Appreciate the discount. Thanks Sony!

INS1GHTFUL 23 January, 2015 @ 9:08 am   3

Dark_Overlord 23 January, 2015 @ 9:09 am   4

What happens if I want to purchase more items than the basket limit of 10? Can I use the code for each basket?

andrewsqual 23 January, 2015 @ 9:10 am   5

Picking up Resident Evil HD on Cross Buy for PS3 and PS4 :D.

    umariqbal78 23 January, 2015 @ 9:59 am

Resident Evil HD on Cross Buy for PS3 and PS4 was only available if you pre-order the game.
    Sorry dude

In US, in EU you get cross buy for the first week or two weeks because we didn’t have the preorder in the first place.

    WayfaringWalrus 23 January, 2015 @ 3:04 pm

Just to clarify, already purchased this on day of release and got cross-buy 🙂 and yes, it is absolutely amazing! Well worth it for anyone who’s in two minds about getting it.

Can we use the code more than once i.e. If I buy something today and something tomorrow, or would I need to decide on everything I wanted in one basket?

Also, it’s great to see Driveclub is still £19.99, I think a lot of people believed this was just for the January sale.

    geraint09 23 January, 2015 @ 9:13 am

i think you can use it on any purchase between the time limits it’s not once per account

    Fred Dutton 23 January, 2015 @ 9:28 am

No, it’s a single use code I’m afraid

    Ok thanks for the clarification

    didsburydan 23 January, 2015 @ 1:11 pm

i definitely thought it was only january sale price (considering it was in the january sale part of the store) so i bought it earlier. now it turns out i could have saved a little bit of money… enough to cover game of thrones season pass and guacamelee on ps4… but now i don’t have enough for both. 🙁 i wish the ps store was a bit more clear in terms of… welll…. lots of things.

Danterikxx 23 January, 2015 @ 9:11 am   7

If i you enjoy this discount, click “yes”. If you do not like this discount, click “no”

XtianHawkGamer 23 January, 2015 @ 9:13 am   8

Is it just me or PS Store down? It’s taking awhile for me to load up :S

Can you buy ps vita content through your ps3?

I’ll be picking up DriveClub and Resident Evil wit this code when I get back from work. It’ll work out to £32.38 for both, not bad!

and mexico or all latin america what?
you always forget us like we are less then nothing
themes, discounts, previews…. nothing.
comme on sony we hav money 2

Typical, Web store is down and I’m getting sign in failed messages.

It worked fine yesterday when I perused the store for ideas. I wonder if this will last 3 days like the code itself. My credentials are obviously good too as I can get on here.

    INS1GHTFUL 23 January, 2015 @ 9:30 am

    its working for me

Thanks insightful for letting me know. I’ve now tried from my phone and Firefox and IE on pc and neither will let me in right now.

hitman_stephen 23 January, 2015 @ 9:25 am   13

*Goes onto sony website and uses up the 10 item basket limit on Vita JRPG’s*

To be honest i don’t think Sony should have to do this, they were the victim 🙁 But i’l still happily use/accept anything you guys give away ^_^

    hitman_stephen 23 January, 2015 @ 9:29 am

Oh and i thought i’d also mention, i just bought a bunch of games and there DLC’s yesterday, 🙁 damn my bad timing

    KaneTheGoth 23 January, 2015 @ 11:39 am

Don’t feel bad about the timing; it’s a one-use code and you’d already reached the basket limit 🙂

What is the discount code for United States? I don’t see it in the listing.

    Fred Dutton 23 January, 2015 @ 9:32 am

Hey there. As above, this is the blog for the SCEE region, I’m afraid, so I don’t have that information. I believe my SCEA colleagues will be posting the US code on their Twitter feed at around 9am PST.

E o Brasil ?

Brasil isn’t in europe. this is the EU blog

    Clubedos4 23 January, 2015 @ 4:03 pm

    To Naquadah:
I believe that Australia, Bahein, India, Israel, KwaitI, Lebanon, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar and South Africa are not Europe too. And in spite of that they are on the list.

Christoff1985 23 January, 2015 @ 9:29 am   16

With all the fuss, that was going about this “crazy” discount for the whole January:
1. missing the January Sale
2. short time period that misses the launches of most good games this quarter of the year.
3. Usual Sony statetements: “will let You know soon”, “we thought it will be better” and so on.
4. Did anyone notice, that last batch of discounts on PS Store does not include additional 10% for PS Plus members? I wonder why…

I’m not picking anything, because there will probably be better standard discounts in the coming month.

I wonder, what would Trevor Philips would tell Sony about their great offer. Probably his favourite quote.

    Higgledy33 24 January, 2015 @ 10:34 am

Sony may have saved themselves some money with the cynical way they’ve handled this but they’ve lost themselves a ton of good will.

