Fresh new content for PlayStation Store inbound!

Quantum Conundrum, developed by Airtight Games has you play as a young boy who dropped off to visit your uncle, when you notice something’s wrong. First, he’s not there to greet you. Second, there’s the explosion that happened right as you arrived. And third, the house seems to be even weirder than you remembered it. Now, your job is to find—and ultimately rescue—your uncle, by using his newest invention, the Interdimensional Shift Device (or IDS), to switch between dimensions and solve puzzles. That sofa too heavy to move? There’s a dimension for that! Switch to Fluffy Dimension and that sofa is now light as a feather. Need to get up to a high ledge? There’s a dimension for that! Just switch to Anti-Gravity Dimension and things begin to float upward. Need to make things heavier? There’s a dimension for th—well, you get the idea. Switch dimensions in real time, work your way through the crazy complex mansion wings and rescue your uncle!

Check out other titles such as Pinball Arcade, Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale and Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition and more, including new DLC and themes.

Andy’s got another sale planned, so watch this space. You can still pick up some Final Fantasy titles at a discounted price until next week. Don’t miss them!

Hi Jawad

Please answer

1. Can you ask Telltale games to give us Wallace and Gromit’s grand adventures to PSN.I have done everything in my power to contact them (email, Facebook, twitter) but they haven’t replied at all and your the last hope, please get this game as soon as possible, as this has been asked for a long time now please make it happen, PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP. I really want to play these games, as do many other people. I`d rather play these episodic games then any others by Telltale (walking dead, Jurassic park, Sam and max).

2. Please also push harder for Crash Bash, Myself and a lot of people would love to play this game, its not as if we can even get from the USA PSN as they don’t have it as well, with others like Tombi and Spyro, people can just buy them off USA PSN.

So please can you do every in your power to get these particular games.

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 3:54 pm

    1. There’s probably a business reason why this hasn’t happened yet.

    2. We’re waiting to hear back on Crash Bash.

TroubleMaker411 11 July, 2012 @ 1:01 pm   2

Finally getting Quantum Conundrum!

Cheers for the update

Playtoy_17 11 July, 2012 @ 1:04 pm   3

Can we also have Monster house as a PS2 classic, THQ published this and they good with PS2 classics aren’t they?

Can you find out if this is possible please?

FortyPercent 11 July, 2012 @ 1:04 pm   4

Woo, more free Neptunia mk2 DLC! And I should really pick up The Fuka and Desco Show for Disgaea 4 once I get some money.

TroubleMaker411 11 July, 2012 @ 1:05 pm   5

Not thanks for the update. Cheers for letting us know what’s coming this week?

I see this every week on this post and it infuriates me that half of the community doesn’t know how to say thank you AND starts demanding more stuff!

Makes me ashamed to be a gamer sometimes!

Excellent update;) But all i can think about today is about the MGS4 Trophy News!!! 😛 😛 😛

toxic-inferno 11 July, 2012 @ 1:07 pm   7

Is there an update on how soon we’re going to be getting Spyro yet? Don’t mean to be annoying, but I’m really looking forward to it…

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 3:57 pm

I’m not sure on the date yet but I’d say a few weeks but a number of things could go wrong. Many of you have waited so long so please wait a just a bit more. I’m always keeping tabs on this one!

I asked the last two weeks, not going to stop until you answer Jawad.

Why have New Zealand’s PSN prices gone up, when other regions haven’t and the currency conversion has dropped?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 3:58 pm

It’s not something I can discuss personally. Andy may drop in but I don’t think he’s able to comment either.

redalertrules 11 July, 2012 @ 1:08 pm   9

hey can you please tell us if we will be getting a promotion similar to playstation play in the US for those for psn games as i was going to buy them all. Are we getting a discount for plus and money back if buy all 4?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 3:59 pm

Play won’t be coming to the EU. A summer sale will happen. Watch out on the blog for Andy’s post around August time.

grimbarian 11 July, 2012 @ 1:09 pm   10

So glad there’s nothing on here this week. Just pledged to the Ouya console so I’m skint. Lol

Watch your back Sony.

All I want is Tokyo Jungle…an indication how much longer until it arrives?

yorkypud1976 11 July, 2012 @ 1:10 pm   12

Jawad. How come VITA owners can get MLB 12 The Show and not us PS3 owners. Its a game id love to own. Any chance we can get it too please?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:07 pm

It may come at a later stage but there’s no confirmation on this.

AntGreenfield 11 July, 2012 @ 1:10 pm   13

MLB The Show? Wow! That saves me paying a fortune to import a copy!! Thanks Jawad & the store team 🙂

hey jawad any progress on tekken 4 to come to eu psn ??

