New on PlayStation Store this week: Nex Machina, Get Even, Danganronpa PS4, more

Plus, new DLC for World of Tanks, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Warframe

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time once again to check out the week’s newcomers on PlayStation Store. Kicking things off this week is the latest arcade dust-up from Resogun creator Housemarque. Nex Machina sees the Finnish studio team up with legendary developer Eugene Jarvis – expect frenetic top-down twin-stick action, rock hard gameplay, couch co-op and – of course – gratuitous explosions.

Elsewhere this week, Bandai Namco drops its surreal new FPS Get Even, there’s a PS4 version of twisted PS Vita adventure Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, and new DLC lands for Ghost Recon Wildlands, World of Tanks and Warframe.

See below for the full rundown.

Hi Fred could you please remove both DLCs for the PS3 game “Army of Two” from all regions Stores, both are multiplayer packs and online multiplayer was shut down FIVE years ago. And one is even priced. And to add insult to injury, the priced DLC was even discounted months ago! So yeah, it’s a scam.

I just had a quick look on the store as I had to see this my self. The only 2 DLC on the store I can find for the original Army of Two is a free one (Veteran) and one for £4.99 (SSC Challenge). Both of these DLC packs can also be played via single player and local co-op. I agree they should remove the 2-4 network bit in the descripton. But since both DLC are available for single player use as well. I don’t see why they should be removed as it’s not a scam.

Well in that case i request the removal of my previous comment. Sorry to everyone.

And i don’t think they’ll ever change the description. Months ago i reported a couple of issues with the Store descriptions of Warhawk (the PSOne Classic, not the PS3 exclusive) and Ridge Racer Vita DLCs and nothing came out of it, despite the promises of the Customer Service.

Bleh, they decided to remove them worldwide anyway… i’m not even sure anymore if the SSC Challenge had some degree of offline content, as all other sites mention only the maps for the new online mode.

Nurse Love Addiction out of nowhere!

Seems like the type of game typically listed as (Not in Australia/NZ) so here’s hoping!

I’d like to point out that when Danganronpa Another Episode came out on Vita 2 years ago, your store update post didn’t even include it in any capacity.

Yet now it’s apparently significant enough to include in the write-up?

Because it’s a ps4 game.

How on earth can you even remember this? Why do you care? It was two years ago!

Nothing for me this week, maybe Nurse Love Addiction, but i feel like i should save my money for the upcoming Big In Japan sale(if that’s still happening)..

Enjoying Nex machine so any chance be soundtrack on store because love music this game.

It’s ok I found soundtrack on Spotify ?

madmanwithabox12 20 June, 2017 @ 12:28

Also… Rockstar didn’t make Red Dead Revolver or Max Payne.

Rockstar did develop Red Dead Revolver, so you were half right.

I guess Max Payne is lumped in due to them being involved in the third game in the series (tenuous link, but hey…if hey want to give me a great game as an extra, I’m happy)

KaneTheGoth 20 June, 2017 @ 13:03

Rockstar published Max Payne. You seem to be in a picky mood today Mr Madman?

Rockstar published the PS2, Box and Gameboy Advance ports.

Crash bandicoot pre order has now got x4 themes x5 avatars il know nxt week 28th if im right, wooooooo

Carnivius_Prime 20 June, 2017 @ 13:46

Bought Blasting Agent and I Want to be Human. Fun and very cheap games at a price that reminds me of the good ol’ days of budget titles on 8 bit computers where you could take a chance on a unknown title for a couple quid. I’ll likely get Nex Machina when it drops in price. As tempting as a Housemarque game is with Robotron creator Eugene Jarvis involved appeals to me, it looks a little too busy and headache-inducing to me. :P

CoolRichy007UK 20 June, 2017 @ 13:47

Island flight simulator was a pc and wii game lol so is this really for the players old games from pc and wii recycled for the ps4

The Flatout 4 dlc is still on-store even though it doesn’t work, Sony are aware of the issue but as of speaking it STILL doesn’t work.

So where is fantastic contraption? Was there earlier but now gone?

Senseless_Thing 20 June, 2017 @ 16:02

Has anyone been able to get the PS+ discount for Nex Machina to work?

Accoring to PSPrices, it should be on!/en-gb/games/nex-machina/cid=EP2604-CUSA05595_00-NEXMACHINAPREBEU, but I don’t see a link.

That discount was for pre order only. It’s now out so full price. It was only a small saving anyway.

Senseless_Thing 20 June, 2017 @ 16:20

Bah. Thanks frodouk for the reply.

Welcome mate. Honestly though it wasnt even a €2 euro saving

xscapeguy2007 20 June, 2017 @ 16:41

Hi Fred and PlayStation crew!

Can you please let me know if there is more Vr sales coming up on the store? I have asked this alll week but i take it you all have been to e3?

I have also recently tried my very hardest to get hold of a Far point bundle after pre-ordering but being let down.

I have been told from GAME that they have to take down all POS to do with the game/controller, and they , they will not be getting this product in ever again or for some considerable time!

Can you explain to me and i am sure lots of other people that have bought or try to purchase the controller bundle what would make Game tell me this?

I am reallly hoping that there is not a recall on this or you have found that there is something wrong!

There would be news all over the internet if that was the case. Another case of Game telling lies.

Rastamadeus 20 June, 2017 @ 17:38

It isnt Game telling lies, it’s just the hardware not selling and therefore being taken off their shelves. Why stock something that nobody wants (rightly or wrongly)?

It’s game telling lies. It is in stock everywhere else so can’t see it being a case of nobody wanting it

Half the links are broken because we are days and days away from the games release. A bit amateur.

mygamingnewz2 20 June, 2017 @ 17:38

I believe Dungeon defenders 2 free to play also out. Not early access anymore

AL3MERH_2011 20 June, 2017 @ 18:18

Next week guys Next week ahh can’t wait

flipkick661 20 June, 2017 @ 18:37

No Fantastic Contraption on the Danish store

Or UK.

Alucard6769 20 June, 2017 @ 21:22

I understand from youtube it was released early and in an unfinished state by accident. Which makes it kinda hilarious that a mistaken release was covered in this blig.

Movies can be purchased in the PlayStation Store in Sweden! I believe this was added this week. Can someone confirm?

No mention of Dead by Daylight, which is released this week…

Steredenn, finally something fresh on PSN! Well, it’s been on Steam for two years but… yeah.

Glad I still have my powerful PlayStation Mark III around to replay this gem.

XtianHawkGamer 22 June, 2017 @ 07:32
