Please click the box below that reflects how you feel about this sale.

    I like these deals.

    I don’t like these deals.

How about using ONE account to spam this “poll”?

I like the deals, the think I dislike is the way Sony interacts with their customers. Clearly there is a Store problem right now and yeah sure it will be sorted out but what is the problem or what kind of a time frame are we talking about? Sony reps in this blog always tells us that they will be more customer friendly in the future but they never are. Sony you have top notch products but your customer service and your software are mediocre at best.

Thanks for discounting Diva F ..

will part 2 also be discounted any time soon ? Trying to fill up my new vita with cool games 🙂

Australian prices? Or are we excluded from this sale? 🙁

    Fred Dutton 18 February, 2015 @ 1:33 pm

1,000 apologies 🙁 We’ll do our best to be more comprehensive next time. It can be a bit of a race against the clock to include multiple territories’ pricing, and we just didn’t make it in time this week. Suffice to say, these deals are definitely good for AU too – check your local PS Store for AU$ prices.

    Jawad Ashraf 18 February, 2015 @ 1:45 pm

We will do our best, but as Fred has mentioned, it can be difficult to get them on time, plus there are technical aspects that surround it, which make it that much more difficult to get. You will see the prices from time to time, and hopefully consistently. Fingers crossed.

    MrSabuhudo 18 February, 2015 @ 3:18 pm

Why not include the swiss franc too? 😀 That would be hilarious haha!

Australia is also a part of EU PSN?

    Arkeologen 18 February, 2015 @ 5:03 pm

    Don’t forget about Swedish prices!
If Australia should have the prices shown, so should Sweden, we don’t use €, but sek.

    didsburydan 18 February, 2015 @ 5:36 pm

they mean they have to spend a while adding on the infamous “Australia tax” to each game.

    @ Fred & Jawad

I can appreciate that you are busy with other aspects of your job and that other region pricing might not be at the top of the list.

However, I do query the explanation, what can be so technical about it? It can only be rounding right? The reason I ask, is that I’ve noticed that content for the weekly store update has been popping up really early on the Webstore recently.

I picked up the Hatsune Miku song DLC at about 10am AEST on the 18th, started seeing new content about 4 hrs later, but the Blog post always pops up at the end of the day or the following day for us. In other words, the AU prices are organised and on the webstore well before they are officially announced.

So if the regular store update can occur ~12hrs before the Blog post, surely something can be organised ongoing to allow forthcoming sales and things like that?

Another reason why prices are good… Not sure if this is across the territory, but the webstore prices may not be reflective of actual… eg:

    Killzone : Mercenary
    Webstore : AU$24.95
    Vita Store : AU$13.46

    hitman_stephen 18 February, 2015 @ 12:41 pm

I recommend nearly every ps vita game on the sale, those prices are just crazy! O_O

Any news, when we can expect proper firmware update?
Personally, I want this:

1. Selective and full Backup/Restore
Stock HDD is very small to hold current games, especially when many users buying digital versions and have Plus subscription.
Today I want to buy 5 games, but I don’t have space to download them (and I own PS4 only about 5 months)
It is good to have possibility to backup selected games to free space.
Also, after replacing HDD, not everyone can quickly redownload or even afford (if traffic is not free) to download roughly 450 gigabytes.

2. Ability to separately delete selected games and DLCs
Why this “must have” feature is missing?
For example, if I want to delete BF4 DLCs (about 30 Gb), I need to delete whole game and redownload 40 Gb again. This is stupid.

3. Better save management and sorting
We have no sorting option for saves display – only fixed “last modified” sorting.
And what if user just want to see saves and check their size/date/time?
Currently users are asked, what they want to do with saves, prior seeing them.
So, without inserted USB or active subscription, it is necessary to press “Delete” just to browse saves.
Why instead not to ask, which location you want to browse, and then display saves?
Then user can browse saves, mark them (if necessary) and decide, what he want to do with marked saves.

    andrewsqual 18 February, 2015 @ 12:41 pm

I agree with all these features. It has been 4 months now since the major 2.0 update. Would be nice to get the next sleuth of features around now. 🙂

    Bovrillor 18 February, 2015 @ 1:08 pm

    All legit requests,

And along the same lines… there is no way *at all* that I can find to delete Vita PS+ Cloud Saves.

