Stunning new Rime trailer debuts at Gamescom 2014

A tantalising sneak preview of what Tequila Works’ PS4 adventure holds in store

Hi everyone. It’s our absolute pleasure to show you the new Gamescom 2014 Rime trailer. We’ve been working incredibly hard on it and we really hope you enjoy this sneak preview.

For those who are new to the game, Rime is set in a unique ancient world of mystery, intrigue and adventure. Set on a beautiful island, a boy wakes on the shore to find he’s lost, with the only the island and the animals to accompany him.

You guide the boy through the island helping him unlock the puzzles, in the trailer you can see that there are puzzles all around and finding them is just a matter of perspective, (Did you see the fox? Watch the trailer again!)

As well as following the story of the boy, the island is also an integral character in the game, and it will not give up its hidden secrets easily. Who is the boy? Why is the boy here? Why is he alone? Ultimately the game is to find the answers to all of these important questions.

In a beautifully crafted world, you will see stunning vistas as you play through the game and delve deep into the islands true meaning. We know that you will love this highly emotional experience and we are looking forward to bringing this to you exclusively on the PS4 and sharing more with you over the coming months.

Did you enjoy this?

Looking forward to play this game. If it is as good as it looks like.

Need this now, I have been waiting patiently since it’s announcement last year!

Best in the whole show! Release date please

This game is so gorgeous. I marked Rime out as one of my most anticipated PS4 titles when it was first announced, and it still is. Such a great Wind Waker/ICO vibe from both the art style and gameplay. It looks fantastic and i can’t wait to hear more (especially a release date).

Rime looks absolutely beautiful. The colours, the environments, the quirky puzzles and exploration we’ve seen… one of the few indie games that has really stood out to me from Sony’s lineup. You’d have to be crazy to not be excited for this game.

After WiLD the second most promising title from the PlayStation press conference.
Oh, the scene with the rain was my favorite. Looks splendid!

Probably the best thing at this conference for me. I love those type of games that make you feel like a clueless kid in a wonderful dream. Looks stunning as well. Seriously hope this has a decent amount of hours to it and it’s not an experience of only a couple of hours like Journey.

Looking forward to this. I got a sort of ICO crossed with Kingdom Hearts vibe from that trailer.
