Access Round Up – Episode 30! Win A PS Vita!

Countries:

We’ve mixed this up a bit this week to cover more of the stuff that PlayStation Access gets up to. Let me know what you think of the new format in the comments!

Access TV Episode 30

YouTube becomes a better place today with the arrival of Episode 30 of Access TV. Heading the line-up this week is open-world action sequel Prototype 2. Changing heroes from Alex Mercer to the very angry James Heller, this follow-up is all about blowing stuff up in fantastic ways, as well as slurping up men like they’re organic milkshakes. Tasty.

Elsewhere there’s the latest on Aliens: Colonial Marines as the team fly out to Dallas for a hands-on with the game and a chat with developer Gearbox Software. Plus, the crew visit Gadget Show Live to get the latest on DiRT: Showdown as well as checking out some awesome gadgets.

Weasley is our King

Harry Potter fans should definitely go check out our YouTube channel for extended interviews with the cast on games, filming and more.

Win a PS Vita!

We have a nasty habit of giving away PS Vita consoles on our Facebook page. There’s one up for grabs right now and entering is stupendously easy.

Who likes paint?

And shooting stuff? We’re dishing out 2x paintball guns, 2x cases of paint and 2x HD “Kill Cams” to attach to your shiny new guns. Oh, and a day’s paintball with UK pro Greg Hastings. You’ve got until Sunday to enter.

Access Episode 25

Countries:

This week’s episode of Access TV isn’t so much a 40-yard screamer as a deft rainbow flick, a cheeky nutmeg, and jaunty shout of ‘Olé!’ All of which can only mean that rebooted trick factory FIFA Street is our game of the week, and you can find out why it’s leaps, bounds and scissor-kicks ahead of its predecessors in the video below.

Also in this episode, we travel to Poland to catch up with the twisted minds behind Lemmings-style PS Vita title A-Men, and we hit the Serbian slopes with Scott Penman to talk SSX with the danger-hunting pro-boarding. All the time he wasn’t upside-down, anyway.

We’ve also got a round-up of the week’s news, including chats with XCOM and Tiger Woods developers, a look at the latest stuff to hit the PSN Store, and some special time with Binary Domain’s awesome voice recognition commands.

So, picking up FIFA Street? Think Scott Penman could be classed as dangerously insane? Let me know in the comments…

There’s also a visit to the beautiful city of Hong Kong to look forward to this week, as the Access TV crew get a first glimpse at gang epic Sleeping Dogs. Not only does the city look gob-smackingly gorgeous, there are interviews with the developers and an ex-Hong Kong policeman to whet your appetite for the game.

Elsewhere the Access team put their Wipeout 2048 skills to the ultimate test by racing star Feisar pilot Ami Nakajima at the recent Vita Rooms event in London.