Could I have another please? I’ve used mine up 🙂

crackyourspeaker 23 January, 2015 @ 9:30 am   18

So where is USA discount code?

Steve_Of_The_O 23 January, 2015 @ 9:32 am   19

Everything digital is marked up by a minimum 10% so it kinda counters the discount anyway. I’ll take the 5 free plus days and say thank you though. Thank You 🙂

The Non inclusion of PS Plus was annoying but then I got a great deal at CD Keys 12 months for £31 so up your bum there Sony! 😛

Quigmeister 23 January, 2015 @ 9:32 am   20

Because Sony have excluded pre-orders I’ve gone from spending £61.54 (Order 1888, RE HD and Olli Olli) to only spending £16.55. I’ll just wait till my physical copy of the Order 1888 comes now and trade it in when finished

Used my code on Resident Evil REmake for PS3/PS4. Been waiting years to play this again – thanks for the code!

My UK code doesnt work !! ??

Sorry Fred, no matter how many discounts SCEE give me, only thing that could convince me to buy anything from PSN store is delete option for Singstar crap from my XMB.

TannedHide 23 January, 2015 @ 9:37 am   24

Just picked up the Driveclub Season Pass, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones Season 1, OlliOlli and some Resi 6/Revelations DLC with my code.

Something is up though. My purchase history has no reference of the Driveclub SP purchase but has everything else. My download list has no entries for any driveclub dlc plus it has no entries for either of the TellTale games. You guys have 5 days to fix this before we all demand another 10% code 😉

I’ve got the same issue as you.

Try adding the games to your basket again and it says your ineligible to buy or download.

    TannedHide 23 January, 2015 @ 10:36 am

I fixed it by going back to the store and adding the individual tour packs (in driveclub’s case) as they are now marked as Free for me. Then I added the episode 1 packs for the TellTales games (which were also marked as free). Bought that basket and now I have them listed. Bit of a chow on but at least they’re in the list now.

Not working for me with game of thrones or borderlands. Also got resident evil HD 🙁 got receipt so I know it will get sorted just hope its before too long

I had the same problem Hayzink so I signed out and then logged back in and then it was fine

happydeuce600 23 January, 2015 @ 9:39 am   25

Is there a code for the united states?

Just spent £29 and the discount didn’t apply. What’s the best email address for support?

Does the japanese PSN Store gets a discount code too?
I actually want some stuff from that store =(

If they get a code, where can I find it?

Yes, they where mailed out 3 days ago, the key is 8PLLN4L3DQ and you acn also see it on the Playstation Storefront page. Would personally have used it if Tales of Zestria was not just a physical release ><.

woestijnkroket 23 January, 2015 @ 9:47 am   28

i am trying to pre order Dying Light but there I get no option to enter discount code in the process.

DarealTee29 23 January, 2015 @ 9:51 am   29

so when does this go live in North America region……………….

geektopia 23 January, 2015 @ 10:04 am   30

Is there any chance of having the store integrated for PS3 and PS4? Using the 10% code, I purchased DLC from my PS4, only to find I could not use the code from my PS3. This stopped me from getting the (relative) bargain I wanted on the PS3, and deprived Sony of a sale.

    Adie_Stone 23 January, 2015 @ 12:06 pm

It’s a one use only. If you want PS3 and PS4 stuff, you should have used the store from your computer or phone.

    nulenvoid 23 January, 2015 @ 12:12 pm

The webstore would have been the best bet

    geektopia 23 January, 2015 @ 7:36 pm

In hindsight, the webstore would have been the way to go. At the time, I just figured the code would work across both consoles. In a perfect world, Sony would have their infrastructure set up so users wouldn’t require a computer.

A first world problem I know, but Fred, the question still stands -will Sony ever fully integrate their store, or will users always need a computer to make purchases across consoles 9i.e. PS3 and PS4)?

Az_The_Vamp 23 January, 2015 @ 10:11 am   31

Shame I bought a shed load of games off PSN yesterday, oh well.

I find it regrettable that decide at the last minute not include pre orders

PalmtopJakku 23 January, 2015 @ 10:18 am   33

Time to buy lots of Senran stuff!

infernalmonkey1 23 January, 2015 @ 10:20 am   34

So there’s no way to use this code for PlayStation Mobile games, correct? Since you’ve made it so the code won’t work from a Vita, and PlayStation Mobile games still can’t be accessed on the web store. Poor indie devs. =\

Yeah! I wanted to pick up some PSM games (cause they never go on sale) but i can’t do so?

