Does Far Cry 4 (excellent game) work when you bought it in EU psn? The US one still does not work for anyone ๐Ÿ™

Nice deals for the younger folks!

BTW GTA 5 on PS4 looks just like Xbox 360 ๐Ÿ™‚
Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFLU5mmiXXM

    NorthernFusion 19 November, 2014 @ 1:17 pm

“BTW GTA 5 on PS4 looks just like Xbox 360 :)”

    Uhm, no it doesn’t.

    Proof: I’ve actually played it.

Do us a favor and GET A LIFE, Mario.

    Coody-Baroody 19 November, 2014 @ 3:36 pm

And? Your point is? GTA5 is still a last gen game don’t forget with the ONLY significant differences being resolution and frame rate and you can tell in that video the frame rate is better on the PS4 version and the poor image quality tells me the uploader obviously DOESNT have a FULL 1080p screen to see the improved image.

Your post is nothing but irrelevant fanboy troll droppings because DUHHHH no s*** it looks like a 360 version, because it IS a last gen game!

    NorthernFusion 19 November, 2014 @ 6:08 pm

    @Coody

GTA V on last gen was more next gen than most “next gen” titles out right now.

    CptPunchUHard 20 November, 2014 @ 2:19 am

Bull. None of these are next gen versions.

    andrewsqual 20 November, 2014 @ 4:59 am

Relax guys, this non PS4 owner actually got his controversy mixed up. It turns out that the Xbone version of the game is missing grass and further draw distance than other parts of the game on PS4. There are some people who claimed this false and said it was the 360 version being compared to the PS4 version in these screens.
Then Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry Group came out today and stated that it is in fact true the the Xbone version has less graphical features going on.
Poor Mario__4__Life or AlemanGC or gta5rockt or whatever name he goes by today got all this news mixed up completely and insulted the wrong consoles here ๐Ÿ˜€ Priceless.

    preskerd341 20 November, 2014 @ 9:13 am

can some mod ban this nintendroid troll? I see him every thread trolling and talking trash about ps and ps games. really? I hope some mods look at his message history and can see that he is a obvious troll.. please mods do something. thanks

Was kinda hoping some littlebigplanet DLC sales, any chance of this happening?

Atelier Escha & Logy and Drakengard 3 on sale? Count me in! Also the Persona PSP games and Vagrant story? Loving this sale!

    NoiSy_MaN 19 November, 2014 @ 1:20 pm

    Check Play Asia for Drakengard

Be sure to check Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga!

If you like Persona you won’t be dissapointed!

@ NoiSy_MaN I’m not importing it due to custom fees. Not worth it for me.

    @Archacus Already have that ๐Ÿ˜› ~ Was just missing P2 and P3!

Well I know you can buy physical versions of Drakengard III in the UK for about ยฃ29. It is the US version so any dlc would have to be from the US store. I’m guessing that because Square-Enix were quite militant about Europe not getting physical versions they were left holding a sack of Drakengard 3 games that people in the US didn’t want.

If import customs in Denmark are like the ones in UK you can import from EU without hassle and all kinds of import customs handling charges nonsense. For future reference that is something to consider if looking to import.

Nice
Though I kind of wished for SAO Sale as well

    X_Blood_Curse_X 19 November, 2014 @ 1:15 pm

Yeah I wanna get that game but theres no way im paying ยฃ32.99 for a lazily translated digital copy

sadambober 19 November, 2014 @ 1:07 pm   5

RIP my wallet

X_Blood_Curse_X 19 November, 2014 @ 1:08 pm   6

Tactics Ogre, yay! Nice work on some of those PsP games ๐Ÿ™‚

Was about to post exactly the same thing; Tactics Ogre is arguably one of the best PSP games ever released, good god yes ๐Ÿ™‚

    BartsBlue 19 November, 2014 @ 1:58 pm

It indeed is. I have been waiting for a discount for way too long (20EUR/80PLN for old PSP game is a bit much, sorry), but here it is. Will be buying this later today.

    Been waiting for this.

