Any word yet on adventure capitalist or taco master comming to europe?

I’d also love to know what’s up with Taco Master. It got rated by pegi all the way back in may :/ The developer isnt active on social media anywhere so this is the only place we can get an update.

I don’t have news about either of these so far, but I’ll see what I can find out.

Thanks for the help. Found anything?

Come on guys. Just cover off Retro Grade, swap it for another cheap first party game, and be done with it.

The delay and refusal to address the issue has gone beyond ludicrous now.

They addressed it OVER 10 days ago. Something like “Not everybody had PS+ at the beginning, and we’re sure people newer to the service want to sample older PS+ games” (paraphrasing).

( I should add by “addressing” I meant direct to somebody’s email! AFAIK it’s not been dealt with publicly. I don’t anticipate it will be either)

BluSpykz: If so why not some early PS+ AAA games?

When are you fixing the tool to allow Harmonix to put the Rock Band Rivals Pre-Order in the store? And when are the rest of the Rock Band exports coming to PS4? It has been 10 months since Rock Band 4 released and we are still waiting for those while PS4 SCEA and Xbox One (Worldwide) has basically each of them already.

No exports, no pre-order? No PS+ sub from me in October then, as I cannot put my faith in SIEE to deliver the content I paid for. More effort put into comment moderation than DLC delivery.

Same, I won’t purchase a PS+ subscription because of SCEE’s unwillingness to look after their customers.

I have purchased an Xbone and will continue to support Microsoft because they care.

And nothing of great value has been lost

Surely answering the questions on retro/grade would have been easier than all the ones you have deleted

maybe we should comment on the US blog instead of the EU one?

How come the Hitman episodes costs £7.99 for the PS4 but only £6.99 on steam?

5.1

Figure it out….Sony take a bigger cut but on the plus side you know the game will work at least!

I bought Bound. It’s pretty nice.

6.1

Is it comparable to something? I really can’t see what it is. I see platforming, weird floaty things and acrobatics. Wait a minute…sounds like a Summer Olympics tie in…

PS Plus PS3 Retro/Grade. Shameful.

Why won’t people give this issue a break. It’s as if the people don’t actually buy games anymore and rely on ps+ games to keep them going.
Yakuza easily makes up for a repeat game

@Burntbreadman because letting them off just encourages them to keep treating people the same way. I asked for months about the Bloodborne DLC price being higher than originally advertised, on the blog, email and twitter and got no response. It is an appalling way to treat customers and should not be tolerated.

burntbreadman 16 August, 2016 @ 15:45

Say you pay £40 a year….thats £3.33 a month……55p a game o.O
What about price of crude oil dropping but savings not being passed on to consumers. It happens everywhere which will cost most of you or you parents a lot more than 55p a month.

Most people don’t even download all the plus games every month.
I’d say 50 % of my friends don’t even know the plus games exist

Wonder how people will react when ps+ gets a price increase next year XD

Principals principles, yada yada yada fair enough. But the more vocal people on this forum make it sound like its the end of the world.

What a week!

Maybe publishers didn’t want to go up against No Man’s Sky; if only they’d known.

Apologies to any hardcore NMS fans, this wasn’t meant as an insult, just an observation.

8.1

Switch off.

What’s this with Organ Trail August 17th? It’s been in the store for a month, with wrong price and no Cross-Buy. The price has been corrected, will this mean that Cross-Buy is fixed also? Or is there some kind of a new policy giving US customers games cheaper with Cross-Buy and EU customers are left hanging with more expensive games and no Cross-Buy? Like European customers have games on Plus that has been there already?

Francesca Mead 16 August, 2016 @ 14:02
9.1

The cross-buy for Organ Trail will be available tomorrow, along with the Complete Edition.

