As some of you might have read this week, I recently sat down for a chat with Jonathan Morin, creative director of upcoming PS3/PS4 open world actioner Watch_Dogs. He had some interesting things to say about the game’s approach to multiplayer – insisting that it will be so seamless that players won’t even know when the game has transitioned out of single-player and into multi.

It’s a bold, exciting claim, and one that I figured served as an interesting jumping-off point for this week’s debate. So, what I want to know:

Will someone please tell me the last time David Guetta didn’t have something in the charts? Yeah, I can’t remember either, the man is a dance music production machine! Not only that, he is also supporting Rihanna in the UK leg of her tour, and we have tickets that you could win! Luckily it’s not just Mr Guetta beavering away making all the music, we also have big videos from Empire of the Sun, John Legend as well as the return of Stereophonics.

It’s been a furiously busy week on planet PlayStation, so we’ve plenty of catch-up reading for you today! We had new game announcements aplenty (CounterSpy, Doki-Doki Universe and Hohokum), special edition first-looks (BEYOND: Two Souls and Tearaway) two big sales (GTA and ‘Knights & Witches’) and fresh insight into two massive PS4 titles (Watch_Dogs and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag).

Not only that, but we also let the cat out of the bag early on two fantastic titles coming to PS Plus in June – Demon’s Souls and ICO & Shadow of the Colossus HD. We’ll unveil the full line-up very shortly.

As for next week… well, our ‘15 years of Gran Turismo‘ event on Wednesday should prove an exciting focus, but we’ll have plenty of other things to talk about too. See you back here on Monday…

I spent three excruciating hours sat on a broken-down train earlier this week *cue violins* and the only thing that kept me from losing my mind was Soul Sacrifice – legendary designer Keiji Inafune’s hugely enjoyable beast-battling epic for PS Vita. Duly, that’s where today’s debate finds inspiration.