Hmmm…. nice ๐Ÿ™‚ Very nice! Thank you Mr. Jawad! please keep on bringing more PSP games ๐Ÿ™‚

Bit sad that there is no Persona 1 (I already have other parts) and Valkyria Chronicle 2

But I will have to consider buying few games
-Tactics Ogre – probably I will buy it
-Aedis Eclipse – maybe?
-GENERATION OF CHAOS – maybe?
-Spectral Souls: RotEE – maybe?
-Fate/EXTRA – is it anywhere close as good as original Fate/Stay night Relta Nua was?

    X_Blood_Curse_X 19 November, 2014 @ 1:20 pm

Spectral Souls RotEE is good. It got awful reviews because of long load times but on Vita the load times are barely noticable

    Oh btw!
If you are fan of Persona and don’t have Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga BUY IT NOW! For that price it is must have. I have both for PS2… love them!

    @X_Blood_Curse_X
    Thank you for advice ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cornetto_Man 20 November, 2014 @ 4:12 pm

Fate/EXTRA is completely different than the original F/SN. Extra is a dungeon-crawling RPG set in an alternate Universe as apposed to a visual novel like /Stay Night. If you’re a Fate fan though it’s worth checking out. I know I’ll be picking it up.

TomaCentral 19 November, 2014 @ 1:10 pm   8

Nice but anime sale and no Sword Art Online for vita??

Is PlayStation Store update coming today?

massive-swell 19 November, 2014 @ 1:11 pm   10

Some good savings to be had there. Any idea when costume quest 2 will get added to the store for the PS4

NorthernFusion 19 November, 2014 @ 1:12 pm   11

*sighs* *opens wallet*

QuietlyWrong 19 November, 2014 @ 1:12 pm   12

So many beautiful games I’ve already bought in previous sales, but Danganronpa for ยฃ11.99? Thank you very much! *Yoink* *Nom nom nom* ๐Ÿ˜€

DavidTheUnicorn 19 November, 2014 @ 1:13 pm   13

Super disappointing not seeing Legasista here ๐Ÿ™

Tuulenpoika 19 November, 2014 @ 1:17 pm   14

Now this is a sale I can get behind! Now, just make all those sweet PSP Final Fantasy games and Tactics Ogre compatible with Vita TV!

thezooniverse 19 November, 2014 @ 1:17 pm   15

I got Danganronpa 2 when it was on sale the other week, now I can play the first first. ๐Ÿ™‚ Awesome sale for that alone.

    NorthernFusion 19 November, 2014 @ 1:19 pm

    ยฃ26 in total then? Bargain!

    Porcupeth00 19 November, 2014 @ 1:28 pm

also got the second. now don’t know if i should get Atelier rorona + KZ Merc or Dangan 1 + Disgaea 4. First world problems

    NorthernFusion 19 November, 2014 @ 1:31 pm

Dangan 1 + KZ Merc if you want a mix, but if you don’t care, Dangan 1 + Atelier, imho.

    SatoshiOokami 19 November, 2014 @ 5:10 pm

    @Porcupeth00: Rorona + Dangan 1 is what I would suggest =D

TrueMurton 19 November, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   16

Feel sorry for anyone who bought Fuster Cluck, it only came out last month and now here it is almost half price…

crimsonnight 19 November, 2014 @ 1:26 pm   17

Danganronpa’s not compatible with PS TV over here? Anyone know if Sony are working to update this?

Porcupeth00 19 November, 2014 @ 1:27 pm   18

Damn it, you’re making it really hard to make up my mind. This is gonna sound a bit whiney but a friendly request to maybe spread out cool sales a bit more, i think i’ve seen more appealing discounts just this month than the whole year combined..

JorporMark 19 November, 2014 @ 1:28 pm   19

Dang it, Sony! I see way too many titles I want! As if this month wasn’t expensive enough already with all the great titles D: Dat Danganronpa, Dissidia 012 and FF3 tho… Argh! I need to win the lottery asap.

Akashic__Records 19 November, 2014 @ 1:28 pm   20

Drakengard 3.
It’s mine.

zalwelgoedgaan 19 November, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   21

A decent amount of titles, I guess I’ll buy Moon Diver now. Last time it was on sale, I hesitated.

HeikeStagBeetle 19 November, 2014 @ 1:31 pm   22

Trails in the Sky for me! Thank you Sony!

