PlayStation Plus for PS Vita: Launch details confirmed

Hello everyone. I know that you’ve all been eagerly anticipating news of the PlayStation Vita Plus service so I am very happy to say that I can finally spill the beans.

We here at Sony PlayStation are very happy to announce that as of 21st November, the Plus service will be extended to the PS Vita. I can also confirm that if you already have a Plus subscription for your PlayStation 3 there is no additional charge whatsoever for the PS Vita service, meaning that you still get all the great PS3 content as well as the additional Vita offers, all for the same one-off price of £39.99 a year.

I am also happy to announce that to compliment the 1GB of online storage you currently receive for the PS3, we will be supplying another 1GB of online storage space for the PS Vita, along with the automatic update facility as standard. As part of the launch of this service the next PS Vita System Software Update (v2.00) will be available to ensure that your operating system is fully up to date with all the latest security patches as well as updated applications, features and settings.

Now, moving on to the important aspect and what you are all here for – the games line up…

At launch there will be four Vita titles available to you instantly. Please note that this is not going to impact the amount of PS3 games available at all – you will still receive the same amount of games as before. However, with the great Vita titles we’re adding to your Instant Game Collection, at any one time you will always have access to a minimum of 14 games a month across both platforms. Not bad, eh?

As with the PS3 service, we will have titles that will be available to you for a longer period of time than usual so you have the chance to play them when and where you feel like, without worrying about them leaving the service anytime soon. For the PS Vita, these two titles will be Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is Nathan Drake’s first adventure on the Vita platform, and follows our hero as he investigates the dark secrets of a massacre of a Spanish expedition to Central America around 400 years ago.

The game is visually stunning and the touch screen display lends itself to a whole new depth of gameplay, making it one of the most exciting Uncharted adventures yet! A must for any Vita owner!

The second title that will be available to you for a prolonged period of time is brought to you by our friends in Japan Studio in the form of Gravity Rush.

gravity rush

You take on the role of Kat, a young girl struggling with amnesia in the troubled city of Hekseville. She awakes with the extraordinary ability to bend and shape gravity with the help of her feline companion Dusty the cat. The townsfolk quickly place the fate of their home in Kat’s hands as she endeavours to understand why she has these new powers and who commands the sinister forces wreaking havoc across her city.

We really love this game and think that everyone should give it a go, as it really highlights the impressive features of the PS Vita.

As promised we also have two further titles launching on the service on 21st November, the first of which is Chronovolt.

Chronovolt is a brand new 3D puzzle platformer game for the PlayStation Vita family in which the player must guide their Chronosphere through the twists, turns, traps and hazards of Escher-like arenas. Chronovolts scattered around the levels give the player the power to control time in various fashions: stopping it for selected objects, rewinding it and creating time warps.

Time is controlled through use of the PS Vita’s front and back touch panels while the Chronosphere can be controlled either with tilting or with the more classic dual stick controls.

Finally the remaining title that we will have available in your instant game collection comes from our friends at Drinkbox Studios in the form of Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. This side-scrolling platform game is extremely enjoyable to play and its humorous cut scenes make it a light-hearted journey from start to finish. Please take the time to check it out.

With all this great content lined up for launch and more to come, it couldn’t be a better time to be a Plus subscriber. If you are not currently a member visit our PlayStation Plus site or all you need to know about the service!

Oh just one more thing… as an added bonus, because we think it’s worth celebrating the launch of the service we have secured 20% off a range of PS Vita titles for the first week of the service. Remember, these are only around for one week and will go live as soon as the store update has rolled out so grab them while you can!

Titles to be included are:

  • Escape Plan
  • Unit 13
  • Hustle Kings
  • MotorStorm RC
  • Super Stardust Delta and Advanced Star Fighter Pack Bundle
  • Top Darts
  • Little Deviants
  • Modnation Racers: Road Trip
  • Reality Fighters

I think that pretty much covers everything about the impending launch of the Vita Plus service which is going to be a great addition to the PlayStation family. If you have any questions please post them on here and I will try to get round to as many of them as possible.

Did you enjoy this?

I might now need to pick up a Vita πŸ™‚

Megaton!!! Uncharted GA is fantastic, cant wait to try Gravity Rish and other titles. Thanks!!!

w00t, that is just to impressive, glad I already have plus! Thx PlayStation.

DanteofSmeg 13 November, 2012 @ 4:05 pm   4

Awesome , thank you so much well worth the wait.
Good work guys

Oh my goodness!! I am overwhelmed, thanks guys, this is incredible!!! Many memory cards are going to have to be bought now πŸ˜‰ You should think about releasing bigger memory cards now πŸ˜›

Hi Chris,
nice stuff. πŸ™‚

quick question,

is there a chance of a + discount for PS All Stars Battle Royale?

anyway thx for this stuff

SpitelordDekka 13 November, 2012 @ 4:06 pm   7

After months and months of negativity from the community (myself included) I am genuinely happy at this line up. It looks like a good cross-section of the Vita’s library.

almighty-slayer 13 November, 2012 @ 4:07 pm   8

Great line up.

Shame US gets Wipeout for free and we don’t though.

Also, i own all of those except Chronovolt.

INS1GHTFUL 13 November, 2012 @ 4:07 pm   9

this is great. but one question. the us are getting jet set radio. i dont care that its not included in Plus but is it coming out in EU next week for vita too?

PsychoDantis 13 November, 2012 @ 4:07 pm   10

Hmm, great news, though I hear the US gets six titles, including Wipeout, which is obviously another Vita retail release.

Why the discrepancy?

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:21 pm

No real reason we just feel it is a better set up for EU this was, but there will be a few surprises over the coming months so look out πŸ™‚

Great time to be a Vita owner and a Plus subscriber. Thanks a lot, people. πŸ˜€

Buying bigger memory cards is a must now. XD

ShogunDarius 13 November, 2012 @ 4:08 pm   12

with the wording used you make it sound like that if your not a ps plus subber by 21st you have to pay extra for a vita plus sub, this true?

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:23 pm

Nope, if you are not a Plus subscriber there is no better time to sign up as you will now get all the VITA and PS3 content for the same price as before, we have not changed this.

Confused by the wording of the ‘prolonged period of time’ thing. Will we still be able to download these if we’ve previously ‘purchased’ them (added them to our account) and they then go off the service, as with the PS3, or is this changing?

This is awesome but I give you one guess at which two titles I picked up when I bought my Vita last month πŸ˜‰

Actually, I’m confused, how does this tie in with PS3 PS+ do we have to choose between Vita games and PS3 games now? I’m not complaining if that’s how it works ‘cus that’s a great deal. I am just highly confused as to how this will work for you guys if it’s included in the same price.

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:25 pm

You don’t have to choose!! You can have both if you have a PS3 and VITA console πŸ™‚

This is pretty amazing, such great games, and all for such little money! I am just wondering the following: I don’t own a vita yet, I’ll be buying one after christmas. Will I be able to “buy” these games from the PS3 store, so I can still play them when I get my Vita?

Mr_Writer 13 November, 2012 @ 4:09 pm   17

*adds PSVita to basket*

I was holding off untill this was announced. You now have at least one sale.

Three of the four Vita games in November are games I already own. Well, here’s to hoping the content in December fares better for me.

Okay, that is awesome. Guess a Vita is required now. πŸ™‚

great info

mulletboyjay 13 November, 2012 @ 4:11 pm   21

You state both 20th and 21st in the article. Presumably you meant 21st for both of them?

Wow, that’s fantastic stuff.

Megatrons_Fury 13 November, 2012 @ 4:12 pm   23

Impressed by this beyond belief.

I currently have no VITA console although i did purchase DISGAEA 3 for it for the day i knew i would get one.

PS PLUS for me is a bit of a wet blanket as i always seem to have the games you offer but considering i dont have anything for the VITA this makes the service so much cooler for me.

Can i ask the community how large games like Uncharted and Gravity rush are please?

Well done Sony, praise earned, praise given.

Mr_Writer 13 November, 2012 @ 4:12 pm   24

Sorry quick question… How often do the games refresh? Is it two will last 6 weeks and the other two 8 weeks?

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:34 pm

Uncharted Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush are going to be available for you for some time. The other two titles will change on a regular basis

planeet32 13 November, 2012 @ 4:13 pm   25

I think i’ll wait with entering PS + for the Vita as I already own and finished 3 out of 4 games from the instant game collection. Too bad. I was really looking forward to this… How long will Uncharted and Gravity Rush be part of the instant game collection? I might pick PS + up at a later time when there will be games available that I didn’t play yet. Good collection of games though πŸ™‚

Can we donload them trough the Vita store or do we need to do it trough the PS3 (not so wondeful) store?
How will games change and when?

Dante_Zero 13 November, 2012 @ 4:13 pm   27

awesome sauce although already have owned both gravity rush and Uncharted (platted both πŸ™‚ ). Great way to launch for those on the fence regarding PSVita although I have to be that guy and ask why the US also got Jet Set Radio on PSVita as part of Plsu but we miss out on it?.

p.s For the love of god dont add PSP games to the instant game collection as that’s really not cool .

Good line up and im glad the service has been announced but im dissapointed modnation will soon be free as chris specificaly said in the racing sale that the vita titles were a safe buy when asked if they were going to end up in plus and this post shows that is not the case.

Feel a bit let down by that as i did buy modnation as a direct result of that reply.

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:36 pm

Modnation is not free it’s just got a 20% discount for one week to celebrate the launch of this new wonderful addition to our PlayStation family

Great games but to bad I already have them :(. Later on I hope you won’t pick the most popular games to be for ps+ as most people who own the psvita will already have them.(Like Uncharted and Gravity Rush)

Can’t wait to play Chronovolt doh.

asadkhan87 13 November, 2012 @ 4:14 pm   30

Time to invest in that 32 gig card ;).

Worfthedog 13 November, 2012 @ 4:15 pm   31

Ambassador, with the launch of Playstation Plus for PS Vita you are really spoiling us!

Im Still waiting for my PS Plus trial from the playstation access facebook competition. Its been a week with no email πŸ™

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!! I just bought Gravity Rush yesterday for Β£20 πŸ˜› Damn!!! Thank god i held off from getting Super Stardust though. Been wanting to get that game for ages

Good stuff but shame about the discrepancy. Is be interested to know why we are worth less. Good starting line up though. Might have to see how much trade in I get on uncharted

turbogeek421 13 November, 2012 @ 4:17 pm   35

Finally, PS+ is coming to Vita! Uncharted is an excellent game, this is an excellent excuse to complete it all over again. Looking forward to getting Gravity Rush, been on my list for ages.

No excuse for Playstation gamers not to have PS+ now!

Carnivius_Prime 13 November, 2012 @ 4:17 pm   36

Uncharted Golden Abyss as a freebie? I may have to go get a Vita now then as that’s one of the games I was planning to buy with a Vita when I eventually got one. Methinks I will have to check my bank balance and for any good deals around for a Vita. How much space does Uncharted use up by the way? Just asking for when choosing which memory stick I can try to afford.

Or have i read it wrong and the titles listed at bottom are planned sale titles?

Flame-cro 13 November, 2012 @ 4:18 pm   38

Great games, but it’s little hard to not be disappointed when seeing games US will get.
Not making sense why they always get more then users in Europe
If we could get wipeout as them it would be great

bournewilder 13 November, 2012 @ 4:19 pm   39

absolutely incredible. thanks

Not bad at all, thanks!

Obviously a little disappointing that America would get 2 extra games for both PS3 and PSV but I have plenty to occupy my mind.

Just wondering though; will PS+ for Vita ever include PS1 and PSP classics?

Dr-abdulelah 13 November, 2012 @ 4:20 pm   41

thanx for this Awesome games lineup
i was hope to get wipeout 2048 , but i think it will come in the coming months as free for PS+
thanks again πŸ™‚

Dante_Zero 13 November, 2012 @ 4:20 pm   42

18 titles each month on US for ps plus, 14 titles each month for EU on plus. ? what gives. Also any word on apps such as NicoNico, Netflix, wake up club, t@g, Imaginstruments etc. I ask on the store updates but no one there cares about vita.

    Fred Dutton 13 November, 2012 @ 4:23 pm

We’ll have news on many of those apps soon. t@g in particular is very, very close…

This is a great line up for plus on Vita – nice one πŸ™‚

Can I suggest a tie up with psn plus and music unlimited? A special price if you have plus and music unlimited?

I have had and completed Uncharted (even got platinum on it) but I have been craving to play it again. I have not played the other 3 but I have heard good things about Gravity Rush.

Looking forwards to trying the other 3 out.

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:43 pm

Gravity Rush is awesome! Enjoy it as it’s a brilliantly designed game with a really engaging storyline

napalmjam360 13 November, 2012 @ 4:21 pm   45

once again i have all the games psplus is a waste for me i never seem to get any reward for being loyal sony just seem to reward casual gamers

RossyWilson 13 November, 2012 @ 4:21 pm   46

Well done Chris, this is a fantastic line up. I will definitly be getting a vita now. also how long before the two other games change.