FINALLY! Thank you! Waiting for a month for a comment on this. No apologies, nothing, but hey, I’m used to how you people run this blog, so I’ll take what I can. Thank you!

haha, spat my tea out at that :)

Stupid Question:
But the PS4 OS beta shouldn’t mess up anything and I should be able to buy, download and play any of these games right?

yeah stupid question. Works fine with any game, no idea why I even came up with that question.

Francesca Mead 16 August, 2016 @ 15:03

You shouldn’t have any problems with the new firmware, but please report something if you find it :)

11.3

just for your info, last beta (wich I signed for trying) didnt allowed me to play on remote with my vita.

So I did not signed for this one.

Nothing for me. At least Persona 5 got a European release date.

13

Wow, blog staff started to answer questions again. So here’s mine:

1) Any refund/other game on plus titles like – Retro/Grade, King’s Quest Ep.1? Why not?

2) When DLC’s will not be offered to PS+ (and also refunded/replaced), because it’s not a GAME, but an ADDON, and we were told that we will get GAMES, not ADDONS/PATCHES/UPDATES, but damn GAMES!!! Why not?!

That’s all.

13.1

Wasn’t there recently a comparable case where USPlus got something different from the get go, BECAUSE it had been included in their IGC before? I can’t remember what it was, but it’s been only a couple months ago.

13.2

PS+ DLCs are not part of Instant Game Collection. Stop being so entitled, you aren’t getting any refund, the Retro/Grade debacle was a drop in the ocean.

To avoid confusion about moderation with the blog – I do not moderate comments, I only respond (if and when I am able). Moderation is handled by a separate team, so please ensure your posts abide by the rules.

14.1

Francesca, thanks for the comment. Would you please give us the contact details of who we need to speak to about this retro/grade issue? Customer Service fobs us off, blog staff won’t/can’t reply, so who do we speak to? We have a legitimate question, and the community won’t just forget this one.

We’re not asking for trade secrets etc, just where we can direct these queries to :)

Hey Fran I’m sure your moderation team will love this one:

I like this blogs colors, the white, the blue, the black and the grey tones it really looks nice!

Hi Francesca, could you please let us know what can be said about the whole Retro/Grade situation.

Obviously, somebody is dictating the flow of information here, so I would like to know what can be shared.

We are aware that the blog team is aware of the discontent regarding a game being repeated from the PS plus catalogue. I think the key questions here are:

1) Was this intentional decision, knowing the EU store has had this before but the US/Japan store hadn’t, or is this a mistake somewhere?

2) Will there be any remedial action for the EU plus members who have already been offered Retro/Grade or is this something that will be shrugged off a with a comment another user has reported as ‘some users haven’t had the plus service as long as others’

3) Why has there been such a black out of communication regarding this?

^ This is more a bone of contention for me. If this is a mistake, then come out and say it was a mistake. If it was intentional, then say that too. It is really poor service from anyone’s perspective to just throw this months games out into the wild and pretend as if nothing has happened.

I understand that the ps plus offerings per month attract a lot of negativity from the community, some more so than others and personally, I believe some of it is to be expected, given the gradual decline in levels of offerings compared to the PS3 days. But that is not to say I endorse some of the hate throwing around, just I understand many people frustrations. However, this is beyond people simply not liking the games offered. Many feel that they have been cheated out of one of their monthly ‘free’ games due to it previously being offered before. Not only this, but the fact that it seems to have been done to appease the US store members, who already reap far greater benefits, sales, prices & content than we currently do, that we (EU store members) have to suffer again for their benefit.

I hope that some sort of response is made to this comment, ideally answering the above questions as any sort of response will go along way with the silent majority of readers who come by to get their information, rather than stay silent, bury your heads in the sand and hope it goes away.

Vita port of a game released previously on PS4 appears on store. No specific mention of it in the blog to alert Vita owners of this fact.

And developers wonder why Vita games struggle.

SMH although I’m not sure why I’m surprised.

Out of curiosity, is it deliberate – ie company policy to neglect not only the Vita, but millions of people that bought it?

