With just under a week to go until the LittleBigPlanet 2 launch, our excitement has reached fever pitch, with none other than ‘Sackboy’ himself visiting Australia to celebrate the upcoming launch of his new game.
After stowing away on the PlayStation yacht, Sackboy spent his first day in Sydney cruising around the harbour, checking out the sights, catching some sun and greeting his Aussie fans (of which there were truly many).
Appearing ‘only slightly’ bigger in real life than he does in the videogame world, Sackboy was an absolute pleasure to be around, exuding the fun and mischievous personality that we have come to know and love from him. He told us to expect a few videos of him parading around town (just like the one above) that he will be uploading to the web in order to promote his new game – LBP2 across Australia. Apparently, he has even filmed a live action version of one of the levels in his LBP universe, which will be uploaded closer to the game launch next week. Interesting no?!
In other LBP2 news, youtube megastars ‘Danny Clayton’, ‘Blunty 3000’, and Christiaan Van Vuuren, aka ‘The Fully Sick Rapper’, have all published their own videos discussing their planned level creations for LittleBigPlanet 2, and you can view them all on our LittleBigPlanet Youtube Channel. The Fully Sick Rapper has even created his very own ‘SackBoy’ song that just has to be shared. A simply amazing tribute to the sacked one! Check it out below:-
