I consider getting Terraria. Is that cross buy?

    amphaze-EX 15 April, 2015 @ 1:47 pm

    sadly no!

    European_Gamer 15 April, 2015 @ 1:54 pm

Okay, then I will consider if I should get it on Vita or PS4.

    MaxDiehard 15 April, 2015 @ 1:55 pm

Nope. Separate on all 3 systems. I asked 505 Games about this a while back and they said they weren’t considering it.

    MaxDiehard 15 April, 2015 @ 2:05 pm

I have it on all 3 either way.

Vita is good for on the go, but the PS4 version is considered the Ultimate Edition with much higher resolution and over 1000 more content items.

    Gloria_Mundi 18 April, 2015 @ 11:23 pm

@MaxDiehard, I know the promo stuff claims specifically “this enhanced version will feature over 1000 new items” but didn’t that just mean “This edition ships with the updated patch that the PC got years ago and the Vita got last year”? I’ve never found anything that confirmed that it really does have bonus content, and the Terraria wiki’s “console history” suggests PS4 still doesn’t even have the fishing update.

(also I would say get it on Vita because the touchscreen makes crafting and digging easier, though you could always remote play if you got the PS4 version. Basically you should probably get it on the system you love more – I have it on both and barely touch the PS4 one.)

Vytautas20 15 April, 2015 @ 1:07 pm   2

Plenty of nice deals, but will we EVER get discount for Plants vs. Zombies on VITA???

So many titles….but nothing for me.

didsburydan 15 April, 2015 @ 1:08 pm   4

yawn

unbiased 15 April, 2015 @ 1:11 pm   5

Pretty poor, and again shows how EU get ripped off, got Lego marvel for 5 dollars and Lego hobbit for 12 dollars in the superior spring US sale

    NorthernFusion 15 April, 2015 @ 1:16 pm

Yup. I wish I had jumped on them when they were on sale considering how inflated they are here (even on sale).

    KaneTheGoth 15 April, 2015 @ 3:39 pm

Agreed, Lego LotR was $5 on the US store (roughly £3.23) at the time, and here it’s £12! That’s almost 4 times more expensive!

Boneymajoney 15 April, 2015 @ 1:16 pm   6

Loving these sales Sony, makes sense. No point these old games sitting there gathering dust selling nothing at full price. They will sell more in one day on sale than in a whole year at full price.

WayfaringWalrus 15 April, 2015 @ 1:17 pm   7

Phew… I was concerned for the state of my wallet for a second there. False alarm guys.

X_Blood_Curse_X 15 April, 2015 @ 1:20 pm   8

Instead of padding out the Vita sales with a load of crappy 3DS lego ports, how about just adding some good PSP games? Ys, Megaman, Growlanser, Z.H.P, Cladun?

I’d love if PSP games would go on sale, but looking at this weeks release of Brandish, which isn’t Vita compatible, SCEE doesn’t care about PSP games at all.

Hahahaha, good one, oh wait it’s not Aprils fool day. Bad sales.
Two words to inspire you Steam Sales.

Roxas598 15 April, 2015 @ 1:27 pm   10

This should be called the lazy sale

No prices listed
Weak games

Try again

    UK_Rocklance 16 April, 2015 @ 12:52 am

    Clearly SCEE doesn’t Excel.

How hard is it to create these sale lists in a spreadsheet, use that to do all the calculations and formatting, then just export them directly in text form for posting? I know it’s not hard, cos I always import these text lists into Excel and do the reverse to get them into an easy-to-read table format.

    UK_Rocklance 16 April, 2015 @ 12:56 am

So I don’t see why SCEE can’t just let Excel calculate the discounted prices and post those directly, saving us the trouble of doing math on the long lists.

JayGoITVR 15 April, 2015 @ 1:29 pm   11

Shiftlings is coming up at 35% off on the store, rather than the 50% stated here.

Bovrillor 15 April, 2015 @ 1:42 pm   12

So, SCEE don’t even have a calculator any more?

No wonder they can’t rustle up any decent sales.

RodrigoSharingan 15 April, 2015 @ 1:43 pm   13

Nothing for me. The only good thing is the Batman games that everyone allready have.

You should try making a sale on japanese games again, but this time with good sale prices.

Tagged_Deaf 15 April, 2015 @ 1:46 pm   14

Mmm, few indie games but I think I’d better leave my wallet alone for while after an big bloody assault from MK X premium edition!

Fuzzbap 15 April, 2015 @ 1:48 pm   15

Momentary excitement a Dying Light being offer of the week immediately punctured on realising that it’s still cheaper on disc.

DuquesneWhistle 15 April, 2015 @ 1:50 pm   16

Terrific sales. Said no one ever.

ThugETH 15 April, 2015 @ 1:52 pm   17

I don’t usually complain about US/EU price differences but the US got Lego Marvel last month for $5 and we get a sale price of £22!?
Yeah I’ll stick to retail, thanks anyway!

