Hope at least some will be free. October-November is a VERY tough month for my bank account – with both PS VR and PS4 Pro launching!

2.2

Are these valid for Switzerland as well?

What are the prices? And are any of them free, like a VR YouTube?

YouTube VR that must be happening?

I also wonder what the region restrictions are. Will these be available everywhere?

6.1

Yes, these will be available across the SIEE region.

6.2

Nice to see your still knocking about Fred, not seen you much.

6.3

Thanks ;) Sorry for being less visible – it’s been a busy old time.

This is quite important and could be a huge game changer in helping to convince for a purchase.

These look great.

I’d love to see music and sports events live in VR.

Make it happen Sony. Partner with FIFA and let us enjoy any football game like we’re actually there.

Woah! I want several of those, hope the price is “right”!

Fantastic, this is the kind of thing that promotes VR, not everyone likes games, so to put on a Nature Doc for your parents etc.

These all need to be free, any sort of charge for things like this kills it off almost instantly.

I’m really looking forward to that documentary. VR anomalocaridid FTW!

Thanks for this rundown, it looks awesome. Are you aware if any of these allow you to view downloaded VR video files, or is it just the content that is served by the app?

13

When you say available soon, do you mean straight away on launch day or the more nebulous launch window?

14

Will we be getting the missing demos from our disks on the store?

Looking forward to it. Off topic does anyone know if I can my 2tb hdd out of my PS4 and add it straight into the pro and it keeps all the stuff on it rather than downloading again.

17.1

No, it would have to format everything.

Do 3D bluray movies have any advantages being viewed on the psvr, or will it not be compatible?

AbandonedTrolley 11 October, 2016 @ 12:27
18.1

No, cinematic mode will not give 3D bluray advantages as per the FAQ

https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2016/10/03/playstation-vr-the-ultimate-faq/

Q: Will the PS VR display 3D content in Cinematic Mode?
No. In Cinematic Mode, PS VR will display 3D games and films in 2D when playing on a 3D-compatible TV. When playing with non 3D-compatible TVs or without a TV, PS4 won’t play 3D games and films.

Great I want this now. Will this be available in Australia?

You forgot Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live or is it considered a game instead? It wasn’t on the list of games either though.

Dear Fred, I am having difficulty downloading Allumette from polish PS Store, no sign in there of the app while browsing and also cannot access/download full movie from within the PS VR …:-( Would you be so kind and check if all is OK in the store? Thanks a bunch in advance as i cannot wait to see the whole story! ;-)
