‘Heads-Up’ Game Store Update 19 September 2012

Vita owners! It’s time to take Sackboy on a new adventure in LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita.

A variety of titles head to PlayStation Store this week for PS3 including Borderlands 2, One Piece Pirate Warriors, Jet Set Radio and plenty more.

Today we also have two PSOne titles added into our library – Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and a Japanese Import titled Tall Unlimited.

I’m also told by Andy that Rock Band 1 and 2 DLC will be reduced by up to 50% today, too. There’s a lot of content so be sure to check PS Store for which tracks you’ve really wanted that may have been reduced.

Hey Jawad,

Will we get La Pucelle Tactics as well as US did?
And this time can you try to get it released in all of europe(since it’s a NISA game and they are as we know by now lazy/cheap when it comes to releasing their content).
When something you want it excluded from your region whilst not in rest of europe it gets really frustrating and you feel like the company (NISA in this case) and SCEE think of us as 2nd rate customers and just don’t care that it gives us excluded customers distrust towards both companies?
Can’t you either
a) enforce them to release content all of EU?
b) do that translation work for them somehow or give them the directions to someone that can (since as I understand it all comes down to that they can’t translate some stupid document that need to be translated into swedish in our case)?
c) Revert back so they can send in the stuff in english instead? Really we swedish aren’t that stupid, we can understand english perfectly fine. like 99% of all our games are in english!

Oh and I just wanted to say all Zen pinball DLC 8both 1 & 2) has dissapeared whilst browsing. If you search for them you get a lot duplicates)

Also any chance for a zen pinball DLC sale?

When will Tony Hawk HD be on sale? Can’t justify current price, sry

    Jawad Ashraf 19 September, 2012 @ 1:40 pm

I don’t think La Pucelle is on the horizon for us. I’ve tried to get some guys to look into the NIS stuff alas, there’s not much that’ll change for the past content. New content might see a wider release but I can’t confirm that.

Those who want to see PS1 imports from Square Enix, like myself. Please register on their website and comment to this PSOne blog entry.

Hey Jawad 😉 it’s nice to see Klonoa in store. Do you think you could get other imports like castlevania?

colmshan1990 19 September, 2012 @ 1:36 pm   6

Seeing as the Little Big Planet costumes are cross-compatible, will we be able to browse and download LBP costumes from the Vita store?

Great update, by the way- guess which game I’m gonna buy? 😛

Whoa! Klonoa: Door to Phantomile! One of my favorite PS1 games! Hooray!

Another week without CS:GO and any news about this. Great Sony!

Carnivius_Prime 19 September, 2012 @ 1:37 pm   9

Klonoa! Excellent choice of PS1 game and one I haven’t got around to buying from the US store so I’ll grab it here as it’s easier anyways.

I’ll take the Double Dragon freebie too even though it’s not very good (would have been better if they’d just done nice pixel art graphics like the game could have come from the late 80’s rather than these uninspired 3D graphics)

XDerKleineX 19 September, 2012 @ 1:37 pm   10

What is the filesize of LBP Vita?

Nice to see a few more imports on the store. Had high hopes for the import section when it was first announced and it seemed to go a little quiet.

On another note, is there any news on the EU release of DYAD?

Not to mention it’s the US version of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, even better! So it will run at 60Hz as intended!

killzonexx 19 September, 2012 @ 1:38 pm   13

no resident evil 6 demo? atleast i got it from somewhere else eu psn is a joke

    Jawad Ashraf 19 September, 2012 @ 1:45 pm

RE6 is there. It was mentioned on last week’s schedule since the demo came out yesterday I believe.

markymillertime5 19 September, 2012 @ 1:39 pm   14

£57 for SSX?! Can I have whatever drugs you’re on pls?

Resident evil 6 demo? please? pretty please?

Nice update, will look into Realms Of Ancient War and nice price on LBP Vita very tempting.

TerrorOfDeath86 19 September, 2012 @ 1:39 pm   17

As always, no RDR for Middle Eastern stores 🙁

I suspect the Borderlands 2 Season Pass stays available? So I can also pick it up when the first big chunk of DLC arrives? (No need to use up funds now)

Where is Counter Str.. Oh, never mind..

Resident evil 6 demo is avaible from yesterday…

£58 for SSX? Really? You can get it for less than half of that on Amazon.

PlayingCasually 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   21

Jawad, any hope for Pinball Arcade’s DLC’s?

Rob_Velocity 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   22

Yay Klonoa! Boo, it’s not Vita compatable.

Any idea how big the Little Big Planet Vita download is?

AlennTax_Eu 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   23

Hi, first, can we hope to see a sale on Riviera (PSP) anytime soon ?
Second, can we hope to get the One Piece XMB Theme that was released at the samme time as the game in Japan ?

