Although they’ve shared the same planet for 30 years, the Vektans and the Helghast are now on the brink of war. With both factions eager to protect their home and reclaim what they believe is theirs, trust has reached an all-time low. The wall built to separate both sides can no longer contain the enemy.

As a Shadow Marshal you serve under Vektan Security Agency director Sinclair, who has you perform the difficult missions that ensure the balance remains tipped in favor of the Vektans. But Echo, an intelligence operative for the Helghast, has similar orders – and she will stop at nothing to accomplish them.

To bring these two key characters to life, we are very pleased to have secured the amazing talents of David Harewood, who plays Sinclair, and Jamie Gray Hyder, who has taken on the role of Echo. David is a British actor best known for his role as that other intelligence agency director – David Estes, the deputy director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center, in the critically acclaimed television series Homeland. Jamie is a young American actress known for her breakout role as the werewolf Danielle on the award-winning television series True Blood.

Witnessing how these characters came to life, with both David and Jamie lending their physical performance, voice, and likeness to the role, was a fantastic experience for us. We can’t wait to show you more of the performances and storyline of Killzone: Shadow Fall. Click on the gallery images below for high resolution in-game screenshots of Sinclair and Echo.

I’ve got a soft spot for green eye’s, I’ll have to buy the game now.

I guess this wont be answered, but during the PS4 UI trailer it showed a SP and MP available download. Will these be purchasable separately?

@vonhammer

They won’t be purchasable seperately, but as you saw in the trailer, you can choose what portion you want to download first.

Great actor, love him in Homeland. Good to have a female character once again too.

As a Killzoner, this news comes across rather ominous. Killzone 3 gave us a ‘Hollywood story’ and I seriously have difficulty forgiving it. Fortunately, the gameplay was tweaked to a point which allowed familiarly without ruining what makes Killzone great so multiplayer still deserved a tonne of hours put into it.

With these TV stars being announced, I hope the same path isn’t being tread ’cause I’d hate to see a blatant Hollywood cliché as to Echo’s identity. ‘Similar orders’ to the Shadow Marshal? Please. Just don’t and there will be hope.

‘Familiarly’ should read ‘familiarity’… my bad. My bad.

That guys face looks real:P + i remember him off ‘Spatz’ years & years ago(maybe over 25+ years ago):D (look it up on YouTube. He used to be in it sometimes as a Security guard. It was silly but funny) Nice to see he is famous in the USA now;)

will be amazing I bet, hopefully the story is also.

Good all that but kz sf to be success must have a litle more thinks the previous kz games don’t have like memorable characters, new story witn surprises, no generic story like “we must protect the home from helgast threat” and thats its, new and dynamic gameplay, i know the owl is something new and looks cool but the gameplay from E3 demo was only go to one objective to other is not so impesive like graphics are and finally a good multiplayer like kz2

They sure have attracted some mayor acting talent for this game. Lets hope the story lives up to it because it was always the most weak point of any KZ game. It’s also disappointing that the guys from Guerrilla Games, a Dutch studio, take the time to react on the US blog and not the EU blog.
