Assassin’s Creed III: Tyranny of King Washington DLC episode 2 out next week

The exciting second chapter in our Tyranny of King Washington single-player DLC for Assassin’s Creed III will be released next week, and we wanted to share a quick look at Ratonhnhaké:ton’s newest ability with you all!

In Episode #2: The Betrayal, Ratonhnhaké:ton gains the Power of the Eagle which grants him access to a unique set of gifts that enable lightning-fast reactions and adds another dimension of stealth beyond even the previous chapter’s Power of the Wolf!

Similar to the Power of the Wolf, Power of the Eagle has two different uses. First, it enables Ratonhnhaké:ton to soar from one location to another quickly and invisibly as a ghostly eagle. You activate this ability by looking in the direction you want to go – if the Power of the Eagle is available to use, you will see a reticle appear with two wings.

Once you press the button to activate the ability, Raton will transform into an eagle and streak towards the new location completely unseen! Best of all, you can use this ability while running or jumping to dramatically increase the distance of your jumps or even save yourself from a nasty fall.

Of course, the Power of the Eagle would not be complete if it didn’t include some kind of offensive component as well. Consequently, we’ve included the Eagle Strike, which will enable you to power dive into a foe, ending their life with the swiftness of a deadly raptor! Will this extraordinary ability be enough to ensure that Ratonhnhaké:ton can stand against King Washington and his remaining lackeys Israel Putnam and Benjamin Franklin?

The Tyranny of King Washington – Episode 2: The Betrayal will be available for Season Pass-holders or for £7.99/€9.99 on Wednesday 20th March! For more information please visit

Very good, I can’t wait for it.

Assassin’s Creed is one of my favourite franchises ever.

good thing i didnt buy this game, generally most of the series fans around forums say its a step back from the other 3 games and msot highlight the naval battleas as one of the better aspects. Gonna wait for the platinum version of this with all the DLC included

Please make ACIV more like 1-Revelations, 3 was a massive disappointment and a huge step down for the series, awful characters (bar pre-time-skip haytham) exceptionally dull setting and really rushed and shoe horned in features like trading and brotherhood skills. I’m glad your retiring connor now, he was dull and had zero personality. What you did in the end was a hacked rush job but i’m willing to give you another shot with IV, please make another actually decent game.

Can someone tell me if I buy the season pass now will I get all the old DLC’s and all the future ones?

Too overpriced at this point, will get these at half price.
