Digital Comics Store Update (28th January 2010)

31 7

Hey everyone, I hope you’ve all had a great week. So you want to know what’s happening in the world of Digital Comics?
Edge Online wrote some flattering words about us in an interview with my boss.

PSN Comics

“With its elegant ‘AutoFlow’ system, which imitates the way that a reader’s eye moves through layouts of the original books, Sony’s designers have built a viewing application that strikes a careful balance, preserving the sense of a comic as a physical object while squeezing its images and text on the confines of its screen.”
You can also read a blog post from Titan about the Shaun The Sheep Comics released last week on the store.
Highlights from this weeks releases
Disney are offering another free comic called “Ultraheroes #0: Prologue” featuring Scrooge McDuck
We introduce 12 issues of The Incredible Hulk (1999) with more coming next week.

Ever wondered about Wolverine’s childhood? Wonder no more. The entire 6 issue series of “Origin” is now on the store
If you’ve recovered from Wormwood’s exploits last week you’ll be pleased to know we start a new story arc “Calamari Rising” which, as always, comes highly recommended.

Before I go, just a quick recommendation from the back catalogue. This week I was amazed by Zombies vs Robots. It far exceeded my already high expectations given the name of the comic & Ashley Wood’s art is fantastic. Check it out.
