FIFA 14 demo launches today

Fans will now get to experience the innovation that earned FIFA 14 the “Best Sports Game” award at Gamescom 2013. Play a match in the Camp Nou as FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Boca Juniors, New York Red Bulls or as one of the unique FIFA Ultimate Teams with the chance to earn additional players to customize their demo squad.

FIFA 14 is the pinnacle in franchise development on the current generation of consoles. Experience the emotion of scoring great goals with innovations to the award-winning gameplay that make the game more authentic and fun. Dictate the tempo of a match with Protect the Ball, an all-new feature that produces the realism of battling for possession in the midfield. Unleash the perfect strike with two new features, Pure Shot and Real Ball Physics, which transform shooting and goal-scoring in FIFA 14.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team will be represented in the demo but only as a very basic glimpse into the most popular game mode in EA SPORTS FIFA. To get an early start on FIFA 14 Ultimate Team, returning FUT players can get started* at after 15th September, 2013.

Download the demo here.

How much more ‘real’ can football games get? I don’t get it at all. Much happier kicking a real ball about with some buddies. Although I kinda liked Sensi back in the Amiga days, particularly the Bulldog Blighty demo version off a magazine coverdisk that was Sensi with Cannon Fodder soldiers kicking about a grenade with it occasionally flashing red and exploding, killing nearby players. I wish real football was even a fraction as exciting…

Spurs instead of Arsenal?

Come on EA!

why it takes so long to download? i’m downloading it for 2 hours and it’s only 25%. please do something with your servers.

Cool game

Seriously? they chose tottenham instead of Arsenal?

@ Szamal
yeah pay for it with PS+ and they will upgrade it.
PS+ members should have priority when it comes to downloading stuff.

will pay for ps+ when they upgrade it.

why only on EU PSN and not on UK/US PSN too?

Personally, I’m just LOLing at the people who think a PS+ account entitles them to fast download speeds, as if BT will be going ‘oh man, this household has a PS+ account, let’s give them the REAL download speed and not the one we give everyone else in their area’.

New York Red Bulls vs. the European teams, that’s an unfair battle.

Anyone else have a problem installing the demo gets to 10-15% and stops with a error message i cant remember the code it says just that its a corrupt install will try again later tonight but took about 40 mins to download and wont install :-(

well ive had several games on the ps3 with this demo, loving most of it and the realism it brings, hating the referees already, the fact that you can crunch someone, advantage is played and no yellow preduced after it is daft, the fact that you can shoulder barge someone and its a freekick :/! the goalkeepers hmmm average… yet again there isnt ever a mistake on the offside rule! if they want it to be realistic there needs to be mistakes in the referees and linesmen!! cmon ea sort this out… co-op career would be awsome also look onto it!

Just one question will fifa 14 be as heavily scripted as fifa 13?

Looks & feels goog
