‘Heads-Up’ PlayStation Store Update (26th November 2009)

Hello, hello.

I’ve left writing this update to the very, very, very last minute this week, so for fear of getting my hands slapped by Jem, I’m going to keep this brief.

We have content on the store this week, you may love it, you may not – I will always love you all though, no matter how much you abuse me, that’s commitment right there :)

I’ll try and monitor comments as best I can this week, but forgive me if there is a delay in my responses.

Have a good week all!

Any flow trophies?

There are demos of the Fallout 3 DLC? Or is it ment to be under Add Ons?

Also, do you know if we will get Tekken 6 on PSP?

wasen’t a bayoneta demo comming this week? or was it next week?

What I mean, is Tekken 6 on PSP on PSN…

FallingStickman 26 November, 2009 @ 14:16

Wow, slim pickings. Again. Plus, another awesome, awesome, awesome PSOne game. Good work.

TheKillerSnowman 26 November, 2009 @ 14:16

this week to :( never a good update :(

xKillerMonkeyx 26 November, 2009 @ 14:17

Coolio, also will you be adding videos that get updated to PS Store as it was said like 50 per week.

Cool update Mike.
One question.
Will Catan get a release in Europe?

And does anyone know when AadHoc Party is coming? It was advertised but it never came

awesome breath of fire 3 :D

thanks for the update Mikeface, now get back to work before Jem gets the whip out!

Jem has no control over me (different teams you see) it’s just as I contribute to the blog I should be getting my updates to him much quicker.

He ain’t no boss of me ;)

No Tekken 6 on PSP? No Vagrant Story? What happened to Final Fantasy VIII is due very soon? I sold the discs thinking it wouldn’t be long.

Cool, I think I shall get Lego Indy, and you never know, maybe soon I can get a working copy of Assassins Creed Bloodlines, just waiting for a fix.

Cheers mike…. hey is that a completely new Last guardian trailer? i’ll download if so…

Gonna sound like a broken record but really waiting for that FF VIII update. Sure you can’t lift a little of that veil?

Being a PSP Go customer is actually not what I was hoping it would be. I get games later than retail and more expensive. Or sometimes not at all.

What are SCEE doing about getting games on the store of actual worth?

RadioactiveMouse 26 November, 2009 @ 14:19

Most likely a lull week after the huge updates of recent weeks. I’m hoping that more information on release windows for games such as PixelJunk Shooter and Hustle Kings is forthcoming sometime soon. :)

I know you don’t deal with Video Store Mike but are we getting the same type of post you do on the video side of the store from someone this week? ;) (it’s a bit hazy on how it works)

Tekken 6 is out in Europe on 11th December. It won’t be until then at least.

Just announced…

Amherst_Wind_4 26 November, 2009 @ 14:20

Yay Borderlands DLC!

Mike, I don’t suppose you know what I should do with a glitched Gravity Crash? Theres a trophy for “Unlock any secret level” but any time I try campaign mode all the secret levels are already unlocked. Even when I meet the requirements to unlock a secret level, no trophy… I tried to start the campaign over with new game but the secret levels are still already unlocked even if I do that. :(

Stewart Gilray 26 November, 2009 @ 14:51

I’ll reply to this one. We are aware of the issue and are looking into it. However all is not lost, you can easily get this trophy if you delete your save game and try again.

Not the best solution, but one that does work.

This is caused by the 1001101 Trophy SOMETIMES being collected early. But as I said, you can get it, just not without deleting your save game.

Woo no more beatings for me, the Ultimate alliance DLC finally arrives. Mike does that include the Juggernaut character download as well or is that for another week?

Thx for the heads up.

TheKillerSnowman 26 November, 2009 @ 14:21

where are the good ps 1 games like Alien – Resurrection ? the games there are now in the store to ps1 are for kids from 3-8 years old

Good old Disney, treating us to another one of their PS1 “classics”.

Some people, like a large number of consumers with a family, actually enjoy these games – there are lots of different types of consumer who use the store you know.

update on ff8 please mike, im losing hope

Sorry Mike, not getting props today, this update is very very poor LOL

Any news about new animated themes and premium avatars?

What, the Fallout 3 DLC is priced the way it’s supposed to be now? Too bad for all the people who bought it when it was more expensive -_- Like myself.. *sigh* Ah well…

Nothing special this week.

Mike! We love you to!!!!!!111!!!!11!!!!!SHIFT1!!!!

Borderlands DLC is nice ;-)
But when is Military Madness coming out in EU?

Glad to see Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures for PSP but do you know when the sequel will be on the store (and F1 2009). Thanks. Loving the regular amount of psp games on the store.