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:44 pm

I don’t want to give away all our surprises at the moment but there will be regular changes, we may throw in a few surprises here and there as well

I guess I’m in the minority as I had hoped some of the psp titles playable on vita would be available I won’t be getting a vita until christmas so was hoping there would be something for the psp

future request Touch My Katamari please

Wow… It even made me forget that I can’t grab Cubixx HD! This is excellent, even if I already own two of the games it’s still great!

@Max. Got the receipt still? Take it back and say “Uhh, sorry, I don’t even own a Vita…”

I have it on my card now and its over 3gb think its close to 4gb

I have a 16gb card and i think im buying another at end of month as i already lack space b4 plus

holy crap, plus keeps getting better. so glad i renewed in september.

the-draconian 13 November, 2012 @ 4:24 pm   52

I heard about the launch on on IGN so though though it was a great launch line up, but the lack of Jet Set Radio is a bit disappointing…What’s the deal? Will we get it at a later date?

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:49 pm

Just remember everyone, just because a title isn’t on the EU systems yet doesn’t mean it won’t be in the future

Yeah im jealous because US get additional Wipeout 2048 and Final Fantasy Tactics πŸ™ But i guess Uncharted GA and Gravity Rush is like LBP 2 and inFamous 2 on PS3 version of PS+ – one year available, and we’re waiting for Game of the month for PS+ Vita

Chocobo115 13 November, 2012 @ 4:24 pm   54

Really happy with the launch of PS+ on vita so far.
Here hoping you’ll stick us some PSP RPG games at times?

Hang on, back up minute? You think its a better set up for Europe to get less? This should be good for a laugh. How do you work that one out?

PayaV87eng 13 November, 2012 @ 4:25 pm   56

Well guys, you know, its great for new Vita costumers, and I guess that’s the point here, but most people already got these, who owns a Vita. (I mean the two big title of course: Uncharted and Gravity Rush). So it’s a bit letdown for me, but cheers for anyone, who had not have them. That just pure luck, but what concerns me, is that these will be there for a prolonged time, meaning, we won’t get other big titles soon and the two PSN title will be switched to -I suppose- other PSN titles.

The other thing is, US haven’t got a -20% Sale and Chronovolt, but they got Wipeout 2048, Jet Set Radio HD and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for the PSP. Is there a different plus plan there, or they are at the forefront, so they get more for marketing reasons? I just feel discriminated because I live in Europe.

By the way, great Collection, I bet it was hard work to get, and I’m happy to see Plus on Vita.

Looked at the US vita psn plus post first then this. Doesn’t seem a good deal now. They get 6(although one is a psp game) and we get 4. How many times do we have to get screwed before we are treated equally. This isn’t a dig at just Sony as they all do it. Europeans are 2nd class once again.

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 4:26 pm   58

god sake you made a pig ear of a post 1st two games on 20th of november but it starts on 21st we get 14 games right compared to SCEA get 6 vita games.

to our 4 right once again SCEE we get a raw deal stuff you, but this….

“thisAs with the PS3 service, we will have titles that will be available to you for a longer period of time than usual so you have the chance to play them”

you were ask will the Ps3 IGC will suffer No it was, but having longer times to refresh content do suffer the number of content any fools know that.

Im really thinking of getting rid of my vita and Ps3 Sony go give your belloved america great cont while we get shafted but i wont see it.

Carnivius_Prime 13 November, 2012 @ 4:26 pm   59

Can I ‘download’ these games using my PS3 (I mean so they get added to my PSN account even when I don’t actually download, which is what I’ve been doing to even the Plus freebies I didn’t want, just in case I change my mind later) and then always have them on my PSN account for when I can afford a Vita? (I’m likely to always be a Plus subscriber)

xenokiller90 13 November, 2012 @ 4:26 pm   60

at last…………..

freaking awesome well done team !!!?

RockLobster2074 13 November, 2012 @ 4:26 pm   61

Holy crap this is great! I assumed we’d get something like Super Stardust free, but Uncharted AND Gravity Rush? That’s just brilliant.

Already own Uncharted and Gravity Rush but I’m glad more will be able play the latter now. Hopefully increase the fan base before Gravity Rush 2!

greg miller from IGN told me of an email app? is this ps plus only?

This is good news! But… i am indee disapointed of wipeout on US PS+ πŸ™ But this is great indeed too…. but no wipeout πŸ™

Now i’m considering buying a VITA….

Hi Chris and the store team! You’re off to a great start with this, although I already own three of those games but I’m sure over the coming months I’ll be seeing titles I might have missed out on (Saying that those three games are probably the best three out of all the ones I have played, so new users are in for a treat!).

I hate to be that guy, but looking at the US Vita Plus, I am a bit jealous, so I would like to suggest WipEout 2048, Final Fantasy Tactics and Jet Set Radio as possible titles for future months. πŸ˜›

I was also wondering Chris, if you could post how long we will have each title for the same way you do for the PS3 Plus posts? Thanks πŸ™‚

I’m probably going to be subbed to PS+ til the end of time at this rate, fantastic service.

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:52 pm

Moving forward we will be providing updates on content for you so you will be aware of what is coming

mike_291990 13 November, 2012 @ 4:29 pm   67

Can’t wait! 2 of the 3 games I was expecting to be included and 2 games I’ve been inteested in getting (the 3 games I was expecting was Uncharted Gravity Rush and Little Big Planet)
Going to be away from the 20th but will download them when I get home, just in time for my birthday πŸ™‚

now we have online storage for Vita are we able to just back up save files with this new firmware? Seems pointless if we have to back up full games like we currently do. I’d love to be able to get my save file from my retail version of Gravity Rush so I can use it on the downloadable version.

So I assume you can only download the Vita plus content on a Vita right πŸ˜‰ That way the people with PS3 and not a Vita can’t download it all and save it for a future Vita. That’s exactly how it should work because I can’t understand how you guys are making any money here O_o

Anyway, my question is as I wrote above before I got off track :3

willbillbill 13 November, 2012 @ 4:30 pm   70

This is shocking, in a good way. I expected it to be titles that didn’t sell or were now on the cheap but these are two top title for the system. I already have Uncharted but I think it is a game everyone should play. Gravity Rush was on my list for the new year once I got my back catalog sorted so to see it here has made me a very happy vita owner. If this is the kind of service we can expect for vita plus then job very well done sony europe

Maybe we should have a little vote. Who thinks “its a better setup” for us to get less than everyone else?

will we be able to buy avatars now on the vita?

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 4:30 pm   73

@Samtman i must agree with you it disgraceful but you know america is a superpower and as such they need to be shown that they are better then us so they obviously get better content.

it look like ross jump ship because he knew this was going to happen remember a game he promise for plus it never happen.

Would be cool if we would get a launch discount like the day1 digital release Promotion US got few weeks back.

Furiekins 13 November, 2012 @ 4:30 pm   75

That’s actually incredible. I was expecting maybe a few of the poor sellers like Mod Nations which you can pick up for peanuts now, rather than actually really good, AAA games on the first pass.

Very impressed with the potential line up.

The only thing that could make it better would be a permanent Singstar icon on the Vita too! Please? πŸ˜‰

Nightmare966 13 November, 2012 @ 4:31 pm   76

Guys, you’re making an user here start debating how to get funds for a new portable console…

Titles to be included are:
Escape Plan
Unit 13
Hustle Kings
MotorStorm RC
Super Stardust Delta and Advanced Star Fighter Pack Bundle
Top Darts
Little Deviants
Modnation Racers: Road Trip
Reality Fighters

are these future free titles of some of the titles in the 20% off sale?

also is the refresh 2 games per month?

    Chris Howe 13 November, 2012 @ 4:55 pm

These are titles that are going to be discounted for the first week to celebrate the launch

Yes the refresh will be two games a month

Nice one Sony. PLUS is a MUST.

AshishSahoo 13 November, 2012 @ 4:33 pm   79

Hey Chris/Fred,
Really psyched for plus now, will probably buy it next week. Although as I never had plus before, I have a few questions.
1.Can I put ps3 IGC games in my download list using vita as I currently use my ps3 and I dont want to miss on the bulk of plus freebies.
2.How many games will be rotated for vita each month?
3.Will there be a discount on plus subscription anytime soon?
Thanks in advance!!! Keep up the great work!

SOME psp RPGS would not be wrong from time to time as a bonus :).

Fantastic lineup, I was about to buy GR so will now hold off πŸ™‚ I’m so glad that I bought a 32gb card!

thehappyworm 13 November, 2012 @ 4:34 pm   82

Gravity Rush is an excellent game β€” a very nice choice for one of the “permanent” slots on the Vita’s Plus lineup. And I had a lot of fun with Mutant Blobs, too!

Together with Uncharted (which I haven’t played, myself) I think you’ve arranged a top-notch introduction to Vita gaming here. I wouldn’t be surprised if the extension of Plus to Vita will be the tipping point for a lot of those who were thinking about investing in the console this Xmas, and these games will give them some *very* sweet first impressions.

I have one request/question: You know how, on the PS3, each month’s headlining Plus game is often accompanied by a sale on that game’s DLC? Well, any chance you could do something similar for Gravity Rush this month? Being able to nab those bonus missions & costumes at a discount would be a jolly nice gesture towards Plus subscribers who already own the game πŸ™‚

This is disappointing,i have Uncharted and Gravity Rush retail copy,i was expecting WipEout for free

fjernbetjening 13 November, 2012 @ 4:36 pm   84

WOW! The launch lineup looks great! I’ve been looking to buy Uncharted: Golden Abyss for some time now, but I haven’t due to the retail version being really expensive – I’d prefer to have it on disc, but who can argue with that price?

And I’m really looking forward to Gravity Rush too! πŸ˜€

No Wipeout like US? πŸ™ What a shame…

But… i like this lineup exept of FF Tactics and Wipeout on US… I realy donΒ΄t know what is good on “less” lineup before US…

A_Nonny_Moose 13 November, 2012 @ 4:37 pm   86

I was expecting some PSP and PS1 titles, but on the other hand I wasn’t expecting 4 Vita titles. So good work.

Will System Software 2.0 make saves separate from their game apps (PSP save design instead of iOS design) for PSN downloaded games so you can back up SAVES only more quickly? If not, cloud backup is only going to be useful for retail titles and small PSN games. Escape Plan alone is several GB for the combined game+save.

I already have Uncharted, but this is some great news!!

USA got the better end of the deal this time around, where for PS3 EU got more/better games.

Still disappointed we didn’t get Wipeout and Jet Set Radio HD like USA.

Probably they’ll drop next month, but still.

By the way, I suggest Escape Plan incl the DLC for free for December. It is a launch title, and it shows the touch stuff best compared to the rest of the line up in games.

Good that I only have Uncharted, and not yet Gravity Rush.

O1d8oy_23 13 November, 2012 @ 4:39 pm   90

Awsome line up. Now I have to buy another16gb card.

Paranoimia 13 November, 2012 @ 4:40 pm   91

No doubting the value, but Plus still isn’t for me, even with a PS3 and a Vita.

It still seems geared towards people who are new to the platform, or simply don’t buy many games. I have no interest in minis or PS1 games, and of the rest, I’ve already owned, played and sold the games I wanted to play. Of the games listed above, I already own the 4 I want – the rest hold no interest for me, even for free.

I still think you need to offer a tiered service, and/or throw in some movie rentals. I could use the automated firmware updates, but it’s far from a necessity as it never takes more than 7 minutes to update my PS3 anyway. The only thing Plus currently offers which I would like to use is the online save backup, but that’s not worth Β£40 a year.

Hapimeses 13 November, 2012 @ 4:43 pm   92

Oh, bloody hells. I wasn’t going to but a Vita until it was super cheap, but this swings me to buying one now. Damnit.

*watches money fly from his wallet*

Ah, well. Never mind.

Best news ever. Playstation plus is the best service you can buy if you are interested in games.

supersmith2500 13 November, 2012 @ 4:44 pm   94

No WipEout love? Ah well, have the game anyways but WILL going to pick Gravity Rush and When Mutant Blobs Attack for sure. Gravity Rush is an awesome game and I played the demo of it. I’d recommend it to anyone and even my friend loves it. =D

AlexAtkinUK 13 November, 2012 @ 4:44 pm   95

Well this sucks compared to the US list IMO.

I have been looking forward to Jet Set Radio for months, got all excited that it was included in Plus, to find that its US only.

That pretty much sucks seeing as I have owned Gravity Rush since the PS Vita launch as it was the only game I was interested in.

Then there is the fact I have a 32GB card that is almost full. With Plus launching, you really need to launch a 64GB memory card to go with it.

“backup my games onto my PS3 and swap them” you might say, but backing up to PS3 is painfully slow. I suspect its actually slower than downloading the game again over WiFi, which in itself is far slower than any other device on my broadband/WiFi.

