Great Deals, Chris! Today nobody should complain! Lets celebrate the deals and LIFE! xD

    Chris Howe 12 November, 2014 @ 1:26 pm

Excellent way to look at things! 🙂

    andrewsqual 12 November, 2014 @ 1:44 pm

Then maybe listen to your own advice and don’t say hurtful things like
“Sony is breaking EU law constantly and tricking consumers. The only reason one billion people play on their phones and android now is because Sony offers crap service at 70 euros a game without any refunds or demos usually. You are supposed to BET 70 euros onthat you MIGHT like the game. How stupid is this? Sony will never reach a mass market like hollywood or android like this.”
You said it on this blog post (guess what, another Wednesday)

Don’t believe the lies Chris. He says one thing one week and then will stab you in the back the next.

    preskerd341 12 November, 2014 @ 2:47 pm

Look at his id: ‘Mario__4__Life’ probably a nintendroid

To be honest… he’s not a nintendroid. He’s been trolling around here for years now, creating new accounts when he gets banned. 😀

He’s one of us, but I wish he would be less rude most of the time. He’s been warned (again) a while back, he can say his opinions here as long as he’s not picking any more fights and… well, if he does, he’ll be back again with different name. 🙂

    jerlaak97 12 November, 2014 @ 6:41 pm

Yeah, he’s ok and nice to have around when it’s good news. But when Sony’s screwing something up again he does have a point in what he says… but he could be a bit more mature about it.

And don’t say Nintendroid… No Nintendroids, Sony ponies, Xbots. I’ve had enough of the internet tough guys on Youtube comment sections already. God, why do I keep reading them :/

    *cough*, pcmasterrace, *cough* 🙂

    andrewsqual 28 November, 2014 @ 11:08 am

jerlaak97 Incorrect mate. We rarely ever get something nice. The only time we get something nice is when I show up and prove him to be a troll yet again.

Mario__4__Life 12 November, 2014 @ 1:02 pm   2

Everyone get Rogue Legacy!

Usually I’d jump onto this offer. But considering that the IGC is pretty much only about indies now … seems unlikely that Rogue Legacy will NOT grace the Plus section sooner or later.

@golwar i was thinking the same about the 2 titles i want, pvz and counterspy.

ill sit this one out for once

@hayzink, don’t sleep on PvZ, it’ll never be on the IGC as it’s on the Xbox EA subscription programme. Besides, great games never go on the IGC, so don’t expect to get it for free. It’s a great, great game and unbelievably great value for money.

Those are some sweet deals. Might have to get Sherlock Holmes.

Faustofausto 12 November, 2014 @ 1:06 pm   4

Discounts only for PS4? I hope not thats all for this week.

    Mario__4__Life 12 November, 2014 @ 1:10 pm

    PS3 Masterrace!

    It’s fine like this.

From quite some time PS4 users didn’t have any real sale, so from time to time I’m fine with PS4 only sales.

    Chris Howe 12 November, 2014 @ 1:27 pm

This sale is just for PS4, we have some excellent sales for PS3 and PS VITA in the coming weeks so keep your eyes on the PlayStation Blog for more info.

Porcupeth00 12 November, 2014 @ 1:07 pm   5

I assume no more Vita deals until 28th?

    KaneTheGoth 12 November, 2014 @ 1:13 pm

I would expect more Vita deals next Wednesday… we *usually* get a sale every week.

turbogeek421 12 November, 2014 @ 1:10 pm   6

Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry for £4.79?! Sold!

A step in the right direction ans still miles away from the common 50% + 50% Plus discounts from the US. Just shows how terrible our sales usually are, regarding the prices. Europe isn’t competitive.

Luckily you can use multiple accounts on the PS3 and PS4, and with Black Friday around the corner you’d be a thief of your own wallet. Think its a safe bet that several of these titles will be on offer in a few weeks, with a greater discount ( Both regular and Plus discount ).

X_Blood_Curse_X 12 November, 2014 @ 1:11 pm   8

Might buy Resogun, gutted I misses it on PS+ 🙁

Those retail prices are still far too expensive by the way

Hmmm…. nothing for me… I shall still wait for big PSX/PSP sale.

But that’s fine. I need to take a break from gaming after how much time I “wasted” in Freedom Wars. Really addictive stuff.. and man… it just feels great.

Anyway nice PS+ discounts, I hope that from now on we will see more discounts like this. Way better than usual 10%

True, but they crippled the usual discounts for “normal” users.
Usually the prices with the 10% Plus discount dropped around 60% overall. And in these sale most games are in the range of 50-60% off too.

