New on PlayStation Store: Another World, Valiant Hearts and discounts galore

Batman Arkham Origins, Resogun, Terraria, The Walking Dead, more on sale

Ubisoft‘s awesome UbiArt Framework is once more put to the test in the emotional comic book adventure Valiant Heart: The Great War on PS3 and PS4. The stories of multiple characters who struggle with this war torn era are told through engrossing puzzle-adventure gameplay.

Cult classic Another World returns for its 20th anniversary on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita (cross-buy, too). This remaster bumps the visuals, adds enhanced audio and cross-save functionality whilst keeping the immersive adventure at its core. Another World 20th Anniversary Edition is here to give gamers another chance to dive into.

For this week’s deals we have Batman: Arkham Origins Deluxe Edition and Resogun discounted as part of the deals of the week. Furthermore, now that the action in Brasil has moved from the group stages, we’re putting a ton of extra titles on offer ranging from Borderlands GOTY to Terraria PS Vita Edition. How does it relate to football? I don’t know, but hey, go grab a discount!

Any new information on Cross Region Gifting. *

News one DLC/games Like Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2?

Following titles getting on the SEN store?
Final Fantasy Crisis Core
Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone Complex
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleap
PoPoLoCrois
Tales of Eternia
Tales of the World Radiant Mythology
Thrillville
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth

Adding some answers to the Crossregion gifting this time.
*
Quite simply I want it in the way Like id been gifted the physical verison right (new, unopened) from that country/region that it originated. putting Digital and Physical on equal fotting.

I do mean gifts would have to be purchased as gift to (new item not used).
As for why as gift and not just let us buy from other regions, that is the same reason you can get a physical (new) copy as gift, digital should follow the SAME rules, as its technically the same item, just whitout the disk.
And as its purchased in the “rigth” region as a gift to the “wrong” region it will be taxed, etc in original place of purchase, and where the original rights belong and reciver would recive the item purchased as a gift.

And, another avability update. Nice. seems being a pain and nagging here each week works. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga now avavible here, just nr 2, and I will have to dig to find a new one to complain about.. 😉

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:08 pm

    Just no.

    Sora9669 25 June, 2014 @ 3:10 pm

Kingdom Hearts games aren’t released digitally. And they are releasing Birth by Sleep on PS3 in December. Crisis Core apparently can’t be released digitally because of a licensing issue with an audio track. Sucks, but oh well. Hopefully they’ll remaster it after XII.

    MaxDiehard 25 June, 2014 @ 3:11 pm

    How about you stop spamming?

    ThugETH 25 June, 2014 @ 3:42 pm

You ask about those games every week, it’s not down to SCEE the majority of them are down to SQUARE ENIX, and just so you know, Crisis Core and Birth By Sleep will never be released digitally here due to some licensing nonsense, and the fact that SQEENIX apparantly hate money and their fans equally.
So you should be mailing Sqeenix evrey week asking them, as SCEE didn’t make or have anything to do with pretty much every single one of those games.

gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:01 pm   2

Sony do you listen to the gamers? Why is there constant firmware updates without features, the store never gets better but only worse, the download list and system never gets improved, there is no mp3 music in all games like was promised us for the next console generation after the ps3, no media support.. No great sales offers like on steam and forced online costs now on ps4. And no princess to save. Srsly sony? Make Jawad Sony president so he can clean up this mess!

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:02 pm

Like in the store discounts section now for SOME of the discount areas the top-bar in the navigation has been missing for weeks, do no sony employees even visit the store or want to make sony better?

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:02 pm

Why EVERY WEEK there is games in the sales tab that arent even reduced in price? Like at the moment Mafia II ? Amazon or steam never make such mistakes. Not even once. You make them every week? Why Sony? And now some new games are $50 in USA and 70euros in eu… Are you for real ? Who is running this crazy chaos company?

    andrewsqual 25 June, 2014 @ 4:56 pm

Looks like Baneyfunny, or should I say the real PSN user behind the Baneyfunny spam account, has created another one. Spouting on and on about the same things yet again.