ChemicalBacon90 13 November, 2012 @ 4:44 pm   96

PlayStation Plus really is fantastic value for money, it has to be said.
Can certainly see this helping to boost sales by increasing the value proposition of the platform.

If you own a PS3 and are a Plus subscriber but don’t currently own a PS Vita, will you still be able to download/add these PS+ titles to your download list on the PS3, so that when you do get a Vita, you’ll be able to play them?

shadowed_phoenix 13 November, 2012 @ 4:45 pm   97

I already own Uncharted and Tales From Space, but I’ve been holding off from buying Gravity Rush in case this happened ^_^

It’s a shame America get Jet Set Radio & FF Tactics and we don’t, but maybe we’ll get them next month! I think I’ll need to ask for several new memory cards for Christmas, just to hold all the new games!!

Chronovolt looks pretty interesting, and I’m looking forward to play it.

Too bad. In the US they are also getting additionally WipEout and FF Tactics from the PSP. πŸ˜‰

Very impressed by your work Chris! (There isn’t a high enough character limit to put enough exclamation points!(!!!))
First you get us Ratchet and Clank All 4 One + Crysis 2 and now you get us some fantastic Vita games!

I’m a little annoyed that I already have Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but that is a first world problem if I ever had one. Fantastic game and this is awesome for the people that hasn’t played it yet! Gravity Rush is going to be awesome (any chance of PS + discount for the DLC as well?)

I have a question regarding some of the 20% discount at launch titles though. I would prefer not buying Unit 13 if it turned out to be the free game 2 months from now.

Also, does this mean we get 1 new game a month or 2 new games a month?

Oh, and wishlist for the future: Rayman, Resistance, Plants vs Zombies and Unit 13!

Thanks Chris, you’re doing a fantastic job!

with the plus service now launching in eu i think its time for scee to push for 32gb cards to come out πŸ™‚

ill buy one as id rather have a 32gb to go with my 16gb card but if its not soon i guess another 16gb is what i will have to go for.

DrPhiill 13 November, 2012 @ 4:47 pm   101

Woohooo! i own the big titles like Uncharted and Gravity but im really glad to get discounts and the other 2 games as a plus member! πŸ˜€

Getting a Vita at the end of next week, a great time to jump into PS+ πŸ˜€

OMG this is great..

I was already happy for PS3 PS Plus.

But now, with Vita support, its really amazing.

So much content for such low price..

PS Plus is now almost mandatory for any PS3+PS Vita owners.

extermin8or_ 13 November, 2012 @ 4:50 pm   104

Ahh damn I already own uncharted and gravity rush; don’t regret buying them though; they were brilliant and I’m glad I didn’t wait on the offchance they would arrive in plus- I’m sure there will be more games don’t own in the future :p

ricey787 13 November, 2012 @ 4:50 pm   105

Are the 20% off titles likely to appear for free in the service any time soon? Wouldn’t want to buy at a discount and then get burned!

Ps-vita-gal 13 November, 2012 @ 4:51 pm   106

Hi guys,
Great uldate for people without unchRted and gravity rush(they are ammazin games),but i want to ask will there be wipeout 2048 comin out for ps plus cos the US have it???

i really hope all the people now stating they will be buying a vita are serious as if they are this will really give the platform a great boot at Christmas which will make dev’s take notice and in turn start to develop more titles for the platform.

Pepsi_Biofusion 13 November, 2012 @ 4:52 pm   108

Gravity Rush & Uncharted?!?!?! Holly smokes that’s insane, now who in their right mind would not get a Vita if they already have plus?

I’ve only been a PlayStation gamer for a couple of years and you’ve been doing a bang up job of making me incredibly ashamed and happy simultaneously, I was so wrong to doubt the Vita but now I have one and get the best of both worlds πŸ˜€ I’m not so sure I need Christmas anymore.

Many thanks for this awesome update πŸ™‚

The whole anouncement is kind of confusing.
The US has a clear video what to expect, when to expect it, etc.
Here in EU it’s like look we have this and stuf will change but when and how often etc is not clear. We have been waiting for this for very long and besides the awesome games and other services it’s unclear what to expect.
Love the games, hate the blogpost.

PIREDERAS 13 November, 2012 @ 4:55 pm   110

The VITA Plus is excellent news!

I want to ask a few things about VITA:

1. Bring on some cool apps, Android-style!
2. Let us play with VITA as a controller for PS3 games (no need for dual screen a la LBP2 dlc, just the buttons and the back touch which acts as R2/L2 and R3/L3), freeing us from the need to buy a 2nd DualShock (and please, let them sync without the need for a router, just ad hoc)!
3. The web browser needs to improve way too much in speed terms and page display…
4. Finally, give us a reasonably priced, bigger memory card. I have an 8 GB card (thought it would be just enough) and it’s already full! With the free games, it’s now obsolete!

Erroneus 13 November, 2012 @ 4:56 pm   111

We really need some bigger memory cards now, I wouldn’t mind paying for a 64GB even a 128GB, but we need to lower the prices on Vita memory cards.

128GB: 125$
64GB: 65$
32GB: 35$
16GB: 20$
8GB: 10$
4GB: .. why even bother.

Something like that.

almighty-slayer 13 November, 2012 @ 4:58 pm   112

Will it be possible to download the free games on the PS3 and then transfer them over? πŸ™‚

Chris, could you please share exact data how the Vita offers will rotate? As Ross managed too when the IGC got introduced.

He clearly said that 3 games rotate yearly, 6 are on a 2 month rotation and 1 game rotates monthly. With at least 4 PPP per year.

I expect a similar clear description here. And don’t just drop that info in a reply somewhere, edit the article too.

lagunareturns 13 November, 2012 @ 5:04 pm   114

PSPLUS is rubbish to me when I got those titles already….

i think for day one psvita owners like me they aiready has this games because is the best. Plus service is a good reason for those don’t have vita yet to buy now, aiready takes 100€ games the first month !!! i hope next monts for some newst games also i hope Sony lower the price for memory cards. 90€ for 32 gb is too much is two psvita or ps3 games is not fair

What about Little Big Planet in December? πŸ™‚ It can be great! Gravity rush… oh boy oh boy… πŸ™‚

Yeah the titles may be on in the future, but if we get something so will the us. We will always be playing catch up and get shafted again

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 5:09 pm   118

If my posts are not modded by a mod you would have m answer.

About the refresh of content answer me this chris how can our plus be better serve then the SCEA plus 5 vita 1 psp game = 6 games total 18 games.

Then there is our 14 games per month how comes 3 ps3 games + 4 vita games= 7 not 14.

CookieMonsterES 13 November, 2012 @ 5:09 pm   119

PS+ line-up for Vita is fantastic, you guys are doing a great job, Chris πŸ˜€

I have a quick question, if you were so kind to answer it, what do you mean with “The other two titles will change on a regular basis”? Could you be more precise?

The US blog announced 6 titles for Vita (and 12 for PS3) while we have 4 games for Vita (and 10 for PS3). There’s quite a noticeable difference there, especially as far as the Vita announcement refers, even more considering we can’t have a “US account” in our portable device without having to renounce to our regular account. Would be appreciated if you guys try your best so there’s no big difference between what they offer there and what we get here.

Happy days, nice work. Looking forward to playing Chronovolt
I love PS+ πŸ™‚

Just a shame it looks like the USA is getting a better deal at present.

Apelgrandure 13 November, 2012 @ 5:15 pm   121

all I can say is :
This is a great lineup and even though I have both Uncharted and Gravity rush im still excited!

@Chris Howe

i don’t care about all the free games cause they aren’t really free
waht i do care about is discounts, and i’d like 2 see a discount on these games Dynasty warriors NEXT, uncharted,Resistance: Burning Skies. also are you guys ever gonna make more psp games compatible with vita or any ps1 games cause unlike U.S here in europe you guysdon’t seem 2 care. zero psp games converted since vita launched.
ps1 compatibility was announced before it’s launched and we get 2 find out hardly no games are compatible.

Chocobo115 13 November, 2012 @ 5:16 pm   123

Shame on FFT, already have A PS1 & PSP copy, but I wouldn’t mind having it on Vita too ^^

several people ask if its possible to add vita titles to our ps3 download list to download at a later time on the vita and yet no one can be bothered to answer

its nice that some readers have commented on other posts and said you can but people would actually like confirmation from Sony that this is possible

Until when will uncharted vΓͺ available?

chrisboers 13 November, 2012 @ 5:23 pm   126

Excellent update! Even though I already have the ‘big ones’ Uncharted and Gravity Rush, they are way better than expected.
Well done! Also, two new games per month is excellent! Will be looking forward to the regular updates! πŸ™‚

Voodoo341 13 November, 2012 @ 5:25 pm   127

I don’t have a PS Vita and I’ve no intention of buying one. The content offered for the Vita is therefore entirely no good to me. Will I get a discount for the PS+ sub or extra content to make up for the offering that’s entirely useless to me?

Certinty 13 November, 2012 @ 5:25 pm   128

Definitely a lot more than I expected, but damn did the US get a lot! Wipeout AND Jet Set Radio as well as Gravity Rush and Uncharted! They’re so lucky!

blackgndrf 13 November, 2012 @ 5:25 pm   129

Really nice update, Thanks! πŸ˜€

The vita content could be activated through PS3 and downloaded later on the vita? I need a PS Vita πŸ™

While great news, especially with it being free on top of my current subscription.

I feel being an early adopter of the Vita has kind of backfired, looking at this and the US list along with some other titles that are Sony published that I imagine will become free eventually, I kind of regret buying the games, while I don’t have a lot of time to complete them and haven’t made it all the way through Uncharted and such I picked them up full price for them now to be free on something I am already paying for.
Bit of a waste of money really.

Still, nice to see, and having the save backup will take a lot of the pain away from installed games and such.

@ Voodoo341

why would you get a discount on plus your still getting exactly what you paid for when you took plus out the ps3 side of things is still exactly the same.

nothing is changing for you at all.

this is why some people say your trolling.

Great lineup of games, have not had a vita long so i have just Rayman Origins and AC3-Liberation.

I was hoping for psp titles as well seeing as the US have Final Fantasy Tactics this month, can we get a Final Fantasy title too maybe?

jasonleeds 13 November, 2012 @ 5:38 pm   133

Great we finally get ps+ but im really disappointed the US gets wipeout and we get Chronovolt, sorry but as always the US gets the better content

DavidK92 13 November, 2012 @ 5:39 pm   134

Just wondering, I don’t own a Vita but will I be able to download the games from the PS Store or it only for the Vita store

left4bread3 13 November, 2012 @ 5:39 pm   135

my question is as i dont have a vita will i be able to download the games (so they are in my DL list) so when i get a vita ill be able to download them. Btw im a ps plus subscriber πŸ™‚

Same old people complaining about nothing whatsover.

Makes you wonder why they actually own a PS3/Vita and pay for + doesn’t it?

undergroundgr 13 November, 2012 @ 5:46 pm   137

amazing.glad to be ps plus subscriber since day one.

bondington 13 November, 2012 @ 5:50 pm   138

Modnation racers road trip is currently on sale at Β£5.99 and my plan was to buy it today if it wasn’t one of the free games.

So it’s not one of the free games but it gets 20% discount when plus launches. As you said in a different post that the game will be on sale at Β£5.99 till the 21st when plus launches will we get a further 20% off Β£5.99 or 20% off the standard non sale price?

I know the extra saving would only be just over a quid but that’s still better than paying Β£5.99 and miles better than full price minus 20%

Meh… :/ Already have GR and Uncharted. Was hoping for Wipeout, but we got screwed again compared to the US.

Laventor 13 November, 2012 @ 5:50 pm   140

This is an amazing deal even for Vita only users. Despite owning 3 out of 4 of these games, I’m very happy to see it start off with these games. Great job!

For those complaining about it being less games than the US. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the European PS+ model rotates games out faster than the US does, which means that we don’t get less games than they do, we just don’t get more initially.

Demonized 13 November, 2012 @ 5:55 pm   141

Yeah, my Plus subscription just got ridiculously better! Now all I ask is for larger memory card options at reasonable prices.

I have a feeling as time goes on I am going to need to increase my Vita storage capacity exponentially!

Already own Uncharted, but the rest look great! Any chance you could provide Gravity Rush DLC at a discount or for free? I really appreciate the DLC deals for PS3, and it would be great if you could carry that over to the Vita.

Oh, and I’d be happy with the occasional high quality PSP title as well. Be cool if you could work in some less known stuff as well… Use Plus to sweeten the pot for smaller companies taking a risk by bringing over niche titles from Japan.

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 5:57 pm   143

If SCEE give out crap for food the SDF would gladly eat it all up, while the rest would not if any sense eat it that I feel about our inferior vita plus support & chris still hasn’t answer someone post who can it be better for us getting less then SCEA. 18 games in total both ps3 games & vita to our 14 games per month take us to over 65 games a year while SCEA get we’ll over 70 per year.