So nothing was really improved, they just tweaked the balance between the 2 discounts. What the Plus discount gained, was taken away from the standard discount. A zero sum game.

jon_h_blake 12 November, 2014 @ 1:12 pm   10

Good sales for ps4.But I think everybody want psvita and ps3 discounts too.
Today will be ps3 and psvita discounts?

Rouge Legacy and Valiant Hearts for me!

Valiant Hearts is great. Have fun!

Hesitating about Valiant Hearts, don’t really feel like supporting Ubisoft after WD and AC:U.
Probably will buy anyway, voting with your wallet is hard.

Those are the two that stood out for me too. And Resogun for anyone who missed it on PS Plus

Both Child of Light and Valiant Hearts and fantastic, refreshing games. No matter what other crapp other Ubisoft teams/studios spill.. you should support these two games and their developers.. very hard to NOT recommend them.

    Little_Ifrit 12 November, 2014 @ 4:16 pm

i agree with the above. Child of Light is my favourite game of 2014 and Valient Hearts is excellent too.

If you don’t want to support Watchdogs or AC:U then don’t buy them games. But UbiArt deserves to be supported. Magical little games.

Porcupeth00 12 November, 2014 @ 1:16 pm   12

That would be today, not next wednesday.

Not that i’m complaining, picked Danganronpa 2 on the last weekly deal and still have to pick up Atelier games, wallet is crying but it’s also hungering for more. It’s an addiction.

    zalwelgoedgaan 12 November, 2014 @ 1:21 pm

Atelier games have a lot of DLC, don’t they? Do you buy those as well?

    Porcupeth00 12 November, 2014 @ 1:24 pm

I still haven’t bought any Atelier, gonna start thanks to current Vita deals

btw this blog man… SCEE fix this. my post wasn’t supposed to show up down here, it was a reply to someone above

Hmm if you like VN how about backing Clannad?

I heard that it is on kickstarter and atm they are asking if people want it on other platforms 😛

Still… wallet won’t refill by itself right? Freedom Wars + Tales of Hearts R will be probably more than enough for this month… or even year.

    KayinAmoh 12 November, 2014 @ 1:29 pm

Atelier games have a lot of DLC on the PS3, but (at least the vast majority of the meaningful stuff) is added to the Vita version for free.

    Buy them. They’re awesome.

misi2mezei 12 November, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   13

A 1 year PS+ subscription discount please 🙂

Danterikxx 12 November, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   14

How about “deals of the week”. It’s already included in these discounts?

    Fred Dutton 12 November, 2014 @ 1:50 pm

Ah, they didn’t make it into this post. They’ll be flagged in the Store post, but an early heads-up:

Atelier Rorona Plus with 3 DLCs (Vita) – Was £34.99/€39.99/AU$54.95, now £19.99/€24.99/AU$32.95

    Dragon’s Crown (PS3) – Was £39.99/€49.99/AU$69.95, now £15.99/€19.99/AU$24.95

    Dynasty Warriors 8 (PS3) – Was £49.99/€59.99/AU$89.95, now £15.99/€19.99/AU$24.95

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition (PS4) – Was £54.99/€59.99/AU$84.95, now £29.99/€34.99/AU$47.95

    Titan Attacks (PS3/PS4/Vita) – Was £7.99/€9.99/AU$14.95, now £3.99/€4.99/AU$7.55

    CommonComitatus 12 November, 2014 @ 1:58 pm

@Fred Dutton, isn’t Atelier Rorona already going for lower than that price, as part of the sale that started last week?

Atelier Rorona is already on sale, and for €5 cheaper. Surely those 3 DLC cant be the reason it cost extra? Seems like a really bad deal.

    NorthernFusion 12 November, 2014 @ 2:13 pm

    Especially when they’re just costumes.

    Porcupeth00 12 November, 2014 @ 2:13 pm

I think that Atelier rorona entry is incorrect..

    Jawad Ashraf 12 November, 2014 @ 2:26 pm

Just a correction, yes Rorona is a mistake in the above list as this is already on offer.

Maybe its the Atelier PS3 version and not the Vita one? (crosses fingers)

Oh god you have got to be kidding me >.> I was searching for the 3 DLC version of Atelier Rorona last week but it wasn’t there so thought it was limited fair enough so I went and bought the normal version. Now I see the 3DLC version, why did you have to go take it off? 🙁 Anyway of getting the 3DLC without having to pay full price again?

I agree that the retail prices are still far from realistic and even with the discounts, there are hardly a big savings, you can get physical copies cheaper.
You should learn from the US PSN Store where a couple retail ps4 games went for around 8 dollars each, thats a BIG saving in my book

that is not digital only is still cheaper at retail. A quick browse on hot uk deals will point the way. Look at the price of Thief! I thought with the extra plus discount you were finally listening to us for a second.