Fred, could you just issue the same warning you did to the Baneyfunny account last week about getting a mod after it? Lets just nip this one in the bud now. Thanks 🙂

    Bovrillor 25 June, 2014 @ 8:21 pm

I think the PS Store deals have been pretty good of late, but I’ve got a serious trust issue with PSN now…

…I bought Battlefield 4 & Premium for £60 in a recent sale, expecting the same quality I got from BF3. It turns out the game is literally unplayable online (Hard-freezes BOTH of my consoles every 20 minutes or so without fail, followed by an hour of the ‘disc check utility’ – furthermore, this trashed the HDD in one of aformentioned consoles).

Lengthy calls to EU Support revealed they were unwilling to refund me, despite this being a common issue. This is tantamount to theft – they’ve taken my £60 and I have nothing to show for it. What’s to stop them doing this again?

I’ve spent well over £1000 on PSN over the years, but I’m still entitled to zero customer support? Even MS were honest enough to refund customers in the same situation. Unless Sony change their tune, I’m done with them – this is unacceptable.

It’s not Baneyfunny, it’s just a regular PSN user with the same complaints as ALL of us. If you actually want to silence legitimate criticism then YOU’RE the one who needs to be silenced, you sound like a Sony grunt posing as a gamer.

Also, ALL these prices are literally double what they were for the same games in Nov/Dec 2013. These sale prices are literally increasing every month!

    gta5rockt 26 June, 2014 @ 7:13 am

Thanks supvic, and I am glad somebody else noticed the higher prices on some of the games in the sale. Like SSX or Fifa Street from last week were already 7 and 5. And the Monkey Island game from Telltale Game was even 1$ in USA in a Flash Sale 😀 But I think even a “expensive” sale is better than none, and the Walking Dead Season 2 is a good price I think 🙂 Also the Hitman bundle looks good, and a few more 🙂

Battlestar23 25 June, 2014 @ 3:04 pm   3

Hi can anyone tell me what hapopened to Atelier Rorona Plus The Alchemist Of Arland for the PSVITA?

On last weeks blog it was listed for release on PSN but up to today there is still no sign of it on the store?

    FantasticPiacere 25 June, 2014 @ 3:11 pm

I’d like to know what’s going on with this, as well – Tecmo Koei just say Sony are doing it on their Twitter, and Sony are being completely close-mouthed about it.

Any chance of a discount for the inconvenience? All would be forgiven!

    Artemisthemp 25 June, 2014 @ 3:11 pm

Last thing I heard was: We are working on it.

Hopefully EU will be getting the Third DLC that, US got yesterday

    Jawad Ashraf 25 June, 2014 @ 3:14 pm

We’re still working on it and hope to release it ASAP. Apologies for the delay.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm

    @FantasticPiacere
Koei Tecmo* in Europe it is changing name

They said they are still working on it, so it won’t be released today. Bit sad… that I have to go to their twitter to know what is happening…

    @Jawad

So in other words, this is another title we wont see for ages, and then if we are lucky might randomly pop up on the store without any notice. Gotcha. Getting really tired of being constant left in the dark. We hear this “Working on it” and “ASAP” alot, and most of the times, it dosent mean anything.

Misiakk_PL 25 June, 2014 @ 3:04 pm   4

No discount on Valiant Hearts for ps+ members? Child of Light had one on premiere.

    Jesse-Blue 25 June, 2014 @ 6:32 pm

You need to complain with Ubisoft about this.
    They decide on this.
Like they decided again that 15 $ is 15 euros and like they decide to never offer cross-buy to any of their games, you have to buy it for PS3 AND PS4 if you want to play on both.
it’s just the way they treat their customers, sadly.
They make good games, but are very customer unfriendly. 🙁

    gta5rockt 26 June, 2014 @ 11:18 am

Not completely true actually I just saw a game from UBI that was crossbuy, I think that princess game, not sure.

Envirasu 25 June, 2014 @ 3:05 pm   5

When can we expect Atelier Rorona Plus? Koei Tecmo mentioned on Twitter that it’s in your hands now.

    Jawad Ashraf 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm

ASAP. Soon as I have some info to share I will pass it on.

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:35 pm

And Jawad, is it really necessary to write 50 times “Additional 10% PS Plus discount” ? This will make people insane when reading this sale.

    andrewsqual 27 June, 2014 @ 12:50 am

Writing the same thing over and over again doesn’t seem to stop you Baneyfunny or whatever your persona is for today. Why should Jawad listen to what a troll/spam account has to say anyway?

