Uncharted 4 was the best-selling game on PlayStation Store in May

Drake’s return sees off Overwatch, Doom and Shadow of the Beast

No surprise at which game secured the top spot on PlayStation Store’s May chart. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End took the crown by a hefty margin, seeing off strong debuts from Blizzard‘s new multiplayer shooter Overwatch and id Software‘s Doom reboot.

Elsewhere on the charts, Shadow of the Beast made it into the top 20 in its first month on release, while The Witcher 3’s Blood & Wine expansion made it to #2 on the DLC chart after just a single day on sale. See below for the full rundown.

You know what to do Sony ;)

Wowzers, Square Enix could’ve received those figures and still not know what to do.

Shadow of the Beast is superb. Shame it’s not selling well.

It’s my 3rd fave PS4 game of the year (after Uncharted 4 and Ratchet & Clank) but perhaps a bit too niche to sell more than the usual massively hyped stuff on the list.

Great game but a shame people will spend £20 more on a digital version

Its a shame that some people still don’t understand that a digital game can be installed and played on 2 consoles, and is often considerably cheaper for someone with 2 ps4’s registered on their account to buy one copy of the digital game rather than 2 copies of the physical version.

I bought the disk version of Uncharted 4 due to a number of reasons but when the digital version is cheap enough I’m selling the disk and buying digital instead cos I just prefer the convienence and decluttering of my shelf. :P

How about a sale for reaching number 1?

People might think that’s a regular thing and then nobody buys a game cos they’re waiting for everyone else to buy it and make it number 1 and then it doesn’t cos everyone was hoping it would be number one to get the sale price. :P

Shame SCEE completely threw Shadow of the Beast under the bus.

Zero hype, one news update which was quickly buried under a thousand junk articles about Uncharted, no retail release in Europe despite that being the franchises main market, etc.

Hopefully you guys haven’t killed off the developers. Heavy Spectrum deserve so much more.

Wow, you had to dig deep there. A whopping nine blog posts since August 2013. What a joke.
