More or less boring/repetive. How about GTA 5 Upgrade for $9.99 ? Pretty sure its illegal to ask customers to buy the same game twice.

    Mario__4__Life 5 November, 2014 @ 12:05 pm

And where is Heists? I only bought GTA V on ps3 for the Online Heists that were advertised. Can I get a 69.99€ Refund please? Because they are still not in the game which is false advertising and illegal.

If it’s the same game why would you buy it again?

I don’t think the next gen version of GTA does not count as “the same game” as the engine etc got way better (graphics, density, effects, first person mode, additional content)

    Mario__4__Life 5 November, 2014 @ 12:24 pm

We have only seen edited screenshots/footage and strangely yesterdays trailer was mostly at night? Lol? It might look not that much better than ps3 and its the same online mode, the same story… So it should not be ful price again. Call of duty and Destiny were both crossbuy. If Activision can do it why not Rockstar?

    @Joffi

Good one, post of the week! 🙂

They don’t ask you or make you to buy it. If you don’t like the price wait for a sale.

    killah_fury 5 November, 2014 @ 12:29 pm

Don’t be stupid. You bought GTA V for your PS3 – you are not entitled to a cheap or free upgrade.

They are not asking you to buy the same game twice – and even if they did ask it wouldn’t be illegal. GTA V is the most expensive game ever made and the new version for PS4 took a lot of time and resources to create – and now includes new first-person mode.

If you do upgrade -as an existing customer you get lots of extra content and bonuses. I think that’s fair enough.

Why don’t you ask the guys who made the game Rockstar Games such a question but why not use one of your other personas like “gta5rockt” which suits the situation better. Also wouldn’t you need to own an actual PS4 to make such a demand as you said you don’t a while back? But wait, you can listen to your language mp3s on PS4 now so I guess you do have one then yeah? ^_^

    Mario__4__Life 5 November, 2014 @ 12:56 pm

Yes customers are entitled to satisfaction and good service even from Rockstar and Sony. Else the companies will go bankrupt and lose everything. Well Sony already lost over a billion customers to android.

@Mario: they don’t owe you anything, entitled guy. A refund for something (the heists) you’re probably going to get for FREE? Gimme a break. I don’t remember Blizzard getting sued for the lack of PVP modes in Diablo 3.

    lizziebear66 5 November, 2014 @ 1:27 pm

yes would be better if they did an upgrade price

    HereComesDizz 5 November, 2014 @ 1:51 pm

Its not the same game for starters. Plenty of improvements plus first person experience. If its the same game why are you buying it again

    JohnParry 5 November, 2014 @ 1:57 pm

There’s absolutely no benefit Rockstar in offering a discounted upgrade price of $9.99 simply due to the fact that it will sell millions of copies at £54.99 without even trying. Also, the amount of extra work they’ve put into the new versions means that an upgrade like that would likely mean they’d be losing money on each copy sold.

It’s simple matter of there being no sense at all in offering an upgrade price like that however you look at it. It’s always the customer that sets the sale price of an item, if Rockstar have the price right then people will buy it and if they don’t, people won’t and they’ll either lose money or reassess the price.

It’s simple economics, what something is worth is controlled by what people are willing to pay for it.

The options that people have are to buy the new version at whatever price you can find it at or to not buy the new version at whatever price you can find it at. They’re the only options that are needed.

Pretty sure your wrong and its not the exact same game anyway. If i owned an Xbox should i get that version free too.

    TroubleMaker411 5 November, 2014 @ 1:59 pm

    dear Lord.
    1. No one is asking/telling/forcing you to buy it again
    2. Online Heists were advertised as a future game mode, so until R* stop supporting the game or flat out tell you the heists ain’t coming, monthlong has been falsely advertised.
    3. For Christ’s sake get over yourself

HA! “Illegal to ask customers to buy the game twice” HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

    diehardest13 5 November, 2014 @ 3:08 pm

No ones asking you to buy it twice.

*scrolls down the page to PS4 section* … Oh.

    DavoTheDiv 5 November, 2014 @ 12:12 pm

With you there. Wasn’t Tomb Raider offered at that price ages ago? Pretty sure I bought it for digitally £19.99 a few weeks after it was released.

    Yup, alongside thief for £25

    lumoplusjess 5 November, 2014 @ 1:17 pm

I got tomb raider from the US store when it was deal of the week over there for $20, equates to around £12.50. Difference in price is horrible still, and the IGC which used to be far better over here is now exactly the same in both regions 🙁

You can get Tomb Raider on Blue-ray for that price.