    ThugETH 15 April, 2015 @ 2:44 pm

For comparison sake thats $5 US vs $33 UK lol

    CyraxPT 15 April, 2015 @ 3:04 pm

They’ve done the same with Shadow Warrior a while ago, it was something like 6$ in the US PSN and 14€ (i think) for europe.

    CyraxPT 15 April, 2015 @ 3:17 pm

The Terraria (ps4) discount is tempting but considering that ps+ teach us not to buy indie games because they will end up appearing there, well…
And can we have more deep discounts on AAA/Retail/etc titles (besides the remastered editions)? I remember seeing Sniper Elite 3 for 12$ on a Xbox live sale and thinking that something like that would appear on a psn sale…

    CyraxPT 15 April, 2015 @ 3:19 pm

Sigh. So i respond to someone on this blog and if i want to make a new comment (non related to the post that i quoted before) i have to refresh the page? Because i clicked on the “add a comment” that is below the article and it ends up as a response to the previous post that i responded to.

Hi! which games of psvita announced here are compatible with pstv? Is too difficult to put it? As i see you put psp? And where are the psplus games for pstv? I access from pstv to store and is empty, and in the table of comparition of plus of the different platforms is announced that pstv have plus games every month, and if you refered to psvita games, then shoud be compatible and if no give two compatible. Thanks

hayzink 15 April, 2015 @ 1:57 pm   19

shame i bought white night last week and have not touched it 😀

CyberEsquilo 15 April, 2015 @ 1:59 pm   20

=(

howboutthisthen 15 April, 2015 @ 2:09 pm   21

Sony, can you look into why the PSP game Brandish, released this week, isn’t Vita compatible in the EU like it is overseas?

ambuckle 15 April, 2015 @ 2:11 pm   22

I’ll save you some time, here’s what you want to buy for your PS4 at reasonable prices:

Ironclad Tactics £4.79
South Park Pinball £2.00

    ambuckle 15 April, 2015 @ 2:25 pm

Both of these are excellent and I’m actually content with the sale, despite the other 50 things I am not interested in.

    Gray-Fox47 15 April, 2015 @ 5:45 pm

Would have bought Ironclad if it had a platinum, but since I’m already swamped with my backlog I decided quite a while ago that the exclusion of a platinum makes me not bother anymore.
And if possible just get them on the XBone or 360 if possible because games on there have full 1000 gamerscores.
Example MG Ground Zeroes, Child of Light and Vandal Hearts to name a few.

And why if you access from pstv to store there isnt a section called sales?

European_Gamer 15 April, 2015 @ 2:15 pm   24

This is for the angry people. It’s not nice to bully Chris Howe, Fred Dutton or other PS.blog writers by calling them lazy or saying that they can’t calculate just because you don’t to press a link or don’t like the content.

    European_Gamer 15 April, 2015 @ 3:50 pm

*don’t want to press a link

I sure wouldn’t mind clicking the links too much, but the Store site is one of the slowest I’ve ever seen. It’s also buggy and in general not very nice to use.

Maybe they should copy the us blog, they put the sales as tables, order by name and platforms, and put the original prize, dicounted and plus. dont u think ? 😀

    Aces73High 15 April, 2015 @ 3:43 pm

That’s a great idea KNAYDJ, I totally agree with you there.

It’s actually quite ridiculous just how polar opposite SCEE and SCEA are in so many ways… starting with their PSN pricing structures and Blog formats!

For me, someone at Worldwide Studios needs to look into introducing some serious similarities into their Playstation regions a lot closer together, right?

Come on Sony, bridge the gap, guys!

    unbiased 16 April, 2015 @ 7:30 am

Completely agree, the EU blog team pales in comparison to the us one, half of time we just get a post and run, us team respond a lot more, better set out on deals etc, hell even better deals ( although that’s Sony’s biased dealing with the us) when plus announcements are delayed they actually say sorry on the us blog, ours say nothing..

infernalmonkey1 15 April, 2015 @ 2:20 pm   26

There’s actually some really good deals here (Scram Kitty, South Park Pinball, Don’t Die Mr. Robot, Giana Sisters etc.) but they’re buried under all that expensive Warner Bros. DLC garbage.

Also for crying out loud, SCEE. Please start listing the sale prices again.

    Math is hard

    residentSteve 15 April, 2015 @ 2:46 pm

It’s a bit lazy not to list the sale price, rubbish reply Mazyx.

@Mazyx: When there’s dozens of discounts listed, it quickly gets time-consuming to calculate them. It’s especially bad with stranger prices.

stathmos 15 April, 2015 @ 2:40 pm   27

Picking up Nihilumbra, thanks!

Toni_zg5 15 April, 2015 @ 2:45 pm   28

Can we expect a GTA V discount or price drop on PS4 any soon?

Hilaveli 15 April, 2015 @ 2:49 pm   29

So some of you find this sale disappointing? You should see what happened with the Grand Theft Auto sale over at US Store.