    Seriously?

    Fred Dutton 18 February, 2015 @ 1:31 pm

I haven’t got news for you today, but the next update is not too far out. We’ll update you here asap.

if they didn’t do that for PS3 i wouldn’t expect it for PS4 either

    Simulacrum_AT 18 February, 2015 @ 2:51 pm

You now what also would be nice? When PS4, PS3 and Vita would synch message status. I mean, when Im writing on Vita and login to PS3 I have hundreds unreaded PMs and the only option I have is “delete all”. Why not “set all to seen” or “[PLUS] autosynch messagestatus”? 🙂

Personally, I’d like MKV playback with built in subs, so I could finally watch my anime on the TV.

For the love of god I hope they include folders and the option to permanently delete stuff from you library. Organization is completely nonexistent without them.

Also, I hope they remove the Purchase Button on overview for physical games. Why does it need to be there if I already own the disc? Just makes it feel like I don’t own actually own the game.

Hmmmm, that MK on Vita deal looks mighty good

Its a bit of a dodgy port. The gameplay and framerate is fine but the graphics are almost PSP level. Great game, just prepare yourself for lack of eye candy. Especially next to SFxT which is a cracker of a port.

It’s worth it, you get all DLCs and an extra Tower challenge.

Pretty good deals

Good to see you guys have finally found that calculator 🙂

Come on!! Splinter cell blacklist had only been once in psn dealsand ubisoft games appeare every week. Thats not fair

Alphaembryo 18 February, 2015 @ 12:36 pm   10

Click on one of the two comments below that corresponds better on how you feel about this sale.
Please, click only one, so that the results are more or less representative of our feelings towards it. Thank you.

“GTA IV £3.29, GTA: Vice City £1.64, GTA 3 £1.64, GTA: Episodes From Liberty City £3.29, Resident Evil 2 £1.97, Resident Evil 3 £1.97 (PS3) Rayman Legends (PS3/PS4) £6.49, Shadow Warrior £3.60, Bioshock / Bioshock 2 / Sleeping Dogs (PS3) £3.29 Each, Just Cause 2 £2.63 / Ultimate Edition £3.95), Need For Speed Most Wanted / Dragon Age™ II / Crysis 2 / Crysis 3 / Fight Night Champion / Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning / NFL Blitz – £2.63 Each”

Thats a small selection of some of the deals that have been on the US Store.

Our sales are an absolute joke.

I totally agree….so sick and tired of this. We always pay more and get much less.

I forgot to mention that the result in such a significant disparity between the regions is forcing EU PlayStation owners to registered as NA and crediting their accounts using prepaid card from Target.

If you buy a lot of games its clearly worth the effort in doing so as HUKD is full of people.

Killerattax 18 February, 2015 @ 12:36 pm   12

While I generally appreciate these discounts, it’s disappointing that all games are still more expensive than in the NA sale. Mordor PS4 for a European PS+ Subscriber: 34,99€, for a North American PS+ Subscriber: 21,95€. A difference far too big to just compensate VAT and exchange rate volatility.

Still feeling like a second class customer here Sony.

    menagezer0 18 February, 2015 @ 12:42 pm

So? I hardly think Sony is at fault for pricing on THIRD PARTY games.

    TrueMurton 18 February, 2015 @ 1:16 pm

Actually, yes they are. At E3 2013 a Sony exec stood at the front of the hall and promised that prices wouldn’t change just because its a new gen. This of course was announced for all first party games and it was said that some third party publishers had agreed to follow suit. What happened in reality is competition meant that all games publishers had to follow. Thing is, Sony didn’t apply this policy outside of the US, and first party games increased in price by almost 50% overnight, to offset the reduction in revenue from the US, of course this means that third parties do the same and there you go, £55 quid games.

If Sony announced today that with immediate effect all first party games would be, both retail and download, £40 again it would be a month tops before all games were £40 again. All it takes is for whichever exec decided Europe must subsidise America to reverse his idiotic decision and preferably resign afterwards.