I don’t even know what to criticize, since PS4 wise, there’s almost no content. Transformers for 100$, bleh. Though it’s kind of disappointing how PS4 was knocked out of knockout deals. Pass.

Atelier Rorona Plus for Vita.. Its been a week, with no word from Sony about it. Whats happening? Tecmo Koei just keep saying Sony is working on it, but yet we are left in the dark from your side. It was supposed to be out last week, and here we are, a week later, and no news.

Any news in Atelier Rorona + being added to the store? It was supposed to be iuy Friday but it is still unavailable on the store.

Is there any possibility of bringing the remaining Muramasa Rebirth avatars over to the EU store as well? It’s kinda unfair how the US store has a bunch, and we get like, five.

supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 3:07 pm   10

Can’t say how many times most of these games in the Knockout sale are already on sale last time?

Also not to be hasty when is Renegade Kid ever going to release Mutant Mudds DX soon for PSN EU. 6 months and still no sign of the game.

    FriendlyFireOz 26 June, 2014 @ 7:54 am

Yeah. It would be great to see Mutant Mudds get an EU release. Any news?

gleb_best 25 June, 2014 @ 3:08 pm   11

What about PS Plus update? No info?

    Jawad Ashraf 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm

    Soon…

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 3:24 pm

Around tomorrow at around usually 4ish, usually Plus news gets posted then so don’t except any today.

    BluSpykz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:32 pm

Unless you follow Mr. Dutton on FB who intimated there “may, or may not be a PS+ reveal today… And it may, or may not be great”

    *Shrug*

    BluSpykz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:32 pm

FB…Twitter* Same thing (unless you’re a bird. Then, really not the same thing at all).

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 3:33 pm

To be honest BluSpykz I think it’s tomorrow.

    BluSpykz 25 June, 2014 @ 4:18 pm

As the day drags on, I think you’re right too SuperSmith

ShogunDarius 25 June, 2014 @ 3:08 pm   12

Atelier Rorona plus was meant to be uploaded last week, what’s up?

When is Atelier Rorona +being released for vita? It was on last weeks store update and should have been released but has still not appeared to purchase. Tecmo Koei say you’re working on it, but its already available I’m the US. Does it really take more than aa week to fix whatever issue is causing the delay?

eddibhoy 25 June, 2014 @ 3:09 pm   14

Any chance of making Locoroco Midnight Carnival vita compatible?

    AlexAtkinUK 25 June, 2014 @ 5:05 pm

I have lost all hope in any more PSP games being made compatible.

Its really frustrating as I bought the PSP Burnout games before I got my Vita with the intention of playing them, they are compatible in the US but not EU.

These are PSP games for crying out loud, its not like they have PAL/NTSC compatibility issues. It doubly sucks as I could never play them properly on my PSP as the screen is too blurry.

Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:09 pm   15

SCE should forbid employees giving interviews. Most of times people giving interviews are incompetent and are only doing harm to SCE.

The last interview with Shahid Ahmad was disasters!

“People buy systems to play good games. Good indie games are good games. Ergo, people are buying Vitas to play indie games”

source:
playstationlifestyle.net/2014/06/23/playstations-shahid-ahmad-people-are-buying-ps-vita-indie-games/

    XDerKleineX 25 June, 2014 @ 3:21 pm

Indie games are for the most part the filler between the big releases, the Vita can’t survive on filler alone.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:31 pm

    @XDerKleineX
I admit that I’m buying some indie titles… hell I even do everything to bring World End Economica (and I’m doing job of incompetent employees of SCEE that are not even replying emails)… but I DIDN’T BUY IT FOR INDIES!

For god sake… i didn’t buy it for remote play, playstation NOW or indies!

I DEMAND THAT SCE WILL POST QUESTIONNAIRE ASKING WHY DID PEOPLE BUY VITA AND WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING!

I’m fed up with you incompetent employees blabbering nonsense! Those people have usualy 0 idea of what they can and what they can’t say! You don’t even need Black PR… you are doing it yourself!

    dark_angel69 25 June, 2014 @ 3:59 pm

^ Questionnaire is a good idea. I didn’t buy for remote play, PS Now or indies either. Simply just bought mine to play the kind of games I enjoy when when I’m not at home. Indies isn’t one of them.

