PS Bloggers, how have you been? Music Unlimited here. We’ve had a busy couple of weeks since the last post, debating, creating and updating our Premium channels as a result of the influx of new sub-genres we’re now showcasing on the service.

As we mentioned last time, the hugely anticipated Game Music, as well as New Wave, Old School Hip-Hop, Ambient Lounge, Classic Rock and Comedy have already been published across all regions. Since then we’ve added Classic Soul, Vocal Jazz, Country and Folk to the roster, as well as others such as Disco soon to come.

Remember, many of the tracks in our channels are judged based on what you’re playing, so ramp up your playlists and libraries now.

On Friday 22nd February we held an event at Red Bull Studios London putting on an exclusive performance showcase of current artists Josephine, Duologue and Wild Swim, as well as carrying out interviews and putting them in the spotlight. We asked them what games they were into, and as it turns out some of their tracks are already licensed to PlayStation games.

Get your avatars down to PlayStation Home Sports District and you can see all of the highlights streamed onto the screens. You can also check it out on the PlayStation YouTube page:

Red Bull Studios is a musical hub of emerging indie talent. We were so impressed that we’ve created a Red Bull Studios London channel including all artists that have either played or recorded there including Ghost Poet, Twin Atlantic, Jessie Ware and Roots Manuva. Check it out here.

It’s great to see that touring bands get a chance to play PlayStation on the road, but if you could play a game with any music artists, who would it be with and what would you play? Far Cry with Flo Rida? Killzone with Kasabian? LittleBigPlanet with Linkin Park?!

As ever we’ve got all the charts new releases available on the service at the click of a button. This month sees releases from The Strokes, British Sea Power and Hadouken, as well as the critically acclaimed, 10 years in-the-making David Bowie album.

Finally, if you’re still having problems with the Android app, just download the new 1.6.2 which will rectify any outstanding problems, as well as bringing you High Quality audio! Thanks for reading!