    FallingStickman 18 February, 2015 @ 1:51 pm

Also @menagezer0, you seem to forget the the prices on the PS Store are directly influenced by Sony’s cut from those sales, which in turn is influenced by the sales estimates Sony requires from third party publishers.

    HellsSyerBlue 18 February, 2015 @ 5:39 pm

so they like us so much that they dont update the store still full price the games but watever people just get a Usa account they respect the people there not like here with joke discounts

DEUS EX u are finally mine! Which is the difference between directorss cut and normal game?

    XDerKleineX 18 February, 2015 @ 12:45 pm

The Director’s cut is a newer version that has slightly updated boss fights and includes the DLC (plus the DLC is integrated better into the main game).

If you have a half-decent PC I wouldn’t recommend getting the game in this sale though, since you can get it with a bunch of other Square Enix games for about 7$ in the current humblebundle: https://www.humblebundle.com/

I dont have a good pc so… directors cut?

    Bovrillor 18 February, 2015 @ 1:10 pm

The small changes make the Director’s Cut INFINITELY better, and is literally the way the game was supposed to be made until financial issues forced outsourcing.

The ‘regular’ version should be ignored. It never happened. Nothing to see here.

Nice deal, i’ll buy some titles to celebrate Chinese’s new year.

Some nice deals, many that are the same as they have been in the past though.

One thing though: who finds it acceptible (whether it is Sony or Warner Bros.) that a game like Lego The Hobbit can be € 7,49 on Steam when it is on sale and it is € 29,99 on here. You could say it may be a better version, maybe it costs more to publish on PS4, but really, such a huge difference is a slap in the face.

Blame Warner Bros. all you want, they may set the price, but as platform owner you should be able to do something about that. Apparently on Steam it is possible (and profitable?) for them and here it isn’t, that’s your fault really.

darthMUMPTY 18 February, 2015 @ 12:46 pm   16

Shame I just got rid of my vita……some good deals…….but the crap support for it was to much for me……so it went bye bye. To little to late sony

    MrSabuhudo 18 February, 2015 @ 3:39 pm

Dude, do you even know what’s coming out on the vita in 2015? I feel genuinely sorry for you.

    MrSabuhudo 18 February, 2015 @ 3:40 pm

For missing out on all those games that is.

    man_utd_xl 18 February, 2015 @ 6:43 pm

Your loss, there’s plenty of quality games on it already, due to having a PS3 and PS4 i’ve hardly put a dent into my vita backlog and i’ve only bought 6 games for it, the rest are from plus, the list of games coming out this year is insane

    residentSteve 20 February, 2015 @ 2:43 am

There are games for vita this year really? Got rid of mine 6 months after launch don’t regret it one bit.

Thanks for remembering the Vita’s birthday. Your american colleagues forgot about it 🙁

    residentSteve 20 February, 2015 @ 2:45 am

It was mentioned on Facebook they forgot its 2nd birthday too lol but the vita is dead now anyways.

XtianHawkGamer 18 February, 2015 @ 12:49 pm   18

Pretty good deals here but damn could’ve saved £4 on Tomb Raider DE if I waited. Oh well…

Tempted by GOW Collection, Killzone: Mercenary and ACIII: Liberation on Vita, I always hoped they’d go free on PS+ but the Via games on PS+ now are pretty much exclusively smaller titles or indies.

BirdieYumYum 18 February, 2015 @ 12:51 pm   20

Well, gues it’s time to enrich my vita library …now if I could just get a deal on those memory cards

I see you are in Hungary (Or Austria- i cant see the colours on these stupid small flags) but here you can get the 64GB for £68 on Amazon. Add a couple of quid for international postage.

Danganronpa 2 it is then. PS plus discounts on top definitely seem to be becoming a rarity these days…

bravo9zero 18 February, 2015 @ 12:58 pm   22

No Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition deal like US got? 🙁
That game is so overpriced on UK PS store.

    AbandonedTrolley 18 February, 2015 @ 1:03 pm

Was hoping for this too so I could get rid of my disc, guess I will be buying on a US account then.