    The__Ewan 5 November, 2014 @ 11:09 pm

The Tomb Raider price is good, and I’m probably going to get it at that, but it does need to be a permanent price drop – I like getting things digitally, but there’s no way it makes sense to charge the download at over twice what the disc goes for.

This isn’t a ‘deal’ – it’s just bringing it back into line.

Thats a smoking hot deal for Danganronpa 2. Will pick that for sure! Wish i could get Atelier Meruru Plus aswell, but gonna pass this time.

loadstone007s 5 November, 2014 @ 12:07 pm   4

I’d love to get a discount for Danganranpa (the first one) as well. Can you help with that? 🙂

    ste_the_legend 5 November, 2014 @ 12:49 pm

That was one of the deals of the week about 3 months ago so you must have missed the boat :/

    SteveButler2210 5 November, 2014 @ 1:02 pm

He’s right I’m afraid, that was their deal of the week at the time Danganronpa 2 released. Glad I picked it up when I did, as I definitely wasn’t expecting the sequel to get a discount so soon!

Porcupeth00 5 November, 2014 @ 12:07 pm   5

Awesome deals! *Vita love*
high 5 vita owners
Let’s hug
and buy games
And hug again
*much love*

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited
Was £34.99/€39.99/AU$54.95, now £11.99/€14.99/AU$22.95
10% additional PS Plus discount

Is that right? if so that’s a massive discount already! and i’ll happily oblige

OH MY GOD YOU ACTUALLY PUT HARD CORPS: UPRISING ON SALE.

beast.

I gave up months ago and got it for full price lol. But now i’ll probably get Rush & Attack 😀

Dunno, I might get tempted by Tomb Raider, gonna wait and see. It’s a tough month though, Samurai Warriors 4, Wolf Among Us, AC Unity, DA Inquisition, sigh.

I considered but think it’ll be on plus soon along with a lot of these games.

    SteveButler2210 5 November, 2014 @ 1:05 pm

That’d be a bit of a kick in the nuts if TR:DE goes on ps+ any time soon. Wasn’t it less than a year ago that we got given the regular old PS3 version for free?

Well they’ve announced Nov, Dec and Jan PS4 games, so if TR:DE goes on PS+ it’ll be Feb at the earliest – plenty of space between (sale and PS+)

Hmm… seems that there is nothing for me.

Conception 2 – Atlus being funny yet again… you can buy new for around 17-20 $ retail copy… huh… I’m still quite annoyed by lack of retail… will buy some time later used copy as my own personal penalty. (it will be my first used copy)

Danganronpa 2 – that’s nice deal, seeing as retail is still quite expensie that price drop is nice. Still as I am collecting this for sure with nice retail, I’m going to pass.

Anyway, I will still wait for more PSP games… and SEGA sale would be nice… seeing as VC is coming to PCs with not bad price (+ it is bundle)…

Oh… and are we getting today free Freedom Wars DLCs like NA?

Isn’t it pointless comparing digital and retail prices……..

Conception is retail in the US, not in Europe. Wanna pay import tax on that copy? *wink* wink*

    @TVR-77
Well yeah… retails have bigger value than digitals

    @aariops
what import tax? Below 22 EUR there is no VAT added 😉

    @aariops
Oh wait… you mean custom fee? it is just 8%

@Archachus: It depends from place to place. While in Germany they don’t tax anything up to €150. In Portugal, the law is not cleaar and quite often you end up pay for anything… Sad times!

Y u do dis to my wallet Sony -.- disegea 4, danganronpa 2 and tales of xillia 2 all on sale at the same time ?!…… *opens wallet*

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition on PS3 catches my eye 😀

Is it a given that – any game to go on sale for the first time could end up in PS Plus a couple months later?

Faustofausto 5 November, 2014 @ 12:14 pm   12

Thank you SCEE!

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate: $5.39 vs. £13.49
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: $5.39 vs. £13.49
LEGO The Hobbit $13.99 vs. £13.49

Please, multi user support for Vita, let me use a US account beside my profile, because SCEE discounts are usually ridiculous!

I stopped comparing US prices and EU prices…

Me being angry won’t change anything… and I’m way too lazy to have 2 accounts. I mean it works fine if you are on PS3 but if you use Vita… it’s way too much hassle.

    So yeah… :/

Well, it is Sony. They surely have … “reasons”. Right? *cough*

    @Golwar
Truth to be said… we only know about VAT being one reason.

It is hassle :/ you know when you are importing physical goods there is VAT exemption for small packages (but the price must be below 22 EUR)… but when it comes to digital services you have to pay VAT every time you are buying something.

Well… as a matter of fact… it’s not fault of EU law. It is fault of traders… without their cooperation EU can’t do anything to apply VAT exemption for digital services.

