Video Store update: Elysium, We’re The Millers

Hi there PlayStation Blog readers. I hope you had a great weekend. Here’s the final update for Video Store of 2013. Have a great Christmas!

In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) will stop at nothing to preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium – but that doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. Max (Matt Damon) agrees to take on a life-threatening mission, one that could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

We're the Millers

We’re the Millers
Jason Sudeikis stars in this buzz-worthy comedy as a small-time suburban pot-dealer who likes to keep a low profile. When he’s jumped by some gutter punks who steal his cash and his stash, he finds himself in deep trouble with his supplier (The Hangover’s Ed Helms). In order to make amends, the small-time peddler must become a big-time smuggler by bringing in the latest shipment from Mexico. Enlisting his neighbors – a cynical stripper (Jennifer Aniston), a streetwise teen (Emma Roberts) and a wannabe customer (Will Poulter) – he comes up with a foolproof plan.

Available in the UK now to rent or buy from £3.99/£11.99. Available in Australia priced AU$6.99/AU$19.99.

Do people actually pay 12 pounds to watch a movie on their ps3? That’s…. incredible..

Seems like a good deal since the movie can be copied to vita as well :)
Though sometimes it’s worth it as some movies release earlier on digital than on blu ray.

But why? You can watch any movie you want online, on HD. And it is quite expensive, isn’t it?

12 pounds is to buy the movie, it’s not that much.

£12 to watch a movie you never actually own is a lot!

Elysium is very good ! maybe District 9 is still better but this is one of the best in this year what I have seen. This is the movie that Avatar wanted to be.

It’s very easy to work out £12 to own the film or £3.50 or £4.50 sd or hd to rent.

Hope Elysium is better than d9 hope it’s got a story.
