First off thanks to everyone that rocked up to Groove Armada gig in PlayStation Home! The venue was literally swamped with you eager PlayStation gig-goers, and (most of you!) dressed to impress… (did I even spot a few glow sticks in the crowds?)

We filmed the gig in action so see if you can spot yourself in the melee below (extra kudos to those of you that managed to track down the limited edition VidZone Trilby btw…)

For those of you that missed the event. Check out the full, un-edited footage on the VidZone application (accessible via the XMB), where you can now watch the entire gig and some additional Q&A footage with Groove Armada.

What’s new this week in PlayStation Home?

Today’s update will bring new costumes to the Street Fighter 4 space, so make sure to drop in and have a browse. With seven new costumes available, there’s plenty to choose from. For the men there will be Balrog, M. Bison, Sagat, El Fuerte, Rufus, and Akuma. For the ladies a C.Viper costume will be available. Which will you choose?

Later on Thursday make sure to get yourself into the Presentation Podium for exclusive interviews, music, and more as VidZone presents Groove Armada! Celebrating the upcoming release of their latest album, Black Light, this is a party you won’t want to miss.

There’s plenty to do away from the stage area as well, with a new mini-game and new rewards. Whether striving to be the fastest to learn the intricacies of the new game or searching for the hidden VidZone merchandise in the zone, there’s something for everyone.

Don’t wait too long, as this is a strictly limited time only event.

It’s confirmed. 3rd December is the date and the Presentation Podium is the place – as PlayStation Home plays host to one of the world’s biggest music acts – Groove Armada.

To celebrate the launch of Groove Armada’s fantastic new Black Light album, in association with VidZone, the Presentation Podium will be re-opened (at dusk) with a brand-new mini-game, new (exclusive) rewards and of course, exclusive music content & interview footage from the inimitable Groove Armada.

First into the venue will receive a one of a kind Groove Armada gig t-shirt for their avatar, plus the chance to hunt down some exclusive VidZone merchandise within the space. Oh, and it’s all completely free.

However, the gig will be on for a limited time only, so make sure you head into PlayStation Home, dress up your avatar and ska to the dancefloor ASAP – this isn’t one you want to wait around for…
