MUBI Update: 20 September 2012

While our partnership with the Venice Film Festival is still ongoing — bringing you films from 10 Years of Venice Critics Week in our exclusive retrospective — MUBI‘s collaborations with fall film festivals continues this week.

Starting Friday and going on through the rest of the week, MUBI is partnering with Queer Lisboa, the oldest film festival in Lisbon and the sole Portuguese film festival dedicated exclusively to screening gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and transsexual themed films, a genre known as Queer Cinema.

Queer Lisboa

As normal with many of the film festivals we bring to you, new films will be added to MUBI’s program after they screen publicly at the festival. Check back each day to see what’s been added! Our lineup includes over 20 films, and each title is free. Films will be playing through the duration of the festival.

We’ll be showing titles in the Short Competition, Queer Art section, Centrefold Screenings, Queer Brasil section, Documentary Competition, and more. Come discover what makes this festival so special in Portugal.

Beginning September 21, head to this link to see the current lineup.