Yeah that makes total snese. Doesn’t it SCEE you logic FAILS.

ShinYagami13 13 November, 2012 @ 6:00 pm   144

Good evening Chris
i made this post couple of days back in the post about Novembers content and got no answer… (i m not saying you ignored it, i like to believe you probably didnt see it) so anyways here it is again
in hopes for a reply this time =)
“Hi Chris, i got a question for you since you are as your title says the Plus content manager…
I was really excited with the latest update as for the first time i didn’t already own any of the games offered, thing is though i own a 40gb ps3 and got really disappointed to find theres no way i can download and install R & C All 4 One as the space needed for the operation is 32gb and a 40gb ps3 (37 actually) has only 30gb of free space available after what is needed for it to run is taken out…
So my question is 40gb ps3 owners/plus subscribers are so few they are not even considered when picking a title for the next months update? Sorry for the long message but it feels like you guys are giving me the right lets say to download the game for free and at the same time you are taking it away from me with its prohibitely large size! I ll be waiting for a response on that, thanks in advance”

miguelpt84 13 November, 2012 @ 6:02 pm   145

Excellent news! =)

I already have and finished Uncharted but it’s a good excuse to get back and platinum it. Are the saves in the disk (card) version compatible with the digital version?

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 6:02 pm   146

But if you read above it states due to plus vita there be games longer then normal before they get refresh maybe we should have a vid like SCEA had to explain better. But it does not make any differs because there get a great square enix psp game that look god on a vita but like SCEE SE too like to shafted its EU fan base too.

#138 – MNR on the Vita will increase in price tomorrow – back to it’s full price. Then next week, when PS+ launches it will be reduced by 20%.

I’d say it’s best to get it now..

As for people saying we have been ‘shafted’ (seems to be the buzz word) by the US. No. No we haven’t. Those titles WILL be coming here, we just have to wait a little longer.

Skookie, shut the hell up. You really are like a broken record. A boring, slow, crappy record at that.

Gamesgbkiller 13 November, 2012 @ 6:08 pm   149

Solid games

Been looking forward for this since I got plus+

Thanks πŸ™‚

Kaffikjelen 13 November, 2012 @ 6:09 pm   150

Marvellous news! I and my brother bought Golden Abyss at launch, but I was disappointed that I was unable to get any trophies because my brother played it first. I haven’t bothered to buy another copy for the trophies alone, so this news is most welcome. And Gravity Rush for free? Huzzah!

RossyWilson 13 November, 2012 @ 6:09 pm   151

@ShinYagami13 You could buy a bigger hard disk for your ps3 and upgrade it yourself. I did it and upgraded to a 1tb hdd. Its really easy to install aswell. IGN posted a video on their youtube channel telling you how to do it.

dude i think its time to invest in a larger hdd.

as a plus member 40gb is never going to be enough for you, have a look online and im sure you will find a good deal on a reasonably sized hdd.

there also really easy to swap over, i think its your only real option tbh.

Laventor 13 November, 2012 @ 6:11 pm   153

@ Skookie30: EU PS+ rotates games out faster than the US does. The US at any one time does have more games available AT ONCE, yes, but since EU rotates faster we get equal the games. It’s a different model, but you don’t get less games. SCEE’s logic works fine, you just need to understand what’s going on.

i bought tactics back when all the final fantasy stuff was on sale and i can tell you its not so great on vita just like it was not so great on the psp.

the game suffers from very bad slowdown in places and its not a great port imo.

personally id rather just have 100% vita games on plus, sales on psp games would be nice but i like trophy’s personally so id like them to stick to vita titles

newKlear1 13 November, 2012 @ 6:14 pm   155

Can u plz confirm if we can add these vita titles to our cart on ps3 psn store and download it on the vita later?

Am I the only one that prefer the EU games than the US ?
US get three retail games, that most already ahve, I am prety sure if wipeout was for free, we would have more whinning.
On the other hand, we get a new game that noone has and before anyone complains about it beeing a puzzle game, you can’t please everyone’s taste.
Also those are just the first games, O bet that we will see more retail games for free, just have patience.

Before anyone says anything, I don’t own wipeout and i would love to have it.

Considering that Sony does not charge more for those games, if you already have PSN+, they are tottaly free and for that a big thank you πŸ™‚

nextbigthing91 13 November, 2012 @ 6:15 pm   157

This is why I love PlayStation!
One seriously happy gamer right now =D

Copy and paste this..

Boycott? LOL. Do me a favour.

danielm1979 13 November, 2012 @ 6:18 pm   159

I feel more and more punished for early adapting. I’m quitting this service as I still prefer to have games physical. It was a nice time though for what is was.

chalky83 13 November, 2012 @ 6:21 pm   160

@127 – congratulations your post made me laugh xD

You still get the same content you happily signed up for, this is extra, so I don’t know why you think you should be entitled to any sort of discount.

problem is SCEE ignores any feedback it’s pointless cause SCEE is pointless no improvement 5 years running failure off the year.
missing content going into about over a 100 content. ignoring ppl whenever there is a real question. and VITA backwards compatible was alrdy a lie cause it doesen’t work on all ps1 games and hardly any psp games on psn and no more coming cause SCEE thinks bringing games 2 psn is a waste off time.

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 6:24 pm   162

So basically it’s i’m allright Jack, tough luck your Not a vita/plus owner.. Funny how ppl see what they want to.. how can anyone seriously say non vita plus subscribers aren’t losing out, ?.. true they’ll still get what they’re getting now, but come 21st when they see others getting, is it Β£80 worth of extra stuff, ?..but because they’re not into handhelds, they get Nothing, thats disgusting, really is, But reading peoples replies to them, that is worse, just reminds me of totally heartless and greedy bullies, in a vita owners gang, laughing in others faces, you all just take the biscuit.. also one of these people had the nerve to post about, how unfair it is IF modnation was free, cos they’d just bought it.. bet if you hadn’t realised you made mistake about that item You would not be so pleased, i mean 5.99 for modnation isn’t fair, but non-vita owners watching you get Β£80plus of extras is ok.. just says everthing about scee defenders.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 6:25 pm   163

14 games minimum (10 PS3 games + 4 Vita games) in the Instant Games Collection at all times.

Hope that makes it a little more clear.

LOL!! Are you serious?!? You really think that just because you do not own a Vita then you should get some sort of discount or extra content on your PS3 PLUS content?!?

You have been a PLUS subber for a while now. LONG before PS+ for the Vita was even announced!!

Trolling much!?!

As for other people moaning about the service.

I own all the games apart from Chronovolt and I think the service is excellent!!

If you are a PLUS subber already for the PS3 then surely anything for the Vita is a pure bonus?!?

I think some people just love to complain.

@Chris Howe
You could have made EVERY vita game free for a month and people would still complain about some part of the service!!

People who don’t own a Vita and feel the need to complain about the added Vita PLUS deals etc and think they are owed something are really pathetic!!

JadoreSox 13 November, 2012 @ 6:27 pm   164

That’s a great selection of vita titles but i have them all except chronovolt. I even have all the 20% off titles. I guess there just isn’t that many titles to choose from. I was really hoping for wipeout at least. I hope to see some psp titles and ps1 classics added to mix it up a bit.

stathmos 13 November, 2012 @ 6:27 pm   165

do you need an Internet connection to play PS+ games, because I don’t have one at my summer home?

#162 – Seriously???

kaori714 13 November, 2012 @ 6:30 pm   167

Good news, but please there is a big problem for the cloud, because the saves can’t be separated from the game or DLC !

Eg, my save of Ridge Racer = 2Go, WipEout 2048 = 750 Mo !!!!

Please report this problem.

chalky83 13 November, 2012 @ 6:31 pm   168

@162 – If you don’t have a Vita you are still getting the same amount of content you originally signed up for. If they reduced the amount of PS3 games and replaced them with Vita games then you’d have a point, but they didn’t. You are also forgetting that Vita owners have already given Sony about Β£200 more than you have by actually buying the console πŸ˜‰

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 6:31 pm   169

I cannot believe some of you out there are actuly begrudging Vita owners getting some PS+ loving!!!

It in NO WAY affects what you will get as a none Vita owners!!

liverbird001 13 November, 2012 @ 6:32 pm   170

This is fantastic news been a playstation plus member since almost day one and the service has been incredible, the addition of ps vita plus is also great news i have just purchased a vita with a 32gb memory card. I was planning on buying uncharted golden abyss but there’s no neeed now! This is a fantastic service thank you for bringing it to us and keep up the great work. πŸ™‚

as your clearly talking about me i feel i should address your point.

i asked about modnation because of some confusion i had regarding the blog post, the only reason i asked about it was because of something that chris directly said on the sales post.

if you look at the rest of the comments i was already saying good things about the service before chris responded to me and to be fair im glad he did because he also stated later that discounted titles will not later become free titles which is a good thing.

how are vita owners greedy bullies we are the ones that put our hands into our pockets and bought the console and if sony see fit to include extra content at NO EXTRA COST and ps3 only users DONT GET LESS CONTENT whats the problem.
instead of crying about what you dont get how about you focus on what you do get which is at least 45 full ps3 games and that will continue.

i also already own uncharted for vita and i have not once complained about it being free for plus.

Great opporunity to finally grab a PS Vita!
Just wanted to ask if there’s a possibility of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift being included in either Vita’s or PS3’s Plus? Pretty please?

So do we need to be a PS+ member before the 21st November to get the games?
Or we can join on the last day of the offer and get to download the games?
Want to join PS+ as late as possible.

and i have supported the vita TWICE as my first vita was robbed from me at knifepoint and i had to wait a few months to get the funds together to buy another.

why wait, go to the playstation access facebook page and get a 1 month free trial and you can start now.

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 6:40 pm   177

Oh I didn’t really notice the slow down was it on the cutscenes I haven’t played much further in hayzink so far I having seen any.

Trophies are not the only thing make a great game btw they get 5 vita to our 4 so you want just vita games well they got 5 vita games.

1 psp game will make me happy it feels complete having all Sony games part of plus.

I got the iPad version of FFT that too may have slowdown but don’t forget it a port of a ps1 classic just tidy up a bet with cartoon cutscenes with Voice overs.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 6:41 pm   178

Anyway I’m chuffed that PLUS has come to Vita and I hope it really helps to boost the sales of the great console.

I just need to get myself a bigger memory card for the coming months (subbed up to Jan 2014).

That is my only complaint about the Vita. The cost of the memory cards but hopefully over time the content from PS+ Vita will offset the cost of the cards.

Cheers for a great PLUS service (for PS3 and Vita).

SCEE still make a load of mistakes and they have a terrible customer service standard in general
BUT PS PLUS is one area that they actually really do excel themselves πŸ˜€

alexparty125 13 November, 2012 @ 6:44 pm   179

Can you download the ps+ games on the ps3 until i get the ps vita?

its actually the attack animations that suffer really bad lag and slowdown which can be rather annoying.

i think we will end up getting wipeout and the other stuff possibly just next month and whats to say they wont add new content on the first wed of next month like they do with ps3.

You dont need internet to play the games, unless your PSN+ account expires, so you need it to renew it.

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 6:46 pm   182

At vita owners, all you said is true, it still doesn’t give people the right to ‘slap down’ others, What will i be getting then comments..
At the guy saying i am begrudging some vita-love, yes But your doing same thing to ordinary plus-subbers, Why shouldn’t they get Something, i mean there is games that work on both platforms, either through remote play, Ico and Shadow of Colussus, or other cross-platforms.. like i said i am more upset with how peoples requests for additional content as well. is seemingly being explained away or ridiculed.

ShinYagami13 13 November, 2012 @ 6:46 pm   183

dude i m unemployed and cant really go into expenses right now
the games given from plus was all i expected to play but anyway i didn’t have any problem over the previous months and what you are saying is that in order to enjoy the service i paid for i should buy a hdd or a new ps3 lol
instead of every 40gb ps3 owner buying a hdd wouldnt it be easier if they just thought about it in the first place?

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 6:47 pm   184

* I also am a day 1 buyer of FFT too just past the 1st quarter in. Got a load of games & I can’t get CODbo2 till Xmas or never but I see paying off the Sony HD telly and ipad2 lol πŸ˜€

RoninDennis 13 November, 2012 @ 6:47 pm   185

Seriously, if you didn’t see

a) sudden resentment against Vita owners, and
b) people complaining why SCEE didn’t know that they just bought the game added to the instant game collection,

coming, well, you probably don’t go out much.

As for me, I say: fantastic line-up! Had anticipated Blob, didn’t see Uncharted coming, and Rush was a no-brainer. I’m a proud owner of Rush, as should be every mortal with a Vita. One of the best games in years, and I’ve been going back since 1984. Great that every new owner can experience it from the go.

So calm yo axe down, compulsive Vita haters back off, and let the good times roll!

with the change in focus to more full bluray titles i think you will face this prob more and more going forward.

i dont think the 40gb was on sale that long was it? so it is possible that like you say they have not fully considered 40gb users.

my comment was in no way meant to be bad or nasty i was just suggesting a bigger hdd was the way to go.

why wait, go to the playstation access facebook page and get a 1 month free trial and you can start now.