Picked up the Mortal Kombat DLC, its the only thing that got my attention. US store recently had a flash sale and MK Arcade Kollection was available for less than $1.

The Batman games are great for anyone on PS3 that hasn’t played them. The Batman games have been on sale plenty of times already, so I think I’ve everything else I need from here.

Can we get ‘The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC’ on sale please?

dark_angel69 15 April, 2015 @ 3:02 pm   30

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – £22

I bought it this morning for £15 at Gameseek.

MadMan_Matt_ 15 April, 2015 @ 3:37 pm   31

When are we going to get a gta 5 discount for PS4? I know a lot of people including myself want the digital copy but refuse to pay the ridiculous £55 on the store. The game’s been out for longer than a lot of other games that have been on sale recently and the US just got a discount on their store

ruioliveira7 15 April, 2015 @ 3:40 pm   32

Well, Dying Light was tempting, but it’s still to expensive.

Mojo__Man 15 April, 2015 @ 3:45 pm   33

These “deals” are absolutely atrocious! lol

“Deal of the Week” is £40!? Jesus.

fragle88 15 April, 2015 @ 4:40 pm   34

Ace Combat Stocked Fuel (50 Units + 10 Free Units)
Was €34.99/£28.99/AU$52.95, now €26.99/£421.99/AU$40.95 some deal lol

Certinty 15 April, 2015 @ 5:19 pm   35

I swear over half the time I can’t tell if European PS Store sales are a joke or not, that’s how bad most of them are.

misi2mezei 15 April, 2015 @ 5:27 pm   36

Is this a joke?

“LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
50% off original price: Was €59.99/£54.99/AU$84.95”

This game was 5 dollars on the US store in March….

Sorry for the double, for some reason I couldn’t see my comment after I sent it so I sent it again.

Gray-Fox47 15 April, 2015 @ 5:38 pm   38

Nice deal on the season pass for Shadow of Mordor, no wonder I bought it on the XBOne last week for €9,99.

Stonesthrow 15 April, 2015 @ 5:45 pm   39

Weak sauce. Can’t blame them, there’s nothing much left I’m interested in even at lower prices.. Need those great AAA games to start coming in because it’s been a boring generation for me so far, with exception of a few releases and despite the best software lineup on launch ever. Only got Witcher 3, Batman, ESO and MGSV on my list so far for this year and have little interest in most indies, I need moar!! Hope to see some momentum going soon. As for sales, DLC and Season passes please. Waiting for Destiny season pass and Hardline Premium sale, though I realise that’s too soon with dlc still incoming.. Other than that, I don’t know about others, but for me (at the risk of sounding ungrateful) these deals of the week usually don’t do it. The price is still too high for me to get it on impulse, which is kind of the point of a sale.. I wouldn’t mind not seeing these deals that go from 70 to 50 and just have them on sale at an actual sales price down the line. That’s just me though, these might actually get great sales from others.

fustacluck 15 April, 2015 @ 5:56 pm   40

So, if I wanted to get the Lego Movie Video game, I could get it on “sale” for £27.50 (or £25 with PS Plus), or get it from the SCEA store for $19.99.

Thanks SCEE, you’re spoiling us as usual.

Last-Rapture 15 April, 2015 @ 6:22 pm   41

Good old SCEE, never fail to make me laugh! They’re the biggest joke around and the PS4 is quickly becoming the punchline.

jullo23 15 April, 2015 @ 6:49 pm   42

where is the saving?

DarkArchoNx66 15 April, 2015 @ 7:25 pm   43

Do you think is worth buying Middle Earth SOM for 30 euros on ps3..I wanna buy it but thinking also of waiting for a complete edition which shouldn’t be much long before it is announced.

Cap1tal-G 15 April, 2015 @ 7:27 pm   44

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Season Pass on PS4 says “Join PS Plus and pay £7.19” on a big bright button right above the standard ‘Add to Cart’ button.
I have PS Plus, it hasn’t charged me £7.19.

Is this an error?

UK_Rocklance 16 April, 2015 @ 12:58 am   45

Are the discounts actually live on the store already? Cos I am looking at the web store and everything looks like last week – no Batman Arkham series, still showing Easter Sale.

Does Arkham Collection include all DLCs to all games?

Mirabeau23 16 April, 2015 @ 5:34 am   47

Shadow of Mordor or Dying Light?

Morticus13 16 April, 2015 @ 8:11 am   48

I’m getting an E-82000113 error when I try to purchase Terraria on the PS4, is anyone else having this problem?

bob_jsus 16 April, 2015 @ 1:29 pm   49

I’m also getting an E-82000113 error when I try to purchase Terraria on the PS4, despite logging in on different machines and different networks. Thinking it’s server-side.

Boob_Man 16 April, 2015 @ 3:14 pm   50

Doesn’t look like Narco Terror has been discounted – Still up for 7.99