    THUNDERCAT1973 18 February, 2015 @ 1:29 pm

even if it was, you know sony Europe it would be at least £10 more than the american store price

umariqbal78 18 February, 2015 @ 12:58 pm   23

I think Tomb Raider DE will end up as a PS Plus free game. What do you guys think?

    Bovrillor 18 February, 2015 @ 1:11 pm

    Seems likely.

Especially since PS+ stuff always comes a month or two after it’s been in a sale.

    Overlord1304 18 February, 2015 @ 1:15 pm

Possibly, but not soon, as Tomb Raider on PS3 was on IGC fairly recently (Last year? Not 100% sure when).

    Fred Dutton 18 February, 2015 @ 1:35 pm

I can’t see beyond March at present, but it certainly isn’t in the Plus line-up for next month.

    MrSabuhudo 18 February, 2015 @ 3:38 pm

Yeah, don’t count on it. The PS3 version was already free (january 2014), so it would [MODERATED] a lot of people off…

    dark_angel69 18 February, 2015 @ 3:57 pm

I was wondering about that. Is it possible it can happen? Does it count as a different game even tho it’s the same game as the PS3 but with DE added on?

    Ghani_Rulz 18 February, 2015 @ 5:24 pm

its till expensive in the store dosent shows discounted price to me

Tomb Raider is still broken on PS4, savegame gets corrupted near 70-80% and Square-Enix never bothered to fix this.

OldHorn666 18 February, 2015 @ 1:01 pm   24

Downloaded Destiny demo when I got PS4, and now when I try to buy Guardian Edition, it says I can’t buy it ’cause I already own it? Damn, what the Hell? Nice sale, btw, US gets better prices, once again!

madmanwithabox12 18 February, 2015 @ 1:04 pm   25

Very good Vita sales, though nothing for me this time. I’ve got most of that stuff and the rest isn’t really jumping out at me. Great sales nonetheless.

Vita’s 3rd birthday, is there gonna be any proper celebrations coming up? Game reveals?

THUNDERCAT1973 18 February, 2015 @ 1:06 pm   26

some OK deals but still a joke compared to the american sale, were shadow of mordor is about £19

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/all-deals/cid=STORE-MSF77008-ALLDEALS

    HellsSyerBlue 18 February, 2015 @ 5:37 pm

yeah but how the hell are they going to do discounts like that if they dont update this ones on the store its called not caring for the fans

But a year later…isn’t possible a discount on Left Behind PS3 dlc??

Overlord1304 18 February, 2015 @ 1:14 pm   28

Great sale, thanks! Any chance of Rayman Legends for Vita being added?

I’m sure many of you haven’t yet heard of this simple browser plug-in that does what Sony can’t (or won’t) do: SORT YOUR DOWNLOAD LIST. I’ve tried it and it’s awesome; you can sort, search and filter all your downloads, and I feel like I have to share it with as many people as possible. Download here:
http://repod.github.io/psdle/

RemyX-1988 18 February, 2015 @ 1:19 pm   29

It’s a shame to see that the PlayStation Vita-version of “Samurai Warriors 4” did not receive a discount, but the PlayStation 3- and PlayStation 4-versions did. I already bought the game at full price on PlayStation 4, and I’m not going to spend another €39,99 on the Vita-version. As much as I like Koei Tecmo, it’s just not happening. So I guess I’ll wait another week to see if the game will get a discount next week… 🙁

Also, anyone interested in getting Mortal Kombat for the Vita, please note that the online servers have since shut down. You can still play online on the console version, but not on Vita. You have been warned!

spikemad2005 18 February, 2015 @ 1:21 pm   30

Anyone bought Super Stardust Ultra for PS4? The PS Plus price was £7.99 but I got charged £9.99. Is there a glitch?

Some great deals there guys.

You’ve instantly saved me £20 as I was gonna buy Ys: Memories of Celceta this Friday for £35.