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:13 pm

Nope. No plans for it yet, besides Tekken Tag 2 is out soooon! Get hype!

Gizmo24 11 July, 2012 @ 1:11 pm   15

Great update 🙂 will definitely pick up Pinball Arcade for my Vita and the free version for PS3 is a nice touch

the1free_man 11 July, 2012 @ 1:11 pm   16

I was really hoping Quantum conundrum would have a ps plus discount. No matter, I’ll get it anyway.
Any news on Play here in Europe?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:14 pm

Play won’t happen in the EU. A sale will happen later on but won’t be the same as the US. Look out for more info soon…

gr0undp0und 11 July, 2012 @ 1:12 pm   17

Unless you’re a PSN+ member. You’re pretty much screwed with PSN!

patacama 11 July, 2012 @ 1:12 pm   18

Hello Jawad, thanks for the update, I’ll be getting Frogger probably 🙂

I don’t know if you’re aware of it, but Bejeweled 3 has a price of 24.99€, I don’t know if it has been a price update for it or it is a mistake, because the game was at 14.99€ one month ago. Could you check it?

DanteuszPL 11 July, 2012 @ 1:13 pm   19

Nothing new for PS+?

RoboAddy 11 July, 2012 @ 1:15 pm   20

Yo Jawad, I know I ask this all the time, but any news on Castlevia: Symphony of the Night for PSOne Classics?

Also any news on PS Vita firmware 1.8?

Keep up the good work man.

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:33 pm

No news on either…will keep hounding for that there Symphony of the Night.

Hi Jawad

Fast question:

Any chances for Nightmare Creatures or Nightmare Creatures 2 as a PSOne Classic?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:41 pm

I will ask. It’s probably difficult as the two games were published by different groups (Activision and Konami).

Bahamut_MW 11 July, 2012 @ 1:15 pm   22

Hey Jawad, thanks for the update and for finally getting Pinball Arcade in EU =)
Any news on Spyro? Is there a chance of persona 3 FES getting released as a ps2 classic in EU?
Also do you know if Andy is planning any Crysis discount?
Thanks 😉

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:42 pm

No further news to add again this week but it’s still coming.

There aren’t plans for FES yet (does P3P include FES additions?).

It may get something in a sale down the line but no immediate plans.

JadoreSox 11 July, 2012 @ 1:16 pm   23

I’m usually on here complaining but I’m so happy to see Mlb The Show 12 coming to Vita I could kiss you guys.

HiddenAway 11 July, 2012 @ 1:16 pm   24

Wasn’t Fate/Extra supposed to come out this week for PSP?

Also, what’s in the Indie minis bundle?

Thanks in advance 🙂

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:44 pm

You are correct. It should hopefully be up later today, possibly later in the week.

FortyPercent 11 July, 2012 @ 1:18 pm   25

…Not really. The service is quite good, considering it’s free. Of course paying for PS+ is gonna get you a better service, but no, the PSN service is not bad at all.

devill7shash 11 July, 2012 @ 1:19 pm   26

Hi Jawad,

Any news about the english version of Deus Ex when it will be available in Belgium store.

I really hope that you will reply

Starkiller012 11 July, 2012 @ 1:20 pm   27

Hi jawad can u please answer why the psvita version of lego batman 2 is in french in the belgium ps store?

half of the country is dutch like myself and we prefer our games in english, but the fact that this is french only makes it discriminating

aaronrogers2009 11 July, 2012 @ 1:20 pm   28

how do u get a usa psn account, i tried so i could get the spyro games as we waitin ridiciously long for them over here but it asks for a address but mine is uk! Im confused as to how people in uk can do it! Does anyone know how?

Roxas598 11 July, 2012 @ 1:21 pm   29

Nothing for plus today?

Also jawad are we getting dyad next week?

freakwave82 11 July, 2012 @ 1:21 pm   30

My heart weeps every time there is new Disgaea 4 DLC 🙁

SyncroUK 11 July, 2012 @ 1:21 pm   31

I’m utterly shocked to see an MLB title on the store. I asked Ross about getting them on the store over 18 months ago and he looked into it, but I never thought the day would actually come. It’s a shame its only the Vita version but its a step in the right direction.

EinBear 11 July, 2012 @ 1:22 pm   32

I’m going to buy that Gravity Rush DLC so hard!

Sad that it’s the last piece though, I love the game so much and dont want it to be over 🙁

MissDreamer 11 July, 2012 @ 1:22 pm   33

Will Final Fantasy XII be released as a ps2 classic?

andrewsqual 11 July, 2012 @ 1:23 pm   34

I also am confused about MLB The Show. Where did this come from Jawad? There was no meniton of this whatsoever. Is it a mistake? Will it be coming to PS3 as well then? PEGI 12, it isn’t on their website? I can’t believe it is coming today.