    So yeah… that’s one reason.

Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland
Was £32.99/€39.99/AU$59.95, now £15.99/€19.99/AU$29.95
10% additional PS Plus discount

Godd**n, just add meruru to russian store already. Please. At least check with KT, they are saying that paperwork is done months ago.

Disgaea 4 on sale…less than half price?

weaselpipe 5 November, 2014 @ 12:19 pm   15

The Vita deals are pretty spectacular, glad I held back on Disgaea 4!
I may have to pick it up, along with either an Atelier or Producing perfection.

I was a bit disappointed in producing perfection as a big hyper dimension fan, but I bought at the same price in the last sale and at that price it’s not bad. If you could only choose one and definitely recommend one the atelier games

    weaselpipe 5 November, 2014 @ 12:39 pm

Thank you for your input, I shall take your advice!

    NorthernFusion 5 November, 2014 @ 1:03 pm

Go for Atelier, a much better deal than PP for that price, not that PP is a bad game, mind you, but <£10 is a better price for it.

blade1003605 5 November, 2014 @ 12:21 pm   16

Danganronpa 2 already on sale? Count on me!

I could do without all these great vita deals. I haven’t even opened my freedom wars yet.

magmar126 5 November, 2014 @ 12:22 pm   18

For DCUO, iis only the DLC discounted or will there also be a discount for the subscriptions?

Mario__4__Life 5 November, 2014 @ 12:22 pm   19

Feel sorry for the poor chap who with every sale has to write a hundret times:

10% additional PS Plus discount

Will more games be added to this sale in the coming weeks Jawad? Being up until the 27th seems a long time. Also, will Playstation Store be running any Black Friday deals for those of us in the EU?

    KaneTheGoth 5 November, 2014 @ 1:02 pm

I hope we get the Black Friday discounts again… they had some great offers last year!

    Jawad Ashraf 5 November, 2014 @ 2:09 pm

    No new additions.

Nothing to confirm regarding other promotions yet, but always stay tuned here for news on that front.

Why would Europe have Black Friday sales? You do understand that as Europe doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving it doesn’t have Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving (last Thurs in November and is a huge holiday in the US) is the biggest shopping day of the year before Christmas in North America. If you want to celebrate Thanksgiving hope you have some smallpox infected blankets to give the natives as you would be so thankful to get rid of them and steal their land….because that’s what the 4 day holiday is all about.

So shall we start celebrating the Fourth of July next? You know when a bunch of “terrorists” engaged in guerrilla warfare as a means to breaking away from Great Britain as the colonists refused to pay tax on tea to support a war Britain had with France. Which reminds me if it hadn’t been for France there would be no US today.

    X_Blood_Curse_X 5 November, 2014 @ 4:09 pm

    @Izorpo

Steady on now, the guy just wants more game sales thats all 😛

    KaneTheGoth 7 November, 2014 @ 6:25 pm

Izorpo – relax a bit. Many European companies indulge in Black Friday sales, and why shouldn’t they? Black Friday itself has no cultural significance, unlike Thanksgiving. You even supported this yourself by saying it’s the biggest shopping day before Christmas – hence “in the Black”… as opposed to “in the red”.

Feel free to not take part in any of the sales if you feel aggrieved though 🙂

Aces73High 5 November, 2014 @ 12:25 pm   21

Really want Danganronpa for my Vita, but it’s the sequel 🙁

Still a great price though!

jon_h_blake 5 November, 2014 @ 12:29 pm   22

I used to hear or read American people complaining about US PSN discounts. And they say European ones are better than US.I think sometimes European we have better ones and other times American have better ones. The only thing European users don’t have are Flash sales. But I’m happy with EU discounts.I have 50 games thanks to these monthly discounts.

No wonder Christmas is around the corner. Awesome discounts. but, still missing something interesting for PS4.

So much love for Vita. Thank You Sony.

you forgot to mention Metro Redux is £19.99 till the 10 Nov i believe for PS4

QuietlyWrong 5 November, 2014 @ 12:37 pm   26

Danganronpa 2 for £14.99! Excellent!

If only the original game had ever been on sale at such a price point… *hint hint*

silent_strike95 5 November, 2014 @ 12:39 pm   27

Congratulations Sony, you just drained me of over £60

I’d like to buy Lego Marvel and Blackgate Vita but they are like $5 on the US store so I’ll get them there I think!

lost2fable 5 November, 2014 @ 12:44 pm   29

WOW! I mean… WOW! I got a boner looking at the vita offers… Disgaea 4 and Worms Revolution Extreme for me! Plus all the games we’re geting this month with the plus subscription… I was losing faith on you guys… now I want to marry you <3

CookieMonsterES 5 November, 2014 @ 12:46 pm   30

Vita deals are excellent, good job guys!

