Hmmm…

zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:05 pm   2

Guess I’ll buy the Ratchet Trilogy. Never played one, guess now’s a good time!

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:11 pm

Oh Vita owners, buy Tearaway if you haven’t.

Yes, you. The person who reads this who hasn’t bought it yet even though he has a Vita. I’m talking to YOU.

Ok, I will. Honestly, I’m going right now..

    XR-NOFEAR17 3 December, 2014 @ 4:35 pm

I don’t see a reason to buy tearaway. Time to buy the Spyro games and play them on my Vita.

Good you mentioned it! I somehow missed Spyro in that list. I might get the trilogy as well.

As for Tearaway, personally, I think it’s not bad, but very overrated. *takes cover*

    Blueberryboll 4 December, 2014 @ 12:13 pm

Does any one know if I can download the games of the trilogy separately if I buy the whole trilogy, or will it be one massive install on Vita?

I’ve just bought it and it’s listed as three individual downloads.

Oh, wait, were you talking about the Ratchet trilogy or the Spyro trilogy? I was talking about Spyro, no clue about Ratchet…

    Blueberryboll 5 December, 2014 @ 8:33 am

Yeah, I was wondering if the Rachet/Sly trilogy game could be downloaded separately.

PS_TrophyHunter 3 December, 2014 @ 1:07 pm   3

No “CLASSICS” on PS4……

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:30 pm

Well, Knack WAS on sale recently…

    PS_TrophyHunter 3 December, 2014 @ 7:38 pm

:O Now there’s a classic LOL. Its going to be in my memory forever as one of the true classic games ๐Ÿ™‚

Porcupeth00 3 December, 2014 @ 1:08 pm   4

Some nice deals here

Also, thanks for bringing the The Order 1886 ps4 theme to EU store. I’ve nagged the blog and RAD for a few days, now I can stop ๐Ÿ˜€

Chris is there any chance of Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow for PSP going on sale since it is one of those classic playstation franchises?

ShinnokDrako 3 December, 2014 @ 1:08 pm   6

Wow, some of them are GREAT! O_o i’m going to grab what i can… =D

Looks nice but can you add “Mega Man Maverick Hunter X” for PSP to the sale too please? I want to play it so much in my Vita, but only have it as Retail :/

Mario__4__Life 3 December, 2014 @ 1:08 pm   8

Couple of good deals, nice work Sony & Congrats on the 20 years. I hope some day you can be as great as Nintendo.

    hoard_moard 3 December, 2014 @ 1:22 pm

“as great as Nintendo”, with all due respect to Nintendo, Sony is already GREAT!

    @hoard_moard
True… but they should learn from a few things on how to treat loyal customers.

    Aces73High 3 December, 2014 @ 1:34 pm

Then why don’t you head over to the eShop and quit obsessively posting derogatory comments here on the PS Blog!?

As a PS4 and Wii U owner, I love both Japanese console giants, and as such, would say that both Sony and Nintendo are truly ‘great’ in their own, unique ways!

Stop trolling already Mario. We’ve had enough of your bullcrap.

    Mario__4__Life 3 December, 2014 @ 2:25 pm

Yeah whats with the trolls who do not want Sony to get better? Sony should ALWAYS get better and closer to great gaming!

Stop pretending to be someone else.

Nothing on PS4?

sab_ka_aka 3 December, 2014 @ 1:11 pm   10

Ratchet and Sly trilogy! Hehe! Thanks! I am overjoyed by those prices!!!!

Hmmm….

Well… I don’t know what I expected…

I was sure that there will be some PSX games… but it turns out that I already have most of them.

PS2… well… with the number of games missing on European PSN I didn’t expect anything at all :/ SCEE should really work harder on bringing those games to PS3… and maybe even PS4. Odin Sphere is still waiting :/

PS3… well already have all games that I am interested in (I mean from that list).

Vita… well some of them have not bad price… not bad at all… But either I have them or will buy them with retail.

PSP… such a shame, such a big shame that you gave only one title ๐Ÿ™ Valkyria Chronicles 2 is still waiting!

And probably many of gamers would like to see some nice sale for DLCs. I can’t even remember Muramasa DLCs having any sale at all. So yeah, it would be nice to see some kind of special sale with only DLCs to various games on PS3/PS4/Vita

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:16 pm

Like you said, US Store has waaaaay more PSX/2 titles.

Muramasa DLCs are in a bundle and cheaper than buying them separately.

the1free_man 3 December, 2014 @ 1:12 pm   12

If you don’t already have Tearaway and you don’t buy it at this price, we can’t be friends.

    ScaryRhinos 3 December, 2014 @ 2:25 pm

Ha is it really worth getting then? Never got round to it but I probably should at this price.

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 2:37 pm

Fact: you won’t make new friends period if you don’t buy Tearaway. So yes, it’s worth getting.

@ScaryRhinos It’s pretty good, albeit short. One of the few good Western games on Vita.

Jarskaaja 3 December, 2014 @ 1:14 pm   13

Warning: Twisted Metal is censored. Some parts of cutscenes are hidden with black screens and some parts of the game have been made less brutal (the funeral car has a corpse instead of a living man).

