Hello Rag Doll Kung Fu friends,

Remember my post on the Rag Doll Kung Fun Online Competition winners?

Well, as promised , the design of the best doll has been turned by Tarsier Studios into a real downloadable character! Run to the Store on the 12th of November to get your FREE” Mistress of Mime” downloadable doll and enjoy many new crazy battles !

If you ask me, I think the Master of Mime is a mixture between a Venice traditional carnival mask and a mysterious mime coming from another century…

We are all very intrigued by the history and look of this doll, so I invite Agnese, the creator of this character, to get back to us on this blog and share with us the idea behind such special design )

Hey, before I forget, Sony Asia also ran the competition and had their winner … The “Shaolin Scarecrow”.

This character is also available on the European Store for free! Add it up to your collection of Rag Dolls, the more the funnier! Don’t forget that all parts of Rag Doll Kung Fu characters are interchangeable, so you will be able to create more and more dolls just using your fantasy.

If you’ve been eagerly waiting to see who the lucky prize winners of our Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic Toy competition are, then wait no longer! First of all, a massive thank you must go out to all who entered – the quality of entries was wonderfully high and it’s been tough picking out the winners, but we’ve enjoyed all of your brilliantly imaginative creations.

Hello all you Kung Fu fans!

I am Tom O’Connor, SCEE Producer of Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic.

This week sees the release of a Time Savers Pack for the game. This pack immediately unlocks all the extra playable characters and costumes in the game, including Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet and a range of other crazy costumes including a Frog and even a lobster!

With all of this extra content unlocked, you will have upto 12 different characters to play with and a whole bunch of different costumes and accessories. That’s not all though – using the games customisation tool you will be able to create literally hundreds of different character combinations of your very own too.

So, how good is your Kung Fu? Now’s the time to show it off, along with your design skills if you want to become part of the massively popular PSN game and win a PS3.

We’d like you to design a brand new toy for Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, the quirky loose-limbed puppet fighting game from Tarsier Studios. The best design will be picked out by the dev team and transformed into an in-game toy character, which will be available to download for free from PlayStation Store for use in Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic.

The winner and ten runners-up will each get their own voucher code, entitling them to a free download of the game from the PlayStation Store. We also have a shiny new PS3 here for the talented creator of the winning design!

How to take part:
Download the template open it in an image editor such as Paint, Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, and draw on your toy design. Don’t worry if you’re not a master of image editors – the competition is about imaginative and interesting designs, so if your concept is great you still have a good chance of winning. Alternatively, you can print off the template to create something truly unique using random items from around your house – just send a photo of your finished handiwork.

Once your toy design is ready, attach it to an email and send it to competitions@community.eu.playstation.com, with RDKF Toy as the subject line. Make sure you include the following information in your email:

• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your country of residence
• Your PSN Online ID (if you have one)

The closing date and time for all entries is Sunday, 12 July, 2009 at 23:59 BST / Monday, 13 July, 2009 at 00:59 CEST.

And don’t forget that the Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic Avatar Hunt is currently underway in PlayStation Home, where you can try to win a limited edition RDKF fish rug.

Hello there! My name’s Elliott and I’m a European Product Manager here at SCEE.

I wanted to let you guys know about a new space and a great new event making their way into PlayStation Home as of tomorrow.

Firstly, the Everybody’s Golf space will be made available to European users. Check out the screenshots below if you haven’t already seen the Japanese version of this space. There will also be a little furniture-related present for those of you that are quick to get in on the action!

Also, starting tomorrow, you’ll have the chance to win an awesome Rag Doll Kung Fu fish rug (possibly the best piece of PS Home furniture yet). A character wearing a unique pair of Rag Doll Kung Fu trousers will be hiding around PS Home for two weeks.