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:52 pm

Surprise! I’m surprised a baseball game is here, too. Enjoy.

AlexPSN89 11 July, 2012 @ 1:23 pm   35

@ Jawad (sorry for reposting a slightly altered copy of last week’s comment, but I just wanted to hear something from you):

Hi there! First things first, I wanted to congratulate with you for your efforts with bringing the original Spyro trilogy to the European store, and especially for the advancement you implied with that response of yours two weeks ago. It’s a great goal you’re trying to achieve given the importance of the purple dragon as a Playstation icon, and means a lot to me. Kudos!

However, there’s another thing I wanted to ask you: among the PSP games I own, there’s a bunch of them I have on UMDs despite they’re on the store as well. Is there a way to “give those games away”, so to speak, in exchange for each one’s download code, or maybe their price’s equivalent as PS Store credit? I’m asking this because I’d rather like to have them on my Memory Stick instead of UMDs.

For the sake of information, the games in question are:
– Dissidia Final Fantasy;
– Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy;
– Sonic Rivals;
– Sonic Rivals 2.

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work! 😉

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:54 pm

There are currently no plans for UMD transferals or trade ins or the like. Sadly I don’t think this is on the cards.

If it helps, Dissidia is currently on sale.

chrisandsheva 11 July, 2012 @ 1:24 pm   36

Nothing there… i know a few people have waited for pinball game but apart from that i can’t really see anything i want.. i know theres going to be a few updates like this but is still disappointing.. just hope that theres actually IS some plus content to check out on the store. Not some rubbish theme/avatar etc But maybe a half price GoW collection(s).. like US got… or other similar deals.. will get both GoWs if they were 50% off.. finished and traded them back in release week, but am looking to give them another play.. Question. Can anyone please answer if they know if a save file from Dead Island disc will work with the new game of year edition… i picked it back up (again) on disc, not psn.. but won’t open it till i am sure my 35 hours save is going to work.. normally i would just assume yes,.. But it’s Dead Island any answer/advice will be very appreciated.

FortyPercent 11 July, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   37

It was said earlier in the month that two more free games will be up for PS+ on the 18th and will be mentioned on the blog on the 17th.

madmanwithabox12 11 July, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   38

Does ANYBODY know what’s happening with the Vita version of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock? When can we expect it? I’m fed up of waiting without knowing, the PS3 version has been out for ages now. My hype has officially been killed stone dead. It was supposed to be a nice bridge whilst the show wasn’t on. At this rate season 7 will have already happened before it comes out. Very disappointed.

Bacon_Crispies 11 July, 2012 @ 1:25 pm   39

Last week there was suppose to be a Rainbow Moon Trial that didn’t appear, I noticed that the trial is shown in your update today under PS3 DLC, are we actually getting it this week?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 4:57 pm

My mistake…it showed up as that but I forgot to amend it…sorry!

Nice update!

Will try all demos and think I’ll buy Pinball Arcade…

GaiaScythe 11 July, 2012 @ 1:26 pm   41

Have you got a rough timescale when Zen Pinball 2 will be available? I can’t wait to get all the tables moved over to my Vita.

Hey Jawad and blog team

Persona 4 golden was released june 14 in Japan and releases October 23 in America. Do you know if it will be released for the PlayStation Store in Europe soon?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 5:04 pm

I don’t recall it having a EU release yet but will find out.

Pinball Arcade was supposed to be promoted heavily by SCEE according to its developer, FarSight. This was supposed to be one of the reasons of its delay.

Neither you or FarSight mentions this promotion in your posts.

What will the promotion include?
Any discounts or free DLC because the title is almost three months late?

Please reply with details regarding the promotion.

Hey Jawad,

What the chances of “Heart of Darkness” or other great platformers being added to the PS1 classic?

    Jawad Ashraf 11 July, 2012 @ 5:10 pm

It’s as they come and if publishers are willing to opt in to republish their titles. Me, you, the other guys – we all believe it’s a great venture but convincing publishers can be tricky.

Do you know if EA’s PSP catalogue will be released on the Vita anytime soon?

I don’t think there’s a better portable game than Burnout Legends. I’d love to be able to play it again (I own it, it’s one of the games which doesn’t transfer over from PS3 to Vita).

Titles get worked on all the time so hopefully some will be added soon.

Will definitely take a look at DnD. Was thinking I might pass on the pinball but with both PS3 and Vita in a single purchase for that price I’ll probably grab that too.
