Killzone Mercenary: new single-player & multiplayer details

Countries: , , , ,

Single Player: Lightning Strike

Two years after the Helghast attack on Vekta, the ISA are taking the battle to Helghan, their fleet gathering above the capital Pyrrhus.

You are Arran Danner, a mercenary currently under contract to the ISA. Your mission is to infiltrate a battery of Arc cannons and direct their fire away from the ISA fleet, instead targeting the Helghast cruisers overhead and opening a way into the city. This is critical to enabling the invasion of Pyrrhus to begin in earnest.

Your first look at Doki-Doki Universe in action

Countries: , , , ,

Hi. I’m Greg, the designer of Sony’s new game Doki-Doki Universe and I run a small game studio called HumaNature Studios. In years past, I created a game you may be familiar with, called ToeJam and Earl.

Announced just last month, Doki-Doki Universe is a game about humanity and emotional expression. It’s sweet and quirky and hopefully a little thought provoking. If you’re interested in a change of pace, you may find it interesting. We hope so, anyway. To give you a better idea for how the game plays, we’ve put together this fun trailer for you.

Doki-Doki Universe is more than a game. It’s a cross-platform ecosystem built around a unique universe of personal discovery. And as you can see in the trailer, the universe you explore is vibrant, fun and playful. There are tons of different places to explore, characters to meet, objects to collect and conjure up, and there are even fun reflective quizzes to take.

However, the most important thing you should take away is that Doki-Doki Universe is about creating an emotionally engaging experience that will help you learn about yourself.

We hope you enjoyed this sneak peek into Doki-Doki Universe!

Wonderfully out-there Hohokum trailer emerges from E3

Countries: , , , ,

Hello there! It has been about a month since we announced that Hohokum will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next year. At the time I mentioned that we would have some gameplay footage coming soon… and here it is! It features lots of new details as well as a close look at some of the characters from the game.

These bits were fun to make as they bring together lots of characters who never actually meet in the game. They seem to be getting on okay though – particularly Brollygirl and the oil-can guy. Gonna have to watch those two.

New Tearaway trailer for PS Vita charms E3

Countries: , , , ,

As is customary at this time of year, a squadron of highly trained Molecules has been sent forth from the safety of Mm Towers in the UK, to the familiar walls of the LA Convention Center where E3, is held each year.

Yes, the Molecules are in town for E3, and we’ve brought Tearaway with us so we can show it to as many people as we possibly can.

With a bit of luck, and some big smiles, those people will go on to share their experiences with the rest of the world, so you should see some previews across the internet over the next few days. We were also lucky to be included in this year’s press conference, so look out for Rex playing Tearaway – he’s been practising all week, bless.

If you can’t wait that long and need a Tearaway pick-me-up right this very second, then stay put, ready your eyes and ears, and prepare for your mouth to fall agape – We’ve got exactly what you need – a brand new trailer for Tearaway! See above.