Aleczandah 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   24

And no CSGO again. Disgusting.

A_Nonny_Moose 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   25

Does Double Dragon have online?

Any ideas on when mhfu is returning to the store?

TheCursedMonkey 19 September, 2012 @ 1:41 pm   27

Hi Jawad,
Will Madden NFL 13 be coming o the store for Vita at all?
And is Little big planet vita released in the UK today or friday?

    Jawad Ashraf 19 September, 2012 @ 1:49 pm

NFL isn’t on the schedule but it may get added at a later date.

LBP is on Friday for UK. Apologies, I’ll add this into the post now.

I have a question about Borderlands 2. It says the price for the full game is £49.99, and the icon next to it says season pass, does this mean it comes with the season pass?

This would be considerably cheaper than buying the game at retail, and then paying £23.99 for the season pass, so I would consider it if that’s the case.

It’s a little unclear, so if you could straighten this out it’d be much appreciated.

Still no Counter-Strike, nice: it’s almost one month late. The fun fact is that it is last month’s top seller in the US PS Store. Good job, SCEE, every European customer is proud of you. And we are still waiting for an explanation about this ridicolous delay: after one month, a “We have no news” is not acceptable anymore.

Any news of Peace Walker HD download for PS3?

Realms of Ancient War is looking good 🙂

AntGreenfield 19 September, 2012 @ 1:42 pm   32

No Vita compatibility for Klonoa? Shame. Will it be added at any point?

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile .. Yeah Great Game!

Any chance of this coming to the Vita as well?

How much is SSX?!?!! Not to worry, I own it on disc already.

Real question (and expecting the worst answer), CS:GO? It’s not coming is it?

Does LBP Vita digital contain the network pass or do I have to buy to it?

teh__pwnerer 19 September, 2012 @ 1:44 pm   36

Any chance we could get Shinobido: Way of the Ninja for ps2?

Resident evil 6 came yesterday and was announced in last weeks update to give us notice. Pay attention people, your own fault if you don’t.

Cyberendpunk 19 September, 2012 @ 1:44 pm   38

Will definitely be picking up Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. One of my top 5 Platformers. I hope to see more imports make it across the pond in the coming weeks.

And is there any news on Retro City Rampage? Im waiting with baited breath here and from my understanding the gaming was finished back in July, what is keeping so long?

Hirndoctor 19 September, 2012 @ 1:44 pm   39

Thank you very much for Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Really. Thank you, Sony. I’m so happy, that you’re communicating with us. And the infos for the delay after 4 weeks. Thank you. You’re great.

aaronwalkeruk 19 September, 2012 @ 1:44 pm   40

Klonoa is s brilliant title, wil be grabbing that later. Any news on Suminoni Demon Art for Vita, again US store has had it since March. thanks

Any news on Dyad? The developer submitted the EU version several weeks ago now.

Gods-and-cats 19 September, 2012 @ 1:45 pm   42

Whats the deal with network pass for LBP vita, if we buy the game online do we have to pay extra for network pass ?

Overlord1304 19 September, 2012 @ 1:46 pm   43

Hi Jawad. Please can you look into Rock of Ages for South Africa? Apparently there was some mistake that it didn’t go up with the rest of the world, but we’ve heard nothing since then! It would be nice to get it free for two weeks on PS+ like we were supposed to … Thanks!

SPEEDY_DTC 19 September, 2012 @ 1:46 pm   44

1 Month without CS-Go. We love u Sony! Good Job PSStore Team. Thanks for quick informations to the Customers. We aren’t so important, that’s right :). Japanese PS1 Imports are naturelly more important than CS-Go.
And again, we really thank u Sony for good and quick Service!
Sony 4Ever!!!

slayerking69 19 September, 2012 @ 1:46 pm   45

I’m with Chocobo115 when is Tony Hawks HD getting a realistic price? It’s $9.99 on steam and you want $23.95 for it HAH!!

Any news on Symphony of the Night? Honestly the we are looking into it reply has been given since the store started.

Klonoa !! 🙂

Same question here regarding Borderlands 2.
We have previously been told that the game was £49.99 (rip-off) but here it shows the season pass icon. Can you clarify if £49.99 includes the full game and all future DLC or if this is a mistake in the blog post please?

TheBigBoss0001 19 September, 2012 @ 1:48 pm   48

Thanks for Klonoa Jawad, great game!

Do you think you could get us Suikoden I & II? I think there’s alot of people who would like to play these games.

SPEEDY_DTC 19 September, 2012 @ 1:48 pm   49

Ahhh, before i forget. Thank you again Sony 😉

Ohh I’ll definitely de getting that Borderlands 2 season pass! Can’t wait!
