MotoGP 15 unveiled for PS3 and PS4

Here’s your first look at the latest iteration of Milestone’s bike racer

The new MotoGP 15, coming soon to PS3 and PS4, is the third instalment of the motorcycle racing series dedicated to the most adrenalin-charged championship in the world. The title is packed with new content to improve and revolutionise the game experience for all you racing fans. Faithfulness to the official teams of the championship and a highly realistic riding system allow for full immersion in the world of the MotoGP, gamepad in hand.

This new chapter introduces three principal new features that are certain to satisfy even the most ardent fans: a whole new level of rider customisation, an enhanced career mode and the entire 2015 season of the motorcycle world championship.

Customisation plays a central and structural role in MotoGP 15, offering aspiring riders more than 100 accessory items and three different types of motorhome (Basic, Mid-range, and Top-range), purchasable with GP Credits, a virtual currency that can be earned in any online and offline race mode. All these items, and other content, can be purchased with GP Credits. Use them in the MyGP section to purchase new liveries and helmets to customise your rider.

The game features:

  •  Over 20 bike models divided into three classes: MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto 3
  •  40 different liveries, with official colour schemes that can be adapted to your own style

You can also customise the appearance of your rider, altering variables including:

  •  Physical attributes
  •  Race suits
  •  Boots
  •  Gloves

The career mode has been enhanced, and integrated with the customisation features. After creating your rider you’ll start out racing as a Wild Card. Subsequently, you’ll be able to negotiate your future by signing with one of the Official Teams of the 2015 championship, or, through the various sponsors, racing with your own Private Team. Race performance influences team negotiations, so evaluating your objectives and how you plan to achieve them is more important than ever.

Finally, get ready to discover, for the first time in the series, the new Beat the Time mode. Demonstrate your skills on a bike with automatically assigned characteristics: have you got what it takes to beat the record for that track?

MotoGP 15 The Official Videogame is currently in development at Milestone studios in Italy, and is scheduled for release in spring 2015. Get ready to race on the most famous tracks in the world in adrenalin-charged challenges, and experience all the thrills of the motorcycle world championship.

No Vita version this year is a shame.

-More Realistic vs arcadish approche

Ah why no more Vita version? :(

Is the game will be available on the 360 and the One also?

P.s i know that im not talking about PlayStation there.

And psvita???

Sony, you must feel ashamed…. you have left for dead ps vita, the most wonderful piece of handheld hardware I ever seen…

What’s next… ? no more musous? no more indies?

You have sold a ps4 only because I loved Vita and plus services… so PS4 was a smart move to improve the experience… right now… I’m thinking on moving to pc (steam is a winner) and find some chinese handheld to solve the portable gaming…

ps4 is getting PORTSTATION 4, and vita is dying of starvation…

no way…. sony, no way…

and by the way… what about IGC for April… ? next wednesday is first wednesday… or do you plan to delay european games instead of give the usa players one day ahead….?

as I said… sony is getting worse day by day…. maybe I will cancell my plus service and change my ps4 for a steam machine… it seems a more smart move…

Obviously not enough people bought the last game on Vita to make it worth it. Milestone aren’t a massive company like EA so they really have to focus on what sells.
They’ve been great supporters of the Vita with 6 games released so I’m grateful for what they have brought us.
Milestone also made an early jump to next releasing a couple of games before Codies have even released one!
They make really good racers and I want them to keep making great games. It looks like it’s going to be a good year with MotoGP, Ride (hello Tourist Trophy 2!) and Sebastian Loeb Rally all looking like exciting projects.
I love my Vita and it’s a shame to see Milestone go but it’s not a dead platform at all. There are a lot of great games out and coming this year. There might be no more ‘triple A’ games being made for it but that doesn’t mean there aren’t brilliant games coming to Vita.
P.S. I hope Gravity Rush 2 still comes to Vita!

“Obviously not enough people bought the last game on Vita to make it worth it.”
Is that an assumption? Cz I dont see anyone from Milestone making any such claims. First, F1 and now Moto GP had turn vita down…
The only reason I am sticking to Playstation is coz of Vita, so its a shame really….

Yes it’s an assumption based on them releasing both MotoGP 13 and 14 and not 15 on Vita. They have a working Vita engine so there must be a reason they decided not to continue supporting Vita and this is makes sense doesn’t it?
If sales of the previous games were good it would be a no brainer to release MotoGP 15 on Vita too.
I think the biggest assumption I made is that there won’t be a Vita version at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if it came to Vita later if there’s enough demand but I think it’s unlikely.
I get why people think the Vita is dying but there are games coming and Sony need to keep supporting it.
Sony themselves are porting Resident Evil Revelations 2 to Vita which is a positive sign and I hope they keep courting devs to bring games to it.

So no more PSVita versions Milestone? Really disheartening. :(

Milestone has been one of the consistent supporters of the Vita with six amazing games including: MUD, Moto GP 13, WRC 3, WRC 4, MXGP and Moto GP 14. It worries and concerns me that Ride is not releasing on Vita and now Moto GP 15 is not. Will the Vita have any sports games released this year at all? Please, I urge Milestone to support the Vita as well as you have been doing so. You already have the graphics and gameplay engine for Vita, so why not make some tweaks to the rider roster, bike liveries, graphics, audio, controls and add a new feature in there from the home console versions and release it at retail? Some of the best sports games on Vita have been from Milestone, so you can obviously do it!

Just look at the Vita gaming community here asking for Moto GP 15 on Vita and how many likes the questions for the Vita release are receiving.

Please support the PlayStation Vita.

Couldn’t agree more. Vita is slowly becoming handheld with lots of Japanese titles and less n less European n American titles.

no vita this time ?? please make it Milestone, the reason i bought vita is bcoz MotoGP series, i love to see the 15 and i love to play it anywhere and everywhere i want, thats why i love portable gaming, port it to vita please, just use the 14 graphic and physic, and enhanced everything beside that two. hope u hear it. thanks.