The evil within for £20 is a must and Deus Ex: HR (£3) cannot be missed by anyone. Also if you don’t own Persona 4 Golden and have a vita (or PSTV) then do yourself a favor and grab it now!!!

wraithdub 18 February, 2015 @ 1:30 pm   32

destiny ill pick it up next pay day have it on my x1 may as well get the ps4 version

Mysterion_86 18 February, 2015 @ 1:31 pm   33

Nice sale for a change, great selection of titles across all platforms.
I do however have a legit question:
19,99 GBP converts to roughly 27,10 EUR. Still we get charged 39,99 EUR in the same sale… Disappointing to say the least…
Why are we paying that much more compared to our friendly British neighbors?

    Its everywhere

    AC 4 £19.99/€24.99
    BF4 £24.99/€29.99
    destiny £29.99/€39.99

    ac4-bf4 5 pounds 5 euro diff
    bf4-destiny 5 pounds 10 euro diff

I dont know how they calculate either

    Mysterion_86 18 February, 2015 @ 1:47 pm

Could just be a typo though… It’s especially weird for The Evil within on Ps4…

    Mysterion_86 18 February, 2015 @ 1:56 pm

Just checked the UK store… The Evil Within is 34,99 GBP…
    So it’s just a typo :p

    [nothingtoseehere.jpg]

According to Basket21s prices and the current exchange rate you are actually paying less

Could we also get the individual games in the trilogies discounted?

I bought Sly 1 a while back and as a result can’t purchase the trilogy. The individual games are then more expensive than the discounted price for the whole lot.

    RemyX-1988 19 February, 2015 @ 12:51 pm

I’ve replied about this issue to someone else on here, too. So I will just copy my reply to this person for you. It might help you. 😉

    Hi,

Your issue with the “The Sly Trilogy” for PlayStation Vita… I have had that same issue. Back in 2012, the original ‘Sly Raccoon’ was given out to PlayStation Plus-members. Because of this, it is now impossible for any of these people to purchase the entire trilogy when they so choose. You keep getting the message that you are not allowed to make the purchase because you already own 33,33% of the package. What I did, is call up the Customer Service of PlayStation. I told them my issue and how it came to be. They asked me to look in my downoad list for the exact date of the ‘purchase’ of the first game, and they acknowledged that it happened. Fast-forward two weeks and the entire Sly Trilogy, both the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 versions, were given to me… for free. I’m currently enjoying them and they are awesome! I would advise you to make the effort and call them up. Hopefully they will help you in the same way they helped me. The games are worth it!

And while you’re at it, get the digital version of “The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy” too! Buying this will also get you the PlayStation 3-versions of all three games, and that is great! Just trust me, though. NEVER get the physical version of this Trilogy. Why? Because Ratchet & Clank 2 keeps crashing when you are travelling to other planets and Mass Media, Insomniac Games nor Sony themselves have ever fixed this issue. But that’s a story for another day…

Wish they would do a good discount of BF4 premium. I would never pay the current asking price for it because BF4 just wasnt good enough. With the Premium edition getting such a cut, dropping the premium DLC price to 10, maybe 15quid max would get me right back on board. I cant be alone either.

    Jarskaaja 18 February, 2015 @ 3:31 pm

While the EU never saw the base game go on sale, the US store had a Battlefield 4 deal for incredibly cheap compared to the Premium Edition. It shows that EA does not value the base game much any more, so even if Premium itself went on sale, it’d probably just be €5/£5 cheaper, if even that.

Do you have BF4 on disc or digital? If it’s a disc, you could trade in the disc and play the digital version you’re getting here.

    man_utd_xl 18 February, 2015 @ 6:50 pm

they had premium on sale for £11 before christmas, when was the last time you played BF4? you’re mad to think the game and DLC is worth less than £15, it’s easily the best shooter available on next gen consoles since it got patched, haven’t had any problems online or offline in over a year

TomaCentral 18 February, 2015 @ 1:32 pm   36

Great sale for the vita! Well done and thank you Sony staff, I usually complain but credit where it’s due.

What is the Killzone Shadow Fall (upgrade)? Upgrade from or to what?

Porcupeth00 18 February, 2015 @ 1:38 pm   38

Is DOA5 core fighters (free version) coming to EU too?

Yeah – most of these aren’t showing as being on sale in the Australian store….

Also – damn it, where’s that complete Telltale Pack??? Match the sale price that the US is getting on that & I’ll buy it in an instant….

