PlayStation Store charts, October: Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection debuts at #1

It’s the only big release I bought on day 1 this year. :) Looking forward to the multiplayer beta in a few weeks too. :D

Can we have a statement on the situation of the Rock Band 4 DLC? A time frame would be appreciated, a lot of people are getting tired of lack of communication.

Its been nearly a month now, we have hundreds of back catalog songs that need to be updated for PS4, and all the new DLC to be released too.

I absolutely appreciate your frustration, but unfortunately I do not have new information to pass on today. The relevant teams at Harmonix and PlayStation Store are working hard to remedy the DLC situation, and as soon as there is information to share we will get word out to you immediately. An update should be forthcoming shortly, but as ever I’m loathed to quote a precise timeframe and make promises I cannot keep. Thanks for your patience, and sorry to keep you waiting for news.

Fred,

Good to see that someone at SCEE is responding. Perhaps you would care to respond on the issue of the lack of mention for Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC on the release post or the blog in general. Chris has gone silent and hasn’t responded to any questions on either his recent posts.

It doesn’t show up by default in the New Releases page on the web store, so people have to search for it (and it doesn’t show up by searching for Trails in the search string, as there’s no space between the colon and the T on the PSN store, you have to use the search string of Legend instead, which people wouldn’t necessarily do as it’s generally referred to as the Trails series.).

Considering the sheer amount of effort they put into localising this series, which has become more of a love letter to fans in the end, as it isn’t a hugely profitable title for them, the least Sony could do was promote it on the blog. AAA releases don’t need more promotion – Fallout 4 was always going to sell millions. It’s the smaller games that need the spotlight.

XSEED has done more to support the Vita than Sony first party studios in the last couple of years, and they deserve better. They should have received their own separate post for this, but the least that you could have done would have been to highlight it in the new releases post.

Thanks for flagging – I’ll get that post updated. Not a deliberate XSEEED snub at all. It’s difficult to keep track of every single title launching each week, and the publisher didn’t get in touch to ask for a slot. I’ll certainly reach out to make sure it doesn’t happen for their next release.

^ Also, I keep on waiting for someone in the team to explain the Bloodborne expansion price rise in europe from 15 to 20€. I, and many other europe players in form of protest, will not buy/pre-order until we get the old price back and at least a statement from you.

#Enjoy The Silence, Feel The Noise

No answer, yet two replies just above. Further confirmation that they don’t give a rats behind and are just going to ignore it. I’d love to be proven wrong. I’ll wait.

It is not only Bloodborne. The preorder for Street Fighter 5 is 70 euros now. Pretty sure it was 60 some time ago.

Still waiting. It’s great being right all the time.

Please Fred, You are usually great at chasing things up and replying, help us here, We aren’t just feeling ignored many of us have had enough. I have been a loyal PlayStation fan since 2007 (Owned PlayStation consoles since 1997 though) and this whole situation has made me rethink everything. I feel Sony feel like we don’t matter, well, we do. Without us they would be back in the red straight onto Administration-ville, let’s not forget it was the PlayStation brand and the customers that saved Sony as a whole and it would be just as easy for us to all leave.

I am beyond annoyed like many others and am pleading that you put an end to this lack of communication and lack of disrespect.

The whole SCEE team needs a wake up call. You aren’t doing a great job, you are barely getting by and it saddens me to deliver this level of criticism.

It is beyond redemption to me. This is by far one of the worst customer support teams i known in my life. I just wish i had a easy job like they do but unfortunately i don’t…

Btw your comment is also gonna be ignored. lol.

4.2

Could you calm down? You’re taking this far too seriously for your age. Did they not give you enough new songs? Are you having your period? Do you not have other games to play? He’s given a statement now go back to playing My Little Pony Adventures.

4.3

This is the main reason I sold my Ps4! Communication, mysterious price changes and games that turn up whenever (if at all). At least Microsoft give you the games and dlc

And Crash dominates the classics once again. Dear Activision, sell the Crash IP to Sony so they can make a new Crash Bandicoot. I’d love to see a complete enchanted treatment like what happened to Ratchet & Clank. It’s needs to happen.

6

wow only 3 new games on the top and no Tales of Zestiria , DRAGON QUEST HEROES , DISGAEA 5 like US charts .

6.1

Sony doesn’t control what people buy y’know.

Hopefully the Bloodborne DLC won’t be on this list next month as everyone sees that the price has been stealth increased with no statement whatsoever.

Who am I kidding, people will buy it anyway, just like they buy PS4 games at vastly inflated prices..

Oh, I *will* buy it. In a few months. From a bargain sale.

As an veteran PS customer, I’ve learned to be very patient and not give Sony the pleasure of ripping me off when they feel like it. It’s quite easy actually — the DLC was never really confirmed by From in the first place, and I was pretty much convinced any plan for an expansion had gone south month ago. So I’ll pretend that Old Hunters doesn’t exist and will simply forget about it until Sony stops being stubborn.

Try it — it works!

Well, look what’s the best-selling game on PS4 — a PS3 game.

8.1

Its really not as shocking as you make it sound.

A large number of Xbox 360 owners have moved over to PS4. So being able to pick up a bundle of three highly rated games from the PS3, for less than one new release, is clearly appealing to them.

I did own a PS3 and still plan it pick it up, as I only played one of the games and would much rather play at 1080p 60fps than go back and catch up them on PS3. Although I have plenty of other games to be getting on with while I wait for a price drop.

As above. I had a 360 so never played them. Bought the collection, physical obviously as not paying that price, and they are pretty great.

Also people may have picked up for the UC4 MP beta..

Uncharted Collection is £18.99 at cdkeys at the moment. US store code BTW, but don’t let that stop ya.