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:21 pm

Yes, but during their BS political correctness editing, they forgot to censor a scene with a decapitated victim. Typically Sony. XD

Check here for more info: http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=583814

    LimeyPolo 3 December, 2014 @ 1:22 pm

Such a shame, tis identical with The Last of Us.

At least the censorship is not as heavy as Twisted Metal Black. Jesus, they cut all storyline cutscenes and modified certain levels…

    dr_nick33 3 December, 2014 @ 4:01 pm

You realise the censorship is decided by your government(s) and not Sony, don’t you? Really can’t understand why that is such a hard concept to grasp.

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 4:41 pm

@dr_nick33: No, it’s a Sony decision. Europe gets plenty of uncensored products with far more severe violence from other companies, it’s just Germany that is left out occasionally. That’s not a hard concept to grasp.

Go play with your kangaroos, shill.

hoard_moard 3 December, 2014 @ 1:20 pm   14

Gonna pick up Tearaway for the Vita, always wanted to play that game but never got the ‘chance’. Now I do! Thanks PlayStation.

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:23 pm

Make our country proud; buy it, play it, love it.

    Gray-Fox47 3 December, 2014 @ 4:18 pm

Why it wasn’t made by dutch people was it?
Anyway I loved it only just finished it, still have to collect the last paperdoll to pop the platinum but I’m waiting to do that until tomorrow, since I have to recharge my battery.

@zalwelgoedgann Tearaway isn’t a Dutch game though Media Molecule developed it so that makes it a British game.

ThargTheMighty 3 December, 2014 @ 1:21 pm   15

When do these offers begin/end?

Killzone discount! Never had the pleasure of playing this; here’s hoping the other Killzones for ps3 will be discounted as well

Is there any chance of the individual games in the trilogies getting a discount too?

I’ve already got Sly 1, so can’t buy the trilogy, but I’d like to get 2&3 at the discounted price.

Plenty to pick up there though, it’s a good sale. Disappointed at the lack of PSP titles, I was hoping for Daxter and Valkyria Chronicles 2.

Yep, that would be great. I already have Ratchet & Clank 1 & 2, only need 3.

    *doh!*

    Blueberryboll 4 December, 2014 @ 12:17 pm

But this price is still quite good for 2 games, no? Can’t you just download 2&3?

I’m also hoping for a VC2 sale sometime ๐Ÿ™‚ I got Daxter at full price โ€“ it’s an incredible game! Super smooth platforming and unbelievable PSP graphics.

    andrewsqual 4 December, 2014 @ 3:49 pm

I would also like this too. I can’t buy the Sly Trilogy as I already have the first game and the store won’t let me buy the Trilogy then. But Sly 2 and Sly 3 are โ‚ฌ20 to buy separately. Could you please discount these two games to โ‚ฌ4.50 each so that it works out at the same price as the Trilogy discount, pretty please?

pinkplaybunny 3 December, 2014 @ 1:27 pm   18

    Aces73High 3 December, 2014 @ 1:37 pm

    It’s Uncharted: Golden Abyss!

Warning – Resistance 2 servers are closed so no online

It’s clearly written in the store page anyway.

I wish they put the first game as well, since it’s the only version to feature all game updates and DLC (the servers were shut down but sadly that also brought down the game updates, and whey were necessary for DLC compatibility, since the multiplayer maps can be used offline… and other small features like weapon balancing and in-game screenshots)

kid_Jump94 3 December, 2014 @ 1:29 pm   20

PLAYSTATION! THOSE VITA HOW DARE YOU! I will kiss you, omg, how, youre literally the best ^3^

That Crash thumbnail nearly gave me a heart attack. Awesome sale!

DarkArchoNx66 3 December, 2014 @ 1:30 pm   22

That’s it?????I might get god of war ascension since I still haven’t played it and the price seems good enough…No chances of ever coming to plus, so that’s another plus xD…Gotta check online first though..

counterUAVbaby 3 December, 2014 @ 1:31 pm   23

Will the Jak and Daxter games be discounted individually? If not , can you do it?

Happy Anniversary Playstation! Hopefully we can play classics on PS4 soon.

You’ll be able to, using Playstation Now.
Hope you enjoy renting and streaming games at stupid prices, even if you own the game on PSN already ๐Ÿ™‚

blackout_pt 3 December, 2014 @ 1:36 pm   25

@Chris any cross sales (for instances on the triolagy packs)? Also, when can we get to buy games already part of IGC?

jon_h_blake 3 December, 2014 @ 1:37 pm   26

Hi,what is the first game on Vita’s list? There is a discount but there is not the Game’s name.

    zalwelgoedgaan 3 December, 2014 @ 1:39 pm

and now:

God of War Collection Volume II
โ‚ฌ16.99

???

    Gray-Fox47 3 December, 2014 @ 7:16 pm

I wonder why only collection 2 has been added.
Is there a possiblity that the sale will be expanded with extra titles in 1 or 2 weeks?

