Community update: Win a replica BioShock Skyhook

Hello PlayStation Blog! It’s time for your update on what’s new and exciting in the Official PlayStation Community!

The year is 1912. Deep in debt, Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity for a clean slate: rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, they must harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities as they fight to survive the threats of the city and uncover its dark secrets.

For those of you that have played the game, you will be aware that one of the main modes of transport is the Skyhook, and you can now get your hands on your very own replica!

All you need to do is head over to this thread and write up a game biography (for any game) as if it was actually set in 1912! So get your creative head on and you could be walking away with your very own Skyhook, good luck!

Elsewhere, for the Gran Turismo fans out there, we have a couple of online events that may tickle your fancy!

The first event is the GT5 OPC World Tour Event from the poster ‘SilverDefender’. The concept is simple – pick up the little Suzuki Cappiccino RM’95 from the dealership, add your racing modifications and then get ready to hit the road with the community!

The second is for the more hardcore GT5 players out there! MB’s Gran Turismo Hardcore Race Nights are for those wanting to test their racing endurance! Get your pit stop strategies sorted and join the fun!

UK and Ireland only? So much for Sony Europe :-/

Well, good luck to all the entrants.

Of course. Do you know how hard it is to send something from UK to the rest of Europe these days? It is 1912 after all!

Oh wait…

Pizza cutter, massage aid and brass knuckles all rolled into one magnificent object. It is like the Excalibur of Swiss army knives.

Another UK only promotion. Screw you Europe.

Well, UK does not even consider itself part of Europe, so yeah. :P
