Rising Star’s rhythm action gem gets a fresh batch of new tracks

Hey PlayStation Blog readers – The time is NOW! That’s right, Superbeat: Xonic will now feature tracks from ARC System Works’ BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and rhythm puzzler Magical Beat as part of its stellar line up of DLC.

Get the first DLC pack for Superbeat: Xonic, launching today on PlayStation Store, which delivers three new Xonic packs. To celebrate the occasion, we wanted to give you a fundamental launch-day info dump!

What is included with the Superbeat: Xonic DLC?

Xonic PACKS #1, #2 and #3 deliver new music from a range of different artists and DJs from across the globe, and includes fist-punching tracks by Daisuke Ishiwatari of Guilty Gear Xrd fame.

How do I access the Xonic DLC?

Xonic DLC will be available for download on PlayStation Store starting today, 23rd February 2016.

The three new DLC packs feature tracks from the legendary BEATCRAFT series and Xonic artists to inject a new experience that will challenge and delight players of all levels.

  • 7’s Rebirth – XONIC PACK #1 – features two fast-paced D’n’B tracks from 7 Sequence and a new entry from rhythm-action veteran Cranky
  • Guilty Gear x XONIC – XONIC PACK #2 – Showcasing three rocking tracks by composer Daisuke Ishiwatari from the awesome beat ’em up Guilty Gear Xrd. These tunes will transport players into rhythm-action battle
  • Magical Blaze Collection – XONIC PACK #3 – Classic tracks from the infamously hard PSVita classic Magical Beat are now playable in Superbeat Xonic. Also, composer of the Blazblue soundtrack Tomohiro Kita (Elemental Garden) has also added a J-Pop classic and fan favourite into the mix