And plenty of other games I’d be interested in – if I hadn’t already bought them.

oScHiZoPhReNiCo 19 November, 2014 @ 1:33 pm   23

Any chance to release some of these games on all markets? You did that with Final Fantasy VII – IX when they were on sale.

For example I would really like Front Mission 3 on my Vita.

Tnx.

Aces73High 19 November, 2014 @ 1:40 pm   24

Danganronpa for me! ๐Ÿ™‚

Superbuu3 19 November, 2014 @ 1:45 pm   25

Gotta sa great sale, but also annoyed that danganronpa 1 went on sale after 2. I would’ve bought both otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. The only reason I didn’t buy Danganronpa2 last week was because I didn’t know when I would find a good deal on the first one. As it is required to play them in sequence, I skipped it not knowing when I would be able to actually play it.

I’m getting THH now, and I have to wait for another DR2 sale.
Great work by both NISA and SCEE…

johnnycide 19 November, 2014 @ 1:48 pm   26

Hardly legendary stuff for the PS4, there. Ah well, fingers crossed for the 12 deals of Christmas…….

CanaryIsles 19 November, 2014 @ 1:51 pm   27

I think only PS3 version does not work (Far Cry 4)

Nice to see a sale on Drakengard 3, shame the sale doesn’t include the IMO very overpriced sister DLCs for the game.

MissDreamer 19 November, 2014 @ 2:04 pm   29

Persona 2 and Tactics Ogre for me. Been waiting a while for these to go on sale so thanks Sony. ๐Ÿ™‚ Nice sale.

FreddyGPaulsen 19 November, 2014 @ 2:08 pm   30

A bunch of deals for ps3/vita and only two for the ps4 ?

paptschik 19 November, 2014 @ 2:10 pm   31

Does the download for Short Peace come with the anime or is it just the game?

Serpantino 19 November, 2014 @ 2:10 pm   32

Tactics Ogre, at last! Dragonball Z on vita is tempting too.

Short Peace is pretty inviting at this price…

ProfRoxas 19 November, 2014 @ 2:13 pm   34

Are you sure the One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 prestige edition is cheaper than the normal version?

crnisokol 19 November, 2014 @ 2:34 pm   35

Vagrant Story is not available in Croatia? Why is that??

Well, then I’ll be getting Final Fantasy Tactics and Digital Devil Saga. Shame for unavailability of Vagrant Story and not including first Persona game in sale…

    oScHiZoPhReNiCo 19 November, 2014 @ 3:39 pm

A lot of games are not available in Croatia and in many other countries. shame ๐Ÿ™

These deals are a good opportunity to ask when we’ll see further improvements and new features for the store?
There are so many no-name titles in this sale, that it’s a task on its own to figure out which games might be worth to be considered. Or which price is good enough.

As usual I’ll use Steam as comparison. They show or offer:
* Metacritic ratings
* Who of your friends bought or wishes a specific game (seriously, what’s so complicated about wishlists?)
* Activity list that summarizes recent purchases
* Charts, to quickly identify the current ‘must purchase’ titles.

From all that the PSN store only offers a kind of chart, which reacts so delayed that sales are usually over before you see the games raising the tables.

I just don’t get why Sony hesitates to introduce features that help the customer and reward Sony in form of boosted sales.

I should add that I’m especially flabbergasted by the refusal of wishlists. Is there a better tool for a shop to shape deals than to know exactly what your customers are interested in? Is there even any other shop than Sony’s that doesn’t feature wishlists?

Honestly you think they will do that? They still can’t itemize our download list. They can’t even put dlc with the proper games. Some dlc doesn’t even have the game title in the description!

Ever since the implementation of the “new” store it actually acts as a deterrent to browsing. When was the last time you were in a shop that actively discourages you from making a purchase. Before they add anything else they should fix the issues people have complained about for years. With the old store instead of fixing the issues people were having (blank items) they made this new one which is always crashing on PS3 and every few months there is a another store update which you have to download in order to use the horrible sluggish store. If they added anything else load times would be like using a 14.4kb modem

    @Izorpo
Sony already doesn’t treat the store equal on all their platforms. If the PS3 can’t handle it, leave it the way it is. No reason not to introduce any new & smart features to webstore, PS4 etc.

