Interview: David Cage Talks Beyond: Two Souls At Gamescom

Beyond: Two Souls screen

Beyond: Two Souls, Quantic Dream‘s rabidly anticipated follow-up to Heavy Rain, ceded the limelight at Sony’s gamescom press conference last week to various other freshly-announced titles, as the French studio got on with the hard graft of development. However, studio boss David Cage was on hand to offer us a quick progress update.

Check out our interview below for more on Beyond’s refined approach to storytelling, Cage’s verdict on working with top Hollywood talent for the first time and how Quantic’s ground-breaking graphics tech has evolved since Heavy Rain.

This looks so good. Any chance of including Heavy Rain on PSN sometime soon? Would love to play it again before this comes out.

Thank you for that link it made for a very intresting read. I’m really excited to experience the journey that Beyond is going to take me on.

Thats how I see David Cages games. More of an experience/journey through someone elses vision of a subject rather than playing a game. I love it for that.

#7: Yes, wrong location (go to the forum next time for these questions), but firmware 1.8 will be released August 28th. You could also have googled this, and get your answer… 😉