Wow. Awesome. Ratchet & Clank Trilogy is for me, and I also have to consider a couple of other titles

mannyonthemoon 3 December, 2014 @ 1:50 pm   29

why does the related posts section show articles from 2013? in terms of things for sale that seems unhelpful.

Meh. No PS4 love and LOTF too expensive in the Christmas 2nd day deal. My money is safe!

Paranoimia 3 December, 2014 @ 1:55 pm   31

Tearaway for me. Didn’t pick it up originally as I had too much else on the go at the time.

miky_magawolaz 3 December, 2014 @ 1:56 pm   32

Thank you! MORE DEALS LIKE THESE!!!

Hi Chris. This is a brilliant sale to honour the history of PlayStation! I am especially looking at buying some of the classic games from the PS1 era, but is there any chance of Gex and Gex 3: Under Deep Cover Gecko being added to the PS1 sale prices, please?

TripleNya 3 December, 2014 @ 1:58 pm   34

I want to get Ascension but I have feeling that it’s going to be on PS+ in the near future.

smokeypsd 3 December, 2014 @ 2:02 pm   35

Wow, I’m blown away by the psp savings there guys… lol nice sale for the most part though.

On this note can we please have it easier to find ps1 games on the store again?

Not 1 PS4 game…we buy next gen console and get nothing. Come on… there is surely a couple of PS4 games that could have been included???? I can even think of a few cross over games that were brought to PS4 from PS3…there no where on this earth i would pay full price for a game i have already completed on ps3….TLOU, GTAV, Thief, etc

smokeypsd 3 December, 2014 @ 2:04 pm   37

Wow, so many psp titles on sale guys… lol great sale for the most part still.

Can we have PS1 games easy to find on the store again?

Tuulenpoika 3 December, 2014 @ 2:15 pm   38

I find the PSP section just hilarious. Reminds me of one certain event a few years back…

“It’s Ridge Racer!”
“…”
“RIIIIDGE RACEEER!”

I’m still hopelessly wishing for Kaz Hirai to come on stage at some random major press conference and announce Ridge Racer 8 for PS4. Ain’t it sad that the PS4 is the only Playstation without a proper Ridge Racer game?

The original ridgeracer on ps1 would be a nice addition to psn

    didsburydan 3 December, 2014 @ 3:05 pm

i want ridge racer type 4 remastered. that was the only good ridge racer

I would also love RR for PS4, but oldschool one , not garbage like the Vita one or Unbounded.
Last RR that is good is the one for 3DS, have it and love it.

Please Namco bring us some love on PS4!!

@Brisk82 Wasn’t the first Ridge Race ons PSone called Rage Racer???

Maybe ‘ll buy Ridge Racer Ultimate edition for my PSVita

Wow, there are some good ones here for a Vita owner. I’ll be sure to grab Driver (PS1), Metal Gear Solid (PS1), Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and possibly Sly Trilogy. Nice discounts.

    Twinkling82 3 December, 2014 @ 3:21 pm

I wish there were more trick driving than the very first mission in that game. God; i used so many hours back then trying to get it right – takes way less attempts now.

JungleRewind 3 December, 2014 @ 2:20 pm   40

So when do the prices actually drop?? Everything is still the same price on my end

sab_ka_aka 3 December, 2014 @ 2:25 pm   41

Until what date will the sale last?

SwingerE11 3 December, 2014 @ 2:34 pm   42

what time does the sale go live?

AWW ๐Ÿ™ Shame i can’t play these PS1 Classics(& PS2) on my PS4 ๐Ÿ™ If i had 1 PlayStation wish ๐Ÿ˜€ it would be that SONY would release a PS4 that could play all my PS1 & PS2 & PS3 disc games. Oh well.

    Twinkling82 3 December, 2014 @ 3:19 pm

..erh, I think.. I THINK!! that the digital ps1 and ps2 titles can be played on ps4. I haven’t tested it though.

    Mr_Writer 3 December, 2014 @ 3:32 pm

They can’t be played on PS4.

    The__Ewan 4 December, 2014 @ 1:23 pm

PS3 games might be a bit of a stretch, but there’s really no excuse for it not to be able to play PS1/PS2 games – the PS4 has easily enough power to just do those with full emulation. It’s a real shame – I’d hoovering up loads of these games if only they’d actually work for me.

SkechyLife 3 December, 2014 @ 2:45 pm   44

Still waiting for FREEDOM WARS to go on sale…..

Still waiting for FREEDOM WARS to go on sale …

When are we going to get the original ridge racer on ps3/4 the technical demo would be nice.

Twinkling82 3 December, 2014 @ 3:18 pm   48

When will the games prices reflect this sale for danes? Every title I’ve checked on the store are full prices.

Mr_Writer 3 December, 2014 @ 3:31 pm   49

If only PS2 and PS1 classics worked on PS4 I would be throwing money at you right now.

    STORMxPYTHON 3 December, 2014 @ 5:12 pm

Agree really the reason it’s holding me back buying a ps4 not everyone wants to just play new games on it. TV ads say this is for the players. Well then give us a console for the players. Surely it’s not too hard to enable ps1 2 and 3 digital games to run on the ps4. The hardware sure as hell can handle it