I already got Uncharted and Gravity Rush.
Also I have the free trial. Want to see whats up for next month.
So do you need to be a PS+ member before 21st November to get these 4 games?

No, the games will be available for around a month. The 2 bigger games will be around longer.

it wont matter if you wait a month as uncharted and gravity rush will stick around longer.

just like lbp 2 , infamous 2 and motorstorm are constantly free for ps3.

I don’t have a PS3 so do PS3 get 2 big games that stick around longer and 2 mini games?
Like in October you got Bulletstorm and RE?

Spectacular! PS Plus is actually the best thing I’ve ever bought for any PlayStation.

Very impressed, all we need now is for Vita memory cards to be priced more realistically so we can afford enough storage for the PS Plus bounty.

yulian_20 13 November, 2012 @ 7:07 pm   192

i dont have a vita -.- so basically this is (CENSORED)

MordecaiHunter 13 November, 2012 @ 7:09 pm   193

vita line up is very good, Great Value for money, Will there be any Plus 1 year discounts upcoming ? i will stack them up 😎

think its time for another memory card
(Which i hate giving money to sony for)

ShinYagami13 13 November, 2012 @ 7:09 pm   194

dont worry didnt think you were trying to get bad or nasty on me lol
but 40gb ps3s have been out for a very long time
since 2007 i have changed 3 and with the 2nd being out of warranty what they do in the “service” is give you the same model you got to them reconstructed at a lower price… so as you can see i kind of got stuck with a 40gb one lol
like i said before i think there is a number of 40gb ps3 owners and people responsible for plus content should take that under consideration just that!
just to make clear i m not nagging for giving stuff i already own or giving vita owners stuff lol i just want what i paid for without having to pay extra for a bigger hdd or a new ps3 =)

ShinYagami13 13 November, 2012 @ 7:13 pm   196

thx for the advice but thats not my problem as u probably figured out already from my previous comments and btw thats a video that shows how to change the hdd of a slim ps3 lol i got a 40gb FAT one =)

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 7:14 pm   197

No I won’t shut up picking on me again run out of ppl to morn at ppl morning you shut the hell up.

Contine that trend you too be blacklisted that I was criticise them.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 7:17 pm   198

I own a PS3 and a Vita. I’ve been a PLUS subber for well over a year now.

Who has been “slapped down” by the way?? I must have missed that!?

People have spent a lot of money on their handheld devices and you really have a problem with Sony rolling out the PLUS service to the owners of one of their consoles?!?

So why can’t PLUS be for PS3 AND Vita then?? You still haven’t given a reason why you begrudge Vita owners some PLUS loving???

You sir/madam are a VERY petty person!!

Like I said earlier.

darkdudes_2 13 November, 2012 @ 7:17 pm   199

I Love Sony so mush <3
You are just Amazing *-*
I already played Gravity Rush and it is for me after Little Big Planet Vita the BEST VITA GAME!!!
I love to play uncharted next week πŸ˜€
One Question^^
Will we see next year Assassins Creed Liberation in the Instant Game Collection?^^

2- if you dont have a ps vita can you add content to the download list and download it later on?

Skookie, are you aware of the English Language at all? Maybe you should use it as I have no idea what you are saying 90% of the time. Which, I guess isn’t too bad as I don’t have to read your utter nonsense and constant whining over things that border on insane.

Alienshade 13 November, 2012 @ 7:20 pm   202

You are to great sony!

SuperJag86 13 November, 2012 @ 7:20 pm   203

Hi Chris,
I just wanted to say that if you included brill PSP titles like Resistance or Motorstorm Arctic Edge I wouldn’t be disappointed at all πŸ˜‰

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 7:20 pm   204

@vita owners.
just to clear my posts up some, i bought my vita on 22/2.. unchatredGA, 16GB mem, And cos it was 3g i got wipeout2048, cost around Β£320, and so i kind of feel i am entitled to an opinion about it. now i sold my purchase 2 months later, i believe i got choice, Β£115 cash, or Β£145 trade, i opted for trade, so, even though i do not own a vita anymore, i also have paid about Β£200, just to answer a above point, and yes, i am a vita hater.. But NOT because you are getting extras, i Can see others taking this veiw so it’s a fair enough point. I was also till september a day1 plus subber, so i feel i have payed scee enough to have voiced my opinions. i stopped renewing plus because i am Not a casual gamer, i couldn’t and cannot see any future, for myself in plus, since IGC started.

All i want is for you lucky vita/plus owners to try and see it from both sides, and If you still feel this is 100% fair, then at least show some understanding to the people who are upset, or feel their getting a raw deal. Surely it isn’t asking That much.

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 7:22 pm   205

Okay it does not matter if we get more content later on say chris example I’m not morning it the facts.

Say we got 14 titles and we got 4 extras titles like treats in later that same month that be 18 titles in all.

But SCEA too must have mid treats too so they have 18 titles plus a further 4 in the end they still get more content whatever SCEE & other ppl dress it up they still get more content I remember they had more discounts then us too.

Voodoo341 13 November, 2012 @ 7:23 pm   206

Ohhhh brilliant… I now get free games that I’ve paid for on a system I don’t own. This is just fantastic!!!

Skookie30 13 November, 2012 @ 7:24 pm   207

Go troll somewhere else as I did not name you out other ppl can understand you just picking for a fight troll.

How are people upset by this news exactly???

D_O_G_87 13 November, 2012 @ 7:26 pm   209

When is the heads up coming?

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 7:26 pm   210

I don’t begrudge anyone getting anything for free (sort of free as it is the price of the subscription).

Where have you got the idea from that I begrudge PS3 owners (of which I am by the way) from getting something free I really don’t know!?!

Please point out where exactly I have moaned or complained about anyone on any platform getting anything for free.

Oh that’s right. I didn’t and never will…..

PS PLUS is a great service for the PS3 and now the Vita.

That is a GOOD THING

Jog on fella

@ post 204 aka another_gamer195

Nope, no understanding. This is 100% fair. You made your choice for buying and trading in for your reasons.

Upset over what? Because something is not for you and you made a wrong purchase in your opinion? Happens all the time mate. Be glad you didn’t buy a Ferrari you didn’t like and had to sell.

PS+ is the best thing since sliced bread. Or at least, a lot better than Xbox Live. Can’t understand why I paid for that for years when I see what PS+ offers these days

People really don’t get it do they? You are getting the exact same service you already had and paid for on the PS3. The extra Vita stuff is a bonus for Vita owners. It takes nothing, NOTHING away from PS+ on the PS3.

Stop being pathetic

“Posted on 13 November, 2012 at 7:23 pm by Voodoo341
Ohhhh brilliant… I now get free games that I’ve paid for on a system I don’t own. This is just fantastic!!!”

Now if you wouldn’t get your PS3 games anymore, which you will that would be right.

But this stuff is just getting thrown on top of that. You have bought PS+ when it was just PS3 only, so you haven’t paid for it in any way thinkable.

Stop the crying. Man I think these are all 360 owners trolling the PS Blog while they cry in a corner over paying 60 bucks for just playing online.

artopand 13 November, 2012 @ 7:30 pm   214

Well done Sony, you just convinced a few million ps3 owners and ps plus subscribers to get a vita! ps plus is the best thing Sony’s ever done.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 7:31 pm   215

I’m with you FRODO. I just do not understand how ANYONE can complain about this extra aspect to the PS PLUS service!?!

Seems folk are bitter about people getting free stuff it seems.

Very pathetic indeed and I really don’t get how it affects none Vita owners one little bit?!

They still get the exact same service they signed up for!?!

Voodoo341 13 November, 2012 @ 7:35 pm   216

Who’s complaining? I’m soooo happy I’m getting free paid for stuff that I can’t use. It’s just amazing!

You didn’t pay for it you tool.

TINTIN, people just love to troll – esp Voodoo who has to be one of the most sad and pathetic types this place has.

@ Voodoo

You must be a 5 year old. If you want to use the free stuff you don’t pay extra for, buy a PSVita.

You are a 360 user that is hurt though, so much is very obvious.

jetpacksheep 13 November, 2012 @ 7:40 pm   219

It would be great if someone could answer this

I have Uncharted and Gravity Rush retail already, can I back up my save files using the content manager to PC or PS3 and use these save files for the digital PS+ versions?

AsmodeanBT 13 November, 2012 @ 7:40 pm   220

Until I get control of my own -ing XMB and you stop spamming MY XMB I’m not buying ****.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 7:41 pm   221

Aah now we get to the truth.

You had a Vita and sold it for whatever reason.

That was your choice, which you now regret and are all bitter and twisted towards anything good happening in the world of Vita.

Pathetic person indeed!!!

Yes it’s 100% clear now.

Still 100% fair.

willard_white 13 November, 2012 @ 7:41 pm   222

Great the first 2 games i brought for the vita just love wasting my money
hopefully there`ll be someones i haven’t brought still good news tho

Voodoo341 13 November, 2012 @ 7:41 pm   223

LMAO…. if you want to use the free stuff you don’t pay extra… just buy a Β£200 PSVita + Β£40 memory card!

I’ve heard you can use saves from retail versions on digital versions mate. Not sure if it’s true, but that’s what I heard.

Voodoo, seriously… give it a rest. As a PS3 and PS+ subscriber on the PS3 you are losing out on nothing – the service remains 100% the same as what you signed up for.

Now move on.

lagunareturns 13 November, 2012 @ 7:47 pm   226

Retro City Rampage
Where is it?

Time to not react on the Voodoo troll anymore

Sad 360 owners will always be there.

PS+ has amazed me, got it with the 25% discount in October only paying 37.50 Euro for a year, it is win!

Yeah, cos RCR is on topic. Well done.

personally I don’t mind that vita users are going to be getting “more” than me for a month or two all I and seemingly other people want is confirmation from Sony that yes adding to the download list on the ps3 means we can download to the vita at a later date

you can do that with the psp – except for the mini pick and mix which never worked and nearly a year later I can’t play those games on my psp

having said that I can’t understand why some psp titles weren’t added to the games there is an incredibly large back catalogue of games available that would more than make-up for the fact that there haven’t been loads of releases on the vita as of yet – and who cares if they don’t have trophies? really there are more important things in the world that hearing a little ping and some quasi little notice of a supposed job well done

This is great news and a very good move from Sony.
I have 3 of the 4 games already, but thats just the way it goes.

I would like to know if I back up my saves from Gravity Rush and Uncharted, can I then download the free digital copy and then pick up my save again?
If so then I will trade in my retail copies against another new Vita game, so it wouldn’t be too bad.

This has been asked a few times in this blog post, so an answer from the PSN Blog Team would be great.

JadoreSox 13 November, 2012 @ 7:53 pm   231

Its kinda like spitting in the face of early vita adopters. This is a great deal to entice you to go out and get a vita now but anyone who has had a vita for awhile will have uncharted and gravity rush. They’re the best games the vita has to offer and will likely continue to be for the foreseeable future.

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 7:53 pm   232

@ TinTin.
whats with you ?.
are you going to tell all other vita owners from March they were/are Pathetic too ?. or do you not have the stomach for a real debate, ?. You did own yours back then ?.. only if My memory serves EVERYONE complained or were unhappy with vita, for Multitudes of reasons,, and jog on, haha.. Do one, your not chattin to No jerhn-hdr.. try lookin accross river.. in fact jump on ferty/train and Tell me to jog on.. pathetic, then Stop lookin at ur reflection.

Those that say they own the games already on gamecard, just sell them!

That is what I gonna do with Uncharted, and put that money towards LittleBigPlanet on PSVita

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 7:56 pm   234

watching the video posted on the US blog about Vita PLUS and the big 2.0 update is quite informative.

Looks like you can use the content manager and you PC/laptop wireless rather than having to hook it up via the USB cable.

Content manager also has the ability to just back up save files only as well as the old entire file which was/is a pain if you have got digital copies of any games.

Hope we get the email function too.

Content manager looks loads more user friendly with the 1gb of extra Vita cloud saves as an option.

Things are looking up for Vita owners

Utter rubbish. The Vita has better games already. Tolling won’t win you friends.

spud1410 13 November, 2012 @ 7:59 pm   236

Is there any chance lumines will be discounted or even free as its the one game for the vita I would like many thanks keep up the good stuff

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 8:09 pm   237

I have had my Vita since launch so there goes your argument flying out of the window and as an early adopter I am very happy with my purchase.

NO regrets at all.

I play it everyday

I didn’t complain at all so not everyone complained about their purchase.

My only gripe has been the memory card prices but they have come down in price loads lately.

I take it you did moan about your purchase (you must have hated it to sell it) hence your bitterness towards Vita owners new and old getting anything free.

I own all the games apart from the Chronovolt game already but anything I get from Vita PLUS is a bonus as I have a PS3 with PLUS too.

