Disgaea, Battle Princess of Arcadias, Faery: Legends of Avalon and more join the streaming service

Morning all. This month’s drop is a biggy for those of you with a love of customisation, strategy and adventure as well as an abundance of spare time on your hands. We’ve highlighted some of the best games below to guide you on your path of gaming indulgence.

Battle Princess of Arcadias

Made with a hearty dollop of beat ’em up, a swirl of role-play and sprinkled with strategy – you can devour this colourful and challenging chocolate cake of a game in around 30 hours. You can do it Bruce!

Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice and Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten

The Disgaea franchise has picked up a huge following over the years and these three RPG classics will have you engrossed for quite some time. With a heavy focus on strategy and with a twist of humour that underpins the series – you’ll be hooked for sure. Warning: Absence of Justice = Absence of Social Life.

Faery: Legends of Avalon

This fantasy-driven epic is one for the treasure hunters and level-uppers – fly across the impressive backdrops of Avalon and beyond as you piece together an intriguing storyline. You can even work your magic on romanticising with your in-game companions, so there’s hope for us yet fellow singletons.

Legasista

When this content-rich escapade hit the shelves in 2012, indulgent PS3 players were left misting up the shop windows in sheer excitement. Legasista is the hero of customisation so if creating the perfect persona right down to the finest detail is your thing, this one’s for you.

The Awakened Fate Ultimatum

Another RPG classic with a good sense of humour and storyline with a twist at every turn – the intense finale will have you fighting through 100 level dungeons and if you leave or die then you’ll be doing it all over again. A taste for the hardcore.

The Guided Fate Paradox

Probably the maddest game in this month’s drop – don’t be fooled though, despite its effervescent graphics and characters to boot, this game is HARD so be prepared to not see daylight for a few weeks.
