This is actually a pretty damn good sale.

    bestheelever 1 December, 2015 @ 1:28 pm

Erm not for 12 Days of Xmas MGS V PS4. Currency Converter Xe.com says we should be paying £24.60 not £29.99 like it’s listed because they are showing the € price which means the UK should pay the equivalent £ price.

    bestheelever 1 December, 2015 @ 1:32 pm

Oh on the subject of rip offs Why are we expected to pay £60 for the Journey Scarf on PlayStation Gear UK yet PlayStation Gear US only paid $22 or £15 for the Journey Scarf? We can’t even buy it from the US Gear Store as they only deliver to US/Canada. When are the UK ever going to start showing us some proper pricing ?

    bestheelever 1 December, 2015 @ 1:39 pm

Maybe its the words Journey Scarf or maybe UK PlayStation Gear store or maybe £60 or maybe US/Canada PlayStation Gear store or maybe it only cost $22 or maybe the fact it’s not possible to import it from US/Canada store but something is stopping my posts being shown about this matter.

It’s “xe.com”, any comments with links get moderated

Jeff-Andrew-NL 1 December, 2015 @ 12:18 am   2

There’s some pretty decent stuff in there.

IREWolfman 1 December, 2015 @ 12:21 am   3

Nothing if you already have MGS and only have a PS4

    StevenJamesHyde 1 December, 2015 @ 7:50 am

There’s actually a bunch of other PS4 discounts live today which aren’t listed here – Volume and Zombie Vikings for £7.99, pretty much all the ex-Plus games for dirt cheap… presumably they’re the regular weekly sale rather than this Christmas-specific thing, and will be listed in a separate post later

Danterikxx 1 December, 2015 @ 12:27 am   4

Now this is a sale.

Hoping to see Mad Max and Fallout 4 among the discounted games

Wow, great sale! I love the 12 deals of Christmas, got some really great games throughout the years. But I’m buying Siege tomorrow, so it will take a great deal to make me jump on it. Either way, keep them coming 😉

Assassin’s Creed 2 Game of the Year Edition is not on sale, is there a issue.

Actually cheaper than Steam! I wonder what kind of black magic had to be done to achieve that. I wanted MGS5 on a sale anyway, I think this is the time to get it.

Get it in Tesco then if u r from UK. It’s just 26 quid there.

If you pre-purchase store credit you can buy from the store for the equivalent of the same/slightly less than the Tesco price of £26

X_Blood_Curse_X 1 December, 2015 @ 1:46 am   8

Requesting Shovel Knight for one of the twelve deals, and hopefully all the deals won’t just be overpriced digital AAA games that I could buy cheaper at retail months ago

Joyeux Noël à tous.

This is what we call a great sale. Don’t forget Uncharted 4 Beta and Just Cause 3.

There needs to be more complaints about this MGSV sale.
Good job PSN, you’re so close to matching Steam’s $55NZD vs our $63NZD. I’m getting it for the PS love.

bluemoon1987 1 December, 2015 @ 2:18 am   11

Surprisingly good start to the 12 deals of christmas. Now i’m just hoping the level of discount at least remains the same and there’s some games i haven’t already bought. Hoping for Mad Max and Syndicate

Chris with yet another lazy post not bothering to list the prices for the UK and not even any prices listed for Australia and New Zealand.

    Zambayoshi 1 December, 2015 @ 9:51 pm

Not only that, but the ‘Games under $18’ (Australia) sale is plain false. There are plenty of games there for $22.95… SMH

chandan_chainani 1 December, 2015 @ 2:32 am   13

Arkham Collection is not showing discounted price

Richardv367 1 December, 2015 @ 2:48 am   14

I never complain about the deals or ps plus lineups, I vote with my wallet and pay for what I deem good value (yes, I think psplus is still good value).
Just please start posting the GBP prices alongside euros, I don’t even care if it takes an extra day or two, although I don’t imagine it’s that difficult of a task. Saves me the disappointment when I see the prices in store, as prices don’t reflect conversion rates. Cheers.

Just use psprices .com . They’re too lazy to do it here.

    fps_d0minat0r 1 December, 2015 @ 6:56 pm

No its not a difficult task.
If they download a spreadsheet from their content management system, it should take less than an hour to come up with a similar blog post to the one above but also including £.

