Call of Duty discounts? AGAIN? Really…
I feel like we get those way too often.

Anyway that was the negative part of the comment, else under the other DLC’s and Discounts (games) there are some good deals. So it’s not all bad.
But still try turn down a little on the Call of Duty, I bet that most people who are really interested in them already got them, or there have been better deals other places. Just my opinion.

I think Activision knows that the sells arent so good anymore and now Activision spams SCEE with offers about CoD. And Sony says:” Yeah of course, because no we dont care about a new deals!”

Nothing special this week for me, the US deals are even better.

    NSR_Apathy 4 February, 2015 @ 1:05 pm

Yeah, was really hoping for some new DLC discounts, most of these have been on sale before :/ How about Left Behind next time? Or the original Borderlands Season Pass? Kingdoms of Amalur?

    Stonesthrow 4 February, 2015 @ 1:21 pm

Yea COD never used to get sales. Seems like they’re finally getting off their high horse and realize COD isn’t what it used to be.

Well, I hoped that this new one will have adjusted prices for Swiss store, but no such luck. Swiss psn store was already the most expensive and now with CHF fluctuation I just stopped purchasing anything from it. COD AW full price is 85CHF or 80EUR ?!? Anyway I have too much unfinished games.

    AlucardTepes_DE 7 February, 2015 @ 1:14 am

Just would like to know, why its a Japanese console selling so few Japanese titles at all, and selling so many american titles…

DragonsGash 4 February, 2015 @ 12:13 pm   2

Alien isolation season pass for less than a tenner? Sold! Best….game…..ever…..

only deal I found is for Season pass. the price for game is the same as previous. no cut off label as with CoD

upd. In search there is a new price, but on game page it ‘s the old one

G33ks1nL0ve 4 February, 2015 @ 12:14 pm   3

I’m sorry I never moan but I have to now you guys are just too lazy compared to the US blog, how do you still have your Jobs. Is putting the sale prices up really that hard for you? I love PlayStation and all my PS consoles but this blog just keeps getting worse.

    Stonesthrow 4 February, 2015 @ 1:15 pm

Yea I noticed this too, show the discounted prizes again, otherwise what’s the point? Might as well abandon the blog and just check the store :s

I totally agree. It was a valid excuse over the holidays when they were on skeleton staff, but we’re into February now and it’s still happening. Between this and the selective replies…

Did you guys lose your calculator? How come you don’t tell us the discounted price anymore?

Yeah, now we have to go to the store each time… Please, give us back the discounted price !!!

I know the reply of them:”Our team is on holiday vacation now. Full support with all prices next week!”

Its reallly a shame, that they couldnt tell us the new price. ITs SCEE and they should do their job, but they only do the minimum at the moment.

    European_Gamer 4 February, 2015 @ 12:37 pm

It’s odd, but you can see the new price in your local currency if you press the link to the DLC you want to buy.

    TheMaxDaddy 4 February, 2015 @ 12:44 pm

Just do it yourself. Moaners. Original price X ((100-discount)/100). Have you ever done basic maths.
    Allen isolation: 69.99 X 0.35 =24.50
    Deal.
    Takes two seconds.

    bigmat319 4 February, 2015 @ 12:46 pm

Everyday is a holiday if you work at SCEE

    bigmat319 4 February, 2015 @ 12:49 pm

@TheMaxDaddy That’s hard to do if they don’t even tell us Australians the original price anymore

    Stonesthrow 4 February, 2015 @ 1:16 pm

And while we’re at it, weren’t we promised an edit function shortly after the redesign? :s

    TheMaxDaddy 4 February, 2015 @ 5:16 pm

@bigmat oh right. Yeh, the Australian dollar would be nice to help Australians too.

CookieMonsterES 4 February, 2015 @ 12:19 pm   5

Hey, Chris, would it be possible to have a Marvel Pinball sale sometime in the next weeks?
Would it be great if we had it on PS3 or Vita so we could make good use of the Cross-Buy feature and get the tables in all our Sony consoles, PS4 included 🙂

Thanks in advance!

Chocobo115 4 February, 2015 @ 12:20 pm   6

The evil within season pass for PS4 seems bugged. Says it’s discounted in the store, but asks for full price at checkout. Better fix before someone does check out without checking final price and feel cheated.

Yeah… almost did buy it for fullprice, this is not ok >.<, Even more so with their "no refunds" on digital stuff like that… NOT OK!

KaneTheGoth 4 February, 2015 @ 12:21 pm   7

Any chance of DA:O – The Darkspawn Chronicles DLC going on sale? It’s the ONLY Origins DLC that hasn’t been on sale in over a year, and now the other DLCs are starting to repeat.

howboutthisthen 4 February, 2015 @ 12:22 pm   8

Nothing for the Vita? I wouldn’t mind if the Suikoden II download worked.

Activision discounts? Nothing to see here.

