Win a spot on the WipEout Omega Collection soundtrack

Winning remix will be patched into the game, and winner gets a PS4 Pro and copy of the game

WipEout Omega Collection is finally out, so it’s time to let you in on a secret. When we revealed what we said was the full track list, that wasn’t strictly true. We’re giving you the opportunity to contribute track 29.

Already featuring a mix of WipEout legends including The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, alongside some of the hottest new artists on the music scene, we’re challenging you to submit your own remix for a chance to win the elusive final spot on the critically acclaimed track list.

The tune to remix and make your own is Shake It by ADDIKTION. We’ve put the stems up on our SoundCloud account – check them out below – and they are available to download now.

Simply grab them, create your own remix and send your final track as a .wav file to siee.wipeoutps4@sony.com before 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST, 12th August 2017.

Our panel of experts will listen to every submission and make a call on who wins not only a spot on the soundtrack, which will be patched into the game and made available to play worldwide, but also a copy of the game and a PS4 Pro. Full T&Cs can be found here.

For a few tips on how to create the perfect WipEout remix, here’s a video of ADDIKTION talking about the track:

And for some inspiration, why not listen to the full WipEout Omega Collection playlist on Spotify?

Spin those decks

I must admit, the sound track is the only bad thing about the game.

Not the actual music, but after playing HD, then Fury, then 2048, you have heard every song 50 times…

Agreed, very disappointed with the new soundtrack. I thought it was going to be more exciting to be honest.

What? Soundtrack is awesome what more do you want from 28 tracks?

@jfontyman As i said, i have no problem with the music, there just needs to be more.

28 tracks between 3 games with full campaigns is waaaay to little.

I know it sounds stoopid, but even if they had 10-15 tracks per game it would be better. That way it gets a bit repetitive, but when you play the next game, you have some fresh tracks again.

This is awesome! But, guys, please bring custom music support to the game! Currently custom tracks played through PS4 native software players and Spotify doesn’t sync with Zone events visuals. This will be huge and all Wipeout fans will be thankful for it!

This is too awesome. Both the music of WipEout and the gameplay really go hand in hand. Been a massive fan of both since I got into the series on my PSP. I can’t wait to piece together a remix that still ‘feels WipEout’.

Particularly surprised the drum stems were not included, will push people to make more unique entries. I’m hoping everyone doesn’t hear “we need the track to be WipEout, which means fast”, and automatically think, we must do a DnB remix!

Good luck everyone