15.1

What game?

15.2

Dungeon Punks. Now on Vita.

15.3

Vita games struggle because they are Vita games.

Vita is a failure and Sony already dropped first party development and moved it to ‘legacy’ status hardware alongside PS3 years ago.

Francesca, what is happening with Rock Band 4’s Exports, Legacy and De-listed DLC that was “promised” to us on the PS4 if we owned it on the PS3 in previous Rock Band titles?

Before you shift the blame to Harmonix, or fob me off to contact Harmonix. We know for a fact that SCEE are the ones holding up the process.

SCEA PS4 players, as well as XBOX players worldwide have almost all of their content available, but we here in SCEE regions only have the Rock Band 3 Export, and an incomplete Rock Band 1 Export.

Harmonix are waiting on some “tool” that verifies our entitlements to past/previous content, which they claim they need from SCEE.

We would appreciate a rough estimate as to when this “tool” will be made available so that we can finally get our “promised” content that the rest of the world already had months ago.

If you’re unable to provide us with an answer, could you please ask Fred or someone else at SCEE/SIEE/SIENE, what is happening with it?

There seems to be a serious communication breakdown between SONY Europe and Harmonix, and going by past history with not only Harmonix, but also other developers like Ubisoft (with extremely long delays in getting Rocksmith content here when that was released on the PS4). The common factor with all of these delays has always been SCEE.

If SCEE aren’t willing to provide us with an answer, or cooperate with us, then we’re left with no alternative but involve third parties. I and others will be lodging formal complaints against SCEE to the ACCC and Office of Fair Trading here in Australia.

SCEA always gets their content on time.

XBOX users get their content on time (worldwide).

SCEE content is always delayed. It doesn’t matter who the developer is.

Please respond!

I think everyone should make a complaint against SCEE.

Hi Francesca.

2 questions if you can answer :)

1. Will Blue rider release in Europe at some point

2. What happened to A.I.P.D? Its suddenly removed from the store

Thanks in advance

In terms of AIPD, it was never available in Sweden. It’s still up on the UK Store, however:

What’s happening with Inversus? Everywhere has it listed as coming out today.

19.1

Well, Playstation Blog EU listed it for 17th August so tomorrow it will be out. Or should be. It’s funny, because when we’re talking about EU, you never know, will you. It’s part of the excitement; will we get that game today, like rest of the world, or perhaps in a year, because SCEE.

20

You’ve forgotten to list the new DLC for LBP3.

And lots of other new things. I notice new things every week not listed on the blog and that’s just the ps4.

Still no Kerbal?

Where is the rest of the export for Rock band 4?!

SCEA PS4 players and XBOX players worldwide have all of their content available but here in EU some “tool” that verifies our entitlements to past/previous content is boken , which Harmonix claim they need from SCEE.

When is the tool getting fixed?

22.1

I suspect we won’t get an answer from Francesca any time soon. It’s like the Rocksmith debacle all over again. Week after week we pleaded for answers and action to get our PS3 songs onto the PS4, and week after week we were ignored by Jawad Ashraf (who ran the Blog back then). It wasn’t until Fred Dutton stepped in and replied, and soon after, we finally got the content.

They don’t even list each week’s Rock Band 4 and Rocksmith 2014 DLC on the EU Blog either. It seems that SCEE really hates musical games. Even SingStar’s been suffering a sad, silent fate this year.

But, back to Rock Band 4, and here’s what’s missing for SCEE users:

Rock Band 1 Export (incomplete – 8 of the 9 EU Bonus Songs exported on the PS3, but not the PS4)
Rock Band 2 Export
Green Day Rock Band Export
LEGO Rock Band Export
Track Pack Volume 2 Export
Other Legacy DLC from Rock Band 1, 2 and 3 (some need entitlement fixes, others need PS4 versions)
De-listed DLC due to expired licensing from Rock Band 1, 2 and 3

SCEA and XBOX users have almost all of the above content.