NorthernFusion 12 November, 2014 @ 1:26 pm   17

The prices are excellent for the most part, but the LEGO prices are miles behind, the US store had Marvel Heroes on sale for £8 last week, or ~£5 if you’re a plus member!

Last Tinker for me. I’d enjoy a 3D platformer.

freya-anne 12 November, 2014 @ 1:27 pm   19

this is amazing thank you 🙂

Just_Joe_316 12 November, 2014 @ 1:27 pm   20

Seeing as you dont have a “the drop” section on the euro site I will ask the tiresome questiosn here about the store.

1. Do you really hate your PS1/PS2 classics that much? There is no tab to find these like the American, Japan & Hong Kong stores have. The only thing I could find is under collections/classics which was a select few games. I had to use the search feature for a specific game just to see if it was still there.

2. Why the lack of PS1/PS2 Games on the European store? I assume it’s becsuse they are low priority compared to order regions. Where is any MegaMan title(8 released in UUS) ? PS2 games including The Fatal Frame series, Katamari Damarcy, Siren.

I have all these from the other regions but that’s beside the point. I want to throw my money at you!!

One more thing, do us a favour and put some ground work into at least asking questions for at the very least Yakuza 1 & 2 PS2 Classics on PSN seeing as SEGA hates us all to release new content.

Have a nice day

    zalwelgoedgaan 12 November, 2014 @ 2:53 pm

I buy my PS1 + PS2 classics from the US store basically, they have more titles and they at least have their own category on the webstore.

    Just_Joe_316 12 November, 2014 @ 4:37 pm

Yes, I do the same thing. I have amassed many games from buying off all PSN stores worldwide. but there are very many people that don’t know how to do this.

But, I want answers from this so-called European PSN team so here is the hard evidence….

    Vib-Ribbon – October 15, 2014
Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions – September 11, 2013
    Crisis Beat – February 6, 2013

I would lose count if I had told you how many PS1 games released in that same time-frame in USA/JAPAN

And not much in the way of PS2 games apart from some Shin Megami Tensei games released early this year.

Seriously, if I had a job for this PSN European team I would be jumping through hoops and pushing as many buttons I could to bring them classics to you all. Are the majority of people working here too young to remember these influential games? I have read the article on what it takes to bring these classics to the store but the statistics I posted above do not lie.

My conclusion is Playstation Europe doesn’t give a monkeys about it’s history? and to think the big anniversary is just around the corner!!!

And please don’t get me started on the lack of PS1/PS2 game support on PS4 and don’t even mention streaming these games as an option.

Be nice progress blog’s every so often to reasure fans that at least the team are still trying to bring classics to the store.

Like I said earlier, Yakuza 1 and 2 PSN classics please and also as many MegaMan games as possible and try bring a smile to the RPG fans faces too!

… and Gran Tursimo 4 please seeing as the PS3 Gran Turismo’s are so damn jerky!!

People do need to show that they want these franchises!!!

Hallelujah Sony!!! Well done!!!

seldinhio 12 November, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   22

Wow this is just dumb. I have to call BS when I see it and this is definitely BS. Dont know where to start on this rant but here we go. First of those games are not nearly worth the PS Plus price asking price. This so called “sale” is purely to get people who dont own PS Plus to reconsider resubbing or first time subbing. Hey I love PS Plus but not for better sales and so on.

If they don’t do… People claim that they don’t care…
If they do, people claim because the only purpose is to make money…

What do you think they are? A charity company. They have to make money.
If they need to make some sales just to make more money, good for us because we can save some money to buy games we want, and good for them because they sell more. I don’t understand why people complain, when they do something like this.

I’m actually ashamed to be living in the same country as that game. smh

Why not killzone season pass sale ? Only in bundle . and refund driveclub already

kategorierna 12 November, 2014 @ 1:34 pm   24

Some really nice deals there, good job!

Will the Killzone season pass go on sale standalone? I have a retail copy of the game, so buying the digital game+season pass bundle is a bit of overkill. Just buying the Intercept expansion doesn’t give me the other stuff from the season pass, so that’s a bit sub-optimal too. 🙂

Just_Joe_316 12 November, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   25

Is there not a way to edit my previous posts? I wrote my previous post on my phone and realised afterwards there were a few corrections I wanted to make.

Anyway, made my point which will change nothing.

EmperorLawlight 12 November, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   26

As usual, those sales prices are higher than retail price.

That is not true. At least, it isn’t over here in the case of Sherlock Holmes (which I’m definitely looking at). Might be on pc and might be second hand on PS4, but you can’t beat that price at any retailer over here.