JayLara246 23 January, 2015 @ 10:25 am   35

Way to go Sony…!!! I need a United States Code and don’t even put it up… Real nice Sony…. So I can’t even use that 10% bonus… -_-

Shizukesa 23 January, 2015 @ 10:41 am   36

I just bought Wolf Among Us after waiting all week (+another day for Europe hours) to buy it with the 10% off on my PS Vita, and the transaction went straight through full price without asking for codes or anything omg nooooooooooo щ(゚Д゚щ)

Probably get RE1:HD later today then. Thanks SONY 😉

What’s with all the americans here all of a sudden.

    The__Ewan 23 January, 2015 @ 1:14 pm

Usually things (like say, the monthly PS+ updates) are released first in the US so as to avoid confusing the poor dears. On this occasion they’re not first, and the very concept seems to be hard for some of them to grasp.

    Reymart_Cruz 23 January, 2015 @ 4:53 pm

More like british is everywhere here there is hardly any American’s i am seeing here

It’s great that some customers are getting some value out of this so-called ‘offer’ but let’s get a bit of perspective on how lame this ‘thank you’ discount is for SCEE customers.

This offer doesn’t even match the ‘spend $60 get $10 back’ or ‘spend $100 get $15 back’ promotions that are offered regularly on the US store.

No plus discounts on the sale items, no pre-orders, no plus subscriptions, a time constraint. Rather than benevolence, this appears to be more of a drive to raise income in the slow post-christmas period. (and judging by comments of people filling carts, it appears to have worked – kudos).

No thanks.

@Fred, since you’re around, are European Vita owners getting recompensed in the same manner as US Vita owners for the false advertising of the machine? or do we have to take you to court too?

    this is so funny.. haha

not quite sure as to why it’s ‘so funny’ but i’ll tell you what it definitely is. As of now, it is demonstrably 10x more popular than your monkey chat… ha ha

DennisLWD-NL 23 January, 2015 @ 10:53 am   40

Realy not on preorders! you can keep your code!

Tagged_Deaf 23 January, 2015 @ 10:54 am   41

10% discount wasn’t that much but u fully know Sony didn’t have to do that at all!

Bought Tales from the Borderlands season pass, Game Of Thrones season pass and Resident Evil. All for £37.

Ta, Sony!

Futureshark 23 January, 2015 @ 10:57 am   42

Got game and season pass, with a bit of Resi Evil chucked in too. £50!

jl1974368 23 January, 2015 @ 10:57 am   43

what is the code for north America ?

mightyquin 23 January, 2015 @ 10:57 am   44

Similar problem as mentioned above – after making a purchase and using the 10% code, it wouldn’t let me put any of the games into my download list.
Now going back to these items on the online store they don’t show as having been purchased, but clicking “add to basket” (as suggested above) now tells me “You are not eligible to purchase or download this content”.

Any suggestion on how I actually download these items, or do I need to do it directly from my PS3?

pinpinhau 23 January, 2015 @ 10:58 am   45

Where’s hong kong?

ErMurazor 23 January, 2015 @ 11:05 am   46

Trying to get 10% off the Bloodborne Pre-Order but there is no box (via PSN Web shop) to fill in the discount code. Does it work with Pre-Orders?

    Trailbreaker83 23 January, 2015 @ 11:54 am

“To recap, some exceptions do apply, including subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, rental video content, pre-orders and transactions made on PlayStation Store via the PS Vita, PlayStation TV or PSP content”

Fred Dutton , There Ain’t A Canadian Discound Here I Guesss ! And Us Discount Code Either O.o !

    The__Ewan 23 January, 2015 @ 1:17 pm

This is what you get for declaring independence from Britain.

    Reymart_Cruz 23 January, 2015 @ 4:44 pm

Yeah i wonder that too even try all codes and did not work!

    Reymart_Cruz 23 January, 2015 @ 4:47 pm

the__ewan if i remember that the british empire was invading a lot of country’s and actually was sucessful expect when they try to invade the US that they did took half of there land but did not last till the US took it back even invaded france the same time when british invaded america

Reymart. Are you like the dumbest person ever or just a typical American?

Tried to invade the US hahahaha. Oh my – someone needs to spend less time on their playstation and more time in class (I’m assuming they are school level with comments like this)

Thunderlizzard 23 January, 2015 @ 11:23 am   48

Wow, the amount of non-EU people complaining on the EU blog that this EU code isn’t working in their non-EU country is quite impressive.

Sony, there’s an opening for a game that teaches basic geography here methinks 😉

    Steve_Of_The_O 23 January, 2015 @ 2:21 pm

About a third of the countries on the list above are not the slightest bit European. Sony would, apparently be the least qualified to give geography lessons

kratos_tayfun 23 January, 2015 @ 11:26 am   49

How can I use the code, can anybody explain to me ?

    Adie_Stone 23 January, 2015 @ 12:04 pm

Put everything in your basket and before paying there’ll be an option to put a code in. Shove it in

ivanbarzan1 23 January, 2015 @ 11:28 am   50

US code???
