Access episode 67: Dead Space 3! Deadly Premonition! Arnie!

ACCESS - TV_small

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into space… well actually you never would, but this week on Access TV episode 67 it’s definitely not a good idea to be hanging out in the cosmos, as mega horror sequel Dead Space 3 lands in Game of the Week with more scares than a mad clown circus. Find out why it’s awesome (as well as checking out the all new co-op mode) in the link below.

Elsewhere in the show there’s the small matter of us getting up close and personal with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Yep, he’s back, and we crash the UK premiere of his latest action flick The Last Stand in this week’s Access All Areas, as well as grabbing a word with co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Jaimie Alexander.

Bonus Level is filled with even more scares as we interview the chaps behind upcoming PS3 survival horror Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, plus we’ve got all the latest news in PlayStation Briefing (including a look at The Last of Us Special Editions) and a roundup of the week’s best content from the PlayStation Store. Tuck in!

hello, different subject but is aliens colonial marines coming to playstation stone? and when because its due 12th february, please help

Let’s stay on topic please. If you’ve got a Store question, either wait until the Store update post, ask in my Recap post, or send me a Tweet at @PlayStationEU. I’m trying to confirm the Aliens situation now.

After playing the demo I’m so not interested in Dead Space 3 :/

First one was great, 2nd one was meh and this one just seems to have gone stale… co-op and the weapon customization just doesn’t seem necessary, more doesn’t mean better + the micro transactions… nice one EA -____- hopefully I’m wrong but it’s going in my backlog vault at the moment.

I’m more interested in Deadly Premonition but as per usual the good horror games won’t sell well while the poor ones do…

I’m having doubts about cancelling my Dead space 3 pre order, since I’ll still be spending a lot of time in Ni no kuni and games are so expensive on release.. I always enjoyed the Army of two co op but that one will no doubt get bumped down to buy on pricecut this time.. Oh yea and Crysis 3 too :o Oh well, atleast we get some great games at the start of this year and throughout, instead of getting them all together at the end of the year.

Why my last comment was removed?! I just said if Dead Space 3 is coming to PSstore!

Dead Space 3
not mi ting , but jes ea/sony games are moast expensive in real store . on psn = even more expensive.

How the eff did Rob get a Drippy avatar?!! How dare he make me so jealous! And Fred, this is on topic because he’s blatantly showing off.

Just seen that DS3 scores a 7/10 and yet most other reviews get 8,9 even 9.5 out of 10…I am a hardcore Dead Space fan and people going on about it becoming more of an action game, need to look long and hard at the first two entries as they contained just that…action, both DS 1 and 2 played with the sweaty intensity of Aliens which was to all intents and purposes a horror movie with the added element of panic driven action scenes, I have played the demo endlessly and it feels, looks and indeed plays like Dead Space of old, I know I am biased but by god this game is going to take some beating in my book.
