For those who want to know, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition is releasing Oct 15th.

4J just tweeted it.

And for all those that own it on PS3, it’s a free title for your Vita :-)

It’s a shame that Half Minute Hero in the sale wasn’t popular enough to enter the chart, but at least Virtue’s Last Reward did well.

Although VR outselling both Dangans –the first one that was on sale even outselling the second one– is pretty crazy…

…but Murasaki Baby at number 3 only has 246 ratings…

…and Fifa 15 at number 5 has 7 ratings…

Yeah, we really need sales numbers for all of this to make sense. :/

European_Gamer 09 October, 2014 @ 16:12

What do you mean about ratings? Likes or comments on blog posts?

zalwelgoedgaan 09 October, 2014 @ 16:22

I mean the ratings on the web store. They are excellent if you want to see how much a title sold _at least_ (granted if it doesn’t have a demo version/Crossbuy/PS+ that will inflate that number), but other than that, much remains a mystery.

KorialstraszZ 09 October, 2014 @ 16:57

Nothing Crazy about VLR, it was on sale for €9.

It’s good to see that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment keeps the top spot.

European_Gamer 09 October, 2014 @ 16:11

Plus, Don’t Starve and Murasaki Baby as 2 and 3.

I love the fact it keeps offering free DLC too.

European_Gamer 09 October, 2014 @ 17:01

I hope that Bandai Namco decide to also release the sequel Sword Art Online: Lost Song in Europe.

This is what happens then Notch is too evil with the charts. With his money!

I’m just not mainstream enough – none of the ‘top’ games were any good for me…

Not too sure how you can fairly judge a games position, in chart etc, when one cost is it 3.99 upgrade or just £14 ish anyway?, against another/s Destiny/FIFA which cost much more, Destiny for example most of the sales were for the Gaurdian edition, £84.99, so how does this work exactly, given those differences, anyway am yet to take leap into Minecraft, even demo, in case i become ‘changed’, hear it has that affect on people, very addictive game.

madmanwithabox12 09 October, 2014 @ 17:56

Genuine question. Why do you do PS1 and PS2 but not PSP?

Because PSP is now a dead system to Sony. They’ve also shut down PSN on them.

madmanwithabox12 10 October, 2014 @ 10:53

I’m not so sure about that being the reason, because the simple fact is they still sell PSP games digitally. Not only that, but PS1 and PS2 have been dead systems for years. I mean surely PSP classics sell more than PS2 classics?

His is fifa15 selling in the vita charts I heard it doesn’t have online play anymore…bizarre!

As European_Gamer mentioned above, a follow-on game to Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is currently in the works over in Japan.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song will be set in ALfheim Online, will include a flying mechanic, and will feature a new-to-the-game “SvartALfheimr” region, akin to how SAO:HF featured the previously-unseen Hollow Area.

It should show up for Vita and PS3 in 2015 over in Japan.

Hopefully it will get a PS4 port.

Japan games are taking over! Good to see that.

It never fails to sadden me when so many people buy from the PSN at those prices. As long as people are buying in sufficient number the 60% price hike we pay over It S will be seen as acceptable.

I expect the vita version will also claim no.1

Would be cool if we could get online acticity of games aswell. Curious to see what people play online the most :)