    AlexAtkinUK 25 June, 2014 @ 5:07 pm

So true. I have more or less given up on my Vita, tried using it once or twice for Remote Play on the PS4 but the WiFi is so flaky it keeps dropped out – even directly connected to my PS4 a metre away.

When are you going to announce Plus games?

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:11 pm

They changed the system. It will be every month in the first week, no more yearlys.

    Fleexie 25 June, 2014 @ 3:20 pm

    gta5rockt
I think they mentioned that they would announce the PS+ IGC titles the last Wednesday in the month and then the first Wednesday in the following month, you would be able to get them.

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 3:25 pm

Read my last reply on comment #11.2

    DavoTheDiv 25 June, 2014 @ 3:37 pm

    We should get it today.

thatbasedgamer 25 June, 2014 @ 3:10 pm   17

Jesus Christ when are we ever going to see a Persona sale? No im not talkimg about 4, im talking about the overpriced Persona 3 and 2 which are OLD GAMES, yet overpriced. You just recycle the same damn games to put on sale. Seriously glad I made a Us account because you people just take the p***!

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:19 pm

It is fault of ATLUS, they are the one who are discriminating Europe.

I don’t think it’s Atlus per se. There’s Atlus US and no Atlus EU. The EU version of Persona 3 is published by Ghostlight. I think it’s the same for Persona 2.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:38 pm

    @Izorpo
Partialy it is… those guys don’t give a single thought about Europe. It is sure that they can’t make sales for those titles which are in hands of Ghostlight and NISA… but it’s not like there aren’t any published games by ATLUS.

AND WE ARE BIGGER MARKET FOR BOTH PS3 and VITA.

That’s why I’m boycoting Atlus, Square Enix and Aksysgames… I won’t tolerate discrimination of bigger market.

    @archacus

Neither Askys or Atlus have an EU publisher, the same came be said for XSeed (why so many titles are digital only in EU). Square-Enix on the other hand can and does publish in EU and their treatment of Europe is appalling by only offering certain releases digital which is why I will never buy a Square-Enix product ever again.

It doesn’t matter who has the bigger market share for PS3, vita or PS4, if they don’t have a publisher in the EU its only going to be digital. This is why I import physical versions.

Sega now owns Atlus (both the JP and US) the only difference is the US has Atlus US bringing titles to them whereas Europe doesn’t. It’s not a case of Atlus discriminating against Europe, as there is no Atlus Europe…might be better to ask why Ghostlight stopped publishing Atlus titles in Europe.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 6:34 pm

    @Izorpo
That’s the thing… Atlus is trying out their new policy. They don’t want 3rd parties acting like a publisher in Europe they said that they prefer to publish things only in digital form to be able to hold right to those titles and control things like sales. (sad excuse because they have already titles on PSM and didn’t care to get us better prices or sales)

So no… it is not fault of either NISa or Ghostlight

    @Archaus

NISA is the US version of Nippon Ichi Software. They use to publish the Atelier games in Europe (now its Tecmo Koei). They publish games like Hyperdimension series, Disgaea series etc.

Atlus is owned by Sega, Sega does publish in Europe under the name Sega not Atlus. Sega is notorious for not releasing games in the west. Ghostlight published the Shin Megami Tensei games on the DS/3DS, so they are still publishing stuff outside of Agarest and SMT titles are related to the Persona series (Persona is a spin-off of them). Atlus does not make the business decisions, Sega does

You seem to think all of these game companies and publishers are related, they aren’t. They are separate companies. It’s like thinking you can buy a Burger King Whopper at Mc Donalds, you can’t.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 7:42 pm

    @Izorpo
I never said that those companies are related, quite opposite. Please do not treat me like some sort of casual gamer who doesn’t know a thing. And I don’t know where did you see something that indicates that I think that companies are related. Ghostlight, Square-Enix and NISA can’t publish games in Europe unless Atlus agrees on that… that’s the case. They (atlus) don’t want it.

And yes Nippon Ichi Software AMERICA is one of the publishers of Atlus games in Europe. Example: Persona 4 Golden or Etrian Odyssey

And no… the decision is up to Atlus Japan they are the one who decides on things like that… yeah I know that they are subsidiary company to Sega but the doesn’t change the fact that the one who decided on that is non other than atlus. Just like they decided that they won’t publish SMT IV that was even before SEGA took over them)

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 7:50 pm

    @Izorpo
And before you reply: yes I know that SMT IV is finally coming to Europe.

