To mark the first anniversary of Music Unlimited’s exclusive offering of the Hed Kandi back catalogue, we’re bringing the party of 2012 back to PlayStation Home! Plus we’re giving away an outstanding holiday for 2 in Ibiza this summer.

With exclusive footage brought directly from Es Paradis in San Antonio and rewards like never seen in PlayStation Home before, ‘Once Upon a Time in Ibiza’ promises to be even bigger than last year’s virtual rave at Barasti Beach Bar, Dubai. It’s going to be a costume, freebies and exclusives galore, so get down to PlayStation Home from 11th September, bring your dancing shoes and retrieve your awards!

So, how about winning a once in a lifetime trip for you and a friend, including access to the Hed Kandi show itself? One lucky winner will be flown to Ibiza for a three night extravaganza before being whisked to the show to reach for the stars alongside the world renowned Hed Kandi dancers. To be in with a chance to win this outstanding prize, just head over to the PlayStation Facebook page.

New releases
New to the service this week is the tabloid-friendly guitar hero John Mayer, releasing ‘Paradise Valley’. Meanwhile, Beady Eye release ‘Shine A Light’ from their second album, the rock blockbuster ‘BE’. Newly re-mastered and packaged, The Clash release ‘Sound System’ next month which should provide the MU office with a welcome walk down Punk memory lane, and the sweet sounds of Tom Odell’s new single ‘Grow Old With Me’ will be available from the 9th September.

The release schedule on the service then kicks into overdrive, with huge releases from the likes of Kings of Leon, Jack Johnson, The 1975, Avicii and MIA. Not sure if this is the right place to comment, but at least I know Music Unlimited is listening here ;)
Just wanted to ask for some better ways to edit playlists. Right now it’s more or less add to playlist, and maybe with a lot of trouble, delete soemthing.
I’d love to see better ways to edit playlists, like order, search in playlist, filter, etc.
For the rest, I really enjoy the service.

Do you guys know that the Walkman Xperia app Music Unlimited app implementation while awesome doesn’t actually fully work? Offline music never downloads. Ever. You set a playlist and nothing happens. The device is set for offline playback and everything. They all just stay at pending.

it would be great if it gets fixed up because it would be phenomonally better than using the actual dedicated app which doesn’t support the inbuilt equalizer and the walkman app can be scrobbled, the list goes on.

Sorry there’s just no easy way to reach the team about these issues. Another issue :)

On the IPhone APP, the new releases doesn’t come up anymore. Please fix soon because that was personally my most used feature. Thankyou

The software needs improvement.. A half decent iPad app would be great ..the service is fine it’s the software that’s …..

As years go by, some still don’t have this great service. Any info, on more countries to get Music Unlimited, such as Croatia ?

On my xperia Z i can now have my MU linked to my Walkman, yet i still have to again download the music for offline play separate to MU app, next when i try to play offline music on my Walkman player it wont mix with my not MU songs on there.