MaxDiehard 18 February, 2015 @ 1:41 pm   40

You may want to check the pricing for the LBP3 Griffin Costume in today’s Store Update.

Price is showing as £73.99 when it should be £0.79

Haha true dat, it’s absurd. This also applies to the ITALIAN store, by the way.

    Jawad Ashraf 18 February, 2015 @ 2:10 pm

It comes with real griffin feathers, you know.

We’re on the case already, so a fix should be right around the corner.

Last year i buy Ratchet and Clank part 1 ,now i.want.buy Trilogy on sale but system tell me its unavaible for me becouse i bought ratchet1. Can you fix this or give on the sale single parts RaC?

WearingFin 18 February, 2015 @ 1:42 pm   42

What is the upgrade version of Killzone Shadow Fall? I’ve never seen it before, nor is it in the store.

I’d like to speculate that you’re going to make the multiplayer free in next month’s IGC, and this will be to unlock the rest of the game.

    Mysterion_86 18 February, 2015 @ 2:14 pm

It’s for when when you have the standalone coop expansion and want to upgrade to the full game…

Shadow of Mordor Legion Edition – Plus discount isn’t showing or in the basket.

No killzone Shadow Fall Season pass discount? You are really playing stupid. I´ve check for the past months if there is a promo but you put the complete game with season pass lower than the season pass itself.
Are you expecting no one plays MP of the game to put it on promotion? Ridiculous!

PS: You dio the same with Sniper elite 3, now that the Complete edition of the game is almost out you charging more for that SP than the retail game cost.

telbanham 18 February, 2015 @ 1:46 pm   45

So is the Vita Child of Light Cross-Buy for PS4?

TianGCstar 18 February, 2015 @ 1:47 pm   46

Really nice deals, especially for Vita. Thank you for that. I noticed a few things.
1. Regarding “The Wolf Among Us – The Complete First Season”, on the store, it asks me to choose between 2 versions, one at the normal price, and one at the discounted price. Is that just a bug or is there any difference?
2. The link to “MotorStorm RC Complete Edition” in the article points to the base version that is not discounted. But a search on the store finds the complete edition that is at the expected price, so no problems here.
3. Resogun is cross-buy, so it could be mentioned in the Vita section too.

And now a question for other users. How is The Wolf Among Us on Vita? It’s a bit hard to find information on it on the web. Is that also a full story or are there plans for a 2nd season? Thanks for your help.

Vytautas20 18 February, 2015 @ 1:47 pm   47

nice deal…

but when will we get discount on Sound Shapes and Plants vs. Zombies on Vita ???
I’m waiting for half a year and these games NEVER get cheaper.

lordvorador 18 February, 2015 @ 1:49 pm   48

PSN

Can someone confirm to me that Child of Light (PS3) is cross buy with the PS4 version? If i buy it for 6,49€, will i get the PS4 version?

    lordvorador 18 February, 2015 @ 1:51 pm

    No its not cross buy

    AbandonedTrolley 18 February, 2015 @ 1:55 pm

It’s cross buy between PS3/PS4 but does not include the Vita version.

Are you sure? In the description for Child of Light (after following the link in the sale), it states in portuguese : Este produto Cross-Buy permite-te transferir as versões para a PlayStation®3 e a PlayStation®4.
Which basically means “This cross buy product allows you to transfer the Playstation3 and Playstation4 versions.”

Is it the description that is wrongly translated, perhaps?

    Ok, thanks, AbandonedTrolley 🙂

    TrueMurton 18 February, 2015 @ 3:30 pm

Wouldn’t be the first time a game was listed as cross buy and turned out not to bem CrimsonLand for example, except that it was supposed to be and SCEE store techs messed it up. Eventually they simply dropped the cross buy line from the description rather than fix the actual mistake, must be good to have a job where you are allowed to screw up constantly and if you get something really wrong, you can just break someone elses promise rather than actually admit to anything.

    man_utd_xl 18 February, 2015 @ 6:52 pm

It is definitely cross buy for PS3 and PS$, just not for the vita version

lordvorador 18 February, 2015 @ 1:50 pm   50