Hey Chris, I’m looking at the Alien: Isolation deal but it’s still the same price. Does this deal apply to South Africa? Thank you 🙂

ErikaErikaT 4 February, 2015 @ 12:30 pm   11

All this sale does is show the depressing amount of DLC that’s released for games nowadays…

Gray-Fox47 4 February, 2015 @ 12:30 pm   12

Wow actual dlc deals it’s about time really think there’s far to few dlc deals on the store.
And finally the Arkham Origins Season Pass for €6,00 that’s at least a price I’m willing to pay for it so it’s about time to 100% the game before Arkham Knight.

Nothing on the sale for me. Was thinking about maybe getting The Wolf Among Us. Any chance you could get it on sale? Would prefer PS4 but PS3 is good if PS4 is too early

    Christoff1985 4 February, 2015 @ 1:21 pm

Probably won’t gonna happen in the short term, cause TWAU was already on January Sale (PS4 at least).

    dark_angel69 4 February, 2015 @ 1:59 pm

Ah right. Thanks for letting me know. Didn’t notice it back then cos only just started to have an interest in it from yesterday

Hire me, I would never put out an update like this without the prices!

furryhawk 4 February, 2015 @ 12:35 pm   15

£109 for a microtransaction? And you let that happen? Free to play lol.

any hope for “left behind” ?

Christoff1985 4 February, 2015 @ 12:37 pm   17

Wow, PS Plus discounts are back! Wonder why these were absent two weeks ago… Was it because of the superb 10% discount action?

Anyway might grab Lone Survivor – heard many good things about the game, but sold my PS3 before the game arrived to Plus.

Are there any chances for the discount of the Escape Plan DLCs?

TomaCentral 4 February, 2015 @ 12:42 pm   18

No Vita (gravity rush, senran etc.) dlc? Lol shock.

NZSephiroth 4 February, 2015 @ 12:45 pm   19

Hey Chris. Any chance of un upgrade pack on the store for The Last of Us PS3. Currently cheaper to buy brand new GOTY edition than buy the main DLC from the store. Thanks.

Alphaembryo 4 February, 2015 @ 12:54 pm   20

Click on one of the two comments below that corresponds better on how you feel about this sale.
Please, click only one, so that the results are more or less representative of our feelings towards it. Thank you.

Alien Isolation is still 69.99€ on the Playstation Store, anyone knows when the deals kick in?

madmanwithabox12 4 February, 2015 @ 12:55 pm   22

The gusto of Activision to have Black Ops Declassified at £45 still, when it’s two years old and one of the worst games on Vita. A game that did more damage than good, sitting at £45 when you can get Killzone Mercenary (far and away the best FPS on Vita and a vastly superior game to BOD) for as low as £15. Damn straight it should be 80% off. It should stay there too.

    Gray-Fox47 4 February, 2015 @ 3:36 pm

Well it’s ratio golds to bronzes is better, also the game doesn’t require 50+ hours to complete and my biggest gripe with games is online trophies.
So in short I might try it out for a tenner while I’m probably never try Mercenary even when given free.
So guess I’ll have to check out if the game is an enjoyable enough game, I enjoyed Resistance on Vita so if it’s anywhere near that scale it’s good enough for me, even better if it will work on the Vita TV.

Why no PS + discount on the DEAL of the WEEK?

WearingFin 4 February, 2015 @ 1:03 pm   24

Anyone who was thinking of getting Alien Isolation should jump on that deal. A fantastic game which deserved better as and is a bargain at that price. As for the others, not bad, it’s a shame that the Vita version of Velocity Ultra isn’t on sale but I think that the first digital discounts sale would have been hard to beat, I think I’ll pick up Mousecraft.

mattyhew2100 4 February, 2015 @ 1:07 pm   25

No Advanced Warfare Season Pass deal? 🙁

andrewsqual 4 February, 2015 @ 1:07 pm   26

Holy moly that’s a lot of discounts. Will have to double check this once the section goes live on the Web Store (as I’m not 100% sure what I already own in this vast list) 🙂

PLEASE do these DLC sales more often!
Can’t believe DLC from 2007 is this overpriced.

    Stonesthrow 4 February, 2015 @ 1:23 pm

“Can’t believe DLC from 2007 is this overpriced.”

    Exactly..

    fps_d0minat0r 4 February, 2015 @ 2:14 pm

They need to start doing permanent price drops on DLC’s and giving warnings on the multiplayer DLC where the servers may be dead.

    fps_d0minat0r 4 February, 2015 @ 2:15 pm

By dead I mean hardly any players playing, even though the servers are running.

    Pazknallie 4 February, 2015 @ 3:43 pm

Just look at Call of Duty World at War. That game’s multiplayer is dead, yet they still want €25 for the map packs. What a joke.

I actually like this week’s deals a lot. Absolutely nothing for me, which is good, considering my huge backlog of games. 😀

Stonesthrow 4 February, 2015 @ 1:19 pm   29

+ DLC sales, Season pass sales.
– Too much of the same stuff that has already been on sale several times.

Nothing for me.

Graffin_G 4 February, 2015 @ 1:19 pm   30

Dear Chris Howe, since you’re the content manager for SCEE and Jawad is rather selective and unhelpful with his replies, can you please look into the sad state of missing content for games like Rock Band and Rocksmith 2014?

Rock Band content should have been available 2 weeks ago.