MissHelenJune 25 June, 2014 @ 3:10 pm   18

Please can we get an update on Atelier Rorona Plus on the UK/EU PSN Store? I have been unable to find any information on the delay so far from Sony and had (at the very least) expected it to be mentioned in this update. Silence isn’t good customer service. Thank you.

You are aware that physical version of it is released in UK and for less than £30 at places like Zavvi

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 4:12 pm

    @Izopo
That’s the PS3 version, He’s on about the Vita version.

    @supersmith

they didn’t mention vita version, and if a game is released on both PS3 and vita at the same time I will always buy the PS3 version (ditty OLED screen or big nice telly screen – telly will win every time)

    MissHelenJune 2 July, 2014 @ 12:02 pm

Thank you both but yes I was referring to the Vita version, the PS3 version won’t be as much use during my daily commute 😉 Last I heard was it might/should pop up in today’s update post so here’s hoping.

Also I’m a “she”. I don’t really mind but the “Miss” is a bit of a give away 🙂

INS1GHTFUL 25 June, 2014 @ 3:10 pm   19

Hi
is the PS+ update happening today?
Is there any truth to the leak that strider will be on +? That would be awesome if so!

    MWorldII 25 June, 2014 @ 3:13 pm

PS Plus update first wednesday every mouth.

    INS1GHTFUL 25 June, 2014 @ 3:21 pm

i wasnt very clear. I meant the blog post telling us what will be in PS+. Since the update in next week, will we find out what games are in the update today?

MWorldII 25 June, 2014 @ 3:10 pm   20

Nice, Valiant Hearts in UK cost £12 and in Russia £15. Why so high price in Russia?

gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:11 pm   21

Another World cross-buy and a pretty good price. Thats nice 🙂

    TargetFinderKing 26 June, 2014 @ 8:02 am

Ass Creed 3 is also a very underrated gate. It is excellent if you get thru the tutorial and got amazing huge open sceneries looking just beautiful on ps3. And the melee fighting is a lot of fun.

GametimeUK 25 June, 2014 @ 3:12 pm   22

It’s my birthday so great timing in this sale. Woooooo! When will we be seeing Counter Strike available on PS store? I still haven’t seen it officially canceled and the last official news was it is still happening.

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 3:14 pm

To be honest GametimeUK I don’t think we’ll ever get CS:GO now. It’s just quietly cancelled but your best bet is buy it off Steam. It plays so much better with the mouse and keyboard other than the controller.

    TrueMurton 25 June, 2014 @ 3:53 pm

CS:GO failed QA for Europe. Valve can fix the failing points and resubmit it for QA and, if it passes, we can buy it. They haven’t sent it back in though.

Can’t blame people for not knowing about this, gaming news sites are genuinely afraid of Valve, if you upset those guys it could mean an end to free Steam codes which makes reviewing PC games nigh on impossible.

onlineatron 25 June, 2014 @ 3:12 pm   23

hey, i’ve got valiant hearts in my cart, trying to checkout but getting an error message after clicking ‘order & pay.’ anyone else having this problem?

THUNDERCAT1973 25 June, 2014 @ 3:13 pm   24

some good stuff on sale but as always the price of new stuff is laughable and a insult to your costumers, and looking at PlayStation now its a trend that’s set to continue . just who came up with the pricing for PlayStation now, digital will never take of, if you have to pay more than a physical copy.

    alphastreamz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:21 pm

Digital already took of …. on the PC. Seeing the digital prices on PS4 and even the retail prices now makes me sad and kind of re-thinking the whole “being a console gamer” route.

    THUNDERCAT1973 25 June, 2014 @ 3:26 pm

i should of said consoles, why cant we see something like the xbox one were i have seen games at a fraction of the price with getting a”key” from some sites. any reason why this can’t be done for the ps4 or is it a case of greed.

    cowbanana 25 June, 2014 @ 4:21 pm

Spot on. Prices for new games on PSN make me laugh like a crazy man and when there’s a sale going on I look at the prices and laugh even harder. Meanwhile I’m throwing money at the Steam sales and grabbing more great PC deals than I can possibly play, which means even less incentive to buy anything on PSN.

