Back in December we asked the SCEE community to submit any questions they had for Akihiro Hino, President and CEO of LEVEL-5, the developer behind Ni No Kuni. The Community Team picked their 10 favourite questions and today we have the answers for you.

Ni No Kuni

It’s that time we know you’ve been waiting for: Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is available now in shops across Europe and Australasia and for digital download from PlayStation Store.

The game, described as “pure, sweet RPG nectar” by Official PlayStation Magazine, is from the talented Japanese development team LEVEL-5 with animation from the legendary Studio Ghibli. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch follows the heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into a parallel world in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead.

Ni No Kuni

Today, everyone here at Namco Bandai is pleased to announce that after much excitement, speculation and community feedback, a demo for our upcoming RPG Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is now available to fans across Europe through PlayStation Store.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an epic adventure created by the talented Japanese development team at Level-5, with animation by the legendary Studio Ghibli, the company responsible for countless animated  masterpieces, such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and Ponyo.

Following its Japanese release in late 2011 for PlayStation 3, the game is coming to European fans on 25th January 2013, with both Japanese and English voiceover, and text localised in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

While waiting to get hands-on with Dishonored here at Gamescom (more on that next week), I ran into an acquaintance from Namco Bandai. He invited me to their booth to experience the two new demos for Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch being shown. I didn’t pass on the opportunity, if nothing else, as an excuse to share beautiful new screens and video with you.
