Australia has a day? Who would have thought? Nah, I’m joking… I knew that. Well we couldn’t let this one slip by without contributing something to the party. Now what do you think we could give to the Australian people to help them celebrate? Alcohol? Nope, BBQ food? fraid not. Party hats? don’t be stupid!… Not got it yet… A PLAYLIST OF COURSE!!!

Sometimes we forget (sometimes on purpose) that our southern hemisphere brethren have got some good weather going on while we have to sit here freezing our (Insert body part here) off. Because of this, we have to try to get artificially summery to give you all videos that remind us of the summer. So all the winter crew have a respite from all the depressing winteriness that has invaded our lives, and all you summer crew have a soundtrack to accompany the shining sun.

You know a band called Phoenix? Well you should. They are French, they are cool, and they make some awesome music. We have an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW VIDEO available on VidZone!! It has loads of behind the scenes footage of them recording their latest album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” with their producer Philippe Zdar (My favourite producer of all time btw…)

We also have all the videos from the album, for your viewing pleasure.

Alright? How is everyone? Broken your new year’s resolutions yet?… Thought so!

Well we haven’t… Ours was to continue the exclusives and features we give to our loyal Vidzonians (Don’t tell me that isn’t a word… There is enough of you out there now to make it a word).

So without further ado… Let’s do it.

We’ve got live footage of The Temper Trap playing at Koko Club in London with a set that includes the brilliant hit single ‘Sweet Disposition’.

We’ve also got their video for the brand new single ‘Fader’ and to celebrate the success of the debut album ‘Conditions’ we’ll be giving the VidZone application a bit of a makeover in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg for the Aussie wonders.

They’re also touring Europe from late February through to May so head over to their website for more details, then you can catch them live in person not only on VidZone!

Essentially, I’m back to say… YOU… ARE… AMAZING!!!! Not that I wanna give you a big head or anything… but you are. Reason? Do I need a reason? Yes? OK…

VidZone is officially the BIGGEST DEDICATED MUSIC VIDEO STREAMING APPLICATION IN THE WORLD!! With over 2,000,000 application downloads and 200,000,000 videos streamed so far!!

I think the correct response is “WOW!” (Or other less broadcast-able superlatives)

Because of you, all of us at VidZone enjoy coming to work every day safe in the knowledge that what we are doing is actually being enjoyed by people all around the world (I know it’s not available everywhere, but you know we are working on it… Feel free to “WHEN POLAND!!” if you feel the need).