But yeah, I remember how they promised more and regular improvements, when we asked for a library / improved download list, for the new store. Meanwhile the PS4 is 1 year old and we still got nothing.

Another thing they need to do on PS4 is not counting Iplayer or 4OD or other streaming apps included in our library of games. After the last update on PS4 when they pushed their Unlimited stuff back at the front I had to open at least 9 games to get it off.

And this really annoys me…when I’ve purchased a disc game a purchase price for digital shouldn’t be included in the overview etc. It’s rather sneaky how its just below start. Considering that there are these strange delays in things loading like messages and slower than the PS3 in regards to messages. If the PS4 can’t instantly receive and send messages then there isn’t much hope for anything else

Those are some glorious Vita/PSP deals. Dissidia 012 is an absolute must-have for anybody who hasn’t played it. I’d also recommend Danganronpa, Final Fantasy IV CC and Persona 3 Portable. There’s a lot of great stuff here.

Dissidia 2 was fun until you enter New Game + and the CPU can kill you just by sneezing. I just stopped playing but I got enough entertainment out of it.

Too bad I have most of the games on offer but will pick up a couple of those PS2 titles, maybe some of the PSP ones. The only thing that could have made this sale better was Mana Khemia: Student Alliance being offered on sale

Some discounts are already available, but PS+ extra discount isn’t applying for me…

savageamusement 19 November, 2014 @ 3:51 pm   43

When is danganronpa going on sale- still showing at full price

eugenius8 19 November, 2014 @ 4:10 pm   44

Some nice sales but got most of the ones I wanted in previous sales. Was hoping for Persona 1 and SAO oh well :p Danganronpa 1 is a steal at that price if anyone is thinking of getting it as well as P3P. Is Fate/Extra any good?

Nice sale, thanks ๐Ÿ˜€
I can’t seem to find SMT: Digital Devil Saga in the german PSN Store tho =/ Also the discounts on Final Fantasy Games (except FFIII, FFIV and FF Tactics) are missing at this moment. Would be glad if it could be fixed. Found a few pretty good games that I’ll purchase this sale. Thanks a lot for it ๐Ÿ™‚

Btw, will there be a discount on FFVIII too? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ It wasn’t listed, but maybe it was a mistake. Never stop hoping xP

Danganronpa sounds good but is it going on plus??????
Deals end on 3rd. Next Plus games start on 3rd
I would be plenty annoyed to buy it then have it come on plus. Any chance of letting me know if it’s safe to buy???

Who knows, chance it is in next PS+ seem slim.

    preskerd341 20 November, 2014 @ 9:26 am

yes it’s safe to buy. game is still really popular and atlus making money from it and also the game is hardly 1 year old there are tons of game going to plus before danganronpa. last thing most of the games which going to plus have a lot of dlc’s. one purpose that producers decide to plus is making money from dlc sales

Jawad, fantastic discounts, and ones PSP owners have been waiting for years for in order to digitise our PSP collections, but can you please answer a question that both James Olivier and Fred have either ignored or just given stock answers for:

Final Fantasy I
Final Fantasy II
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Tactics Ogre

All of these are PSP/PSOne games that should have no difficulty running on PlayStation TV, but all of them come with a compatibility error when trying to launch them.

Square Enix have openly said, in responses on their blog and in responses to customer service enquiries that these games work on Vita and that there should be no reason why they don’t work on PlayStation TV, since it’s just a Vita 2000 without a screen. There is nothing for them to patch, and any compatibility issues are for Sony to fix.

These are ancient games with no touch screen controls, so there should be no reason why they don’t work like any other PSP/PSOne game that does launch without problems. Most all of us presume that these just need adding to the PlayStation TV’s white list, so can you please pass this to the hardware team to get them to do so.

We shouldn’t be getting regional discrimination with these, since most of them work fine on US accounts. Just please update the white list and let us play them – EVERY PSOne/PSP game should work by default, as there are no touchscreen controls to patch out as there are on Vita games.

I think everyone should this comment above.
Exacly what I thought after reading that those were not compatible with PsTV…