The Vita is a marathon, not a sprint. The PS3 took years to take off properly.

Right I’m off to play on my brilliant handheld an leave you to stew in your bitterness…

bennyrafal 13 November, 2012 @ 8:10 pm   238

Do i will have an access to those games on my PS3s store? or i need Vita to see them?

Awesome news finally!, I’m very intrested to find out how the 1gb vita saves will work aswell, I hope it will work for all games also those wich stores on card, and that you eventually can upload from card, sell it and eventually buy a new later and the savegame will work on aonther card?…

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 8:12 pm   240

Β£200 for vita, only if you want new one.. have seen them going for 120ish, but only with 6 month warrenty.. i Will buy another, IF they implememt the SOLE reason i bought first.. back then i wanted to play KZ3 remotely, but now i finished that, maybe next decent game i would like to play remote.. but by time that happens, if ever ps4/xbox720 will be around, so vita should cost under Β£100 or abouts..

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 8:13 pm   241

out of the first 4 games for Vita PLUS the only one I don’t own is Chronovolt

another_gamer – if you bought a Vita based on something that Sony NEVER announced as a feature, more fool you.

I doubt we’ll ever see it – most PS3 games won’t map to the Vita well, plus you then have lag to contend with. It’s just not a decent system – look at Youtube and you’ll see hackers have it working but it’s laggy as hell.

SirTodge 13 November, 2012 @ 8:17 pm   243

Absolutely excellent deal, I’m not even mad that SCEA get a few more games because I have faith that SCEE will be adding plenty of cool stuff over the next few months.

Keep it up!

KylieDog 13 November, 2012 @ 8:18 pm   244

I don’t own a Vita, it is possible for me to ‘purchase’ these on my PS3 and then, say next year, use them on a Vita if I buy one?

Short version: Do we need a Vita -now- to add these to the list of games in our PS+ sub.

CoolRichy008UK 13 November, 2012 @ 8:19 pm   245

YE WAT SKOOKIE30 said shut the hell up picking on me as well just cz i praze ps home 1 week then moan nxt week or moan about ps store etc if u lot (NO NAMES) dont like moaners just shut up or dont read the comment honestly skookie30 is right sum of u lot r kids im glad i ignore the 1s on here who keep havin ago at me 4 no reason just cz i moan just grow up…. oh and skookie30 anyone moans at you just ignore them

Seeing as there is a Vita store on the PS3 store, I’d say you should be able to access Vita + games, and use the PS3 to purchase/download them for transfer to the Vita via Content Manager.

LordBlackKnight5 13 November, 2012 @ 8:21 pm   247

Wipeout 2048? why does US get it for free, and not the EU?

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 8:22 pm   248

If you had done any research before buying the Vita then you would have realised the KZ3 thing was a staged tech demo and was NEVER a promised feature for the PS Vita.

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 8:26 pm   249

Last question, tell me why your assuming i am bitter and twisted. because vita is now getting ‘some’ attention. what have i said for you to conclude that ?.. i couldn’t really care about vita until it lets me properly play my ps3 games from anywhere. like it advertised it would.
My one and only problem here is the Total lack of human compassion, understanding that ‘some’ users have posted.. but as your now off to play your handheld, i guess i will have to wait till tomorrow, to see whether or not you’ll answer me civility, or group me with the raving loonies group and reply with more (un-called for) insults.. well like you, i have a appointment, in Pandora.

CoolRichy, brilliant English. Well done.

F3l1xbxb 13 November, 2012 @ 8:35 pm   251

Great news, but unfortunately we get less than the USA version… but is cool anyway, my 16gb card will love to get new content.

Good thing this has finally come, but I’m disappointed they can release this and still not a word on CSGO, it’s been months now.

As for the content, I obviously already have Golden Abyss. Gravity Rush on the other hand, was never even remotely interested in it. Not too bad though for someone buying a Vita now, price is a little cheaper (more so if you grab one second hand) and now a couple extra games to start you off. Gonna be a (CENSORED) swapping games on the memory card but I refuse to pay those extortionate prices for them (got mine in a bundle so it wasn’t as much).

Now if only SCEE could get their act together and tell us about CSGO.

@217 You did pay for it, you tool. You paid for plus therefore you paid for this content.

@222 It’s bought* not brought*, how the hell you can confuse those two words is beyond me.

IvanSlavkov 13 November, 2012 @ 8:46 pm   253

That’s Great, just bought my Vita and i’m loving it so far. Got Uncharted GA and Motorstorm RC for starter. I was thinking on renewing my + subscription after the holidays, but now i’m picking it up, first thing tomorrow. I’ve just one question, is there any chance for Sony to put more accurate way to check your battery life, maybe through some FW update ? At this state, it’s a pain in the …

Bless, Voodoo needs somebody to fight his corner for him.

What I was trying to point out was that he is STILL paying the same amount of money for the SAME content he was already receiving. The Vita stuff is a bonus on top of that price.

So essentially he’s not paid anything for the Vita stuff he can’t use.

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 8:52 pm   255

@vita owners.
just to clear my posts up some, i bought my vita on 22/2.. unchatredGA, 16GB mem, And cos it was 3g i got wipeout2048, cost around Β£320, and so i kind of feel i am entitled to an opinion about it. now i sold my purchase 2 months later, just to answer a above point,

You come across as VERY bitter!! If you are not then why are you even here complaining about a service that has no affect on you in the slightest???

A “Vita hater” to boot!!

Have fun in Pandora (I do honestly mean that too).

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 9:06 pm   256

@ TinTin
about the remote play and KZ3, i think you made mistake. or the tech demo you refered to is/was just a way of ps advertising what ‘could’ be possible, not what is.. before loggin out i noticed your post about my Not doing .. enough research.. so i just Had to watch the video i downloaded in January.. cross-play or similar is title.. starts with Dungeon Hunter Allience, showing someone pause ps3 vers, then continue on from vita. then it advertises wipeout, like playing mates on there ps3 vers, from your vita, it then ends with KZ3 ingame footage, on vita screen, and voiceover basically leading Me to think, i can play that from anywhere.. Is this promotional video the tech demo you spoke of ?.. if So that is so wrong/misleading, But if it isn’t then is it possible you have made mistake.. and i Did’nt get what this video ‘made out’ i would. but whichever it is, yes, at the time dropping nearly 200 wasn’t very nice, But that was Long time ago and well forgotten.. ok, Now i can go try lvl up some more, Brdelnds2.

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 9:10 pm   257

oh, Wish i would of seen Tghat Before i made last post..
ok, i am a vita hater, who likes reading ps-blog.. of course i should be stoned. and the kid/fella calls me bitter..just stop diggin m8.

uberkakis 13 November, 2012 @ 9:18 pm   258

I’ve been staring at the screen for a few minutes with my jaw firmly planted on the floor. This. Is. Insane!

I will now be getting a Vita.

Glorious work guys and gals – I’m pretty sure you blew all our expectations out of the water!

I don’t know why I keep checking the American blog, it always makes me feel like we are getting the short end of the stick. Because we are:
“PS Plus members will be able to download the Instant Game Collection, which includes PS Vita games Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Jet Set Radio HD, WipEout 2048, Gravity Rush and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!, as well as (PSP) PlayStation Portable hit Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.”

Jet Set Radio HD, WipEout 2048 and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. Three games that the USA costumers get, although we pay the same as they do.

It’s so sad that, even when Sony does well, there is always something (3 things, in this case) wrong πŸ™

mandeep100 13 November, 2012 @ 9:23 pm   260

when jet set radio comes out the following week after the US launch will the game be free on ps plus for us in europe also? sorry if this has already been asked. Great start to ps plus on vita, cant wait.

also any news on a netflix app for the vita here in europe, the US have had it for ages, so jealous!

It is a great offer indeed. But I can`t help feeling annoyed about allready having bought the games we get. I bought the VITA at release, but sony have utterly dissapointed me. I have not bought the mentioned Jet Set Radio HD, but it seems like we in EU wont get that -.-

Tomand71 13 November, 2012 @ 9:30 pm   262

Wow, you guys have really put a lot of effort into making this the best opneing package possible!

There`s no doubt this will affect the Vita`s sales as well, as some of the greatest games for the Vita are here. Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush are probably two of the first games any Vita-owner would buy, and if you continue such great support it will kind of compensate for the expensive memory cards to a certain degree. This is definitely just what the Vita needs right now! Excellent work!

Thanks for Gravity Rush btw! It looks amazing!

FrIeD-GoAt 13 November, 2012 @ 9:31 pm   263

well looks like I just get rollyball game, Have everything else.

These two games are the best the vita has to offer at the moment!
Only problem whit that is: Everybody who already owns a vita has these two games…
How about appealing to us who already bought your handheld too?!?
This is the list for NA:

Uncharted: Golden Abyss
WipEout 2048
Gravity Rush
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
Jet Set Radio
And the PSP title Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

So much better! Even some games to attract the ones who already bought the Vita and the two top games…
Take care of your loyal customers Sony!

So much better? Not really.. 1 extra Vita game that I bet will be released in the next week or so (they have hinted at surprises after launch). 1 HD remake in the form of Jet Set Radio, that will also probably be part of + in the coming weeks, and an old PSP game, which, and lets be fair here, if it had been announced here people would have complained about – it’s a Vita, release some Vita games, not old PSP games.

So SCEE can’t do right for wrong really.

All I can say is that the staff have made it quite clear that this list of games isn’t the final list and surprises will come.

who’s “diggin”??

I just don’t get why you (and a few others) seem to really dislike the fact that Vita owners are getting PS PLUS!?!

As for the KZ3 thing. Advertisers have a strict ream of laws they HAVE to abide by. If Sony have lied then surely you should be taking them to court.

Oh wait a minute they NEVER promised remote play as a feature for PS3 games.

If you believe everything you see in adverts then more fool you!!

I and all my fellow Vita friends knew that KZ3 was not supported by remote play. A tiny bit of research would have told you this.

You seem to have Cross-Play and Remote-Play mixed up. They are two completely different things.

I am going to leave it there now as I’m getting dizzy going round in all these circles!!

Who buys a new console as an early adopter and then sells it after 2 months anyway??

Your choice but far from a good move!!!

TINTINTB303 13 November, 2012 @ 9:44 pm   267

^^ @another_gamer ^^

Great addition to the service even though I have 3 of the 4 titles on offer already, what my main concern is the memory cards, I currently have the 32gig card in my vita which simply isn’t enough space. Now that plus has come to the handheld, Sony seriously need to consider making bigger memory cards available and more importantly more affordable.

I think cheaper memory cards, and of course bigger ones are going to happen soon. Don’t fancy constantly downloading and deleting software.

Sorry, but i feel a slight ‘Trollin’ spell coming on, ‘take care of your loyal Customers, sony’. first off, once sony have our custom/loyalty, we stop being customers, instead we are looked on as ‘commodities’, second, it seems the Euro markets buyers are referred to as Consumers, while the USA buyers are titled Customers, i guess it isn’t a total Troll post, i mean it is common knowledge about the Consumers/Customers bit, a mis-sent sony memo, from high up actually said this, a few months back.. the first part, once they have our money, ha. well it Does seem that the less you spend, the More sony wish to reward you, Very strange way of Keeping majority happy, But there ones running the multi-million pound business, not me, so i suppose they know what there doing, you know, manoeuvring some pieces to hopefully claim check mate..much more My outlook than ‘sprints and marathons’.

Shut up.

Great games! It’s a shame I already own Uncharted and Gravity Rush :/
Can we expect to get Wipeout in the future? Please πŸ˜€

‘ I Have NO problems at all with my vita
except the price of memory cards.. which is it ?.. ps Please read my post and tell me why you believe i hate vita ‘owners’.. or are you that involved with your Toy, you take offence if others don’t feel same as you ?.
Lastly, i downloaded the above remote/KZ3 Video, from the Playstation Store, so just how will they go about sueing themselves ?.. wait, Please do not answer, Eve, you think your going round in Circles.

I just saw(on another site) that the PSVita internet browser will get a update to, on the v2.00 update. Hopefully it will be as good as most Smart-phones out there now πŸ˜›

Going by your odd rant a few comments up I’ll go now and leave you with your bitter outlook on all things Sony.

I think your going to implode in yourself.

Go lie down in a dark room until you feel better.

When you feel better then re-read my last post.

It said “YOU should take them to court”

Plus YOU said that you hated the Vita. I never said you hated Vita owners!!

You have clearly lost it so I’ll leave you to it.

Night night.

Amazing, keep up!

another_gamer195 13 November, 2012 @ 10:35 pm   280

good, i really Want to question more of your points, but i can see that there is neither no way of civil replies, and you allways need to have last word, so i will just say the sky is bl.. any colour You say, and bid you farewell.