I doesn’t seem like Sony are even remotely close to getting the whole pricing thing. PS Now is stillborn as far as I can see. The rental prices are ridiculous to the point of being farcical.

StevenJamesHyde 25 June, 2014 @ 3:13 pm   25

No Blue Estate demo?

    ThugETH 25 June, 2014 @ 4:13 pm

I know lol devs say demo today but SCEE says nothing 🙁

    StevenJamesHyde 25 June, 2014 @ 5:01 pm

More than that, the devs spend two entire blog entires saying that the demo is the only way to appreciate how good their new and unique control system is, and imploring us all to try it before buying the game. How many sales have been lost?

The demo is in store. I’m already downloading it.

Yeah, It doesn’t say anything about it here, but it’s there.

Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark
Price: £59.99/€69.99/$99.95

Let me paste this again:
Price: £59.99/€69.99/$99.95

… aaaaaaahahahahahahahahaa!!

    webbiies 25 June, 2014 @ 3:18 pm

It’s actually cheaper when you log into ps store, AUS pricing lists it as $69.95 in ps4 store

    CShasuki 25 June, 2014 @ 3:23 pm

No panic, it will be reduced by 20$ in an awesome sale in the future lol -_-

    Alondate31 25 June, 2014 @ 4:05 pm

I am glad they dont want that 5 cent

    cowbanana 25 June, 2014 @ 4:23 pm

I’ll add a couple of laughs, here they come… Bwahahahahahahahaha… mwaha. hah.

    Back to the Steam sales.

BaLRoG_ZA 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm   27

Ugh. WHERE are the Rocksmith songs?!?!?! PLEASE tell me you just did not mention them above, but they will be in the store.

Really don’t know who runs SCEE, but whoever it is, maybe take note of all the weekly, recurring complaints that are posted and try and improve. It can’t be that difficult.

Arqus_Zed 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm   28

SO, I’M JUST GONNA ASK THE SAME QUESTION I’VE BEEN ASKING FOR THREE WEEKS NOW, IN THE HOPE I CAN FINALLY GET AN ANSWER THIS TIME (IN ALL CAPS, AS PROMISED). SO, HERE GOES: “WILL THE PS2 CLASSIC SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: LUCIFER’S CALL COME TO THE PLAYSTATION STORE?”

PLEASE ANSWER WITH: “Yes.”, “No.” OR “I don’t know, but I’ll try to ask the guy who normally knows such things and then come back to you.”

(Look, I just want to know whether there’s a point in waiting for the EU-release or if I should just go ahead and buy it from the US Store, okay?)

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:21 pm

Yes, No, Only you seem to care.

    sakulukk 25 June, 2014 @ 3:26 pm

Regarding SMT games in Europe (those old ones from PS2) its better to ask Ghostlight directly, they are very responsive to gamers. Anyway they already said that they have no news about Lucifer’s Call but you can always ping them again on FB/twitter/their blog.

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:41 pm

    @gta5rockt
No not only him… please behave

    cowbanana 25 June, 2014 @ 4:32 pm

I want that game badly as well. You are NOT alone. But nooo… we can’t have the great stuff.

Have some €69.99 Transformers junk instead… bah!

    Arqus_Zed 25 June, 2014 @ 8:11 pm

    Thanks for the info sakulukk.

xYakuzaz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:16 pm   29

Nice job guys! This is the best sale we’ve had all year! Absolutely fantastic offerings at even better prices! Thanks for finally putting R&C Trilogy on sale and also TWD S2 at just €6.49 is an exceptional deal! Keep it up!

Goldjit 25 June, 2014 @ 3:17 pm   30

If I buy The Ratchet & Clank™ Trilogy now, will I get the PS Vita versions for free when they come out in over a week’s time?

    xYakuzaz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:25 pm

Assuming it’s the same as J&D & Sly Trilogies, yes but i can’t be certain.

    lumoplusjess 25 June, 2014 @ 3:36 pm

Seeing as Jak and Daxter, Sly, and God Of War were all cross buy, it seems like a given. But one can never be too careful, sony might just decide to screw vita owners again. Think I’m going to go for it anyway and hope.

