LittleBigPlanet update: 8 million levels created!

Little Big Planet Update

Super news everybody! LittleBigPlanet continues to burst with awesomeness and pure creativity as we now have more than 8,000,000 community levels in LittleBigPlanet… and still growing!

Everybody should give themselves a big pat on the back because this wouldn’t be possible without you folks, we’re heading towards LittleBigPlanet’s fifth anniversary this year and having the community still growing strong is definitely something that you should all be proud of!

Here’s looking forward to the next million!

Team Picks

What would LittleBigPlanet be without the huge community of friends to play with? Well, our Team Picks come in two friendly flavours this week. You can team up with some friends in Khodex and Eterniitys platformer on LittleBigPlanet 2 and work together to complete this co-operative adventure.

Vita Picks

If you’re feeling a little more competitive though, you may want to play Marvel Blast Force on LittleBigPlanet PS Vita. An explosive game that will see you pitted against your friends to see who can survive the longest! You can even design your own battle arenas in this amazing level!

8 million levels. Did you guys ever think it’d get to such a high, crazy number? Because I don’t think many companies can have such a proud in their products.

Steven, I’ll bug you today with two matters:

1- Do we need any of the Marvel DLC to play the Vita level featured in the post?

2- Can you take a look at this thread ( ) in our PlayStation Forums, when able? I assure you I’ve tried every single way of Customer Support before asking :/

Thanks as always for your hard work, Steven :)

1. No, you do not need to purchase DLC to play any Community Levels. :)

2. We’re currently investigating a number of store issues, so hopefully these will be resolved alongside this.

8 million levels??? AMAZING Stuff;) + Sorry to say this again – I still want a LBP3!!!PLZ:P (maybe on the PS4? WOW that would be super COOL) ;)

Congratulations for 8 Million Levels :D

@Nightmare966 No, you don´t need the Marvel Arcade Pack. It´s just another Marvel Arcade Level by me for free :D

@Carl-G I´m sure I have heard sometime ago something about LBP3 for the PS4 :D But what we can do? Here in Germany we say: Just wait and drink tea ;)

I check them every week!

BTW, a secret pin has just popped for me, I’d recommend everyone to start up LBP today (at least LBP2) :P

8 MILLION! Let’s go for 9 MILLION next! :D

I have gotten the Platinum Trophy in both LBP’s. Both games were superb 2D Jump’n’Runs and being able to play coop is also a huge bonus.

What I did not like about this franchise is that these whole level editor and community features are “forced” to the gamer if he wants to get the platinum trophy. I do not have that much sparetime and spending actively 24 hours in the editor is something that I simply do not like. And this is a trophy that is available in every new LBP game…