    The Euro saved playstation.
If they cant cope with just £ and €, imagine the mess if all EU countries were still using their old currencies.

MarshmellowJay 1 December, 2015 @ 3:54 am   15

Sure would be swell if you guys included $AU in your posts seeing that the Aussie blog was consolidated into the Euro one. Hate to come off as a second rate citizen here, but it’s just lazy and needlessly exclusive.

    KaneTheGoth 1 December, 2015 @ 1:28 pm

Nothing is logical really. Keep in mind the blog posts are written in the UK, but don’t even have the £ listed.

Amazing Spider Man 2 Gold Edition still says 49.99 on the store.

Romero_Carpenter 1 December, 2015 @ 4:58 am   17

You need to make it clearer exactly what DLC is included with season passes and Gold editions.

    Romero_Carpenter 1 December, 2015 @ 5:06 am

Do I get all DLC with the Assassins Creed III Gold edition?

    AlexAtkinUK 1 December, 2015 @ 2:14 pm

Its about time they clamped down and gave a standard name for “game + all DLC”. Gold edition, complete edition, GOTY, Ultimate, etc, its getting stupidly confusing.

    Romero_Carpenter 2 December, 2015 @ 10:50 am

Apparently there are 3 different Gold editions of AC3 alone. It’s like they are intentionally making it confusing .

zalwelgoedgaan 1 December, 2015 @ 6:42 am   18

Yeah… I’ve pretty much bought whatever I was interested in during last gen, the recent sales confirm that. It’s been a great one, at least.

Stonesthrow 1 December, 2015 @ 7:19 am   19

Was pretty excited to read “Games under 15” just to find out it’s basically a last-gen sale.. Never put any hope in the running deals thing either, too expensive for a sale and usually got those on disc.. Some rest for the wallet and PSN :p

It’s great you guys are putting the prices under the titles

Just shame you’re only putting Euro though

Tough times indeed

(oh and what’s going on with those PS+ physical gifts? 2 months overdue now)

Still not got mine either. No word from Sony, announce it, get good press, then slink off into the shadows.

    CluckNuggets 2 December, 2015 @ 1:07 am

I’m still waiting for the free year of identity protection Sony promised us when they got hacked.

Aquatiger07 1 December, 2015 @ 7:59 am   21

Was excited to see Everybody’s Golf was on sale. But for some reason isn’t when I visit the store?

medenko1975 1 December, 2015 @ 8:06 am   22

I remember last year it was bad deal.

medenko1975 1 December, 2015 @ 8:12 am   23

Difference betwen AS Creed 2 Complete pack and GOTY?

    StevenJamesHyde 1 December, 2015 @ 8:23 am

Both exactly the same content (base game plus two DLC sequences and pre-order bonuses), but I think one of them is downloaded as a single file while the other is split into three

medenko1975 1 December, 2015 @ 8:19 am   24

Handball 16 54,99 ROFLMAO
SONY what have you been smoking? I want that 🙂

Opt1mus76 1 December, 2015 @ 8:19 am   25

Fingers crossed for Mad Max, Tearaway Unfolded and Witcher 3 (yes, I know it was in Black Friday Sale but I was too busy enjoying Fallout 4 to pick up another massive open world game)
And I second Roxas598’s question with regards PS+ loyalty gift. Last I heard was intended for delivery in October but nothing since

How much do you expect mad max, tearaway and Fallout to be? I could point you in the direction of physical copies for cheaper than they would be on here…

    Opt1mus76 1 December, 2015 @ 9:50 am

I’m not in a hurry for any of them as I’ve still plenty to do on Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 arrived yesterday but if they are cheap enough, sub £20 perhaps, I’d prefer digital as I can install onto both my PS4 and play on either console without messing about with discs. Thanks anyway Tee_Doff

Tearaway Unfolded is for sale @ Game for £14.99 and Mad Max is £22.85 also @ Game

GalfordDW 1 December, 2015 @ 8:20 am   26

Are all the sales applied? Just checked the Ultra Street Figher IV (PS4) one and sale is not appearing in the store.

Loads of them aren’t applied. Typical SCEE. Hopefully after the store update today they will all be up.