Are we getting Christmas deals throughout December this year?

If so, I’d like to see Diablo 3 (PS4) and Far Cry 4 (PS4).

ScooterMix 12 November, 2014 @ 1:39 pm   28

well be more great deals in jan so wait :]

No games for me here — I already have too many to play — but I’ll definitely grab the Outlast DLC. Been hoping to see that discounted for a while now. Thanks!

great sale, nice to see some ps4 love, i freely admit to being one to complain when things dont seem to be going well
But im happy to praise when something good happens (fickle gamer lol)

snookey891 12 November, 2014 @ 1:42 pm   31

I guess this sale is a step in the right direction, too bad I can’t be bothered to buy a PS4… Yet. Will eventually get around buying one but might be a while. That being said I’m sure everyone would also like some deals for other platforms as well. Since it looks like they put more effort into this sale than what is customary for SCEE, my guess is that it’s the only weekly sale we’ll see… Though I’d like to be proven wrong. PS4 owners rejoice, your prayers have finally been (apparently still not quite enough) listened by Chris & Co.

Any chance for discount on separate KZ: Shadow Fall Season Pass?

Quick heads up; for anyone wondering about a lack of Vita/PS3, some of these are cross buy (including Rogue Legacy). Have a good look through them 🙂

HHhhmmm… Im only planning to get my PS4 in about March/April…. im tempted to take advantage of some of these anyway…. but i also know, the games i want will prob eventually be on PS Plus by then too.

Regarding Killzone discounts, isnt this a slap in the face for people who purchased stuff as anniversary special?
I know i would be furious…

But since we seeing these specials, can we please see Mercenary special soon?

I bet some if not most of the games will get on sale later on again. But it is always good to spread out your game purchases so when you get your PS4 you will have lots of games 🙂

Well, ive had PS+ for years, so ive got all the PS4 games that came on + since launch, and the collection is growing already 🙂

The only games i would really go for in this list is: Killzone, Knack, Infamous, Theif & MGS. All of which are prime PS+ Subjects.

Danterikxx 12 November, 2014 @ 1:59 pm   35

Thanks Fred.

Any chance of seeing a discount on Wolfenstein for Ps4 soon?

Might grab Freedom Cry now that I’ve cancelled Unity but how many of these titles will be on plus next year?
Quite a few I’d imagine.

ThreeWallzz 12 November, 2014 @ 2:00 pm   37

Resogun season pass for me

MagZaz-5ife 12 November, 2014 @ 2:00 pm   38

Thanks! are we still gonna have the 12 deals of Christmas thing?

Danterikxx 12 November, 2014 @ 2:01 pm   39

Thanks Fred.

Any chance of seeing a discount on Wolfenstein for Ps4 any time soon?

hiroyuizero 12 November, 2014 @ 2:02 pm   40

Rogue Legacy & Resogun Season Pass is as must for me.

Loving Freedom Wars & Walking Dead Season 2 on Vita!

MagZaz-5ife 12 November, 2014 @ 2:06 pm   41

Would love a telltale games discount week or something?! Wolf Amongst Us and Walking Dead Discounts! Its really expensive right now, R400 in RSA, like 30-ish pounds per season 🙁

NorthernFusion 12 November, 2014 @ 2:07 pm   42

Well, I just splashed £90. Thanks, Sony (really).

European_Gamer 12 November, 2014 @ 2:09 pm   43

CounterSpy and Dead Nation are surprisingly cheap.

Bit of a shame when season passes are discounted before all of the content is released, makes those who bought it earlier feel duped because they didn’t save any money buying the pass. Don’t get me wrong I am pleased to have given Housemarque my £6.50 but still a bit of a slap in the face. In my opinion season passes should be the only way to obtain a discount of DLC until it is all released and at that point the season pass should be discontinued (like TLOU did on PS3)

On a happier note I will buy Freedom Cry because I have no intention of buying Unity after the slightly disappointing reviews

djax-djax 12 November, 2014 @ 2:19 pm   45

No PS3 / Vita / PSP sales? Fail…

Some good prices, as long as you have PS Plus.
I think I will have to take MGS:GZ at that price.

Crumptastic_86 12 November, 2014 @ 2:37 pm   47

Everyone buy Resogun and the season pass for that price-most fun you’ll have on your PS4!

No the most fun is staring at PSN updates (which are all done when the UK gets home from work/school) that mean you cannot play your latest online only game… Sorry did i say fun, I mean most [DELETED] annoying.

No deal for the Killzone season pass separately?

howboutthisthen 12 November, 2014 @ 2:45 pm   49

Hey guys, can you let us know which are cross-buy for the Vita please?
