VidZone update: Snoop Doggy, Doggy… Lion?!

Alright VidZoner’s and VidZonettes, You ok? This week we have dogg/lion reggae transformations, a trio of Yeah’s, and both classic and brand new electricity-based rock music as well as the all the other video gloriousness we have to offer. Confused by our crypticness? Didn’t think so, you are a clever bunch. Well, to be honest, even if you are then all you need to do is read on and Candice will go through everything in a much less stupid way! Enjoy…

Artist of the Week: Snoop Lion

The Dogg is now a Lion! Nope this isn’t a rejected episode of Pokémon but this week’s Artist Of The Week feature. The hip-hop legend created his new Lion identity last year and will finally release his album appropriately titled Reincarnated next week.

Snoop‘s reggae-inspired sound can be heard on the new track ‘No Guns Allowed’ which not only samples Beirut‘s track ‘Nantes’, but also features fellow rapper Drake and Snoop’s daughter, Cori B. We have the video along with his previous two hits ‘Lighters Up’ ft. Mavado & Popcaan and ‘Here Comes The King’ ft. Angela Hunte.

Band by the name of Chthonic, a song of theirs called Broken Jade. It’s on Vidzone. Listen. Most won’t like it but listen through to the end before judging.