I’d like to request some discounts in the Marvel Pinball tables so we can make good use of the Cross-Buy feature, if that were possible. Thanks, Jawad.

ste_the_legend 5 November, 2014 @ 12:51 pm   31

Pretty good sale, just sucks that I bought Danganronpa 2 last week for full price at retail 🙁

zalwelgoedgaan 5 November, 2014 @ 12:51 pm   32

Lots of games with some nice discounts, but I already have everything that I want. I’ll just buy Minutes and test some PS+ games this week.

It’s strange how the PS3 version of Dragon’s Crown gets ignored, first with IGC, now in this sale…

deadfolk_ie 5 November, 2014 @ 12:55 pm   33

Any chance of looking into getting Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles flagged as Vita compatible?

ScaryRhinos 5 November, 2014 @ 12:55 pm   34

Hey guys, I heard there were deals here? Only joking, I can’t wait to get stuck into Farming Simulator 14.

:oS

TrueMurton 5 November, 2014 @ 12:56 pm   35

Shame that it takes a limited time offer for us to get WarFrame platinum at the same price as the US and European Xbox owners. Can someone please look at price parity between the US and EU stores?

It was announced at E3 2013 that all PS4 games would retain the same RRP as they had on PS3, we didn’t find out until release SCEE weren’t adopting this policy and we would be paying a 50% markup to subsidise the price freeze for America. Ever since then Fred and others on the blog and even Fergal Gara have all said they’re aware of the disparity and are “talking about it” but nothing seems to be happening, here we are, almost 18 months after the price promise was made at E3 and still we’re still in the same situation.

andrewsqual 5 November, 2014 @ 12:58 pm   36

Some nice sales here Jawad, especially for Batman fans 🙂

NorthernFusion 5 November, 2014 @ 1:04 pm   37

No Ateliers for PS3? Damn. Awesome Vita deals though, will pick up Disgaea 4 and everyone else should pick up Danganronpa 2 at that ridiculous price.

Web store hasn’t updated yet… Waiting on that Disgaea price drop, can’t wait dood!

CommonComitatus 5 November, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   39

Dragon’s Crown or Disgaea… decisions, decisions.

Almost glad I already pulled the trigger on Danganronpa a couple weeks ago, or the decision-making would be even worse.

Weren’t the Atelier vita games on sale a month ago or so? The most expensive one was £13 and change (Atelier Rorona Plus) as I picked up all three in that sale. May have to pick up Danganronpa 2; would consider Disgaea 4 but with my backlog not sure I would ever get around to playing it. Will pick up Sparkle 2 though.

Hoping we get all that free Freedom Wars dlc the US got in their store update.

Also it would be nice if in the store update you would list what game avatars are new for the week. I know you have some Samurai Warriors avatars yet the only place they show up is the store via the PC and going through the bad non game avatars to find game ones is very off putting.

Devils_Demon 5 November, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   41

Could you please have another Call of Duty sale? Black Ops 2 is the same price as Advanced Warfare.

There have been COD sales in the past, and the prices were still ridiculous. I recommend buying physical copies as you’ll get them much cheaper (new or used).

Devils_Demon 5 November, 2014 @ 1:38 pm   42

Could you please have a new Call of Duty sale? Black Ops 2 is the same price as Advanced Warfare.

Getting Sparkle 2, thanks!

Neptune_Nee 5 November, 2014 @ 2:19 pm   44

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited !!Yes!!!

Tales of Xillia 2
Was £44.99/€54.99/AU$79.95, now £19.99/€24.99/AU$29.95

But on the New Zealand store it’s listed at $49.95. That MUST be a mistake, right Jawad? $30AUD is $33NZD. Even if you’re converting GPB or Euros it’s still only $40NZD tops. Where the hell is this exchange rate coming from? I could buy it cheaper from the US store and it’s not even on sale there.

RadicalMessiah 5 November, 2014 @ 2:39 pm   46

Fix the price of zombie driver (halloween) ! It ends tomorrow!

madmanwithabox12 5 November, 2014 @ 2:50 pm   47

I expect Danganronpa 2 will shoot to the top of the November sales charts on Vita. Good for them, I loved the first one. 😀

medenko1975 5 November, 2014 @ 2:52 pm   48

LEGO® Marvel™ Super Heroes
US STORE 8,09$ for PS+ !!!!!

That is 5 quid?

If you haven’t played disgaea before then stay away from it. Because once you play it all other RPGs seem so freaking simple that you will grow bored with their primitive combat.
