Toukiden: The Age of Demons ventures onto PS Vita today

Good afternoon, people (or should I call Slayers?) Toukiden: The Age of Demons is out now on PlayStation Store which can be purchased here. For those who haven’t tried the demo yet, you can download it here too. Toukiden is developed by Omega Force (creators of the Dynasty Warriors series). The game casts players in the role of a Slayer: a skilled warrior charged with hunting monstrous Oni (demons) that threaten all of humanity.
Toukiden is set in a vibrant, fantasy infused representation of Japanese history spanning from the Asuka period to the final days of the Tokugawa shogunate. New Slayers (YOU) will begin the journey on the frontlines of battle in Utakata Village, build a party from a cast of memorable characters, and join the hunt for adventure with up to 4 friends via ad-hoc or online multiplayer.

Here I warn you that defeating the Oni threat will be no small task. You have to utilize the unique Targeted Destruction combat system, master a variety of weapons and attacks and work closely with allies to destroy the towering Oni, piece-by-piece.

By defeating the powerful Oni, you will obtain Mitama (the souls of legendary heroes) which you can use to imbue your weapons with special abilities and attributes. There are over 200 Mitama in the game, which will allow you to customize and combine with your weapons of choice to life with the power and influence unique heroes of legend.