I have a bad feeling that it is just the PS3 version which is meant to be discounted and that the link to the PS4 version is wrong. The PS4 one was on sale in the Black Friday deals for £11.99 so I don’t think they would discount it to £7.99 less than 48 hours later. Hope I’m wrong but that is what I think has happened.

    its_snake 1 December, 2015 @ 7:15 pm

I don’t think so, they clearly stated separate prices for seperate versions. Ultra Street Fighter IV for 9.99 €, and 6.99 for PS3 version (they mistakenly named it “Street Fighter IV Ultra” in the list).

Anybody remenber Vita?

Some Ok games in this sale. Finally getting Atelier games on the vita for decent prices.

HOWEVER

– The MGS price should be £25, not £30. The exchange rate is £1 = €1.43, which is sub £25. That would be a competitive price. And was MGSV REALLY £60 on the PSN store before this sale? That is ridiculous.

– Please separate the games by platform rather than alphabetically.

wake me up when we get our 10% sale code and the Bloodborne DLC is back for £11.99 or an explanation is given.

Thanks.

Wow, pretty awesome sale!
I expected Meruru+ to go on sale since Totori+ did, but never expected so soon =D

Great start to the Xmas Sales 🙂

Incidental, is there anyway to make requests on sale prices? I Only ask because I missed Drakengard 3 at 50% by about 2 minutes (by the time my PSN credit finished redeeming it had just gone past midnight) when it last went on sale I think over a year ago. I’ve been waiting ever since for it to go on sale again as I can’t financially justify spending £40 on it at the moment… especially when my inner pessimist believes it will go on sale the moment I purchase it at full price.

Carnivius_Prime 1 December, 2015 @ 10:04 am   31

Ah nothing for me yet. I don’t really play my PS3 all that much anymore so would like more for PS4. Not into Metal Gear but I’ll be patient and hope something else comes up during this holiday sale. 🙂

Yay! Completed the Arland Trilogy for the Vita 😀

Santousen86 1 December, 2015 @ 10:05 am   33

Have Soul Sacrifice Delta any chance os appear in christmas sales?
Vita is no more a Sony console?

    SatoshiOokami 1 December, 2015 @ 11:19 am

“Vita is no more a Sony console?”
1/3 of the sale for Vita…
Um… do you deliberately ignore facts? 😀

    Timberman80 1 December, 2015 @ 1:18 pm

Umm, I really hope Im wrong in this, but I think that this “under 15€” campaign is final, and will not be renewed. This is it, folks. If 12 deals do not include Vita, then I’d like to second the

It’s been a bit disappointing as vita games weren’t featured in any Black Friday sale online (Game, Shopto, 365 etc). I hope that isnt an omen of things to come. However there are lots of vita and psp games in this sale.

The-Jawbreaker- 1 December, 2015 @ 10:25 am   34

Can someone tell which are the other 1 1 games for ps4 we can get with discount until Christmas? Except for MGS5?

    SatoshiOokami 1 December, 2015 @ 11:20 am

Possibly other 11 blockbusters, like Witcher 3, possibly Fallout 4, etc.

    StevenJamesHyde 1 December, 2015 @ 11:58 am

My guesses – no Black Friday repeats, nothing less than a couple of months old, nothing that’s previously been on Plus and nothing that’s been on sale a dozen times before. Those last two assumptions are massively unlikely, but hey

    Tearaway Unfolded
    Nathan Drake Collection
    The Talos Principle
    DriveClub Bikes
    Life is Strange complete series
    SOMA
    Divinity: Original Sin
    Wasteland 2
    Axiom Verge
    Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
    God of War Remastered

    Anyone else?

    The-Jawbreaker- 1 December, 2015 @ 12:24 pm

I hope we can get Black ops 3 and The last of us.

    Cronoss69 1 December, 2015 @ 12:40 pm

Wasteland 2 and/or Divinity would be much appreciated, so I doubt those’ll be offered.

one of them will possibly be NFS Rivals.

    StevenJamesHyde 1 December, 2015 @ 1:02 pm

Jawbreaker – Black Ops 3 was on sale yesterday, you missed out. TLoU is a good shout, maybe the 12th deal will be an extra special Naughty Dog double header…

    Carnivius_Prime 1 December, 2015 @ 1:33 pm

They had the Last of Us last year (didn’t have a PS4 then) and again was very cheap during a later sale (which by then I did have a PS4 and bought it). I wouldn’t mind Axiom Verge and God of War 3 remastered being heavily price reduced if possible as for different reasons I haven’t felt compelled to buy either at usual prices but I would like them.