Whilst there’s Rocksmith 2014 content that should have been added over 3 months ago. The situation on the PS4 is even more dire. The US PSN Store has 507 titles available on the PS4, whilst the AU/UK PSN Store shows only 174 for the PS4. According to the developers, they’ve tried reaching out to SCEE to correct this, but not getting anywhere.

    Christoff1985 4 February, 2015 @ 1:30 pm

If You’re saying, that Jawad is “selective and unhelpful”, then Chris will probably redefine these words in Your dictionary. For the whole last Year I remember maybe 10 replies from him on the blog, and You rather wouldn’t call them helpful… (of course I didn’t actually count them, but most Chris posts were left without any answers at all)

You must be having a laugh! Chris is the worst. Jawad and Fred usually make attempts to reply.

Porcupeth00 4 February, 2015 @ 1:34 pm   31

I assume it’s gonna take a few hours for the deal of the week discount to kick in? Alien still full price

SSJ4_Haruhi 4 February, 2015 @ 1:42 pm   32

I’m not part of the Sony Defense force at all, but I gotta say, this is honestly the best DLC sale I have seen here.

Over 60% off loads of current season passes, plus fan favourite’s game DLC.

Will be getting some stuff that is for sure.

DuquesneWhistle 4 February, 2015 @ 1:45 pm   33

I sold my copy of Watch Dogs as soon as I finished the game. Is Bad Blood a stand-alone DLC or do I need to actual game to play it? Thanks.

MartinScott 4 February, 2015 @ 1:46 pm   34

Does Need For Speed complete DLC not apply to PS4. So wanted to buy when discounted. If you add up all the bits its same price. Raging.

How about reducing the price of Dying Light to something that isn’t a complete and utter insult?

SSJ4_Haruhi 4 February, 2015 @ 1:57 pm   36

Jawad, Fred, or whoever, as the Alien Isolation season pass doesn’t say PS4 and PS3 then does that mean the deal is only for PS3?

Secondly, if I bought it for PS3, would it automatically give me the PS4 season pass as well?

I ask as I plan to get A:I later in the year when I get my PS4.

fps_d0minat0r 4 February, 2015 @ 2:06 pm   37

Finally a good discount on most wanted DLC.

And please can we have NFS rivals on PS4’s PS+ next month
=)

why do none of the links work?
they all seem to bring up error pages from the us store.

You guys need to figure out a better way to present these sales, its frustrating to sift through this giant list to figure out which is ps3, ps4 or vita. Also please pick up your calculators, comes across as really lazy just whacking on ‘60% of this price’…

EternalChaos72 4 February, 2015 @ 2:29 pm   40

How about putting up the discount prices? We are only being shown the original prices.

EternalChaos72 4 February, 2015 @ 2:30 pm   41

Why is there no discount price shown? i think i double posted this, sorry if i did.

I’ll definitely be getting the Farcry 4 season pass. One of the highlights of the PS4 that I played to death and still wanted more!

DsupremeR 4 February, 2015 @ 2:38 pm   43

Can you please stop it with this format of pricing? Don’t just show the original price and the discount percentage, but also show the ACTUAL DISCOUNTED PRICE! This is three weeks in a row now that you guys pull this prank on us. If you want to do your job better and actually want to promote these games to us, how about showing the actual price on sale instead of making us recalculate each individual price on each item. That for sure is an incentive killer for impulse buyers.

I actually dare to see someone from this blog comment on this where they try to justify being lazy and delivering sub-par work by not doing a good promotion on these games which are on sale.

DarkArchoNx66 4 February, 2015 @ 2:45 pm   44

Lot’s of dlc’s and season passes without the games. Not buying Black Flag until I get a Ps4, or any other Ac games that are not complete. I stopped at Ac3 which wasn’t very good, hence I don’t care about the Dlc’s. I’ve already bought all the Mass Effect 2/3 dlc’s at some sale ages ago for a much higher price but I am a fan and a sucker when it comes to that series, even though I owned everything already on 360.

Oh, yeah right activision…Never gonna happen.

P.S just finished downloading the Thief and surprisingly it included the bank heist dlc. It’s less than 70mb which means a lot but it’s welcome either way. Never gonna play any of the others games but just because of Thief I consider this month a good one. No hopes for the next one. My sub expires at 10th anyway so even if it is a good game I won’t have the time to play it.

so where is drop off for Alien Isolation? the same price as previous, no deal’s label, as with CoD

PES 2015 on PS3 please. I missed out on the shocking £12 christmas deal. The dates and times on the website were not clear.

Pazknallie 4 February, 2015 @ 3:38 pm   47

Call of Duty World at War map packs… really? That game’s online multiplayer is unplayable on PS3. Nobody is playing it except a couple of hackers. But thanks for the discounts, anyway.

Shadiochao 4 February, 2015 @ 4:56 pm   48

I wonder what it would take for Assassin’s Creed Revelations’ DLC to go on sale. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen, despite all the other AC sales we get.

@Chris Howe
There’s some problem on russian store with Dead Space DLC’s: on DLC pages it shows discounted prices, but when I add them into my basket it shows the original prices. Please fix it ASAP.

Absolutely abysmal. No money from me this month.