Fernestar 13 November, 2012 @ 10:42 pm   281

This can only be described as outstanding value. Only bummer will be that I need to pick up an overpriced memory card. However, the amount I will be saving on games makes it almost a non issue

ChunkyDroid 13 November, 2012 @ 10:43 pm   282

Well well well, Uncharted! Never played an Uncharted game before. Getting this for free might sway me to go get the three PS3 games, so I can take in the full story πŸ™‚

Tei_LeonIV 13 November, 2012 @ 10:54 pm   283

OMG, you spoil guys!!! ^_^

Can I make some suggestions for December Vita PS plus? GOW HD collection, Jack and Daxter HD , Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Rayman Origins.

Also you guys might wanna consider releasing a PSVita with 12GB internal flash memory . The cost of the cards often puts people of purchasing the system as it did me. With the 12GB flash memory peoples perception of the systems value would sky rocket, alongside sales. With the addition of PS plus, people would easily fill up 12GB and before they know it they’ll be looking at purchasing 16/32GB memory cards, so you guys could still make your profit from the cards.

dirtyCAT79 13 November, 2012 @ 11:16 pm   284

This is great news.
I certainly don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth here.

As an early supporter of the Vita though – I already own both these titles since….well…since they are the only two decent games we had on the platform for quite some time!

This is all great news – but when you are deciding free games – please consider the platform is quite new and most people will already own the big titles. Some of the newer OR Mobile titles would certainly make me happy.

im not going to have a go at you as i said what i had to say before as you singled me out for my issue regarding modnation(which was a complete non issue in the end)

but i dont really understand why you traded the vita after 2 months, the launch lineup window was pretty well documented so there was no surprises regarding game releases at that time and it was a bit early to know that remote play would not be more well supported over the coming months.

however even though you had issues with my posts in this thread before i have to defend you here as i was also under the impression that the vita would become an extension of our ps3’s and we would be able to use the vita(or ngp at the time) for a more robust remote play with most of the library being available for remote use.

i love my vita and i also really like the fact that plus vita is going to give me far more games to play at a low low cost.

i will need to buy a new card as i already have digitally

street fighter x tekken
stardust bundle
hustle kings
plants vs zombies
f1 2011
escape plan
zen pinball 2 (all tables)
modnation racers
when vikings attack

now some of these titles will end up free and i don’t care as if i get 50% more games as a result of plus then its all a bonus.

a new 16gb card will cost around the same as one of the full price retail games and if this means i can store 10 or so games form my sub then its all good.

Hi there guys. Can you tell me when Portugal, can access Youtube App for PSVITA?

maneesh2705 14 November, 2012 @ 12:05 am   288

Hii, It’s great to see PS+ for PS Vita! But I have a question so please answer.
Well, I have 2 accounts, one with PS+ subscription and another one which I normally use and have my trophy collection on it. Like in PS3 when I download a game from my PS+ account then that game works on my another account with trophy support but I think it’s not the case with PS Vita. Is there anything you can do about it? Or any suggestions?
I would really want to play those PS+ Vita games on my account with trophies so please help.

Unicronic 14 November, 2012 @ 12:05 am   289

I’m happy to see the Plus is on Vita next week and Gravity Rush will be a freebie.

BUT the US is getting 6 games whereas EU gets 4. I’m not too bothered about which 6 but having 6 games rotate frequently rather than 4, or in this case 2 as UC & GR will stick around longer, provides better variety and a more attractive offering.

I’m an early adopter of Vita which means with only 2 games rotating the chances of getting something I haven’t played before becomes far less likely than if there were 4 games rotating.

Please consider expanding to 6 slots to cater to the people who picked up the Vita at launch and have played a lot of the library already

This is pretty insane. I am standing in gamestop in Norway concidering to buy Gravity Rush for 100$ because i KNONW i will like it, and now it is free. I love you SONY, i love PS vita and i love PS+

Wait a second. What does this mean? Countries: AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ? is it coming to Norway?

While this is pretty awesome and I know that the game selection is limited I’m a bit bummed that I already have 3 of the 4 ‘free’ games.

immergingvirus 14 November, 2012 @ 12:35 am   293

how many moaning people on here getting bit boring if your not happy with it simple solution is to not get it you pay Β£40 year and first release you get approx. Β£80 worth games, problem is everybody wants something for nothing the guys that put the games on are doing the best to put decent games on, if you have hard copy trade in put money towards bigger memory card also these guys have to contact the developers of these games to put them on for free, they are restricted to what they can add, people say oh i already have that one, you pay a subscription the games are the games accept it, please find below a list of the digital games i already have and i accept that what on there is on there and any i dont have is a bonus

immergingvirus 14 November, 2012 @ 12:36 am   294

DonMingos 14 November, 2012 @ 12:50 am   295

This is what definitily made me decide to buy a Vita this Holliday,

Just one doubt tough:

I Already have Wipeout 2048 and Superstardust HD for the PS3 do I have to buy the vita versions or can I download it again to the Vita from my PSN account

wipeout hd on ps3 is a different game than wipeout 2048 so no its not free if you have ps3 version however you do get those tracks free for the vita version as free dlc that are in addition to the tracks that come with 2048.

superstardust delta is also a different title to stardust hd so again its not free.

games like motorstorm rc, hustle kings and when vikings attack are the EXACT same games on ps3 and vita and you do get both copys of these games

apoc_reg 14 November, 2012 @ 1:18 am   297

chrisboers 14 November, 2012 @ 6:00 am   305

@Chris, @Fred: There is an issue with Motorstorm RC. I bought it in the race-sale, and am able to download it on my Vita. However, it says there isn update, but when I try to download the update, it says ‘cannot download’.
Other problem is on the PS3 store: Whether I choose ‘full game’ or ‘Demo PS3’, I always download the 100kb unlock key.
Quite annoying.

Can you please send this trough to the Store guys?

chrisboers 14 November, 2012 @ 6:01 am   306

@thavleifrim: In one of the comments Chris said 2 games a month. Uncharted and Gravity Rush are here to stay for a while, the others rotate.

ozelot-martin 14 November, 2012 @ 6:09 am   307

Maybe jet set radio is free too and Final fantasy tactics for psp.

residentSteve 14 November, 2012 @ 6:49 am   308

Got rid of my vita ages ago uncharted really is the only game I like on it I put the money I got from it towards a wii U.

I already have the games and bought most of the discounted titles mentioned. not a good launch for me, looking forward to the next patch.

Finka_Karfein 14 November, 2012 @ 8:53 am   310

Holy crap! My expectations were pessimistic about this and now I’m flabbergasted!
I expected two PS Plus subscriptions, there’s one. I didn’t expect Uncharted: GA, there it is. I expected at least one catch – there’s none.
I’m oficially starting to spare money for Vita (PSP will have to wait, I guess).
Xbox Live Gold subscription is so dead in comparison to infinitely positive PS Plus πŸ™‚

Awesome SONY and PS+ this is how you sell consoles!!!
Ordered PSV and 16gb directly after reading this.

This is amazing!

DAMN! I’m gonna need a bigger memory card now, 16gb just ain’t big enough.

Skookie30 14 November, 2012 @ 10:04 am   314

@chris was it wise to go we like to surprise route, yes indeed we get the 3 other titles later this month but it not working is chris you still having answer my or other saying how can this be better tailor needs for EU.

i have just read the SCEA commets their quite happy over there, the put out all the games in 1 basket telling them what they getting they know where their stands you dont see them splitting the community.

so chris you actually DID split the community we fighting among ourselves like i said many times on different blog threads for not given out the full list it leads to speculation, mistrust, anger, & contempt from us.

I dont have q vita yet but can I register vita downloads on my account and put them on vita at later date?

Got two of the games but can’t complain, I guess.

I’d advise everyone to download Mutant Blobs, its a great game.

The only downside to this is that Vita memory cards are obscenely overpriced. I have a 32gb card pretty much full already and I’m certainly not buying another at those prices. I’ll just delete something I’m not currently playing till later.

Chris Howe
u already now when europe gets demo ore game ragnorack odysee ?

i want to buy uncharted when 35€ but now free renting = tanks .

Alienshade 14 November, 2012 @ 10:46 am   318

And when will psn+ come to Sweden??? AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ this is the contrys that get psn+ now right?!

sadlam79 totaly agree on mem cards + same problem
€ 89,95 = more then 3 games in store

Oh you guys :’)

With the amount of Vita games I own, I thought it would be forever until you’d offer a free game I don’t have, but here you are with 4 I haven’t played, 3 of which I’ve wanted for a long time.

You guys are awesome!

Is there any news of a 64gb memory card coming soon? I have a 32gb and I ran out of space a few months ago lol

Good job Sony, you might have just killed the sales of PSVita software. Only reason to still buy retail is the lack of space on the PSVita memory card. Even 16 GB is way too small.

not really as if chris sticks to what he said and sale titles wont be plus titles then i for 1 will buy a game if i really want it and its on sale.

also if the 40 launch titles are whats mainly going to be used in the rotation at the start then at 2 new games per month thats 20 months of content right there and all the while new games will be coming out for vita and i for one wont wait a year or so for a big retail game i really want.

i know its a bit early for requests but any chance you could take on board the following suggestions for future plus games.

marvel vs capcom
army corps of hell

thank you

Those complaining a 16GB memcard is too small…

I don’t know how many games at the same time you play but on average I don’t play more than 5 to 6 different games in lets say a month.

Uncharted is a big game, close to 4GB, but many other games are a lot smaller. With EASE one can store 5 to 6 and even a lot more games on a 16GB memorystick.

It is not a lot of trouble to dl the games on the PS3 and transfer some once a month or once every few months, or even dl them directly on PSVita.

Sure, a 32GB or 64GB card for a reasonable price would rock, but the 16GB card is more than enough for me, even if all games would be 4GB.

This is brilliant news. Tempted to trade in my Uncharted: GA towards Black Ops Declassified!

Thanks Sony for keeping us all so very treated and happy customers.

Great value for money plus ive had it since it started and it just keeps getting better and better

Very happy I splashed out on a 32GB card now.

Plus is an EXCELLENT service which saves the average PSN user a ton of cash, and I will continue using it, as long as the content is of this standard.
Both Gravity Rush and Uncharted are very high-end games retailing between 35 – 45 euro, and now they’re scott free, along with the PS3 content with PLUS.

You’ve finally redeemed yourself, Sony.

theStoneSkull 14 November, 2012 @ 12:56 pm   332

you know that when their time runs out, when they ‘rotate’ that you can’t play them anymore unless you buy them.. the games aren’t free downloads to keep, they are free to use for a time period. two months or three months max.
i am happy with this service but i am not deluded. we’ll have three months with ‘gravity crash’ and ‘uncharted’ and that is plenty of time to play through them. a shorter, ‘preview’ of the other two games.. it’s an extra.. a ‘plus’ to your account.. for a reasonable price. i like that there are discounts available for purchases and am especially looking forward to the one-week sale at launch.
there is another thing worth noting.. that psp titles offered for ps+ will also be able to be used on your actual psp by logging on to the store from it. that’s a little bonus not getting mentioned πŸ™‚

You have them until your subscription expires, then you’re just locked out of them. When you re-subscribe, you can play them again. They’re only available on the PSN store for a limited time, but once they are in your download list, they’re yours for keepsies.

to those moaning that US gets more games this was explained in May. They start with more but EU rotates more often and would end up with more games. Also the US launch games are likely to end up here soon.

kitten1981 14 November, 2012 @ 1:18 pm   335

jaferris 14 November, 2012 @ 2:30 pm   338

wondering if be a price for just a vita PS+ subscription i only own a vita not a ps3

@254 If that was directed at me, I’m not fighting for anyone. Yes there’s more content now, some on a different platform, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re still paying for it. Effectively it means each game we’re given access to on plus works out to be even cheaper, but again, YOU’RE STILL PAYING FOR IT. I don’t see why some people find it so difficult to get that in their heads.

I’m by no-means bagging PS+, it’s improved a lot since I started using it and is a great deal now (unlike the console of the Dark Side charging people to use their OWN internet connection), but I will always point out that none of this content is free, you paid for it, even if the sub price remains the same.

@336 Getting it now with GA is a good time seeing as the physical game is still priced around Β£35-35 and Plus is a year for Β£40, but if you wait until they have a deal on you can get it for about Β£30-32. Also, years stack so you could purchase two discounted years if you wanted and had that amount of disposable income.

BenSanter 14 November, 2012 @ 3:28 pm   341

great line up, nice to see the plus service finally coming to vita well worth Β£40 a year.

Most likely they put Uncharted in PS+ to sell a PSVita to the futured new owners of a PSVita these holidays. There are many PS3 owners with PS+ that will get a PSVita just with this announcement.

Gravity Rush is pointed more towards current owners too, as it is a good game but didn’t get a lot of sales. Furthermore, the other games are there too and remember, December already will give two new PSVita games.

I own Uncharted, but I can totally see why Sony put it in the instant game collection before Black Friday. Now they need to bundle a 3 month or better a year PS+ with every PSVita sold and market the (CENSORED) out of it!!! The more PSVitas sold the better for us all, which makes a higher installed base/numbers of units out there, thus more interesting for 3rd party gamedevs thus more games for us all. Win win!

