Unfortuantely the platform that the tournament will be run on is currently not available in South Africa, apologies.

No dedicated servers (though promised) but an online tournament. Good job Activision.

It’s another post and run from Chris, but I’d still like to ask for an official answer as to why PS+ is delayed this month.

Also, what was the deal with taking PSN offline for two hours last night in EU peak time for totally unannounced maintenance? Can we please start getting maintenance posts again? Or at least post maintenance on the official service status page. Oh, and let the poor guy on the twitter account know when there’s maintenance going on roo, he wasted gid knows how many peoples time last night with his frankly idiotic suggestion to “rebuild the file database” which we know is the equivalent to disk defrag, how that would resolve a network connection issue is beyond me.

7.1

Is PS+ delayed? It is usually released on the first Wednesday of each month but only if it follows the first Tuesday of the month.

7.2

It’s not delayed ! Anyway pointless asking Chris any questions because he never answers them.

Seems to be the Sony way. Try getting a reply from Jawad regarding Rock Band DLC that should’ve been available 3 months ago.

Chris, Jawad, Fred and others can’t just post and ignore the most asked questions. They need to be made accountable and actually respond to customers’ concerns.

It’s getting beyond a joke. Microsoft manages to have the DLC available worldwide. Hell, even SCEA delivers its content on time, but despite the developers being in contact with SCEE and even re-submitting the content, SCEE is seemingly doing nothing about it.

Chris, as SCEE content manager, i’m sure you have the power/contacts to enquire as to what is happening with the Rock Band 3 DLC released this year (a total of 6 songs). We’d like to have them before Rock Band 4 is released. We don’t want a repeat of the Rocksmith debacle. As paying customers, we deserve some answers.

Its delayed if you actually consider his original claim of “first Wednesday of *every* month” that Chris posted last June. That was the way he pitched it, but not the way it seems to be working. He’s the PS+ guy, just giving him an opportunity to do his job properly, its up to him if he wants to continue hiding from his own failings in a lie of omission, or be a man and tell us he got it wrong.

This be perfectly honest its about time someone at SCEE grew a pair and started fighting for this region rather than blindly following corporate diktat to subsidise the US market. In the words of John McLane “if you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem so stop being part of the problem and out the other man back on”

You sir are a moron.

And yet your clearly superior mind has absolutely no counter argument beyond a single insult.

Your perfectly free to disagree with me, but everyone knows I’m right on this. Go back to that post last June, read the exact words Chris posted and tell me how the service as described and the way it is being delivered are the same.

Chris said: content will be announced on the last Wednesday of the each month and available on the first Wednesday of each month.

What happened was: content was announced on the last day of the month, a Tuesday, and will be available from the second Wednesday.

If Chris had said last June that there would be an exception when the Wednesday is the first of the month, then people would have been upset at the time but at least that would be an established rule. As we stand right now nobody at SCEE has ever officially stated that Europe must wait behind the US, until Chris as the PS+ Content manager explains that he’s working to a timetable other than the one we wer...