    Goldjit 25 June, 2014 @ 4:36 pm

Alright I’m risking it… … Oh God, this is going to bite me later isn’t it… but it’s worth the risk. Good bye £13.49! Be worth it!

    markopolouk 25 June, 2014 @ 8:50 pm

The description section on the webstore states “Buy this game for PS Vita or PS3™ to get it for both systems.” so I think it is Crossbuy.

BaLRoG_ZA 25 June, 2014 @ 3:17 pm   31

And I don’t see the sales price reflecting on Fight Night Champion for PS3 yet.

*sigh*

matkingdomhearts 25 June, 2014 @ 3:18 pm   32

Hey Jawad, are we going to see a Saints Row 4 DLCs sale any time soon? I hope so, I’m in love with the game and I was considering grabbing the two DLCs (storywise), but only if they get cheaper 🙂
Anyway I think I’ll grab Batman and L.A. Noire, although my schedule is already busy with my big backlog: so many game, so little time…

The season pass actually makes it a lot cheaper think it was less than £6 for both dlc and some added weapons and clothes

Xenikun 25 June, 2014 @ 3:18 pm   33

Still no sign of our cute alchemist waifu, Rorona? I am disappoint.

I3loodthirsty 25 June, 2014 @ 3:18 pm   34

The sniper elite 3 price is different than on the store.blog price 49,99 but on the store it shows as 44,99 yet another case with scee where the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing

alphastreamz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:18 pm   35

Transformers 30 Euro on Steam. Here 69.99 … Good deal. I forgot that developing on PS4 is now very very expensive. Somehow you have to fill the 8 GB ram…

    cowbanana 25 June, 2014 @ 4:42 pm

If you have a nice PC there’s little reason to buy a PS4 at the moment, all it has is inferior, more expensive versions of multiplatform games. Oh and re-masters of old games we’ve played already.

    Quinlank 27 June, 2014 @ 12:48 am

Also has Resogun and Infamous Second Son, two truly fantastic games.

XDerKleineX 25 June, 2014 @ 3:19 pm   36

Soooo how about releasing that Borderlands 2 update? Sure, it doesn’t fix most of the major the things it was supposed to fix, but come on, it was supposed to be out LAST FRIDAY. Release it already. At least the week-end delay kind of made sense, but this is starting to get ridiculous. It’s been 5 days, and the blog post from friday still says that it’s out “today” (as in friday).

Can anyone tell when the announcement of the PSPlus titles for July will be?
Thanks a lot!

Hooray for Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga becoming available for the remaining countries! Now only 3 to go. (Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2, Chaos code and Blazblue chronophantasma)

So I guess I got excited to soon, seeing how Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga still nowhere to be found. Looked at latest games, classics, rpg’s and did a manual search. All zero results. So either you guys forget to make it actually available or still aren’t done updating a day later or the info about available to which countries is wrong.

webbiies 25 June, 2014 @ 3:20 pm   39

PS4 pricing for Sniper Elite 3 and Transformers are considerably cheaper in psn ps4 store than what is listed in blog. Sniper Elite is $77.95 AUD and Transformers is $69.95 AUD

CShasuki 25 June, 2014 @ 3:21 pm   40

Resogun deal of the week? lol
Weak sauce Sony. All those PS3 games seem to be always on sale. And PS4 game prices are retarded (except for killzone and knack)
Certainly wouldn’t recommend buying a PS4 to anyone, at least for another year.

    alphastreamz 25 June, 2014 @ 3:25 pm

and we did buy it on release day… sad days to be a console gamer

    THUNDERCAT1973 25 June, 2014 @ 3:29 pm

is good stuff out and coming out by the end of the year for the ps4, i would recommended getting one, but i would recommend not buying games digitally!

Brampod 25 June, 2014 @ 3:22 pm   41

Great sale! I’ll be picking up Walking Dead S2 and Escape Plan Collection. I’m also tempted to download Patapon 3. Could you please arrange a discount on Gensan (PSP)? Especially now the PSP is retiring, it might be a good idea to drop the prices on all PSP games.

    adumr82 25 June, 2014 @ 6:49 pm

Pretty frustrated that the Vita version of Walking Dead S2 doesn’t get reduced as much as the PS3 version. Its bad enough its not cross buy but we get screwed at sales too.

madmanwithabox12 25 June, 2014 @ 3:22 pm   42

Poor week for Vita. Two games and they’re both on the other systems. Vita needs some of that loving too, it’s almost painful seeing a great game like Valiant Hearts under both PS3 and PS4, but not on Vita.