How do I subscribe to Playstation plus on the vita? Can’t find it in the store, and I don’t have a ps3”

I have read somewhere that Sweden PSN store doesn’t have PS+ yet.

My best bet is that you make a PS+ account in another country (my country THe Netherlands has PS+ for example) and get PS+ through that store, or wait till Sony brings PS+ to Sweden, but that might be a long wait.

Check if I am right though, but I read it somewhere and would make sense why you can’t find it!

Oh be aware though: you can only have one PSN account on your PSVita at this moment in time! While on PS3 you can have more, Sony should update the firmware to allow more accounts in multiple stores IMO.

great but not as great as the US offer, is there a reason?

Skookie30 15 November, 2012 @ 9:39 am   357

I been reading the commets & it just click with me someone said months ago are we getting the same amount of free games as Ps3 gets?

someone here has given us the answer no we dont get the same for 2 reasons……

1- SCEA gets more the us on Day 1 we only get 4.

2- & this is the reason 4 titles still in longer but only “2 in rotation every month” while the Ps3 rotate 3 games per month, the game of the month & 2 of the rota list get replace that makes 3.

but that im not so bother about because i did had a feeling it be slightly different then the Ps3 & dont forget the 1st year of the new Plus runs out quicker then the vita.

meaning when the Ps3 starts it’s 2nd year run LBP2 infamous2 will rotate with new game staying for a year while Vita still in it’s 1st year Run.

Hi there.

One question. Will we in Portugal receive also the Plus? πŸ™‚

Superb. So glad I didn’t buy Gravity Rush now. WHAT A TOUCH!!!

awesome update. Just replaced my phat which ylod on me last week with a slim and threw in a vita. Holiday season Will be good indeed.

Bought Gravity Rush about 2 weeks ago but even if I had all 4 games I’d still be happy. Not for myself, but for the community. If this helps casuals buy the Vita, then good! The more who buy the system, the more it’s supported by devs, and that can only be a good thing. I finally bought a Vita when LBP came out and would love Wipeout too but I’m sure it’ll come in due course. Patience is a virtue people.

Plus would’ve been difficult to market before a year of operation of the system. There just weren’t enough games (bar PSP/PS1 ones of course) to keep the flow right.

Keep up the good work Sony. I’m a happy subscriber. Would recommend a bundles with 3 months and a 12 months free subscription to plus for the coming holiday season, as it’ll get them hooked, like we are!

Forgot to mention, while it’d be nice to have parity between the US and the rest of us, we’ll more likely have a faster turnaround of games and not leaving them stagnating on the network.

Do need another memory card now though!

Crack-Davidson 16 November, 2012 @ 1:28 pm   364

CHRIS! I’m writing in this thread because the original is so old. In the racing discount thread you said that the wipeout hd complete pack price should be fixed in a couple of hours, but it STILL full price on my vita store! That is the only one I want to get, but wont pay the full price when it should be discounted. FIX THIS NOW, before the sale ends.

Thank you

RhinoW-1990 16 November, 2012 @ 1:53 pm   365

I came across something about a free trial for 30 days. How do I go about claiming that?

Wow ja nemuzu dockat a super good ! πŸ˜€

chrisboers 16 November, 2012 @ 2:03 pm   367

@RhinoW-1990: Open the PSN Store on your PS3, at the start-screen, go to ‘Redeem Code’, and enter the code you got. That’s all.
However, if you don’t want the service to auto-renew after the month, switch off the auto-renew option.

RhinoW-1990 16 November, 2012 @ 2:26 pm   368

Forgot to mention that I don’t have a ps3 but i do own a vita. Could i do this from a friend’s ps3 if i signed in to my account from there?

Catkiller1 16 November, 2012 @ 2:46 pm   369

WOW…..the kids, teenagers & adults really stand out on this Blog.

Is there any need for personal insults towards people & their opinions??

After this announcement i’m very tempted in finally owning a VITA. I couldn’t justify the price to begin with for a handheld console but considering I have a PLUS subscription & the VITA games are additions for no extra cost to the subscription, then i’m now going to look into some deals within January or I may have to hold off until my Birthday, in April. At least i’ll have plenty of free games when I do eventually purchase one πŸ™‚

Sterling effort indeed guys…..well done!

chrisboers 16 November, 2012 @ 2:56 pm   370

@RhinoW-1990: Yes you could. However, you can also wait until next week, when Vita Firmware 2.00 releases. I’m sure subscribing to PS Plus will become available on the Vita store then also (Not even sure if it isn’t possible right now)

@rhino about ps+ free trial. it’s on Sony PlayStation’s facebook page, you will need a credit card to redeem code though.

Hey bud. Hope i stand out as an adult. Reading between the lines, i’ve noticed that chris neglected to answer any q’s regarding whether any ps3 owners (with plus but without a vita) could dl the vita igc until a time when they purchased one.

Would not put it past sony to integrate a method (with v.2.00 update) that only permits dl’ing when accounts show ownership of BOTH consoles. After all, they took away the ability for multiple accounts on the vita with the ps1 update (v.180) i think. Sneaky.

V.2.00 is gonna be interesting. Thankfully, i don’t think there’s a vita port of singstar. he he.

Enjoy your vita when you get one mate.

Catkiller1 16 November, 2012 @ 4:29 pm   373

@ sem1471

I hope that users who own PS3s can download VITA content, otherwise it’s pretty pointless for me….at the moment anyway!

Did you send me a message through PSN a couple of weeks ago with regards to MOH: Warfighter?? If so i’m sorry I didn’t get back to you but I accidentally deleted the message & forgot the name but for some reason your name stands out! If so, send me another message & i’ll add you, for you to attain the fireteam trophies.

hey mate,
the guys on the us blog have responded to this question and confirmed that you can indeed add them to your queue and download them at a later date.

i cant see that being different for us.

Catkiller1 16 November, 2012 @ 5:04 pm   375

@ Hayzink

Hopefully EU get the same treatment then!

Thanks fella πŸ˜‰

@catkiller1, cheers for reply. Hope my thought process didn’t worry you too much!

In relation to your query, it wasn’t me regarding MOH. Sorry.

Maybe my name stands out as i’m a regular complainer on these blogs regarding the digital pricing on the store.

As I said previously, hope you enjoy your vita when you get one. Tremendous piece of kit.

Enjoy your weekend.

@hayzink. Cheers for the info.

Don’t tend to look at the US blog too much (angers up the blood sometimes if you know what I mean…) but good to know.

Happy to be corrected.

You too, enjoy your weekend.

KingStoph 16 November, 2012 @ 10:44 pm   378

Awesome news, but the important question is…

When will Memory cards get cheaper? coz i can see awesome things coming from this, already have Uncharted and Gravity Rush, but im sure next month will be a cracker!

obiadekanobi1980 17 November, 2012 @ 1:54 am   379

well done and thanks for the free games kudos job plus keeps getting better glad i didnt pay for uncharted in the end and gravity rush plus the other free games has made me buy a bigger card

Temeraire94 17 November, 2012 @ 10:07 am   380

Hey guys, just wondering:
can you “register” these PS+ Vita games on PS3? I don’t have Vita (yet!), nor I will have anytime soon, but eventually I’m gonna get one and with PS+ on Vita, that day’s gonna be sooner than later.

lazynick_111 17 November, 2012 @ 1:15 pm   381

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus would be a great deal. Not that this is bad. I really want to play that game.

DarkusRogue 19 November, 2012 @ 12:48 am   382

I bought the Call of Duty Vita bundle today and I’m really loving this new addition to my sony consoles! I’m also getting my Plus membership back tomorrow.

Could we please get Ragnarok Tactics on the store too? I really wanna buy that game. πŸ™‚

furis1408 19 November, 2012 @ 1:17 am   383

yes this is a campaign

Spook2007 19 November, 2012 @ 12:50 pm   384

Nice deal. Just bought a Vita last week. Looks like I’ll be signing up for Plus too! Sounds unbeatable, especially as it covers my PS3 as well.

explodetech29 19 November, 2012 @ 3:31 pm   385

Freakin awesome, but i wanted wipeout πŸ™

Why are the Americans getting more games to the PS Vita instant game collection? Why don’t we get Jet Set Radio and Final Fantasy Tactics as well. How come the Europeans get a worse deal? I’d be grateful if I got an answer.

They also get Wipeout 2048 btw…

downloaded the patch 15 minutes ago πŸ™‚

done mine too πŸ™‚ just got to download games

I just downloaded it as well, but I can’t see where I can download the games.

Skookie30 20 November, 2012 @ 10:19 am   391

i download the 2.00 & discover this feature for PSP games but don’t know if this was out of the box feature on launch.

you can assign touch buttons on the touch Screen [Top left, Top Right, Bottom left & bottom Right]

you can use plus features today while we wait for our free games tomorrow.

unfortunately despite the broswer is faster you cant watch any vids on youtube or eslewhere the only way to watch youtube vids to to ust the yoptube app on homePage.

Well, just got surprised when people claimed to download games now. I know the 21st is the official date for the games. Sad that the Americans get better PS Vita support for Playstation Plus, just as they do on the PS3..

thats great now if we can get the unit 13 language system fixed be better. oh one more thing are there any plans that we can buy skype credits with our psn wallet?

DAVEHUDSON 20 November, 2012 @ 6:53 pm   394

omg this is epic !!!! congrats sony!!

theStoneSkull 21 November, 2012 @ 3:35 am   397

so.. does the store get updated at midnight gmt, or…?

Hi – it’s 5 am UK, 21st of November and I can’t see any obvious changes to the store that make use of my Playstation Plus Account. Any news on when the updates will be rolled out, or is PS+ a subtly hidden option? Clicking on Gravity Rush asked me for the full price for the game for instance, so I don’t think it’s there yet.

theStoneSkull 21 November, 2012 @ 5:59 am   399

heh, i’ve kept going into the store and clicking on gravity rush myself, waiting for it to have that cool plus sign and ‘free’ written next to it….. i’ve been up all night and into the afternoon.. it’s now 5pm in australia…

*waves at floor, in general direction of StoneSkull* It’s about 10 past 6 here in the UK, 8000 miles of solid rock, magma and superheated iron away from your current location. Still no joy on the PS Store. Even being a Playstation developer sitting just a few miles from Sony London HQ isn’t getting me my sugary PS+ snacks any faster.

I’ll try refreshing the store again. It’s bound to work eventually!

Still no games…are we waiting for someone to wake up and push a button or what?

chrisboers 21 November, 2012 @ 8:34 am   402

@MrHeedZ: The Store ALWAYS updates around 16:00 -17:00 UTC, so why would that be any different this time around? Just be patient, they will arrive…

theStoneSkull 21 November, 2012 @ 9:07 am   404

@chrisboers – thank you for the info. not all of us know what time the store normally updates. i better get some sleep, ha. still have about 7 hours.

codester100 21 November, 2012 @ 9:51 am   405

STILL NO GAMES!!!!! when will we get them?

Alan2112 21 November, 2012 @ 9:58 am   406

Games will be up later today when the store updates, same as every other week.Nobody said they would be up any other time.

5 hours till the store update blog post, so 5 to 7 hours till games appear on the store.

Game are actually gone to + now in some regions

GOT MY FREEBIES, (search for them and they appear on plus) THANKS SONY, still wantin wipeout on plus in uk!!!, apart from that GREAT JOB guys.

UchihaSilver 21 November, 2012 @ 1:00 pm   410

I held on to my vita purely for things like this but now i am thinking of getting rid of it i don’t care for sony giving more games to other countries its stupid, sorry if i think the we should be treated equally but i don’t understand in the slightest not to mention the fact that legends of dragoon didn’t come out over here either, why do sony insist on treating different countries differently if i started doing that id be called a racist -_- but again owned a vita since day one and have always defended it but i guess theres no point =/

theStoneSkull 21 November, 2012 @ 2:07 pm   411

cool.. the plus titles and discounts have shown up here in australia.

here comes a rush of gravity!

theStoneSkull 21 November, 2012 @ 2:31 pm   412

wow.. i like that gravity rush, chronovolt and tales from space fit into less than 2 gigabytes altogether. this has been perfect for me. thanks sony!

L_Alive_7 21 November, 2012 @ 3:56 pm   413

Chris This has been really great news.I really cant thank you enough.
You Have just gained a PS+ subscriber. It`s People like you who make me feel proud as a Sony User πŸ™‚

GalaxionVR 21 November, 2012 @ 4:16 pm   414

WHERE IS JET SET RADIO !!?? its not fair, u have ruined my week, i was so hoping to get all that, why why !!! this is the first time i write an angry post in the internet ever and it’s the first time in my life that i am upset because of something related to video games !! thank you very much !

Why do the Americans get 6 Vita games for free with a PS+ subscription and we only 4?

Well as usual…