    The-Jawbreaker- 1 December, 2015 @ 2:24 pm

    StevenJamesHyde,

Yes, it was on sale, but come on – 14%? I know it is a new game, but what is the point of such pathetic discount… A good deal is 30 and more…

    Cronoss69 1 December, 2015 @ 3:43 pm

I’m guessing Until Dawn is a very possible candidate for one of the earlier discounts.

Samael_blackwing 1 December, 2015 @ 10:53 am   35

Come on, give me Rocket Knight and Sideway NY on sale already!
Yes yes, I know I ask about those on EVERY blog post – and if I spent the same effort doing some matter of freelance job I’d have the money to buy them full price already, but still…

It’s the final two PS3 games I still want!

Pretty awesome games for under £12 sale 🙂 Just a little annoying thing, Your listings say i don’t own things like the SLy trilogy on PS3, but I do. Why does that happen? It has recognised my purchases before?

Bound by Flame link takes me to the PS4 game; got my hopes up for a moment…

No 12 days for Vita?

MoaayadAhmad 1 December, 2015 @ 11:19 am   38

Is this applies for US store? because I didn’t find the offer there.

This looks like a very worthwhile sale, thank you.

Please could you include prices in £££’s as well? My internal currency converter is not what it once was!

It’s probably spot on then… As it ranges from €1.08 to €1.56 depending on which item you look at…

The Metal Gear Solid V PS4 price is wrong on the store. €34.99 is a little under £25.

Correct £24.60 – So yep, what’s happening with that or do different conversation rates apply in the realms of PSN perhaps compared to the rest of the planet?

They base it on % rather than rate. So both got a 50% deduction, however we were paying £60(!) (€85) and they were paying €70…

Well this is a pretty good price! Now i am actually looking forward to the christmas sale 🙂

Well done!

Cronoss69 1 December, 2015 @ 12:36 pm   42

How stunningly uninteresting.

Not bad sae but Is the UK so insignificant that you can’t put GBP prices nowadays, what’s going on?

weaselpipe 1 December, 2015 @ 12:38 pm   44

Neptunia 3 and Meruru + for me. Still can’t use credit cards on my account, been a whole week now.
This month expect to see a lot of complaints that the deals don’t include Fallout 4/ Just Cause 3 (and if they do they aren’t cheap enough) despite them being brand new.
I’ve noticed the comments seem to be…
[If a sale includes very few Vita games] This is disgraceful you killed Vita
[If a sale includes a good amount of Vita games] This is a disgraceful last gen sale

My only complaint is I bought Undead Knights, Amnesia and Ar nosurge Plus in the last sale (this sale they are cheaper). I will probably pick up Neptunia 3 if it doesn’t show up in any shop sale.

I was disappointed that online shops didn’t have any vita games in their Black Friday, Cyber Monday sales. Game even removed vita in their usual handheld sale to just 3DS.

Fallout 4 (not even out a month) and Shopto had it for £36 on sale over the weekend. I guess people don’t think about using online stores to buy physical games.

I know DLC are evil and everything, but does anyone know how many DLC pieces are available for DiRT Showdown? If i check for the game on the Store, it doesn’t list any of them. However i found two of them by searching manually (“vip” and “hoonigan”), are there more of them?

Actually a good price for MGS! Surprised.

HydroHumperDW 1 December, 2015 @ 1:00 pm   47

Metal gear solid V is not showing the discount price on the PlayStation store… Please, let this actually be a thing

Digital version of retail title ‘sales’ suck when they priced so high digitally that retail still cheaper than the digital sale price.

Don’t turn this into another 12 jokes of Christmas.

MK_gamer2-0 1 December, 2015 @ 1:13 pm   49

There is a 31% discount on playstation store india not 50%.

bestheelever 1 December, 2015 @ 1:14 pm   50

Nice to see the UK still getting ripped off. MGS V is priced at £29.99 on the store Yet according to the Currency Converter I just checked ( Xe.Com ) btw we should only be paying £24.60. So with that said 1 12 days of Xmas rip off down only 11 to go……

    AlexAtkinUK 1 December, 2015 @ 3:26 pm

They don’t even have the “different tax” excuse like they do for the EU to US discrepancies.

Also, at £24.60 it would be competing with the likes of CEX, but at £29.99 its still cheaper to buy it second-hand.