Roxas598 25 June, 2014 @ 3:24 pm   43

The walking dead discount is might tempting anyone know if the vita version stutters like crazy like the first one?

also I lol’d a bit too hard on the price of transformers xD Activison need to do one.

PS. Jawad any idea what’s happening with the BL2 vita patch?

sakulukk 25 June, 2014 @ 3:24 pm   44

2 questions!
When is Atelier Rorona+ going live on the store?

What happened to “New this week” section on Polish store (from ps3)? :/

Thanks!

ThugETH 25 June, 2014 @ 3:25 pm   45

@Fred @Jawad The Dustforce Alpha map pack can not be downloaded on Vita or webstore, there is no DOWNLOAD button for the FREE content, I believe it is because we bought the game with a plus discount day 1.
The Gamma map pack is also free but is nowhere to be found on either store even though it was in the store update post like a month ago!

Will this ever be sorted out? I refuse to again phone the useless support and spend my own money to fix SCEE’s problem.

SHEPOWY 25 June, 2014 @ 3:25 pm   46

Wow. Those are some incredible deals that i’ll definitely look into partaking in. Is there any chance we can perhaps get a discount on the Walking Dead Season One DLC 400 Days? Telltale are always really nice to use with sales, but i’d love to see 400 Days discounted to maybe half price with a 10% PS Plus discount. I’d definitely purchase it if it was on offer for that price. Thanks again Blog team 😀

So I’m guessing we won’t be getting Blazblue Code Embryo? Guess I will be importing it as per usual.

These sale prices seem a bit naff considering most of these titles have been on sale for less in the past. As you keep putting Kingdom of Amalur up in the sales, could you maybe at least attempt to put the dlc on sale at some point?

Dynasty Warriors Gundam I pre-ordered at a lesser price, the same for One Piece Unlimited World Red. There is absolutely no incentive for buying anything digital, unless its XSeed which seem to think that people don’t have friends in other regions and therefore prohibit regions from playing with each other (Ragnarok Odyssey Ace).

    Archacus 25 June, 2014 @ 3:42 pm

Visit aksysgames page and leave good comment.

    supersmith2500 25 June, 2014 @ 4:18 pm

This is problem, they don’t have any EU publishing offices and I always hated digital only games.

Wait? Ragnarok Odyssey Ace’s online play is region locked?

Yeah, if you have the physical import copy can only play with US players, the EU digital can only play with EU players. So I have 2 versions, one to play with US friends and 1 to play with EU.

    @archacus

Askys doesn’t have a publisher in EU, however when they released Hakuoki: Stories of The Shinsengumi they did release the EU digital version the following day. I ordered the Limited Edition in advance, however just purchased Blazblue Code Embryo so its release if ever on EU PSN is now null and void.

GlennBuster 25 June, 2014 @ 3:26 pm   48

I wonder why SCEE has issues getting Atelier Rorona Plus up on the PSN store while the SCEA could getit out on the day it was released… When can we expect that game to come out? Cause I am kinda done with waiting for it when it should have been out days before.

Hi Jawad!
Any news about missing BGMs from Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends DLC Stage & BGM pack 9 & 10 on PS3?

mattmarenghi01 25 June, 2014 @ 3:31 pm   50

This sale is amazing! Thanks guys.

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 3:41 pm

Which games do you think are amazing in price? Please post and share 🙂

    NorthernFusion 25 June, 2014 @ 4:24 pm

    It’s his opinion, stop trolling.

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 4:38 pm

NorthernFusion you are a horrible person, I just want to know which games people are buying because there *is* some good sales here

    mattmarenghi01 25 June, 2014 @ 5:51 pm

Just on a personal level, there are a lot of things I’ve been waiting for. (Bioshock Infinite Season Pass and Walking Dead Season 2 for example). I think there’s something for almost everyone this week. It’s better when there are loads of games to choose from. Particularly ones that haven’t been on sale before or not for a long time.

    gta5rockt 25 June, 2014 @ 6:32 pm

yeah you are right, i think i am buying the walking dead pass too. got the bioshock infinite one already didnt like it a lot … even tho the last dlc was better.
