Colourful shooter Dexed, from Ninja Theory, is coming to PlayStation VR next week

Blast your way to higher scores in this Panzer Dragoon-inspired shooter

Hello to all PlayStation gamers! This is Fran Mead from Ninja Theory to let you know that our VR shooter Dexed will be available soon for PlayStation VR!

At its heart, Dexed is an on-rails VR shooter inspired by games like Panzer Dragoon where you wield dual blasters of fire and ice, taking down enemies whilst journeying through elegant and vibrant worlds. Ice enemies can only be damaged by fire, and vice versa, making this game a true test of your DEXterity (see what we did there?). You can also tag multiple enemies to perform skilful combos, which will increase your score multiplier.

If you feel you’re up to the challenge, there is the endless Arcade Mode, where you will be bombarded by enemies in an arena. Keep your shields up, protect your health bar and watch out for the dangerous detonating enemies. The truly DEXterous will emerge champions of the global and friends leaderboard!

You may also explore the lush and colourful environments of DEXED at your leisure in our Zen Mode. Sit back and relax whilst we take you on a tour of each of our Challenge Mode levels, free of enemies and distractions.

DexedDexed

Dexed encompasses what we love most in video games and what we strive to accomplish in our own games, namely a unique art vision combined with ninja-class gameplay.

Dexed will be available for PlayStation VR on 1st February.

You should check out Hellblade as well! That’s another one they’ve been working on for what feels like forever. Looks kinda creepy.

We’re still here ;) As neverhesitate1 says, we’re currently working on Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, which will be released this year on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Yep! Will buy. :)

:)

@Playstation Shouldn’t this be in the Coming Soon section of the PS Store? So everyone with a Playstation will know these games are coming out.

Its good to see another VR game is coming out and can’t wait for this

Day 1 for me this, anything with Ninja theory on it means perfect for me:-).

That said, why are so many VR titles missing from the Norwegian PS Store?
Just realized today that 15+ titles ain’t on it ( Ace Banana , pixel gear and and so on)

Thank you very much!

I find that upcoming less know games or producers need to be shown more on the PSN Store. In general, if its not a big title it doesn’t appear unless you dig deep into the games that have been released.

Any word on pricing for this title?

The price in euros will be 8.99. Other EU prices will be a conversion from this on the PlayStation Store :)

Color me interested! Great to have Ninja Theory back supporting a young sony platform. Keep up the good work guys!