Whereas we SCEE users are missing so much. Rock Band 4 was released almost 10 months ago and we have but a fraction of what SCEA and XBOX users have. It’s not Harmonix’s fault when they’re waiting on an “updated tool” from SCEE or if SCEE requires them to re-submit the content because it’s not in the correct format, then how about conveying that message to Harmonix?

I feel this is going to drag on for months to come which is why i’ve had enough, and lodging formal complaints against SCEE for failing to provide adequate consumer/customer service and as they are the “gatekeepers” to what content is made available on the PSN Store, they’re the ones withholding content which we are eligible and entitled to. If it’s available in SCEA regions and on the XBOX, why is SCEE being so difficult?

Well, if SCEE employees won’t tell us, perhaps government agencies will be able to get answers and action from them.

I’ve read “This is the Police” is heading for ps4, but haven’t found more on that. Is there detail to know?

MCorePrincess 16 August, 2016 @ 20:09

I would also like to know why there is this ridiculous hold up with the Rock Band 4 legacy export content. Are us European users inferior to the rest of the world? You should be embarrassed that this is still an issue. It’s not going to go away no matter how much you think you can ignore us, and I will be continuing to bring it to the attention of the media. I’ve already reported you to the UK Watchdog. There’s definitely some sort of trading/regulatory abuse going on here.

24.1

Maybe they’re just waiting two more weeks. “Big news, all (well almost all…at least much of it…uh, okay, a wee bit of) the Rock Band DLC. Applaud us. And on a side note, here’s September’s Plus Rip-Off: Resogun and Contrast. You know, not everyone had a ps4 back then.”

25

Hi should change date for FINAL FANSTEY 15 game been delyed coming out november but on store still got September 30th.

26

When fans complaining about same game on PSPlus . MS offering more free games to xbox 360 and xbox 1 and more AAA games . Sony or who in charge of PS3 and PS4 wont offer fans more free AAA games . I hate give free indie crap. Time fans stood up and complain more . If Sony dont fix more players turn to new xbox 1 or .

Rock band rivals pre order? Remaining Rock band exports? Follow me down? Remaining entitlement fixes?

Anything????

The Rock Band situation is now a complete joke (but not very funny).

what about Kerbal Space Program? I can’t be the only person waiting for this

You are not alone. But we are obviously not worthy of knowing any info of what is the new estimated date of release. We are just supposed to believe that after more than month developers and Sony still not have a clue what happened, how to fix it, and how long will it take to fix it.

I notice that there’s a preorder up for Hue, but only for PS4 – I’m most interested on playing it on the Vita. If I preorder now, will I be able to play the Vita version on launch at no extra cost? Failing that, if I don’t preorder, will the 20% plus discount still be available when the Vita version does launch?

Francesca Mead 17 August, 2016 @ 14:03

According to the developers, the Vita version is planned for a later release, which is why the PS4 version is the only one up right now.

StevenJamesHyde 17 August, 2016 @ 15:17

Thanks, I won’t bother pre-ordering then. Last time a bought a game due for later release on the Vita, “later” meant “a year after everyone else had got it free on Plus”

AussieOutsider 17 August, 2016 @ 10:15

So many complaints about Rock Band 4… yet no answers. What a surprise. I purchased Rock Band 4 at it’s full price ($85 here in Australia) on the PS Store on Day 1 of it’s release with the promise that all previous entitlements that had been bought on the PS3 would work on the PS4. It’s been 10 months, Harmonix are now claiming that a tool that SCEE won’t update is now causing the issues, which is now stopping the pre orders of Rock Band Rivals.

SCEE, I will be contacting the ACCC and Office of Fair Trading here tomorrow morning about steps I can take to escalate this issue.

32.1

And I advice everyone who this matter concerns to do the same.

because that ACCC-whatever is going to punish SCEE very badly heh lol.