Cheers for the heads up Mike. Nothing really takes my fancy this week but then, I’m busy with my import of God Of War Collection and still enjoying Gravity Crash.

Thanks for the update! :)

Nothing this week for me but hey the movie store is bleeding me dry anyways xD

any update for VIII and the game that can not be mentioned on here ends with story

oh another PS1 classic: lilo and stitch… yeah…that sucks. how come almost only disney games come out as classic? Special deal between sony and disney??? something smells fishy…

breath of fire is cool.

I’m still busy with Disgaea from last week, I like that game so much more than what I thought I would!

I like that we got the Uncharted motion comic, and anything about The Last Guardian is awesome! :)

Also Mike, not sure if it was intended or not but good on you for changing the labelling of the PSOne games (at least for a week like this)!!

No longer are they billed as “PSOne Classics”, just “PSone (emulated for PS3 and PSP)” a lot more accurate for a game of Lilo and Stitch: Trouble in Paradise’s calibre…

Lilo e Stich??what??…,where is final fantasy VIII?? please update final fantasy VIII.

Again I ask: Where is PES 2010 for PSPgo? Seriously, the lack of information on this is truly frustrating. When can us PSPgo owners finally play Pro Evo?

I think this update is really good. Borderlands DLC :D (Altho i must resist still playing main game as i havn’t even had it a week)

Plenty of appealing PSP Content again :D

Pat yourself on the back Mike as i can’t do it from here :p

*sends a telepathic message hunt down Capcom and make them give you Resident Evil 1 2 or 3 for release on our store*

Where abouts is F1 2009 then, already a week after the shop version…

On codemaster forums it says: “So here are the confirmed Skirmish DLC pack release dates for both SCEE and SCEA.
SCEE – 26th Nov
SCEA – 3rd Dec”

Solid_Snake1987 26 November, 2009 @ 14:29

It’s not a bad update Mike. I’m still happy playing Disagea on PSP from last week and with my birthday on the Sunday just past I’ve still got Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 to play. Interested in the Madden game after reading it on the US Blog. Nice amount of PSP stuff this week.

Already got those complaining about the Disney Classics! :D

What about the others Breath of Fire games for the psp? are those on the PSN? Breath of Fire 4??

Nice update once again, Kebster!

Two questions: When is Peggle coming and when in the Flow trophy patch coming?

Actually, three questions: …when will video store content be added? Will that be Thursdays too?

” I will always love you all though, no matter how much you abuse me, that’s commitment right there”

Your doing a damn fine job seargent HOAH. Any news on an Avatar demo, the film might shape up to be a good one.

On a side note could you ask Rockstar if they would release GTA:San Andreas on the PS3.

Mike, your resilience to verbal abuse is admirable. Just thought I’d congratulate you on that. It would be nice to see some more (notable) ps1 classics (final fantasy VIII, or even IX) but to be honest I’m absolutely chuffed that the new borderlands content’s finally up; know how I’ll be spending tomorrow…

Sweet! Uncharted motion comic is up, looking forward to watching that bad boy.

I had a question about it though, I remember when it was announced Naughty Dog were saying something about some bonus content or something that came with it, whether it applies to Uncharted 2 I’m not sure – but do you know what I’m talking about and what it is? Or am I making stuff up?

Decent enough update, I’ll be picking up a few of the videos and the Uncharted 2 Motion Comic. I’m still loving Critter Crunch at the moment though, and I still need to get Gravity Crash from Tuesday as well.

Borderlands is an Xmas present so no doubt I’ll be picking up the DLC for that at some point too – especially given that they are using the new and improved exchange rate policy!!! :)

Two questions:

1) Am I right in assuming the free Uncharted 2 map and game mode pack will be an in-game patch rather than a store download given that everyone is getting it?

2) Will the EyePet Lucky Dip packs be available and free indefinitely? I know sometimes these things are limited offers or only available for a limited time. My Nephews and Niece are getting EyePet for Xmas so I want to check that I don’t need to download them in advance!

1) I believe that is the case.
2) As far as I know yes they are not for a limited time.

Nope, nothing that interests me this week at all.

Good excuse for me to not spend any more cash on PSN stuff for once :D

any news on the fl0w trophy patch please?

Hey Mike.

Thanks again for the update this week.

I think I’m right in saying that Braid was released a couple of weeks ago on the US PlayStation Store. Just wondering if you know when we might be getting it?

I understand that this may not be an SCEE issue etc, that’s fine..I’m not complaining. =P Just curious as to when we might be able to expect it.

Thanks again.
