Day of the Tentacle Remastered arrives on PS4 and PS Vita today

Day of the Tentacle first hit store shelves back in 1993. We’re excited that — 23 years later — Dr. Fred’s Mutant Purple Tentacle is once again poised to take on the world!

 
We’re hopeful that our remastered version of this classic LucasArts point and click puzzle adventure game will delight fans new and old; with high resolution artwork and high quality audio complementing the celebrated dialogue and clever puzzles that made Day of the Tentacle an instant classic back in the day.

To celebrate launch day we put together a little ‘making of’ featurette which follows the development of the game here at Double Fine. You’ll see the lengths we went to when making sure the remaster was recreated as faithfully as possible.
